#RHOA: Kim Zolciak’s $2.8M Mansion ‘Put On Auction Block’ After She Fails To Pay Back $1.6M Loan In Foreclosure Case
REAL Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann's $2.6 million Georgia mansion is reportedly up for auction again.
It has been claimed that a new notice was filed with Fulton County Records on February 8 by Truist Bank, formerly known as SunTrust Bank, after Kim's property dodged a sheriff sale back in November 2022.
All About The Tea has reported that there is an outstanding loan amount of $1,650,000.00, plus taxes and fees.
According to Fulton county records, Truist Bank began the foreclosure proceedings on Kim's 7,186 square ft. home back in August 2022 and they now plan to auction off the property next month.
A notice of Sale Under Power states that the 6.5 bathroom, 5 bedroom home will be placed on the auction block and will be sold at “public outcry to the highest bidder" for cash before the courthouse door of Fulton County, Georgia, within the legal hours of sale on March 7, 2023.
"The debt secured by said Security Deed has been and is hereby declared due because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness as and when due and in the manner provided in the Note and Security Deed," the court documents stated.
"The debt remaining in default, this sale will be made for the purpose of paying the same and all expenses of this sale, as provided in Security Deed and by law, including attorney’s fees (notice of intent to collect attorney’s fees having been given)."
All About The Tea reported that the legal records state: "Said property will be sold subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes (including taxes which are a lien, but not yet due and payable), any matters which might be disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection of the property, any assessments, liens, encumbrances, zoning ordinances, restrictions, covenants, and matters of record superior to the Security Deed first set out above."
Legal documents obtained by The U.S. Sun last year showed that Kim, 44, and her ex-NFL star husband Kroy Biermann had "failed to pay back" a $300K loan after their TV show Don't Be Tardy was canceled.
RHOA star Kim and Kroy's home was foreclosed upon "because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness".

#HipHopNews: T.I. Announces “Kill The King” Will Be His Last Solo Album
Rapper T.I. has carried the “King of the South” title for some time now. But he’s ready to step down after he releases what he says will be his final solo album.
“Kill the King” is in the works. The hip-hop legend told TMZ the album would end the famous tagline he adopted years ago.
The Atlanta rapper told the outlet that he went for the vacant name after he heard fellow rapper Mystikal call himself the “Prince of the South” on the 2001 album “Tarantula.”
He added that he received blessings to call himself “King of the South” from other hip-hop icons like Outkast, Scarface, 8ball, and MJG, but Big Boi told him to be mindful that that title can come with a supersized can of worms.
T.I. admitted that wearing the crown certainly did. Although short-lived, there was beef with Ludacris and his camp and others for proclaiming the throne.
There isn’t a release date for his final project, but T.I. revealed there would be a banger from Jermaine Dupri on the album.
T.I. has his hands on other projects as well. He recently signed on as a brand ambassador for a Black-owned cannabis company and is looking forward to the 20th anniversary of his classic breakout album “Trap Muzik.”
For the 15th anniversary, T.I. and Grand Hustle debuted Trap Museum in Atlanta, it’ll be interesting to see what he has in store for the next milestone.
Former President Jimmy Carter to begin receiving home hospice care
Former US President Jimmy Carter will begin receiving hospice care at his home in Georgia, according to a statement from The Carter Center on Saturday.
"After a series of short hospital stays, former US President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team," the statement said.
Jason Carter, a onetime Democratic state senator in Georgia and the former president's grandson, said he visited Friday with his grandparents and that "they are at peace and -- as always -- their home is full of love."
Former President Jimmy Carter and singer Willie Nelson, seen here in 1980, have been friends for decades.
As a child, Jimmy Carter absorbed the sound of gospel from local singers in Plains, Georgia, and country music from stations he could pick up on a battery radio, he says in the documentary, "<a
Jimmy Carter, who turned 98 last year, became the oldest living US president in history after the passing of George H.W. Bush, who died in late 2018 at 94. The nation's 39th president has kept a low public profile in recent years due to the coronavirus pandemic but has continued to speak out about risks to democracy around the world, a longtime cause of his.
