#FASHIONFAB: Pucci's Global Tribe Is Assembling: Anyiel, Felice, and Malika for Holiday 2022/23

Photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch [IG] captures models Anyiel Majok, Felice Nova Noordhoff, and Malika Louback in the Emilio Pucci Holiday 2022/23 campaign ‘La Famiglia.

Family includes all the members of your tribe, even if you aren’t cousins, sisters and brothers. All humans on earth share 99.9 percent identical genetic makeup, and Pucci seems poised to run with this concept.

Judging by the model lineup here — and a review of recent Pucci ads and La Famiglia’ social media posts — Miceli is not paying lip-service to people and places of color in marketing or design.

Many of our young people don’t know that in the 1970s, women across the Arab world — including Afghanistan — dressed very differently. I daresay that Pucci has a history with these women if I look at old Vogues.

Most of these clothes are modest in their current state or are easily modified to be really fashionable while also honoring Islam.

#RHOA: Eva Marcille Explains Why She Didn’t Attend Porsha Williams’ Wedding To Simon Guobadia

If you’ve been missing a little dose of Eva Marcille, aka Eva The Diva, she’s back and better than ever.

The former America’s Next Top Model winner appeared on the Real Housewives of Atlanta as a friend back in Season 10 before snatching a peach and becoming a full-time Housewife for Seasons 11 and 12. During her last season, Eva bumped heads along the way with former RHOA vet Porsha Williams.

Eva, whose known to throw MAJOR shade here and there, definitely threw shade towards P Willy (and her baby) after she said her child looked like Dennis McKinley with “a bow.” She also suggested that Porsha go and “clean up” some of the blogs that had reported about the cheating allegations, among other things.

At the Season 12 reunion… Whew. Porsha lit Eva up, and it was NOT a pretty sight. Yes, you’re remembering correctly. This is the year Porsha told Eva her lady parts were “aged hens” and “social distancing.” I truly get it. I’d be embarassased with that read if I were Eva, too.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Eva, who just appeared on the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2, answered a fan question that asked whether or not she’d been invited to Porsha’s wedding. Thanks to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, we fans get to relive the shady interaction over and over.

“There’s no relationship, so there’s a no,” she said. And in typical Eva fashion, she added, “But Dennis is doing great.” After a shady interaction, Andy Cohen asked Eva what led to the co-stars falling out before learning Eva found out they weren’t friends by “watching the show.”

“Kenya [Moore], Kandi [Burruss], Cynthia [Bailey], those are my girls,” she said. “Porsha I thought was my friend, but I guess that was a singular thought. It was not mutual; there was no reciprocity there,” she added.

Well, I mean, Eva… you were also just as shady. Let’s be real here. Your comment about Dennis and baby Pilar Jhena was shady. The group took it as shade, and so did your girl Kandi — which is why she ran it back to Porsha the way that she did.

Although Eva hasn’t been on RHOA in a little while, the new and improved Eva The Diva we saw on RHUGT  is one I’m more than interested in seeing on my screen again. Who knows, maybe Bravo can make this happen!

#HipHopNews: Meek Mill Responds After Being Mocked By Kanye West

After being mocked by Ye during a Clubhouse chat over the weekend, the Philly rapper has responded. In a series of tweets on Sunday, Meek said that Ye has lost his mind and has no dignity left.

“Never lost my mind for fame or money … I still have my family …my people respect me,” he wrote before touting his accomplishments including his REFORM Alliance. “I’m freeing people from prison… I’m doing community service all month with children up close and personal .. I’m chilling wit my son and his friends today.. y’all on clubhouse at 50 lol.”

He continued to take shots at Ye, who is 45, for participating in a Clubhouse chat with Wack 100 instead of doing more productive things with his time.

“I mean 50 on clubhouse drawing and not doing any positive wit ya following at that age is hittttt… you can be old or young on clubhouse it’s a place to connect!” he added.

This comes after Ye laughed at Meek for speaking out against him in the wake of his “White Lives Matter” shirt controversy.

“What made somebody think Meek Mills could say something to me?” Ye said on Clubhouse. “Yo, this is the funniest thing of everything. Yo, man, I’m about to start crying laughing.”

Back in October, Meek said he can no longer sit back and watch Ye go against his own.

“It hurts my heart to even know some of y’all this crazy and lame… ion need no verses from no ni**as because I been hot since 13,” he said. “Speaking from a ni**a that been buying support ye since he came out .. but what you be doing for fame driving you crazy … look how hard you came at me ni**as know I’m vocal it’s like you hate your own people.”

#RIP: Stephen 'Twitch' Boss, SYTYCD Runner-Up and Ellen Staple, Has Died at 40

Stephen “tWitch” Boss, a staple of So You Think You Can Dance and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, died by suicide on Tuesday, TVLine has confirmed. He was 40.

As first reported by TMZ, Boss’ wife Allison Holker contacted the Los Angeles Police Department after Boss suspiciously left home without his car. Police later responded to a call about a shooting at a Los Angeles hotel, where Boss was reportedly found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker said in a statement to People. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt.

