#RHOP: Robyn Dixon Addresses the ‘Disparity in Income’ Between Her and Juan Dixon Amid Prenup Discussions
Making it official — almost. Robyn Dixon isn’t going down without a fight when it comes to getting a prenup before she married fiancé — and former spouse — Juan Dixon.
“One of my good friends sent me a referral for a family law lawyer to start talking about the prenup and what are my options. I don’t even know what it should look like,” the reality star, 43, says in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek at a new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which airs on Sunday, November 6.
During her meeting with the attorney, Robyn breaks down her past history with Juan, 44.
“Let me just start by saying I am remarrying my ex-husband. We have been together since high school [and] we got married in 2005. We had a prenuptial agreement then and we ended up getting a divorce seven years later,” she explains. “The prenup, actually — we didn’t even need it — because at that time [of our split], we had severe financial struggles. So there was no money to fight over anyway. Now we are on our way to get married again.”
The podcast host notes that the former athlete did not find it “necessary” to sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married again. “But I think it is necessary because you never know what can happen in a relationship,” Robyn shares, before adding that there is a “disparity in income” between the couple. “I have some very successful businesses and I would like to keep them [excluded].”
Before the hit Bravo series returned for season 7, Robyn opened up about having the “uncomfortable” discussion with Juan on screen.
“I think he just thought I was coming from a total negative place. Because [prenups] have such a negative connotation when you hear about them. So his reaction was not a good one at all,” she exclusively told Us last month. “It definitely led to some intense conversations.”
At the time, the mother of two revealed she had no doubt the pair would work through their differences. (The twosome share sons Corey, 14, and Carter, 13.)
“When you think about it, it’s like, ‘Oh, OK we can talk about this. We’ve been together forever. This should be an easy conversation.’ But when you actually do it and you talk about things that you want in [the prenup], it becomes really weird,” Robyn continued. “[It felt strange] talking about essentially protecting yourself from somebody that you’ve known for so long. [But] it didn’t put a pause in the plans. It just made him a little more tense.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET

#HipHopNews: JAY-Z Likes Tweet Defending Megan Thee Stallion After Apparent Drake Diss
JAY-Z is weighing in on the drama surrounding Drake’s perceived Megan Thee Stallion diss.
On Friday, Drake and 21 Savage released their joint album Her Loss, which includes what many believe to be a diss aimed at the Houston hottie. On “Circo Loco,” Drake raps about a woman who lies about getting “shots,” a possible reference to Megan, who was shot in the foot while in a car with Tory Lanez in July 2020.
“This bitch lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion / She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling,” he raps on the Boi-1da and Tay Keith-produced track.
Just moments after the song dropped, Meg responded by calling out Drake. “I know I’m very popular but y’all gotta stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name lol,” she tweeted. “Ni**as nor hoes EVER address me or @ me WITH a fact or receipts. I AM CLOUT BITCH keep sucking my pussy.”
She continued to rip the OVO rapper for seemingly supporting Tory. “Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass Ni**as! Since when tf is it cool to joke abt women getting shot !” she added. “You ni**as especially RAP NI**AS ARE LAME! Ready to boycott bout shoes and clothes but dog pile on a black woman when she say one of y’all homeboys abused her.”
Now JAY-Z appears to be siding with Megan, who is managed by his company Roc Nation. His “sc” Twitter account liked and later unliked a tweet from BET News host Marc Lamont Hill, defending Megan amid Drake’s apparent diss.
“If Drake released a song with ‘clever’ wordplay that mocked the shooting of a male rapper, or any man for that matter, the same people defending him would be outraged. But of course, he would never do that…” tweeted Hill.
Amid the controversy, Lil Yachty jumped to Drake’s defense, claiming that the “shots” lyric was not about Megan and was instead referencing women who get Brazilian butt lifts aka BBLs. “It has nothing to do with Megan. It’s just women lying about their butt being real when it’s not,” he explained on Instagram Live. “And like ‘stallion’ as in like she’s still like fine, like a stallion. That was it.”
Megan’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, also spoke out about the skeptics who don’t believe Megan was shot, saying that the truth will come out in court when the trial begins next month.
“She is the victim here,” Spiro told TMZ. “Those people are going to look very silly when the facts fully come out here, very silly, and it’s going to be troubling and it’s going to be a stain that stays with them.”