Carter beat brain cancer in 2015 but faced a series of health scares in 2019, and consequentially underwent surgery to remove pressure on his brain. His health woes forced him to give up his decadeslong tradition of teaching Sunday school at Maranatha Baptist Church in his hometown of Plains, Georgia.
A peanut farmer and US Navy lieutenant before going into politics, Carter, a Democrat, eventually served one term as governor of Georgia and president of the United States from 1977 to 1981.
The former president is widely revered for his championing of human rights. His brokering of the Camp David Accords in 1978 with Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin remains central to his legacy.
In his post-presidency years, Carter founded The Carter Center along with his wife, Rosalynn, in hopes of advancing world peace and health. The center has worked to advance democracy by monitoring foreign elections and reducing diseases in developing countries over the years.
Carter himself has been a longtime volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his efforts to push for peace across the globe.
President Joe Biden, a fellow Democrat and longtime admirer of Carter, has been advised of the former president's declining health and his decision to seek hospice care, an official told CNN. Biden is staying in close contact with the Carter family and the former president's close circle of advisers.
The Bidens traveled to Georgia to visit the Carters in 2021 -- on the 100th day of Biden's presidency.
Biden was one of the first US senators to endorse Carter in his 1976 presidential bid, according to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library.
Carter was in touch with President Donald Trump and his administration multiple times during the Republican's time in office.
In 2018, Carter said he received a briefing on North Korea and said he'd be willing to travel to the country on the Trump administration's behalf. He also wrote Trump a letter on US-China trade relations and spoke with him by phone in April 2019.
While the White House referred to the call as a "very good telephone conversation" and said that Trump "has always liked President Carter," the relationship deteriorated later that year when the Georgia Democrat called for a full investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and suggested it "would show that Trump didn't actually win the election in 2016." Carter later issued warnings about Trump's decision to halt funding to the World Health Organization amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mississippi Shooting Suspect Arrested After 6 Killed, Including Suspect's Ex-Wife, Sheriff Says
ARKABUTLA, Miss. -- Six people are dead and another was wounded Friday in a series of shootings in Tate County, Mississippi after a man opened fire on his ex-wife and potentially other family members, Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance told CNN.
The suspect, Richard Dale Crum, 52, was arrested after the alleged rampage and is facing charges of first-degree murder in connection with the case, the sheriff's office said. Additional charges are expected to be filed, the department said.
Authorities got the first 911 call around 11 a.m. ET after the suspect pulled into the parking lot of a store in Arkabutla, a small rural town in northern Mississippi, and fired into the car next to him where he fatally shot the driver, Lance said. Another person in the vehicle was not injured.
Lance said the suspected gunman went into the store then took off, driving to his ex-wife's home. Lance said the suspect shot and killed his ex-wife before striking her fiancé, who was also in the residence.
Deputies caught up to the suspect after finding a vehicle matching its description in front of a residence that authorities determined belonged to him, Lance said.
On a small road behind the suspect's home, authorities found two men who had been shot and killed. One was found on the road and the other was in a vehicle, Lance said.
Another two victims were found shot and killed in a house neighboring the suspect's home, Lance said. According to Lance, deputies believe the suspect might be related to the victims, a man and woman.
Lance said another person was injured in the shootings. That person was treated by emergency crews and not taken to a hospital for additional treatment, Lance said.
Deputies took the suspect into custody as he was trying to leave the scene near his house, Lance said.
Lance said deputies found several handguns and a shotgun in the suspect's car. The suspect is being held at the Tate County jail, according to Lance.
The victims have not been identified. Lance said a motive is unclear at this time.
CNN has not been able to determine if Crum has obtained an attorney.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is working with local law enforcement in the investigation, Bailey Martin, a spokesperson for the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation told CNN.
Gov. Tate Reeves said he'd been briefed on the shootings, explaining in a tweet that the suspect is believed to have acted alone.