“I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory,” her statement continued. “We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

Boss broke out as a contestant on Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2008, where he impressed both viewers and judges with his unique hip-hop performances and ultimately finished in second place. Since his days as a competitor on the series, Boss returned to SYTYCD in various capacities, including as a judge alongside JoJo Siwa and Leah Remini on the just-concluded Season 17.

In 2014, Boss began a long stint as guest DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, a role he filled until the talk show concluded in May of this year. He also served as an executive producer on the series since 2020.

Boss is survived by Holker — a fellow SYTYCD alum with whom he recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary — and their children Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.

Rihanna Earns First Golden Globe Nomination For 'Lift Me Up'

Rihanna can add Golden Globe nominee to her résumé. The singer has been nominated for her first Golden Globe for “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The song earned a nod for Original Song – Motion Picture at the 2023 ceremony, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced on Monday.

Rihanna is up against Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick and Taylor Swift’s “Carolina” from Where the Crawdads Sing. Other nominees in the category include “Ciao Papa” from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and “Naatu Naatu” from RRR.

“Lift Me Up,” which serves as a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, appears during the end credits of the sequel to the 2018 Marvel superhero blockbuster.

Taking to Twitter, Rihanna reacted to the exciting news. “God be showin out! 🙏🏿❤️ @goldenglobes,” she wrote.

“Lift Me Up,” co-written by Tems, Ludwig Göransson, and Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler, marks the first music from Rihanna in six years. She also contributed a second song, “Born Again,” for the soundtrack.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Coogler revealed how they were able to land the superstar for the soundtrack. “Rihanna, man, we knew she was at a point in her life as well where she was focusing on different things–focused on business, motherhood, which is a big theme in our film. We were holding out hope that maybe it could work out and boy did it for this song,” he said.

Rihanna is setting the stage for her long-awaited comeback. She will headline the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show in February amid the impending release of her ninth studio album.

Hosted by Jerrod Carmichael, the 80th Golden Globe Awards will air Tuesday, Jan. 10, on NBC.

Michael B. Jordan Becomes Part Owner Of English Soccer Team AFC Bournemouth

Actor, producer, and director Michael B. Jordan is now part owner of the English soccer team AFC Bournemouth.

A statement from the Premier League club Tuesday morning announced that a deal had closed, finalizing its sale to a partnership led by American businessman Bill Foley and a minority ownership group led by Jordan.

Foley is best known as the owner of the NHL franchise Vegas Golden Knights, the first major league professional team in Las Vegas. However, this is Jordan’s first foray into professional sports ownership.

AFC Bournemouth has said Foley will assume the role of club Chairman with immediate effect, and he will work closely with Jordan and his business partner Nullah Sarker in areas including “global marketing and internationalization of the club.”

Foley’s takeover is the latest American investment into the Premier League after a group led by Todd Boehly, owner of the LA Dodgers, took over the London-based side Chelsea in May. Jordan is also the latest high-profile Hollywood star to turn their business interests toward English soccer.

In February 2021, Ryan Reynolds and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia actor Rob McElhenney completed their takeover of Welsh soccer club Wrexham. Reynolds and McElhenney have since been the subject of an FX docuseries titled Welcome to Wrexham, which chronicled their purchase of the club.

AFC Bournemouth is based on the south coast of England and competes in the Premier League, England’s top league. The club is currently 14th in the Premier League table and resumes its campaign after the World Cup break when they travel to Chelsea on 27 December.

The club statement says Foley will attend the team’s next home match against Crystal Palace on boxing day. It’s unclear whether Jordan will also be in attendance. Early next year, Jordan will make his directorial with Creed 3. He also stars in the film alongside Jonathan Majors.

Marsai Martin reveals her surgery that removed an ovarian cyst that she has had ‘Constant Pain’ for Years

Marsai Martin shared an update about her health with fans on Instagram over the weekend. The 18-year-old actress revealed she recently had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst Saturday, Dec. 10. The news was shared on her Instagram story in a short video, captured by The Shade Room. It shows a doctor pushing the ‘black-ish” star around on a hospital gurney.

“If u missed my Live, long story short I had surgery for my large ovarian cyst that gave me constant pain for 4+ years. I really don’t remember any of this shit cause of the anesthesia lol,” Martin wrote over the clip. “But I will say, I am very grateful to have family and educators by my side in support of this process.”

The “Little” star went on to explain why she felt compelled to share the news with the world. She said, “The only reason I’m sharing is so I can hopefully spread awareness and share my experience to the young women out there that may be going through the same thing or have difficult menstrual cycles. You are not alone, Listen to your body. It always shows you signs. Health is wealth.”

On Sunday, Dec. 11, Martin gave fans another update on her story that indicated she was fully recovered. Hollywood’s youngest executive producer shared a photo of herself getting her hair and makeup done while drinking a smoothie.

“Thank y’all for all the love. The procedure was 10 days ago, and I’m feeling fine,” Martin added. “I also appreciate the stories from folks that have been through the same thing! but I’m back, and I’m betta.”

Fans in The Shade Room’s comments section wrote get-well messages and prayers to Martin. However, a vast majority of the women commentators who had the same surgery began sharing their personal experiences.