Kanye West Reportedly Blamed Rihanna For Domestic Abuse During Letterman Interview
More controversial comments from Kanye West are coming to light.
According to a report from TheWrap, the former billionaire referenced Nazis and blamed Rihanna for her own domestic abuse during a 2019 interview with David Letterman.
Multiple audience members who attended the taping of the comedian’s Netflix talk show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman” said West complained that the media always seemed to support women over men when misconduct allegations surfaced. He appeared to side with Chris Brown following his 2009 assault of Rihanna, suggesting that Rihanna must have done something to deserve what happened to her.
According to David Maldonado, who was in the theater for the taping, Ye stated that “Chris Brown’s career is basically over and you have Rihanna and everyone took her side.”
He went on to claim that she “must have done something to merit what happened to her.”
That wasn’t the only comment edited out of the interview. West apparently went on a rant about how an unnamed music executive friend got “MeToo-ed” and how West himself could be “MeToo-ed.” He also suggested that a Hollywood power structure was behind the #MeToo movement, which appeared to be a reference to Jewish people.
West repeated right-wing conspiracy theories during the Letterman interview, claiming that liberals treated anyone wearing Trump’s red MAGA hat “like they were Nazis.”
The “shocking” comments were largely removed from the final edit of the May 2019 episode that streamed on Netflix.
“It was shocking to see that Kanye West could share harmful alt-right beliefs, conspiracy theory after conspiracy and misogynistic beliefs about women for the majority of the interview and end up with an edit that removed all those items in favor of celebrity fluff content,” said audience member Noah Reich.
Worldwide Pants, Inc., the production company behind “My Next Guest,” told TheWrap that the episode was shot for more than five hours over two days before being edited down to 55 minutes.
“Nearly four years ago, in an interview for ‘My Next Guest,’ Kanye West discussed a wide range of topics with David Letterman, including, family, fatherhood, music and creativity,” the production company stated. “Kanye also told Dave that he had just been diagnosed with bipolar disorder six months earlier, which led to a personal discussion about mental illness, its stigma and treatment, and for the first time he talked about what he experiences when he has bipolar episodes.”
The statement continued, “Mr. West subsequently began an offensive rant about the MeToo movement. He also later spoke about liberals purportedly bullying Trump supporters, and about free speech being suppressed. These points were represented in the show, the producers went to great lengths to accurately present them, and Dave challenged him on each of these.”
This comes as West continues to face backlash for his anti-Semitic outbursts. Former TMZ staffer Van Lathan revealed that the Yeezy designer professed his love for Hitler and the Nazis during the same 2018 interview where he said slavery “sounds like a choice.” Adidas and Balenciaga are among the companies that have cut ties with him in the wake of the controversy.
SHADE? Is Latocha Scott Taking A Break From Xscape?
Xscape fans started freakin' out after noticing a promo for an upcoming tour featured 3 ladies, not 4 ... but we're told it's not a sign the group is splitting up -- even if LaTocha has chosen to take a step back from the gals.
A source close to the group tells TMZ ... LaTocha is still part of Xscape, despite what fans are noticing online. She made the call herself to put some space between her and the group.
We're told Xscape shot a new Bravo show, which is set to come out in March ... and the issues began once they decided to do a small tour.
Sources say LaTocha was originally part of the tour ... until her husband got into it with the promoter. She asked the rest of the group to not use the guy, but they said no way ... choosing to keep moving forward, which is when she backed out.
LaTocha even asked her bandmates not to use the group name since she'd be MIA -- like when they went by Xscape 3 after group member Kandi took a break ... but no dice.
Another source close to the group tells us LaTocha was asked if she wanted to be a part of some upcoming shows and declined. We're told she's given the remaining 3 girls permission to use the Xscape name -- and will join them at The Soul Train Awards.
We're told any notion the group is icing her out is false, and the promotion was done without her because she turned the the shows down.
We're told there's been no communication between LaTocha and her sister, Tamika ... not to mention the rest of the group -- but as a silver lining, it sounds like they will all be back together for the Soul Train Awards next weekend.