"I will ensure that the full resources of the state are available to law enforcement as we continue to investigate the situation," Reeves said.
Tate County is in northwest Mississippi, about 30 minutes south of Memphis, Tennessee.
'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Jen Shah reports for prison sentence
Shah surrendered at Federal Prison Camp Bryan, about 100 miles northwest of downtown Houston, after pleading guilty to wire fraud.
"Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star Jen Shah arrived at a federal prison camp in Texas on Friday to begin her 6 1/2-year sentence for running a telemarketing scheme that targeted vulnerable, elderly victims, a prison spokesperson said.
The reality star surrendered at Federal Prison Camp Bryan, about 100 miles northwest of downtown Houston, after pleading guilty to a single count of wire fraud.
The facility is a minimum-security prison that lacks cells, barbed wires or fencing, which experts call “the gold standard” for serving time.
Inmates’ daily lives at federal prison camps are structured around work and programs, according to the Bureau of Prisons. When she’s not working, Shah will be able to have visitors, watch TV, play sports, do arts and crafts and attend religious services.
"Jen Shah’s resolve to make her victims whole and to turn her life around is unyielding," the reality TV star's attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said in a statement.
"She is committed to serving her sentence with courage and purpose, fueled by her desire to make amends for the hurt she has caused and to help others in her new community."
A federal judge in New York City last month ordered Shah to serve 78 months to face "the consequences of the many years she spent targeting vulnerable, elderly victims," U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said immediately after Shah's sentencing.
In her last public appearance, an emotional Shah apologized.
Shah claimed to be a humble daughter of immigrants, in stark contrast to the over-the-top, indulgent figure she appeared to be on the hit Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City."
“I have to come to terms that I have gone against these core values and I am deeply sorry for what I have done,” Shah said at her sentencing. “I want to apologize to all the victims and families, and I take full responsibility for the harm I caused and will pay full restitution to all of the victims.”
Shah is the wife of longtime University of Utah assistant football coach Sharrieff Shah, who oversees cornerbacks and special teams. They have two sons.
Chris Brown Reacts to Those Who ‘Still Hate’ Him Over Rihanna Assault, Names White Celebrities With
Chris Brown took to his Instagram Stories on Friday (Feb. 17) to seemingly respond to backlash he and Chloe Bailey received following the announcement that the duo will be collaborating on the upcoming track “How Does It Feel.”
“If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old please kiss my whole entire a–,” Brown wrote in an all-text Instagram Story, seemingly referring to the time he physically abused then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009 (although Brown was 19, not 17, at the time). The post is seemingly in response to fans who expressed disapproval of Bailey’s choice to collaborate with the “No Guidance” singer on social media.
“I’m f—ing 33,” Brown continued. “I’m so tired of y’all running with this narrative… you weird a– n—-s are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f— out each other in front of the world. But that’s ok? It’s entertainment? All y’all can suck my d— disrespectfully.”
The singer went on to ask where the “cancel culture” is toward white celebrities, sharing photos of stars who had faced assault allegations against them, including Mel Gibson, Nicolas Cage, Ozzy Osbourne, Charlie Sheen and more. “No more fake love from me… stay out my way or get ran over, simple as that,” Brown concluded. “None of you and I mean none of you n—-s can f— wit me.”
Ryan Seacrest Quits 'Live With Kelly And Ryan', Kelly Ripa's Husband Steps In As Replacement
Ryan Seacrest is quitting "Live With Kelly and Ryan" after almost six years and he will be replaced by Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos. Breaking the "bittersweet" news early into Thursday's February 16 episode of the long-running morning show, the 48-year-old presenter explained it had been a "tough, tough decision" to make, but he plans to focus on his commitment to hosting "American Idol".
"This is something that [Kelly] and I have been talking about for a long time, and it was a tough, tough decision. Last year we spoke, and I made the decision to make this my last season as co-host. What I plan to do is once 'American Idol' starts from Los Angeles later this spring, I'll head out to the West Coast and host that show," he said.