“That cyst pain is no joke it was the worst pain I ever experienced !!” wrote “Love and Hip Hop: Miami” star Joy Young. “Mine was the size of a grapefruit!! Thank god for those doctors that removed mine. hopefully, I never experience that again.”

A second individual said, “More awareness needs to be brought to PCOS, especially in the black and brown communities it’s becoming too frequent that more and more of us are battling this, and some are dealing with this too young.”

One final social media user added, “The real epidemic is the amount of girls and women enduring cysts/fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS on a daily basis and still expected to function normally. My first surgery was at 21 to remove cysts, only to find out they were there due to endometriosis. I’m sorry she has had to deal with it this long but hopefully she can help others out!”

The probability of Black women developing an ovarian cyst reportedly is much more common than other races. They “are fluid-filled sacs that form in or on one your ovaries,” according to the Black Women’s Health Imperative.

The Black Women’s Health Imperative website reports that most women develop these cysts at various times in their lives, noting that some are usually harmless. However, a painful period could be the first of many symptoms of conditions that could led to life-long issues for a woman’s reproductive system. Some of the most common among Black women are PCOS, uterine fibroids and endometriosis.

PCOS occurs when a woman’s ovaries produce more male hormones than female hormones. It can cause hair thinning, weight gain, bad acne and possible infertility. Birth control pills will help regulate a woman’s period schedule and decrease the effect of symptoms.

BWHI’s research also shows that Black women with PCOS experience hirsutism, which is excessive hair growth in areas on the face, body, chest and stomach. There’s also a high risk of being diagnosed with a combination of conditions like heart disease, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.. Early diagnosis is recommended to avoid or reduce any possible life-long effects.

Uterine fibroids reportedly affect 80 percent of America’s Black women. Former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has publicly opened up about her personal battle with large fibroids she discovered after a miscarriage and while pregnant with her daughter. In doing her own research, the reality star said she learned that “depending on the size of them, they can outgrow your fetus.”

Actress and mom of two Tia Mowry has also shared details about her struggle with infertility after her endometriosis diagnosis. It’s a common gynecological condition involving the lining of the uterus growing outside the uterus. It affects more than 11 percent of women in America between the ages of 15 and 44. “However, Black women are more likely to be misdiagnosed, with providers thinking pain is due to something else,” according to the BWHI website.

Team Blake’s Bryce Leatherwood Wins Season 22 Of ‘The Voice’

Team Blake’s Bryce Leatherwood has been crowned the season 22 winner of NBC’s The Voice.

On Tuesday, December 13, the popular singing competition show revealed that the Cherokee County native placed first, taking home the title of The Voice.

Following his Leatherwood’s big win, Shelton took to social media to celebrate.

“YOUR SEASON 22 @nbcthevoice WINNER EVERYBODY!!!! BRYCE LEATHERWOOD!!!! I’m such a proud coach.. @leatherwood222, you are so damn deserving of this. Thank you America and GET READY WORLD!!! #TeamBlake”

Leatherwood’s win marks coach Blake Shelton’s ninth win during his 22 seasons as a coach on The Voice. Team Blake’s last win on The Voice was during Season 20 of The Voice in 2021 when Cam Anthony took home the title.

The 22-year-old joins previous Team Blake winners Cam Anthony, Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, Craig Wayne Boyd, Sundance Head and Chloe Kohanski. Shelton holds the title of the most wins for any coach on The Voice.

Prior to being named the winner, Leatherwood took to the stage to perform alongside his coach Blake Shelton. The standout contestant and country superstar joined forces to perform the “Hillbilly Bone,” a duet that originally features Shelton and Trace Adkins.

Joined by a backing band and several dancers, Leatherwood and Shelton traded verses to the chart-topping country hit and at times flawlessly blended their vocals.

“We all got a hillbilly bone down deep inside / No matter where you from you just can’t hide it / And when the band starts banging and the fiddle saws / You can’t help but a hollerin’, Yee Haw! / When you see them pretty little country queens / Man you got to admit that’s in them genes / Aren’t nothing wrong, just gettin’ on your / Hillbilly bone-ba-bone-ba-bone-bone,” Leatherwood and Shelton sang in perfect sync on the tune’s chorus.

“I always wanted to sing a bone song with Bryce on NBC,” Shelton shouted during their duet. Leatherwood added, “I’ve always wanted to sing a song with Blake Shelton!”

Leatherwood also shared what lesson he learned from his coach during his time on the show.

“The biggest lesson I’ll take away is, be myself, be yourself and be who you are. Number two, have fun, man. We’re all here and this is the greatest experience I’ve had in my life,” Leatherwood shared of Shelton before being named the winner.

Throughout Season 22 of The Voice, Leatherwood has remained a fan-favorite contestant since he first took to the NBC studios stage during his blind audition, where he performed a cover of Conway Twitty’s “Goodbye Time.”

Bryce Leatherwood has also continuously impressed The Voice coaches (Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Camila Cabello) since his blind audition, where he blew away Blake Shelton with his vocal abilities.

Shelton has even compared Leatherwood’s vocals to “the King of Country Music,” George Strait. “Bryce, you’re 22, and I don’t know how much experience you have onstage,” Shelton previously gushed. ”Seems like you’ve got about 40 years…. You’re one of those guys that’s like George Strait. You deliver and it’s solid.”

