#RHOA: Shereé’s Boyfriend Martell Holt's Ex-Lover Puts Him On Blast After He's Spotted Filming 'RHOA'
Love & Marriage Huntsville star Martell Holt was put on blast by his son's mother Arionne Curry after he was spotted filming Real Housewives of Atlanta with new flame Shereé Whitfield, RadarOnline.com has discovered.
Curry vented her frustrations via Instagram Stories on Monday, showing several alleged "No Caller ID" attempts from her ex after Holt was seen attending a Great Gatsby-themed soirée with Whitfield in clips and photos that leaked online.
"Got back in town stressed I ain't answering. We about to start doing s--- in real time!" Curry began her series of messages.
"I let his first show play me so hard. By the time I caught on two years into the s--- they had made up so many lies about me. I looked crazy defending myself! NEVER AGAIN!" she captioned the screengrab, adding, "He has called 15 times claiming he looking for Knox and emailed as well. By the way, wasn't concerned about him this weekend!"
Curry alleged Holt later popped up to ask for their son. He also shares children with his ex-wife Melody Shari.
"I'm in the house trying to hide like I'm not home. I just didn't feel like his bulls---. This man really got out that lady bed and drove straight to my house from Atlanta," she alleged, seemingly referring to Whitfield.
"He so slick he hides [his] car and walks to the backyard. Whole time I'm thinking he gone. Next thing I know he banging on the back door talking about haha I see you trying to hide. I jumped looking stupid trying to peep around," Curry continued, claiming she got Knox ready to go before Holt allegedly said he would come back and get him.
"But I thought you wanted [your] son so bad ... Yeah right," she went on.
She later posted part of their email exchange amid the drama, showing that he later apologized. "Lol now he sorry," Curry wrote. "This has been my life for years now."
Curry followed up with a discount for her boutique shoppers with the code "Inspector Gadget," which she said was "on behalf of him trying to steal my peace today."
This development came after Curry previously took to social media about their back-and-forth drama back in August.
"Ladies never have a baby by a married man, let me be your example!!! Someone had to be it," Curry wrote at the time. "I own my s--- now what!"
#MusicNews: Chris Brown’s ‘Under the Influence’ Goes Platinum
Chris Brown continues to enjoy the fruits of his labor. The R&B star’s 2019 song “Under the Influence” has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It has sold more than one million equivalent units.
The song, which appears on his Indigo (Extended) album, has been making waves over the last few months, solidifying Brown a new sleeper hit.
During the week of Sept. 24, “Under the Influence” made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 36.
It marked Brown’s 113th career entry on the popular singles chart. Since then, the bedroom banger has been slowly climbing the chart. “Under the Influence” stands at No. 23 at the time of publication (during the week of Oct. 15).
On Spotify, “Under the Influence” is among Brown’s most popular songs. It’s currently trending No. 1 on his Spotify profile with more than 318 million streams to date.
In mid-September, “Under the Influence” reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top 100: Global chart. At the time of publication, it’s No. 2, sitting in between Sam Smith and Kim Petra’s “Unholy” (No. 1) and Steve Lacy’s smash single “Bad Habit” (No. 3).
“I REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE and LOVE YALL..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽. #1 This is crazy to me… imagine the songs that were overlooked.. thank you team breezy. GEMS 🙏🏽❤️. Hope you guys are going back and re-listening to see what y’all may have missed. 🥰 R&B AINT DEAD..just allow it to blossom,” Brown wrote on Instagram after “Under the Influence” topped the Apple Music chart.
Brown released Indigo Extended in October 2019 as a deluxe edition of his gold-selling Indigo. The expanded edition features 10 additional tracks with features from Davido, DaniLeigh, Rich The Kid and Sage The Gemini.
The standard edition of Indigo dropped in July 2019 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album, which was certified gold by the RIAA nearly two months after its release, includes Brown’s Grammy-nominated hit “No Guidance” featuring Drake.
The success of “Under the Influence” comes in the midst of Brown’s campaign for his tenth studio album, Breezy.
Released in June, Breezy debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.
#HipHopNews: Cardi B Celebrates 30th Birthday With Burlesque-Themed Bash
The stars came out to party with Cardi B as she celebrated her 30th birthday.