While Mark will be taking over as regular presenter, Ryan promised he will return to" guest host and fill in" at times. In a statement, Ryan praised working with Kelly, 52, as a career "highlight." He said, "Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career. She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other's lives, I will miss our mornings together."
"I also want to thank Michael Gelman and the entire staff and crew - we've made memories to last a lifetime, met some of the most incredible people and had the warmest welcome into the homes of so many viewers across America. It's been a memorable ride and now I'm excited to pass the baton to Kelly's 'real' husband, Mark [Consuelos]."
Meanwhile, Kelly - who joined "Live" in place of Kathie Lee Gifford in 2001, teaming up with Regis Philbin for 10 years and then Michael Strahan from 2012 to 2016 - paid tribute to her "dear friend." She said, "I'm so grateful to have spent the last six years beside my dear friend of too many decades to count and will miss starting my days with Ryan. Ryan's energy, passion and love for entertainment is one-of-a-kind."
Mark has previously filled in for Ryan on a number of occasions, but Kelly - the mother of his children Mark, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 19 - has previously joked it was "weird" sharing the screen with the "Riverdale" star. She joked during a 2020 episode, "It's so weird when you're here because I just saw you at home. Ryan, I see all the time, of course, but I never leave him and then go to work and there he is."
Actress and Star Stella Stevens Died Following Battle With Alzheimer's
"The Nutty Professor" actress Stella Stevens has passed away aged 84 after an Alzheimer's battle. The actress, who starred alongside Elvis Presley and Jerry Lewis in her heyday as a screen siren, died after a long struggle with dementia.
Her actor-producer son Andrew Stevens confirmed the sad news to Deadline on Friday, February 17. Andrew also told The Hollywood Reporter the actress "had been in hospice for quite some time with Stage 7 Alzheimer's."
Stella worked alongside Elvis in "Girls! Girls! Girls!" and played Jerry Lewis' dream girl in 1063's "The Nutty Professor", later remade with Eddie Murphy. Her other best-known roles include as the lippy wife of Ernest Borgnine in "The Poseidon Adventure", which was among the biggest movie hits of the 1970s.
Born 1 October, 1938, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, Stella also had a long TV career, appearing in dozens of TV movies and guest-starring in more than 40 series. For two seasons in the early 1980s, she starred in the primetime soap "Flamingo Road" and had recurring roles in "Santa Barbara" and "General Hospital".
She was famously a former Playboy centrefold from January 1960, and was modelling in her hometown when she was given a screen test by 20th Century Fox. Stella is said to have come to regret her association with Playboy magazine.
She said, "I did the best I could with the tools I had and the opportunities given me. I was a divorced mom with a toddler by the time I was 17. And Playboy did as much harm as it helped. But in spite of that rough start, I did OK."
Along with son Andrew, she is survived by her grandchildren Amelia, Aubrey, and Samuel. Her rock guitarist partner of almost 40 years Bob Kulick - the brother of Kiss' Bruce Kulick - died in 2020 aged 70.
Megan Thee Stallion Reemerges At Surprise Birthday Party
The “Savage” rapper has kept a low profile in the wake of the Tory Lanez shooting trial and guilty verdict last year, but she did step out to celebrate her 28th birthday on Wednesday night.
A clip posted to social media shows Megan walking in to her surprise party. She appeared to be in good spirits as her friends greeted her during the private bash.
“Wow!” said a stunned Megan as she walked into the room.
Fans were happy to see her back out and enjoying herself. “So happy to see her out n about and doing well. Hope she’s continuing to get all the love support she deserves,” tweeted one, while another added, “WE MISS YOU MEGAN.”
Megan hasn’t posted on social media since late November, just weeks before the trial began. Her last public appearance was when she took the stand in December to testify that Tory Lanez shot her.
On Dec. 23, following a two-week trial, Lanez was found guilty on three counts in the July 2020 shooting. He faces up to 22 years in prison and deportation when he is sentenced on Feb. 28. Tory has hired Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight’s former lawyer David Kenner and plans to file a motion for a new trial.