Leatherwood has showcased his southern drawl on the show with covers of Brooks & Dunn’s “Red Dirt Road,” George Strait’s “Amarillo by Morning,” Morgan Wallen’s “Sand In My Boots,” Travis Tritt’s “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” and more.

The season 22 finale of NBC’s The Voice aired live from Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening (Dec. 13) at 9/8c on NBC and will air again tomorrow (Dec. 14) on Peacock.

Garcelle Beauvais Shoots Her Shot At GMA's Newest Anchor DeMarco Morgan

Garcelle Beauvais might have a crush on "Good Morning America" newest anchor, DeMarco Morgan. "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star was caught shooting her shot at DeMarco on Saturday, December 10.

Making use of Twitter, Garcelle was quote-retweeting an article from Pop Crave that said he "will be filling in for T. J. Holmes" after the latter and Amy Robach were pulled from "GMA" due to their alleged secret romance. In her own message, the Bravo personality simply wrote, "Well hello," adding a smiling emoji.

DeMarco has been a journalist for more than 20 years and was hired by ABC News last month. The 44-year-old will be filling T.J.'s seat on " GMA3: What You Need to Know" after Stephanie Ramos and Gio Benitez replaced the latter and Amy in the show's Friday episode.

ABC News took Robach and T.J. Holmes off the air after their alleged secret romance was exposed to the public. ABC News' President Kim Godwin made the decision to temporarily bench the two anchors after their affair scandal caused "internal and external distraction."

Kim told staffers about the move during an internal call on December 5. "I am going to take Amy and T.J. off the air while we figure this out," he announced. "While the relationship is not a violation of company policy, I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization."

Kim explained, "These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of is-the people here at ABC."

Sam Smith Shocks Tourists At Former Royal Residence With His Raunchy Music Video Shoot

Sam Smith left visitors at a former royal residence stunned by shooting a raunchy music video. The 30-year-old singer - who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns - shocked guests at Ashridge House in Hertfordshire by filming an X-rated video that featured drag queens and scantily-clad men in trunks.

Previously used by Tudor monarchs Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, the country house is now a tourist attraction. "They had hired part of the house completely but the gardens and other areas were still open to the public," an onlooker told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column.

"There were plenty of older folk enjoying a walk in the grounds when a load of geezers in leather turned up in all sorts. It probably gave a few of them a heart attack. They were absolutely shocked. Some of the staff at the house had to try to usher the dancers through discretely, and move the visitors through another part of the estate to avoid creating a scene. It was very funny."

Sam recently suggested that it was "still hard to be queer" despite all of the success they have achieved in the music industry and explained how they are still harassed on the street sometimes. The "Unholy" hitmaker said, "Everything is moving forward in a wonderful way."

"But there is realities that are quite hard to swallow when it comes to the stats of the countries, where it's still illegal and it is hard. It's still hard to be queer. There's still backlash. I still get things said to me on the street, even now. The weirdest thing is you can be famous, you can be a pop star and you still get it."

Cher Reflects on Late Mother Georgia Holt's Final Moments: 'She Was in So Much Pain'

Cher is opening up about her last moments with her mother, Georgia Holt.

The 76-year-old musician shared the news of her mother's death on Saturday. Holt was 96.

On Tuesday, Cher revealed more about her mother's condition, writing on Twitter, "The truth…. She's been Sick, &rallying, she then got bad. She was in so much pain."

Cher added, "Finally she coded on [the] way to Hosp. By time we Got to Hosp….The Woman who Who Was MY KICK ASS MOM was No long[er] Here."

Holt's death came three months after the music icon revealed on the social media platform that her mother was hospitalized with pneumonia in September.

"Sorry I've Been Mia. Mom's Been Sick Off & On. She Just Got Out Of Hosp. She Had Pneumonia," the "Believe" singer wrote at the time, adding in a follow-up tweet: "She's Getting Better."

Cher previously opened up about her mother's health when she told PEOPLE that she would get tested for COVID "all the time" and tried to be "very careful" with her elderly mother amid the 2020 holiday season.

"We have a little bubble that we've had all this time," she said. "We wear masks, and there's not very many of us. It's my sister, my brother-in-law, my mom, my assistant. And we stay far apart from each other."

She added: "I have to be careful too because I have asthma. ... I have different health problems."

When asked about her childhood memories with her mother, Cher said she remembered Holt and her friends being "so beautiful," with Holt herself being an "amazing dresser." Since Cher was "really strong-headed," she and Holt "fought a lot."

"I did a couple of things like running away when I was 11," Cher told PEOPLE at the time. "I hopped a train with my friends. I was just very adventurous — but never disrespectful. She wouldn't have put up with that."

Holt — an actress, model and singer — was born in Arkansas in 1926 as the daughter of 13-year-old Lynda Inez Gulley and 21-year-old Roy Malloy Crouch.

She eventually landed roles in film and on television after moving to Los Angeles, from 1950's Watch the Birdie to I Love Lucy. She also made appearances on The Mike Douglas Show and The Merv Griffin Show in 1979 and 1980, eventually releasing her debut album Honky Tonk Woman in 2013, which she recorded in the '80s.