The rapper shut down Poppy nightclub in West Hollywood on Tuesday night for her “Dirty Thirty Cabaret.” The birthday girl was stunning in a red flapper dress as she entered on the arm of her husband, who donned a white suit.
Chance the Rapper, YG, Ice Spice, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Karrueche, O.T. Genasis, DDG, Wale, Tiffany Haddish, and Cardi’s sister Hennessy were among those who turned up with Cardi at the burlesque-themed bash.
At one point in the evening, Cardi got on stage and sang along to “Tomorrow 2” as GloRilla and Ice Spice stood behind her. The celebratory vibes lasted into the early morning as a Hennessy-sipping Cardi rapped along to Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” and danced to City Girls’ “Twerkulator.”
Offset, who is known for his lavish gifts, spared no expense on his wife. He surprised her with a Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag, which is said to be the rarest handbag in the world. The bag sold for over $300,000 at a Christie’s auction in 2020. He opened the lock to reveal another jaw-dropping gift, an iced-out Richard Mille watch.
One guest who didn’t make it inside was Jamie Foxx. According to TMZ, the Oscar winner showed up late with an entourage of 10 people, but decided to leave the party because there wasn’t a section available for him and his crew.
On social media, Cardi received birthday wishes from friends including Megan Thee Stallion, Kash Doll, Latto, and Rubi Rose. “Thanks my loves,” she wrote in response to all the messages.
Brandy Says to her fans Thanks as she is recovering from a report that she had a possible seizure
Singer and actress Brandy said Wednesday that she's on the mend, hours after a report that she'd been hospitalized following a possible seizure at her home.
"To my beloved fam, friends, and starz thank you for sending love and light my way," she wrote on social media. "I am following doctors' orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon."
Her words followed a TMZ report that the singer and actress was recovering at a hospital, one day after paramedics had responded to a call that the Grammy winner suffered a possible seizure.
Representatives for Brandy and the Los Angeles Police Department did not respond to Yahoo Entertainment's requests for comment.
Brandy, 43 — born Brandy Norwood — is the artist behind seven studio albums, most recently 2020's B7, and a string of hits over the decades, including "The Boy is Mine" with Monica, "Have You Ever?" and "Sittin' Up in My Room." "I believe in God. I believe in morals, values, respect, and integrity, I have a beautiful family foundation," said Brandy, who's the mom of adult daughter Sy'rai. " I just know that I have a different perspective on why I'm here. I feel like being a vessel and being an example is my higher purpose. That keeps me humble and that keeps me grounded. it keeps it not about me, but about the work that I'm here to do to inspire others and that's what it’s about for me now."

Jones Must pay nearly $1 billion in damages to Sandy Hook families for his lies about the school massacre
Far-right talk show host Alex Jones should pay eight families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims and one first responder $965 million in compensatory damages, a Connecticut jury decided Wednesday, capping a wrenching weeks-long trial that put on display the serious harm inflicted by the conspiracy theorist’s lies.
With its punishing award, the decision could shrink or even doom Jones’ Infowars media empire, which has been at the center of major conspiracy theories dating back to former President George W. Bush’s administration and was embraced by President Donald Trump.

Jury awards nearly $1 billion to Sandy Hook families in Alex Jones case
The plaintiffs and their attorneys were visibly emotional when the jury’s decision were read. The decision marks a key moment in the years-long process that began in 2018 when the families took legal action against Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems, the parent of the fringe media organization Infowars.
Jones baselessly said again and again after the 2012 mass shooting, in which 26 people were killed, that the incident was staged, and that the families and first responders were “crisis actors.” The plaintiffs throughout the trial described in poignant terms how the lies had prompted unrelenting harassment against them and compounded the emotional agony of losing their loved ones.
Plaintiffs in the trial included family members of eight school students and employees, in addition to one FBI agent who responded to the scene. The three cases were all condensed into the single trial.
Jones was not in the courtroom for the verdict. He was streaming live when the jury’s decision was read in court, mocked the decision on his Infowars show and used it to fundraise.