Shonda Rhimes And Other Creators Are Not Happy With Netflix’s New Flow-Disrupting Ads
Last week, Netflix unveiled something they long vowed they’d never do: an ad-supported version of their service. Subscribers were fleeing; money, which had been spent on blockbuster-sized budgets, was drying up. It had to be done, evidently. But it’s been a chaotic roll-out, and the way they’ve implemented their new tactic already has its critics, including certain high-profile “content creators.”
As per CNBC, multiple sources say Shonda Rhimes — whose Netflix shows include Bridgerton and Inventing Anna — is among those who’ve complained about the ads. They say they interrupt their storytelling, their flow. After all, these shows (and movies) were not made with commercial breaks in mind.
Among others who’ve complained are Intrepid Pictures, who’ve put such shows and films as The Haunting of Hill House, directed by Mike Flanagan (who is also reportedly nonplussed). One episode of that show is comprised of five long takes over 50 minutes. They’re now rudely interrupted by ads, killing not only the tension but the filmmaking. One reason Intrepid signed up with Netflix was because of their lack of ads.
Netflix executives have tried to cushion the blow of the ads, saying they try to find places where breaks make sense, or as much as they possibly can. Some who’ve worked with Netflix have not complained about the ads, including Ryan Murphy and The Queen’s Gambit’s Scott Frank.
That said, there’s one thing Netflix won’t be doing with those who make shows and movies for them: sharing the revenue from those ads with them. Indeed, the only thing they can do about the ads is complain about them — or complain if their shows or movies aren’t even a part of the ad-supported version.
Nick Carter's Heart Is Broken Over 'Baby Brother' Aaron's Death
Nick Carter is devastated by his brother Aaron's death. On Sunday, November 6, the Backstreet Boys singer, 42, broke his silence, a day after his pop star sibling - who he nicknamed Chizz - was found dead in his bathtub aged 34 at his home in Lancaster, California, after 10 years of battling addiction issues.
"My heart has been broken today. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held onto the hope, that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed," he wrote on Instagram alongside a series of throwback and childhood images of him and Aaron.
"Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss. But the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you get a chance to finally have some peace you could never find here on earth. God, please take care of my baby brother."
Jennifer Lawrence Quits Adam McKay movie about Elizabeth Holmes titled 'Bad Blood'
Jennifer Lawrence has left "Bad Blood". Originally due to play the Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, the 32-year-old actress decided to exit the role after watching Amanda Seyfried's Emmy-winning portrayal in the miniseries "The Dropout".
On Wednesday, November 2, the news was posted on Twitter by The New York Times reporter Kyle Buchanan after he interviewed "The Hunger Games" star. "Jennifer Lawrence will no longer star as Elizabeth Holmes in Adam McKay's 'BAD BLOOD', she told me," he wrote on the social media platform.
"She came to that conclusion after watching Amanda Seyfried play Holmes in 'The Dropout': 'I thought she was terrific. I was like, 'Yeah, we don't need to redo that.' She did it."
Ryan Coogler Details His Last Conversation With Chadwick Boseman
Ryan Coogler has given the world a glimpse into his last conversation with late actor Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020 due to complications related to stage IV colon cancer. The Oscar nominee was 43 years old at the time of his passing. During a recent appearance on Marvel’s official Black Panther podcast Wakanda Forever, the award-winning director revealed that the script for the sequel was completed before the acclaimed thespian’s death, but that Boseman declined Coogler’s offer to give it a glimpse.
“He said he didn’t wanna read it because he didn’t wanna get in the way of what direction the studio might have,” the 36-year-old said. “So he was like it’s better for him to read it later. I found out later that he was too tired to read anything.”
Coogler also shares that while he was aware of Boseman’s diagnosis upon meeting him, he was ill-prepared to deal with the impact his transition would have.
“He was sick when I met him,” Coogler said. “But looking back on it, it’s like, my mans was dying. It’s a shocking thing to realize, and it’s also a thing where it’s like ‘I can’t quit.’ If he did all that while he was going through that, this is just grief. So we gotta push through.”
One spoiler the Cali native willingly allowed to slip about the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film is that fans should not expect the return or portrayal of T’Challa by another actor, as Boseman’s performance and ownership of the role were unique to himself.
“He was T’Challa before Civil War in a way, in his mind,” Coogler said. “And I’m sure there’s a lot of actors like that out there like that. But they wasn’t Chad.”