Patty Jenkins denies walking away from Wonder Woman 3, addresses Rogue Squadron delay

Looks like we really need Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth right about now with all the back and forth about the future of the franchise.

Director Patty Jenkins is refuting recent reports that she walked away from the third installment of the Amazonian princess's big screen adventures, saying in a statement posted to Twitter that "there was nothing I could do to move anything forward."

Jenkins wrote a letter addressing the controversy and thanking star Gal Gadot, original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter, and the fans of the comic book legend, while giving an update on her other big franchise film, the Star Wars spin-off Rogue Squadron.

James Gunn, director of The Suicide Squad and the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy series, was recently named co-chair of DC Films alongside producer Peter Safran and the pair have been figuring out the future of the heroes therein.

A story from The Hollywood Reporter alleged DC was not moving ahead with Jenkins' Wonder Woman 3 and the status of Gadot's tenure as the titular heroine was still up in the air. Meanwhile, a long-awaited Man of Steel sequel starring Henry Cavill's Superman may also be dead in the water, even though Cavill recently reprised the role in the post-credits scene for Black Adam.

Following the THR report, a story from The Wrap claimed Jenkins walked away from Wonder Woman 3 after her script treatment was rejected, spurring Jenkins to issue her Twitter statement.

"When there started being backlash about WW3 not happening, the attractive clickbait false story that it was me who killed it or walked away started to spread," Jenkins wrote. "This simply is not true. I never walked away. I was open to considering anything asked of me. It was my understanding there was nothing I could do to move anything forward at this time. DC is obviously buried in changes they are having to make, so I understand these decisions are difficult right now."

Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment, however, Gunn did reply to Jenkins' post, tweeting, "I can attest that all of Peter and my interactions with you were only pleasant and professional."

Confusing things further, the stars of these superhero flicks have been announcing their returns seemingly independent of the studio's whims, with Gadot and Cavill both confirming that their Wonder Woman and Superman, respectively, would fly again. And Dwayne Johnson has been desperately trying to keep Black Adam's flame alive, despite relatively mild-mannered box office returns.

While the DC universe is apparently crumbling at the seams, Jenkins addressed her involvement with a galaxy far, far away. There's been little in the way of updates since Disney announced Jenkins would be helming Rogue Squardon, an intergalactic adventure focusing on a "new generation of starfighter pilots," back in December 2020. But the director said she's still attached to the project, thought she doesn't know whether it will happen.

"I originally left Rogue Squadron after a long and productive development process when it became clear it couldn't happen soon enough and I did not want to delay WW3 any further," Jenkins shared. "When I did, Lucasfilm asked me to consider coming back to RS after WW3, which I was honored to do, so I agreed. They made a new deal with me. In fact, I am still on it and that project has been in active development ever since. I don't know if it will happen or not. We never do until the development process is complete, but I look forward to its potential ahead."

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2022 Christmas card revealed

On Tuesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a new photo of their family — including their kids Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4 — for their 2022 Christmas card.

“Sharing a new picture of the family for this year’s Christmas card!” they captioned the new snap, posted on their social media account.

The picture, which was shot by Matt Porteous earlier this year at their home in Norfolk, England, shows the family of five holding hands as they take a stroll outside in their casual outfits.

William, 40 and Middleton, also 40, wore blue jeans with long-sleeved shirts, while their children opted to pair their shorts with short-sleeved shirts.

In recent years, the family has chosen to be more relaxed for their holiday pictures.

Last year, Prince William, Middleton and their children posed during a private family trip to Jordan. The mom of three and Charlotte wore dresses, while William, George and Louis wore polo shirts and shorts.

And in 2020, the family sat on haystacks as they looked cozy in sweaters next to each other.

The last formal holiday picture that the family Prince and Princess of Wales took with their children was photographed in 2017 at Kensington Palace.

Their new holiday card brings a little joy after what was a tough year for the royal family.

After William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away at age 96 on Sept. 8, his father, King Charles III, ascended to the throne.

This will be the first Christmas the family will spend together since Her Majesty’s death. Previously, the royal family gathered together to spend Christmas at Sandringham House, which was the home of the late monarch.

The royal family has not revealed where they spend the holiday this year. It’s also unclear if Williams’ brother Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will be in attendance this year following the release of their bombshell docuseries, which takes aim at the British press and their relationship with the royal family.

Kevin Durant and Charles Barkley to make huge donations to HBCUs

It’s the season of giving back, and the NBA family will be doing just that. Retired player Charles Barkley and current player Kevin Durant are set to contribute heavily to HBCU institutions.

(Dec. 12), the Brooklyn Nets small forward from the DMV said his Durant Family Foundation will be donating $500,000 to Bowie State University, Maryland’s oldest historically Black college.

“We are dedicated to providing resources and possibilities to students for higher education, especially in Prince George’s County,” said Wanda Durant, who leads the foundation. “Bowie State was the perfect place to make a meaningful impact.”

Durant was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Prince George’s County, the same place where BSU is located.

According to the BSU Bulldog News, the donation will go towards renovations of the university’s basketball arena in the Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex. Renovations will include the installation of a new basketball court, expansion of seating capacity and upgrades to the press box area. Additionally, the funds will provide financial support for men’s and women’s basketball and university athletics programs, and will establish a scholarship for Durant Center College Track students who attend Bowie State.