It’s unclear when or how much of the money the plaintiffs will ultimately see. Jones has said that he will appeal the decision and during his Wednesday broadcast said that there “ain’t no money” to pay the massive figure the jury awarded the plaintiffs.
Christopher Mattei, an attorney for the plaintiffs, had urged jurors to award at least a half a billion dollars for having permanently mangled the lives of his clients. The figure, he said, would represent the more than 550 million online impressions Jones’ Sandy Hook lie allegedly received online.
“You may say that is astronomical. It is,” Mattei said. “It’s exactly what Alex Jones set himself up to do. That’s what he built. He built a lie machine that could push this stuff out. You reap what you sow.”
Mattei praised the jurors after the verdict was reached.
“The jury’s verdict is a testament to that courage, in a resounding affirmation that people of goodwill, dedicated to the truth, mindful of their responsibilities to their fellow citizens can come together to protect the innocent, to reveal lies masquerading as truth, and to set right a historic wrong,” Mattei told reporters outside the courthouse.
The decision in Connecticut comes two months after a separate jury in Texas determined that Jones and his company should award two Sandy Hook parents who sued in that state nearly $50 million. Later this month, the judge in that case will consider whether to reduce the punitive damages awarded under Texas law.
While Jones initially lied about the 2012 shooting, he later acknowledged that the massacre had occurred as he faced multiple lawsuits. But he failed to comply with court orders during the discovery process of the lawsuits in Connecticut and Texas, leading the families in each state to win default judgments against him.
During the latest trial, families of the Sandy Hook victims offered emotional testimony, telling the jury in haunting terms how Jones’ lies about the shooting had permanently altered their lives and compounded the pain of losing their loved ones.
Jones, who was cross-examined by the plaintiffs’ attorneys, but chose not to testify in his own defense as was originally planned, sought to portray himself as a victim of an elaborate “deep state” conspiracy against him.
In a particularly explosive moment in the trial, Jones tangled with an attorney for the plaintiffs, accusing him of “ambulance chasing,” before descending into an unhinged rant in court about “liberals.”
The judge overseeing the case admonished Jones several times during his testimony, warning him even at one point that he could be held in contempt of court if he violated her rules moving forward.
Jones has attacked the judicial process, even acknowledging in court that he had referred to the proceedings as those of a “kangaroo court” and called the judge a “tyrant.” He has already indicated that he plans to appeal.
Herschel Walker’s ‘Mom says his Full-Blood Cherokee’ Claim Is a LIE!
In January, at a campaign event at the University of Georgia, Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker boldly announced that he had just found out through his mother that he is “40 percent Native American.”
In the following months, the former NFL star would repeat the claim several times, with slightly different twists, though each time he said he had just learned the news.
HuffPost’s Jennifer Bendery reported that Walker said he had just learned his mom is “a big part Native American” at one campaign event in May, described himself as “other” and said he found out “a year and a half ago” at another May event, and at a south Georgia meet-and-greet the same month claimed he is “proud to be Black but... I may not be Black” because he had just learned “my mother is part Native American.” At a June 20 campaign event in College Park, he made similar claims but added that he made the discovery using a 23andMe ancestry test. “I don’t care what color you are,” Walker said after stating he wanted to “acknowledge all of my family.”
His latest, boldest announcement came at a campaign event last month, but this time he claimed his grandmother was “full-blood Cherokee.”
“My mom just told me… so I’m Native American. I was like, ‘Oh, hello,’” he said, describing himself as a “super mutt.” Speaking on stage to his supporters at the Sept. 28 event in Forsyth, he said: “I don’t know what I am, but this was so funny. This was so funny. I said, ‘Mom, why you never said anything to us?’ She said, ‘Back in my days, a lot of the Native Americans were treated worse than Blacks.’”
Walker and his campaign have provided no evidence for his claims, and some digging by Bendery has shown no links to Walker and the Native American community so far.
Cherokee Nation, the largest of three recognized tribes in the U.S., told HuffPost it had no record of Walker in its database. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians did not respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.
Walker’s mother, Christine, spoke to the site and said “she has no idea if an immediate ancestor was full-blooded Cherokee.”