#BoxOfficeNews: Black Adam tops box office for third weekend in a row
The power of the gods is still with Black Adam. The DC superhero film took the top spot at the box office for the third weekend in a row, earning $18.5 million. Starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, the flick has now grossed a total of $134 million. The production has also continued to generate ticket sales abroad, with its international total climbing to $320 million.
EW's Joshua Rothkopf gave the film a C+, calling it "a pre-chewed experience that's vaguely familiar and generic, but with a subversive zag or two that shouldn't be discounted." But the lukewarm reviews have done little to deter fans.
The anime film One Piece Film: Red, which stands as the ninth highest grossing film in Japan, debuted with $9.5 million – taking the second spot. This marks a solid debut during an otherwise quiet weekend at the box office from Crunchyroll, which signifies the growing demand for anime releases.
Rounding out the top five spots is the Julia Roberts, George Clooney romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise with $8.5 million, the horror hit Smile with $4 million, and the supernatural thriller Prey for the Devil with $3.8 million. Lyle, Lyle Crocodile, The Banshees Of Inisherin, Till, Halloween ends, and Terrifier 2 remain in the top ten.
Next weekend will likely see a major rise in moviegoer turnout when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters. The film is expected to have the biggest opening of any film this year.
Mathew Knowles dishes on Solange turning down offers to join Destiny's Child
Mathew Knowles is on the ‘gram dropping gems about life and lesser-known facts about his famous daughters Beyoncé and Solange.
On Saturday (Nov. 5), Knowles shared two separate posts, one for each of his daughters, reflecting on the greatness he knew each of his superstar offspring were destined to achieve.
In the first post, the music executive shared a throwback photo of the Renaissance singer playfully placing a hairpiece on his head. He wrote that he could not remember all the details about the memory, but he was able to recall his oldest daughter being happy.
“As parents, we often have to walk the fine line between parent and manager (in my case—literally). We all want to see our children excel academically, athletically, artistically, socially, and so on. Sometimes, we just need to let them have fun and let their spirits guide them to be the best they can possibly be,” he noted.
His caption continued, “In Beyoncé’s case, Tina and I saw her incredible love for the stage and performing at a very young age. And we both knew that as long as she was having fun doing what she loved and was passionate about it, that she would be successful.” You can see his post about his Grammy-winning daughter below.
In another post, the Destiny’s Child manager revealed he wanted Solange to join the group.
“You would think joining Destiny’s Child would be a dream to her, and she had every opportunity to seize the success that the group was experiencing—but she wanted to forge her very own path,” Knowles wrote. In past interviews, the “Cranes in the Sky” songstress has spoken about her days as a backup dancer for Destiny’s Child. She has also written songs for the group as well as fan-favorite records for Beyoncé.
Knowles ended his post with hopes that his followers would leave with this takeaway: “Sometimes life brings us to a crossroads and makes us make a choice between the ‘obvious decision’ and the choice our heart knows deep within we should take. I would encourage you to not automatically discount the latter.”
Excavation efforts uncover 24 additional Tulsa Race Massacre gravesites
Researchers and historians are still learning about the scores of deaths caused by the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
The racially motivated attack on the Black, prosperous community in Tulsa, Oklahoma, took place over a century ago, but gravesites of potential victims are still being uncovered.
ABC News reported 24 additional unmarked graves were uncovered at the Oaklawn Cemetery last week. On Wednesday (Nov. 2), the city confirmed 21 adult-sized burial sites and three child-sized graves were discovered.
In 2018, Mayor G.T. Bynum greenlit a project to excavate four locations — Oaklawn Cemetery, Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens, and Newblock Park and an area nearby — to find the burial sites of victims. Twenty-six death certificates were issued in 1921, but historians believe upwards of 300 adults and children were killed in the attacks. Nineteen unidentified bodies were found in 2019 and subsequently reburied.
In a statement on the city’s site dedicated to the excavation project, Bynum said: “The only way to move forward in our work to bring about reconciliation in Tulsa is by seeking the truth honestly. As we open this investigation 101 years later, there are both unknowns and truths to uncover. But we are committed to exploring what happened in 1921 through a collective and transparent process – filling gaps in our city’s history, and providing healing and justice to our community.”