Meanwhile, Barkley announced over the weekend that he’ll be giving $1 million each to Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida and Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. Barkley, who is a NBA Hall-of-Famer, said his donations will go towards ALS research in the name of former Auburn teammate Gary Godfrey, who was diagnosed with the disease in January 2019.

Jackson State had no clue of Barkley’s donation until they discovered it via social media.

“We are very thankful and look forward to working with Mr. Barkley to facilitate this generous gift,” Yolanda Owens, interim vice president for institutional advancement, said Monday to the Clarion Ledger. “We appreciate his acknowledgement of Jackson State University and the great work that goes on at our institution. Because of his generosity, JSU will have an opportunity to support institutional priorities at a greater level and continue the efforts to elevate the university.”

According to AL.com, Barkley chose to donate to JSU “because of what Deion means to me as a friend,” he said. “They’re probably gonna take a little hit with him leaving, so I want to show them some love because, man, what he accomplished there was pretty extraordinary.”

‘BMF’ Actor Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory Jr. Arrested For Gun At Airport

BMF star Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory Jr. has found himself in cuffs once again. This time for having a gun in his luggage while going through an airport.

According to @tmz_tv, the incident went down on Tuesday at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Authorities say security discovered a firearm in his luggage and deputies from the Broward Co. Sheriff’s Office were immediately called to the scene and arrested the entertainer. Sources tell the news site that he had a Glock 19 9mm but it wasn’t loaded. However, cops noted that they found a 15-round magazine. It was also said that Lil Meech did not have a carry permit…

As a result of their discovery, Meech was removed from the airport and booked for introducing a firearm into the sterile area of the airport which is a felony, the news site reports.

Now, this is not the first time this year that he has gotten in trouble with the law. At the top of the year, the 22-year-old was arrested for grand theft after being accused of stealing a $250,000 Richard Mille watch.

Cops said at the time that the actor walked into Miami’s Haimov Jewelers in February and put a down payment on the Richard Mille using his $80,000 platinum Rolex. They claimed he allegedly failed to pay the remaining $200K balance and never returned the watch. In addition to that, cops had also accused him of trying to trade the watch for a different Richard Mille piece at a different store.

Following all of that drama, his charges were eventually dropped and the case was dismissed. Lil Meech shared the update in September via his IG page. He wrote, “God is Good. Case Dropped. Please Don’t Play With My Top.”

“BMF,” the Starz drama about the rise of the Black Mafia Family, is set to return for Season 2 on January 6. While we wait, check how social media has been reacting to the latest news about Lil Meech:

Megan Thee Stallion Gets Emotional on Stand During Tory Lanez Trial: 'I Just Don't Feel Good'

Megan Thee Stallion has taken the stand in the felony assault trial of singer Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting the "Plan B" rapper in the foot in July 2020.

Megan, 27, entered the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday dressed in a bright purple suit, and directed a smile at a group of cheering fans who'd been waiting in the hallway to see her.

Lanez, meanwhile, entered the building shortly after while holding hands with his young son.

Megan was called to the witness stand on the second day of the trial, which stems from a 2020 incident in which Lanez allegedly shot the "Sweetest Pie" rapper in the foot three times after yelling, "Dance, bitch!"

The pair, whom Megan has said had a friendly relationship before the incident, allegedly got into an argument in the car while leaving a Hollywood Hills party thrown by Kylie Jenner. Her former friend Kelsey Nicole was also in the vehicle.

"I just don't feel good," Megan, her voice cracking, told the court after being asked if she was nervous, according to Rolling Stone. "I can't believe I have to come up here and do this."

The Grammy-winning rapper recounted her personal relationships with both Lanez, 30, and Nicole, and said that she and Lanez began arguing after she wanted to leave Jenner's house and he didn't. Her stylist had left the party, and she therefore needed Lanez to give her a ride.

Megan told the court that as they left in the car, Lanez argued with both her and with Nicole, calling them "bitches" and other expletives. She said she exited the vehicle while it was on a main street—but once she realized she didn't know the area, made moves to get back inside, citing her status as a celebrity.

The star said she was facing the car and saw Lanez shoot her as he stood above her on one of the SUV's steps.

Prosecutors said during opening statements on Monday that the shots left three bullet fragments in Megan's feet, and that the argument began after Megan criticized his "musical skills," according to BuzzFeed News.

Texts from Lanez to Megan in which he apologized and said he "genuinely just got too drunk" but "can't change what I did" were reportedly read in court, though Lanez's defense attorneys claimed he was not admitting to shooting a gun, but to being sexually involved with both Megan and Kelsey Nicole.

Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was charged in October 2020 with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty to both charges in November 2020.

In October 2022, he was ordered under house arrest and electronic monitoring, with Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott arguing at the time that Lanez posed a danger to society and previously defied court orders not to come within 100 yards of Megan (Lanez was previously arrested in April for violating court orders by addressing Megan directly on social media and disclosing DNA evidence via a third-party Twitter user).

The "Luv" singer's house arrest was terminated earlier this month in order for him to prepare for trial, according to Rolling Stone.