She said she grew up hearing stories about her father’s mother being “kin” to the tribe, clarifying that “her grandmother was believed to be related to Cherokee peoples in some way, but she didn’t know how.” She told HuffPost that “I don’t know how far back” the family’s Cherokee heritage went. “See, my grandmother, she passed when I was quite young. I don’t know too much about how she was connected.”
Walker’s campaign did not respond when contacted with a follow-up request for comment.
Kanye Allegedly Professed His ‘Love’ for Hitler During ‘Slavery Was a Choice’ TMZ Interview
New allegations about Kanye West’s history of anti-Semitic remarks surfaced amid a cascade of recent statements from the rapper about Jews, with a former TMZ staffer claiming that West said he loved Hitler and Nazis back in 2018 on a visit to the news company’s studio.
Van Lathan Jr. addressed the topic during the latest episode of the Ringer podcast Higher Learning, saying he heard West make similar remarks during his infamous TMZ appearance back in 2018, where the artist shared his opinion that slavery was a “choice.” Van, who was working for the outlet at the time, recalled to co-host Rachel Lindsay that Kanye professed his “love” for Adolf Hitler and the Nazis; however, those statements were edited out of the final video.
“I already heard him say that stuff before at TMZ,” Van said about West’s recent comments about Jewish people at the 20-minute mark below. “I mean, I was taken aback because that type of antisemitic talk is disgusting. It’s like, I’m taken aback any time anyone does that, right? But as far as [West], I knew that that was in him because when he came to TMZ, he said that stuff and they took it out of the interview.”
Van continued, “If you look at what I said at TMZ, it goes from me saying like, ‘Hey Kanye, there’s real-life, real-world implication to everything that you just said there.’ What I say after that—if I can remember, it’s been a long time—was, actually, ‘12 million people actually died because of Nazism and Hitler and all of that stuff,’ and then I move on to talk about what he said about slavery.”
Lathan pointed out that the “12 million people” part was taken out of the final cut.
“The reason they took it out is because it wouldn’t have made sense unless they kept in Kanye saying he loved Hitler and the Nazis, which he said when he was at TMZ. He said something like, ‘I love Hitler, I love Nazis.’ Something to that effect when he was there. And they took it out of the interview for whatever reason. It wasn’t my decision.”
The Higher Learning episode comes days after Instagram and Twitter restricted West’s accounts over posts that were widely considered antisemitic. Last week the multi-hyphenate shared a text exchange in which he suggested Diddy was being controlled by Jewish people. Kanye post stemmed from Diddy’s criticism of the “White Lives Matter” shirt that West debuted during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.
Breonna Taylor’s Family Joins ‘Red Table Talk’ Recalls Fatal Police Shooting
Breonna Taylor’s family will appear on an upcoming Red Table Talk and recount the horrific killing that took place on March 13, 2020, after officers forced their way into Taylor’s apartment resulting in the fatal police shooting.
In an exclusive clip obtained by BET.com, Taylor's mother, Tamika Palmer, shares with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris the chilling interaction she had with the Louisville Metro Police officers as she learned about her daughter's death.
“When did you find out that Breonna had passed?” Banfield-Norris asked Palmer.
Palmer responded, “It wasn’t until about 11:30 am, and mind you, we had been out there since 1 am. A detective comes back over and says, ‘it won’t be much longer’ that we’ll be able to get in there, so by this time, I’m pissed. I’m screaming, and I’m like, ‘Why won’t you tell me where Breonna is? I need to know where Breonna is.’”
Palmer continued stating that the officer then looked at her and said, “Well, ma’am, she’s still in the apartment.”
“I knew what that meant,” she added, fighting back the tears. “I knew what it meant. He never said it, but I knew.”
Pinkett Smith then chimes in to ask Palmer if Taylor was taken to the hospital.
“They never even attempted to help her,” Palmer responds.
In the upcoming episode of RTT premiering on Wednesday (Oct. 12) at 12 pm ET on Facebook Watch, Palmer appears with Walker and Breonna Taylor’s sister Ju’Niyah Palmer.
Walker will also give a “minute-by-minute” recount of the shooting and his final moments with his girlfriend. Social Justice activists Tamika D. Mallory and Ju’Niyah will also discuss details associated with the case as they refer back to body camera footage from the officers that entered the apartment.