White mobs attacked Tulsa’s affluent Black community, known as the Greenwood District and Black Wall Street, after a Black man, Dick Rowland, was accused of assaulting white elevator operator Sarah Page. Fiery riots erupted between May 31 and June 1, 1921, and resulted in the destruction of more than 1,000 homes and businesses and countless deaths.
Rowland was ultimately exonerated, but no one was ever charged for the destruction of the once-prosperous safe haven for Tulsa’s Black community. In 2021, three surviving victims testified before Congress and recounted the brutal attacks in hopes that it would help secure overdue justice.

Is Meta Set to Layoff Thousands of Employees This Week?
Twitter isn’t the only social media platform that’s going through major restructuring.
Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, may begin “large-scale layoffs” as soon as Wednesday (November 9), according to new reports.
The layoffs are expected to impact “thousands” of employees via WSJ, and would be the first “major headcount reduction” in the company’s history.
The company currently has over 87,000 employees.
“In 2023, we’re going to focus our investments on a small number of high priority growth areas. That means some teams will grow meaningfully, but most other teams will stay flat or shrink over the next year. In aggregate, we expect to end 2023 as either roughly the same size, or even a slightly smaller organization than we are today,” Mark Zuckerberg said of the company last month.
Meta shares fell 73% this year, the lowest since early 2016.
The news also comes at the same time as Elon Musk restructures Twitter, quietly asking some employees to return after a big layoff round.
Cher Breaks Her Silence on Alexander Edwards Dating Rumors
After sparking romance rumors with Alexander "A.E." Edwards, Cher seemingly addressed the unexpected relationship on social media.
Late on Nov. 5, she posted a photo of the music producer, captioning it, "Alexander" and including a red heart emoji. The Grammy winner also dropped some cryptic answers while participating in a Q&A on the social media platform.
When asked if the man in the photo was her "new man," Cher slyly replied with a smiley face with hearts emoji. She replied to another fan with the same emoji after they tweeted, "Good for you. Enjoy what you're doing and who you're with and FK everyone else. You deserve to be happy."
When another fan wrote that he "better be treating you like the queen you are," Cher seemingly confirmed that was case writing, "LIKE A [crown emoji].
Some fans expressed criticism over the pair's age difference. Cher is 78 and Edwards is 36. "I'm Not Defending us," she tweeted on Nov. 6. "Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn' Matter That & Not Bothering Anyone."
Cher also clapped back after a Twitter user questioned Edwards' "motives and intentions," responding, "Haven't You Got Anything Else 2 Do!? Let Me Explain…I DONT GIVE A [plane emoji] FK WHAT ANYONE THINKS."
Cher and Edwards first sparked romance rumors on Nov. 2 when they were spotted having a cozy night out at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood. TMZ reported that Cher arrived solo, with Edwards greeting her outside. The two then held hands as they made their way inside.
Later that night, the music producer was photographed kissing the "Believe" singer's hand in the backseat of a car as they made their way to celeb hotspot The Nice Guy where they joined Tyga, one of Edwards' longtime friends, according to the outlet.
One night before the outing, Cher hinted she had something special going on, cryptically tweeting, "One part of my life is SO AMAZING."
Edwards previously dated model Amber Rose, and the two share 3-year-old son Slash. Cher was married to Sonny Bono from 1964 to 1975 and to Gregg Allman from 1975 to 1979. Her other famous exes include Warren Betty, David Geffen, Richie Sambora, Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise.
While Cher hasn't been publicly linked to anyone in years, she previously admitted she was "still on the lookout" for romance.
"The problem I have with all the boyfriends lately is that I don't want to go any place with them because you can't keep a relationship going in this kind of goldfish bowl, where everything you do and every picture you have taken will be on Instagram," she told the Daily Mail in 2018. "There's no way to keep something… special."

The list include’s her chair, a few wigs, customized shoes, and artwork which were slated to be thrown away by production following the series finale. “The Wendy Williams Show” ran from 2008 to June 2022.
He told the publication that one of the reasons behind their decision to retrieve those items was because they were considered iconic.
Selby said, “We took it from the show. When they announced the show was over, I said to Wendy let’s go get your stuff. I thought ‘Why should it stay there- so people can sell it on eBay?’ There were some things I felt were iconic.”
Also, in the interview, Selby revealed that all items remain in her apartment.