Earlier in the week, Megan celebrated Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine, who shared a photo of them taking shots in heart-shaped glasses.
Ice-T becomes hip hop's latest OG honored with Hollywood Walk of Fame star
Ice-T has officially landed among the stars. On Friday (Feb. 17), the gangsta rap pioneer was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He was joined by Ice Cube, Chuck D, Russell Simmons, Mike Epps and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” co-star Mariska Hargitay, as well as the series’ creator Dick Wolf. His wife, Coco Austin, and his three children, daughters LeTesha and Chanel Marrow and son Tracy Marrow Jr., were also in tow for the monumental accomplishment.
During his speech, Ice-T said, “I never thought I would get a star — really? I mean, the way my life was going, it was, ‘What can we come up in Hollywood and steal?’ We were really out here causing real problems, and this was just out of the question. Show business was just out of the question.”
Yet, there he was, a day after celebrating his 65th birthday, literally cementing his name in Hollywood’s history as a decorated artist whose imprint contributed to hip hop culture as well as the landscape on the big and small screen. The five-point status symbol is the 2,747th one to be placed along the famed boulevard since the landmark’s inception in 1958.
The OG launched his rap career in 1983 with a handful of singles, and by 1987, he had released his first album, Rhyme Pays. He touts multiple successful hip hop albums such as Power, The Iceberg/Freedom of Speech…Just Watch What You Say and O.G. Original Gangster, to name a few, as well as several hard metal albums with his group Body Count.
In a Feb. 16 interview with Variety, Ice-T reflected on how his decades-long career has resulted in him becoming a global star. “When I started making records, I didn’t come into the music business thinking I would be a star,” he started. “I was just seeing if I could get a fan base. I didn’t want to be the best rapper. I just wanted to be mentioned among the greats: LL Cool J, Run-DMC. Getting any ‘star’ was way out of reach.”
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade to be honored at 2023 NAACP Image Awards

According to a statement, the coveted President’s Award is bestowed upon individuals who show exemplary leadership with special achievements and distinguished public service. The Wades will join the ranks of past recipients, including this year’s Super Bowl halftime performer, Rihanna; boxing legend Muhammad Ali; rapper, activist and entrepreneur Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter and broadcast journalist Soledad O’Brien, to name a few. The event is also in association with BET. Derrick Johnson, President and CEO of the NAACP, expressed his happiness for the honor. “We’re thrilled to present this award to Gabrielle Union-Wade and Dwyane Wade, who together have consistently utilized their platforms to advance social justice and raise awareness to the inequalities existing in our country,” he shared.
“We’re proud to recognize the couple’s tireless humanitarian work as they continue to advocate for equality and acceptance for all,” Johnson continued. Scott Mills, President & CEO, BET, also chimed in on why they deserved to be recognized: “Gabrielle Union-Wade and Dwyane Wade are exemplary in their purpose-driven leadership and use of their collective platforms for good. This year’s recipients of the NAACP President’s Award are not just a timely signifier of the issues that matter most to the community; they are a testament to what is possible when one commits themselves to advancement in those areas. It is a great honor for BET to join the NAACP to amplify these issues and celebrate the leaders doing the work to drive change in our community.”
The “Being Mary Jane” actress and three-time NBA Champion have been making remarkable strides for the LGBTQ community and have also greatly assisted with promoting racial justice. Through The Wade Family Foundation, they help marginalized communities by raising money to aid with healthcare and end bullying and discrimination in schools. The NAACP, which also helps those in need, was founded in 1909 to combat racial injustice throughout the United States. According to its website, they are “the largest and most pre-eminent civil rights organization in the nation.”
Pink Says ‘Lady Marmalade’ Music Video Wasn’t ‘Fun to Make’ Amid Christina Aguilera Feud
It seems like Pink didn’t find her “soul sistas” on the set of 2001’s “Lady Marmalade.”
They Went There! The Biggest Celeb Feuds of All Time
When the “So What” songstress, 43, ranked her 12 favorite music videos for BuzzFeed UK, she immediately ranked the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack hit in the last position.