Draymond Green to be fined and not suspended for punching Jordan Poole
Draymond Green will not be suspended but fined for punching a teammate in the face during practice last week.
According to a Wednesday (Oct. 12) report by ESPN, the Golden State Warriors star will receive a hefty punishment from the NBA for his actions. However, the amount of the penalty has not been disclosed.
On Oct. 5, the 32-year-old basketball player assaulted Jordan Poole following a verbal confrontation. Several days later, on Saturday (Oct. 8), Green addressed the incident after a video clip of the assault went viral. “I was wrong for my actions. There’s a huge embarrassment that comes with [this]. Not only for myself, as I was the one who committed the action…but the embarrassment that Jordan has to deal with, the team [and] this organization. [And] also Jordan’s family. His family saw that video. His mother [and] his father saw that video. If my mother saw that video, I know how my mother would feel,” Green expressed.
According to Warriors coach Steve Kerr, Green will rejoin the team on Thursday (Oct. 13) after being away from the team since the incident. Additionally, Kerr confirmed that Green would not be suspended, despite the organization considering it. “This is the biggest crisis that we’ve had since I’ve been the coach here. It’s really serious stuff,” he said. “We’re not perfect…But we’re going to lean on the experience that we have together and trust that this is the best decision for our team. We have a lot of work to do. All of us.”
He added, “I trust him. He broke our trust with this incident. But I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt because I think he’s earned that. I think our team feels the same way.”
Kim Kardashian Shares NSFW Confession About Sex Life with Pete Davidson
Kim Kardashian is spilling the tea on her and Pete Davidson‘s sex life!
During the new episode of The Kardashians that aired at midnight on Thursday (October 13), the 41-year-old reality star wasn’t afraid to share some intimate details about her sex life with her now-ex boyfriend.
While chatting with grandma Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, Kim revealed that she and the 28-year-old SNL alum had sex in her “honor.”
“You know what’s so crazy? Pete and I were staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel last weekend, and we were sitting in front of the fireplace, just talking for hours,” Kim said to MJ, 88. “And I was like, ‘My grandma told me that you really live life when you have sex in front of the fireplace,’ and so we had sex in front of the fireplace in honor of you.”
Kim added with a laugh, “I know that’s really creepy.”
After hearing the story, MJ asked Kim, “Not in the lobby?”
“Not in the lobby!” Kim exclaimed. “But how creepy to think about your grandma before you have sex?”
While many people might find talking to your granddaughter about sex to be awkward, MJ wasn’t fazed at all by the conversation.
“I know, but I was younger once. I was younger once,” MJ added.
Oprah Winfrey Reveals She Had Double Knee Surgery Last Year
Oprah Winfrey is opening up about appreciating her health. On Tuesday night (October 11), the 68-year-old media mogul revealed on her Oprah Daily “The Life You Want” Class that she underwent double knee surgery in 2021, adding that it has given her a newfound gratitude for her body.
“I had double knee surgery last year. I had knee surgery in August, and then I had another knee surgery in November,” Oprah shared. “When I came home the first time, I literally could not lift my leg. I couldn’t lift my heel off of the bed, and I vowed if I was ever able to get up, walk around, and move again—that I would take advantage of movement, exercise, and of being able to be fully in my body.”
Following the two surgeries, Oprah has prioritized her health and focused more on exercising.
“As I was rehabilitating, I started hiking. Everyday, I tried to hike more and do more,” Oprah explained. “My appreciation for every organ and every limb has expanded exponentially.”
Earlier this year, Oprah revealed the amount of time that she spent inside her home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
LA City Council President Nury Martinez Officially Resigns After Protestors Shut Down Meeting Over Racist Audio Leak
LA City Council President Nury Martinez resigns after a few days of backlash in response to a racist audio leak involving her and other council members.
Previously the LA council President was caught on a profanity-laced recording making racist remarks about a white council member’s Black child.
She claimed her colleague, Mike Bonin, “handled his young Black son as though he were an accessory,” further describing Bonin’s son as a “changuito” in Spanish, or in English, “a little monkey.”
It is reported that she also referred to Indigenous Oaxacan immigrants residing in Koreatown as “short little dark people.”