Since identifying Lanez as her alleged shooter in August 2020, Megan has been forced to face critics who support Lanez, and in June, said she felt as though she had become "the villain" in the situation.

She told Rolling Stone in June that she hopes to see Lanez behind bars, and that the incident has scarred her. She also said she underwent surgery the night of the shooting, and spent approximately four days in a California hospital to treat wounds she initially told police and doctors were the result of accidentally stepping on glass.

The star said she also had to turn to physical therapy to learn how to walk again.

Gisele Bündchen Makes Golden Return to Red Carpet After Tom Brady Divorce

Gisele Bündchen glittered in gold at her first public event following her divorce from Tom Brady.

The supermodel attended a dinner celebrating the 60th anniversary of jewelry company Vivara in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Dec. 12. For the event, Gisele wore a gold gown and swept her hair back into a high ponytail. She finished off her look with a pair of drop earrings and a sparkly necklace.

Gisele, 42, and Tom, 45, filed for and finalized their divorce in October after 13 years of marriage. In their respective statements on social media, the former runway star and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said they divorced amicably and expressed their gratitude for their time together.

They also noted they'll continue to work as a team to raise their children. Gisele and Tom share son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, and the athlete also has a son named Jack, 15, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. A source told E! News Tom and Gisele agreed on joint custody of their kids, and their followers have already seen subtle signs of co-parenting support on social media.

"My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart," Gisele said in her statement about the divorce. "We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve."

While Tom and Gisele noted their decision to split was a tough one to make, they also made it clear they wish each other well.

"The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart," she continued, "and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always."

Gisele had hinted about them each needing to do what makes them happy in an interview for ELLE's October issue, where she discussed Tom's decision to return to the NFL after having previously announced his retirement.

"Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," she told the magazine in the interview, which was released in September. "I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too."

And Gisele noted she has more goals she'd like to accomplish. "I've done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom]," she continued. "I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career—it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I've done a good job on that."

She added, "I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose."

Raven-Symoné and LeVar Burton Honored for Work in Kids Programming

*Raven-Symoné and LeVar Burton were among the honorees at Variety’s first-ever Family Entertainment Awards, presented by Kidoodle.

Raven-Symoné, star of “Raven’s Home” and Burton, beloved host of “Reading Rainbow,” received the storytelling visionary award for their contributions to kids’ programming, Variety reports.

“Kids are the smartest people I know,” Raven-Symoné told audience members at The West Hollywood Edition. “The family space and the kids’ space is worthy of bold, thought-provoking content. They can handle it.”

The other honorees at the Dec. 8 ceremony included the creators of “Cobra Kai,” Pete Docter, chief creative officer at Pixar Animation, Julian Shapiro-Barnum, creator of the web series “Recess Therapy,” and the executive producers of “SpongeBob Squarepants” and SpongeBob voice actor Tom Kenny, who received the franchise award from Nickelodeon Animation president Ramsey Naito, per Variety.

“I do believe, like Raven, that [children] deserve the best of what we have to offer,” Burton said during his acceptance speech. “I’ve never been ashamed, I’ve never backed into that which I do in this space, because our kids deserve it.”

Earlier this year, Burton addressed the cultural impact of the “Roots” miniseries, based on Alex Haley’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. It aired on ABC for eight consecutive nights, beginning on Jan. 23, 1977.

“I continue to be surprised by the enduring popularity of Roots worldwide,” Burton told PEOPLE. “I’ve been to places on the globe like Suriname, where Kunta Kinte is a national hero and songs are literally written about him. Kunta Kinte is an international symbol of freedom and resistance, is something that I’m really, really proud of. And that’s something that has certainly grown over time. I don’t think I could be more proud.”

Burton won the role of Kunta Kinte while he was a sophomore at the University of Southern California. He described his first day on set as “more inspiring than it was intimidating.”

“Roots” won nine of the 37 Emmys for which it was nominated and was watched by more than 255 million households. Years after the mini-series aired, Burton continued his small-screen success with “Reading Rainbow.”

“When I was presented a few years later with the idea of using the medium of television to steer children back in the direction of literature and the written word during the summer months, I thought, ‘Yeah, that makes sense to me,'” he shared with PEOPLE. “Reading Rainbow was a good idea, a good use of the television airwaves and a perfectly legitimate way for me to tell stories to perhaps the most important audience for all of us.”

Ticketmaster Sold Fans ‘Fake’ Bad Bunny Tickets Then Turned Them Away, and Mexico Is Pissed

Ticketmaster’s blunders aren’t exclusive to Swifties. Bad Bunny completed his World’s Hottest Tour at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Friday night, and some fans weren’t allowed to witness the year’s top-grossing touring artist. According to Billboard, Ticketmaster Mexico canceled several people’s tickets “at the entrance to the show saying they were fake.”

“Dozens of people who had arrived hours and some days earlier — coming from different places in Mexico and the U.S. — were not able to get inside,” Billboard reported. They relayed an individual tearful account from the scene and adding, “some desperate fans climbed over the main gates of the stadium trying to get inside but were blocked by security.”