“It wasn’t very fun to make,” Pink told the British outlet in an interview published on Friday, February 17. “I’m all about fun and it was, like, a lot of fuss and there were some personalities. Kim and Mya were nice!”
The Pennsylvania native (whose real name is Alecia Moore) had teamed up with Lil’ Kim, Mya and Christina Aguilera to cover LaBelle’s 1974 single. The 2001 version — performed for Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge! movie — went on to score a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
While their “Lady Marmalade” iteration became an iconic recording in itself, it soon ignited a bitter behind-the-scenes rivalry over which pop diva would sing certain parts of the song.
“[Label executive] Ron Fair walked in. He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part,’” Pink alleged in her VH1 Behind the Music special, which aired in 2009. “And I stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f–king meeting’s about.’”
The bad blood between Pink and Aguilera, now 42, escalated after the video wrapped.
“We were super young and super new at the whole [fame] thing,” the “What About Us” singer said during an October 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, alleging the Burlesque actress once “swung on me” in a club. “I think I’m an alpha and she’s an alpha, and I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We just are very different.”
Aguilera, however, later denied to Andy Cohen that they got into a physical altercation because Pink “could beat my a—.”
“I’ve seen her Behind the Music [special] and I know she had some feelings or whatever about how the recording of ‘Lady Marmalade’ went down and all that,” the “Genie in a Bottle” performer claimed during a January 2019 episode of WWHL. “I know [during] the actual video, she intimidated me a lot because she was heckling me in the audience behind the director, and I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ But, that’s what she did back then. She’s a different person now.”
Both vocalists later publicly squashed the beef prior to Pink’s February comments.
“She’s so talented, and, deep down, I’ve had bad days too. She’s a really sweet person. We made up on The Voice,” Pink, who shares two children with husband Carey Hart, explained during her 2017 Bravo appearance. “I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years. We became moms. We grew up. We hugged it out. It’s that simple. I feel so good about that.”
Aguilera, for her part, is also a mother of two. She shares son Max, 15, with ex Jordan Bratman and daughter Summer, 8, with fiancé Matthew Rutler.
Lizzo To Join ‘The Simpsons’ Cast On Season 34 Finale
Lizzo’s legion of Lizzbians should prepare for the “About Damn Time,” vocalist to make her debut on Matt Groening’s acclaimed sitcom The Simpsons.
It would appear as though Lizzo seemingly manifested the opportunity, as she shared her impressive Marge Simpson Halloween costume last October on Instagram. Now, the Atlantic Records signee will make things official, according to Entertainment Weekly, as Lizzo will guest-star in the season 34 finale of the show.
Lizzo appeared to be extremely excited about her upcoming part for the show and eagerly shared a preview of her likeness in The Simpsons’ universe in an IG post on February 16.
“SEE YOU IN SPRINGFIELD B***CH,” she wrote in all caps on the illustration produced by none other than the show creator Groening himself.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. In addition to the character created in her likeness, Lizzo will also voice a second role in the episode — which will see her personify an adorable, green happy little elf doll. Additionally, new music will also be attached to the episode, which will air in May.
Executive producer for the Fox series, Tim Long and Flight of the Conchords’ actor Bret McKenzie wrote lyrics and a melody to a song that Long says Lizzo, “sang the hell out of.”
“The song is called, ‘It Was Marge, Bitch,’ and the bitch in question is Homer,” said Long. He continued, “I can’t give you too much context without giving you too much story, but it is really in her wheelhouse — and she sang the hell out of it.” Lizzo also reportedly brought out her weapon of choice, her flute, during the recording session for the song and episode.
Inspired by the classic short stories An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge by Ambrose Bierce and The Secret Miracle by Jorge Luis Borges, the plot of The Simpsons’ season finale episode is centered around time. Entitled “Homer’s Adventure Through the Windshield Glass” the entire episode takes place over the course of a few seconds. During these key moments, Homer Simpson is flying through the air after being ejected through the windshield of his car during an accident.