Other council members Kevin de León and Bill Cedillo were also condemned, as they were heard laughing and making jokes on the recording as well.
Martinez would go on to announce her resignation on Sunday (October 9), but on Monday, she updated that she is taking responsibility for what she said, and will actually be taking a leave of absence instead of resigning.
In her statement on Sunday, she said: “I take responsibility for what I said and there are no excuses for those comments. I’m so sorry. sincerely apologize to the people I hurt with my words.”
Then on Monday she updated: “This has been one of the most difficult times of my life and I recognize this is entirely of my own making. At this moment, I need to take a leave of absence and take some time to have an honest and heartfelt conversation with my family, my constituents, and community leaders.”
De León and Cedillo also apologized but have not resigned. Meanwhile, Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera, who was also at the meeting where the comments were made, did resign on Sunday (October 9).
With no actions on behalf of De León and Cedillo, protestors went into further uproar. They ended up shutting down a city council meeting on Tuesday (October 11).
They demanded that all council members who were caught on the racist audio that leaked earlier this week resign, if they hadn’t already.
As protestors (from BLM-LA, LA Tenants Union, and elsewhere) demanded justice, the California Attorney General Rob Bonta spoke out and announced that he and his office are launching an independent investigation into the situation.
Bonta said the council members’ comments were “deeply concerning.” He added:
“Let me be absolutely clear: The job of a public official is to serve the people. We’re elected to represent our constituents to the best of our abilities, doing the most good for the most people. As a father and human being, I am deeply appalled by the remarks made by some of Los Angeles’ highest-ranking officials. Their comments were unacceptable, offensive, and deeply painful.
There is no place for anti-Black, antisemitic, anti-Indigenous, anti-LGBTQ, or any kind of discriminatory rhetoric in our state, especially in relation to the duties of a public official.
As Attorney General, I am committed to doing my part to ensure the rights of the people of California are protected. The decennial redistricting process is foundational for our democracy and for the ability of our communities to make their voices heard — and it must be above reproach. The leaked audio has cast doubt on a cornerstone of our political processes for Los Angeles.”
Following this, on Wednesday afternoon (October 12), Nury Martinez officially resigned from her post as LA City Council President.
In her letter, Martinez reflected on her career sitting on the council, and said her time there was “extremely difficult.” Despite everything, she added that she hoped her work with the city inspired other young Latina girls, as she made history becoming the first Latina president on the LA City Council panel.
Without directly addressing the audio, Martinez addressed her family and apologized for falling “short” of their expectation, but she vowed to “strive to be a better woman” and continue making them proud.
Jerry Falwell Jr. and wife's sex scandal is the subject of new Hulu doc.
In the new trailer for God Forbid: The Sex Scandal That Brought Down a Dynasty, Hulu's documentary on the scandal that ended with Jerry Falwell Jr. resigning from his position as head of Virginia's Liberty University, he and his wife Becki are described as "the southern Gatsbys." They wielded great influence over the evangelical community and hobnobbed with former President Donald Trump.
Then came Giancarlo Granda, a pool boy-turned-business partner of the Falwells, who alleged that he had a sexual relationship with Becki for roughly seven years and that her husband sometimes watched their encounters.
"As a pool attendant, I would get hit on," Granda says in the trailer for Hulu's Adam McKay-produced documentary released Wednesday. "But if I would have known that accepting this woman's invitation to go back to her hotel room would have led to a scandal involving the president of the largest Christian university in the world, and the president of the United States, I would have walked away and just enjoyed my private life."
When the Granda story exploded in August 2020, Falwell — already embroiled in controversy for other reasons — left his position at Liberty, the private institution that his father co-founded in 1971. He walked away with $10.5 million in pay, and without admitting to any wrongdoing, according to the Washington Post. Falwell denied that he had been involved with Granda, but he and his wife both said that she had had an affair with him.
"They have a public image, but behind the scenes, they're freaks," says Granda, whose book on the subject, Off the Deep End: Jerry and Becki Falwell and the Collapse of an Evangelical Dynasty, was released Sept. 27.

He alleges in the clip that Falwell "liked to record his wife having sex with me."