Ticketmaster Mexico released a statement on Saturday about the debacle:

The statement begins by apologizing to those affected by the scam and promising “a full refund to legitimate ticket holders who were unable to access” the concert. The company also pinpointed “an unprecedented number of false tickets” on the platform as the issue. “This generated confusion and complicated the entrance to the stadium, with the unfortunate consequence that some legitimate tickets were denied entry,” the statement continues.

Ticketmaster Mexico shared it will work with PROFECO to sort out the aftermath and assist in preventing future ticket fraud.

Unfortunately, fans will likely have to wait awhile for a redo. Bad Bunny pulled off two headlining tours in 2022: El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo 2022 and World’s Hottest Tour. According to his new Billboard cover story, he became the first-ever artist to earn at least $100 million on two separate shows in one year.

Bad Bunny told the publication that he plans to take a break in 2023, citing his “physical health, my emotional health to breathe, enjoy my achievements.” One thing assuredly penciled into his 2023 calendar is the Grammys, where his Un Verano Sin Ti will be the first-ever Spanish-language album up for the Album Of The Year category.

DaBaby May Need A ‘Rockstar’ Legal Team To Fight A New Lawsuit From The Song’s Apparent Original

When it rains, it pours, but for DaBaby, it seems like he’s stuck in a never-ending hurricane. Since his infamous comments at Rolling Loud back in 2021, the “Bop” rapper hasn’t caught a break. Not only did his latest album, Baby On Baby 2, perform poorly on Billboard‘s Hot 100 charts, but the Charlotte native also became the butt of several online jokes due to his show’s lack of ticket sales.

Now, according to TMZ, one of his most popular songs, “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, is the subject of a new lawsuit. Producer JuJu Beatz allegedly opened the copyright enrichment case in which JuJu claims DaBaby stole the song’s beat from him under the cloak of sampling.

The documents reveal JuJu initially sent the beat in a digital file to the rapper’s team in 2019. Someone on his team with access to the file opened the instrumental more than 40 times between when it was initially sent and when the song was released in April 2020.

Lastly, JuJu claims while the rapper racked up millions of dollars in profit from the song, he was not compensated for his unauthorized contribution. JuJu told the courts he has attempted to settle this dispute with the rapper privately, but DaBaby refuses to “cooperate or accept responsibility for blatant and willful copyright infringement.”

Due to DaBaby’s dismissal of the JuJu’s outreach attempts, Roddy Ricch, who is featured on the track, and several others involved in the song’s production have now been named as co-defendants.

US Lawmakers Introduce Bill That Aims to Ban TikTok

Tuesday, a bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced legislation that would ban TikTok in the U.S.

The legislation was introduced following a warning from the FBI director and cybersecurity experts who have said China could use the social media platform to spy on Americans and censure content.

The new bill by Republican Senator Marco Rubio aims to block or prohibit all transactions from any social media company in or under the influence of China and Russia. A companion bill in the U.S. House of Representatives was also sponsored by Republican congressman Mike Gallagher and Democrat Raja Krishnamoorthi.

“It is troubling that rather than encouraging the administration to conclude its national security review of TikTok, some members of Congress have decided to push for a politically-motivated ban that will do nothing to advance the national security of the United States,” a TikTok spokesperson said in a statement, adding that the company would continue to brief members of Congress on the plans that are “well underway” to “further secure our platform in the United States.”

The bill comes as a result of Washington’s rocky relationship with TikTok over the past year after a failed bid by the Trump administration to ban the popular video-sharing app.

TikTok, which has more than 100 million users in the United States and is owned by the Chinese-based country ByteDance, has become popular among younger Americans.

At a hearing last month, FBI Director Chris Wray said TikTok’s U.S. operations raise national security concerns, flagging the risk that the Chinese government could harness it to influence users or control their devices.

On Monday, Alabama and Utah joined other U.S. states prohibiting the use of TikTok on state government devices and computer networks due to national security concerns.

“China’s access to data collected by TikTok presents a threat to our cybersecurity,” Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said in a statement on Monday. “As a result, we’ve deleted our TikTok account and ordered the same on all state-owned devices. We must protect Utahns and make sure that the people of Utah can trust the state’s security systems.”

CFIUS and TikTok have been in talks for months aiming to reach a national security agreement to protect the data of TikTok’s more than 100 million users.

In a statement to The Hill, TikTok spokesperson Jamal Brown said the platform is saddened by the number of states that enacted policies based on unfounded, politically charged falsehoods about their company.

“It is unfortunate that the many state agencies, offices, and universities on TikTok in those states will no longer be able to use it to build communities and connect with constituents,” Brown said in a statement.

Elon Musk Confirms Twitter 280 Character Limit to Be Increased to 4,000

Twitter has been undergoing a few changes since the purchase of the platform by Elon Musk earlier this year.

Recently it was rumored that Musk would increase the character limit for tweets from 280 to 4,000.

This past weekend Musk confirmed that his plans to change the character limit are accurate.

One Twitter user asked, “Elon is it true that Twitter is set to increase the characters from 280 to 4000?”

In response, Elon confirmed that the update is true, “Yes.”

Additionally, on Sunday, Twitter re-launched its Twitter Blue paid verification feature that was pulled just last month after verified accounts started to pose as celebrities when Blue was first active.