Along with her upcoming role in the series, Lizzo has recently expanded her acting portfolio tenfold. She guest-hosted the skit comedy show Saturday Night Live last December following the March premiere of her Amazon Prime documentary. The Grammy Award-winner also worked on multiple films in 2019 including Hustlers, Tattooed Love and The Angry Birds Movie 2.

Several reports have confirmed that famed actor Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with dementia after being diagnosed with aphasia las year.
“Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research,” Willis’ family said in a statement.
“Bruce always believed in using his voice in the world to help others, and to raise awareness about important issues both publicly and privately,” his family’s statement continued. “We know in our hearts that – if he could today – he would want to respond by bringing global attention and a connectedness with those who are also dealing with this debilitating disease and how it impacts so many individuals and their families.”
The Die Hard actor has been diagnosed with a particular type of dementia called frontotemporal dementia or FTD. Frontotemporal dementia is an “umbrella term for a group of brain disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. These areas of the brain are generally associated with personality, behavior and language,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

Drake And 21 Savage Settle Lawsuit Over Fake Vogue Cover
Drake and 21 Savage have reached a settlement with Condé Nast over the fake Vogue cover they used to promote Her Loss.
The duo settled out of court and agreed to pay an undisclosed monetary amount to the magazine’s publisher, who was seeking at least $4 million in damages. The agreement also includes a permanent injunction barring any further use of the Vogue trademarks.
In an email obtained by Billboard, Condé Nast general counsel William Bowes said the company was “glad to put this matter behind us” and revealed why the publisher decided to take legal action against the rappers.
“As a creative company, we of course understand our brands may from time to time be referenced in other creative works,” Bowes said. “In this instance, however, it was clear to us that Drake and 21 Savage leveraged Vogue‘s reputation for their own commercial purposes and, in the process, confused audiences who trust Vogue as the authoritative voice on fashion and culture.”
Just days before the release of their joint album Her Loss, Drake posted a photo of him and Savage on what appeared to be the October 2022 cover of Vogue, while personally thanking the magazine’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for the opportunity.
“Me and my brother on newsstands tomorrow!!” Drake wrote in his Instagram caption. “Thanks @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and support on this historic moment.”
They also printed up fake magazines containing doctored images from the actual October issue of Vogue and plastered the streets with the fake cover.
Condé Nast sued the duo for $4 million, calling the stunt a “flagrant infringement” of Vogue‘s trademark rights and accusing them of exploiting the “tremendous value that a cover feature in Vogue magazine carries.”
A federal judge issued a temporary restraining order forcing them to remove all current and future displays of the fake magazine, saying it was “misleading consumers” and “deceiving the public.”
The fake Vogue cover was part of Drake and 21’s staged media campaign to promote Her Loss, which included a fake “SNL” performance and Howard Stern interview.
72-Year-Old Stole Nearly $600k From Church Manager Job To Support Her Gambling Habit
An elderly woman will spend time in prison for embezzling nearly $600,000 from a church that entrusted her with their funds.
As Fox News reports, Marie Carson worked at Saint Matthew Catholic Church and School from 2008 to 2021 as a business manager. She was responsible for overseeing the church’s finances. In her role, the now 72-year-old was the sole handler of funds going in and out of the parish. During her 13-year career, prosecutors say Carson stole roughly $573,836.59 from the church’s business accounts by transferring the funds to her personal bank account.
The scheme was uncovered in November 2021 while Carson was on leave. The interim business manager discovered several transfers into suspicious-looking accounts that had no association with the church. Looking further into the transactions, the staff member found that over $289,000 was transferred into an account that was in the church’s name, though they did not authorize it. Carson was able to steal the money by keeping fraudulent recordkeeping, seemingly accounting for the funds.
The Department of Justice says Carson and her husband spent a large portion of the money on their extensive gambling habit and vacations. For her brazen actions, Carson will spend the next two years behind bars. Additionally, she will serve two years of probation. The church was able to receive the funds back via an insurance policy that covers fraud. Still, Carson must also pay back the total amount she was convicted of taking.