In response to that claim in the trailer, which premiered on People, Becki Fallwell told the magazine that that was incorrect. She cited a Vanity Fair story from January in which she said that she had made sex tapes with Granda, with his consent. Both Falwells have said that Granda has attempted to blackmail them, a claim that he has denied.
Comedian Tom Arnold was interviewed for the doc, too, because of his unlikely association with the story through former Trump attorney Michael Cohen.
Chris Colfer shades Glee costar Lea Michele's Funny Girl : 'I can be triggered at home'
The thought of watching Lea Michele in Funny Girl on Broadway isn't a gleeful one for Chris Colfer.
On Tuesday's episode of The Michelle Collins Show, Colfer responded to the host's question about whether or not he'd join her for a night out to catch the show in New York City.
"Oh, no, are you seeing Funny Girl?" Colfer asked Collins as the latter burst into laughter before she responded in the affirmative. "Oh. My day suddenly just got so full."
Colfer continued, "I saw Six last night, and that was amazing."
"So, you're not seeing [Funny Girl] is my guess, while you're in town?" Collins then asked, to which Colfer replied, "No, I can be triggered at home."
Colfer's remarks come two years after Glee actress Samantha Ware accused Michele of creating a toxic work environment on the set of the popular Fox musical series — a sentiment cast members Amber Riley and Alex Newell reacted to with memes encouraging Ware.
Amid the accusations, HelloFresh dropped the actress as a brand ambassador, and Michele issued an apology, promising to "be better."
She later addressed the controversy in a 2022 New York Times profile ahead of her Funny Girl debut.
"I have an edge to me," Michele said. "I work really hard. I leave no room for mistakes. That level of perfectionism, or that pressure of perfectionism, left me with a lot of blind spots."
Speaking to EW earlier this year, RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race contestants and former Glee stars Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale also responded to inquiries about their interest in Funny Girl.
"I haven't talked to her," McHale said. "We haven't talked in quite a while. Jenna and I talk every day, but I haven't spoken to her in a long time. So I haven't talked to her about Funny Girl." When asked about seeing the production, he replied he hasn't "thought about it" but hadn't ruled it out altogether.
Ushkowitz, however, was more direct in her exit interview tied to the VH1 reality competition.
"If I'm in New York, I will go see it. Broadway is home for me, and I'm sad that I missed Jane," Ushkowitz said, referring to another Glee star, Jane Lynch, who exited Funny Girl just ahead of Michele taking the reins from actress Beanie Feldstein. When pressed on whether she reached out to Michele to wish her well before the show, Ushkowitz replied, "I have not. I will leave it at that."
Alleged NYC Subway Shooter Refuses to Appear Before Court, U.S. Marshals Permitted to Use ‘All Necessary Force’
Frank James, the suspected NYC subway shooter, was revealed on Wednesday to have refused to appear before a federal court.
According to reports from WABC-TV and Courthouse News, New York judge William Kuntz responded to this refusal to appear by ordering the intervention of U.S. Marshals agents.
“Upon the defendant’s refusal to appear before the court when requested in connection with the above-captioned case, it is hereby ordered that the United States Marshals Service, their agents, and/or designees, use all necessary force to produce the above-named defendant … before this court,” Kuntz said in an order signed on Wednesday.
In April, James was hit with charges including conducting a violent attack on a mass transit vehicle. 29 passengers were injured during the attack, 10 of which were wounded by gunfire. Breon Peace, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, said at the time that James had “committed a heinous and premeditated attack on ordinary New Yorkers during their morning subway commute.”
Pizzeria Worker Claims Suspected Subway Shooter Cried ‘Like a Little Baby’ Before Arrest
As previously reported, James—who’s facing the potential of being sentenced to life in prison if convicted as charged—pleaded not guilty the following month.
When addressing the shooting during a speech one day after the attack, President Joe Biden expressed gratitude for those who were quick to help out others at the scene.
“We’re grateful for all the first responders who jumped into action, including civilians who didn’t hesitate to help their fellow passengers,” Biden said at the time.
Normani Opens Up About Her Mother’s Battle With Breast Cancer In An Emotional Op-Ed
In her own words Normani, who serves as an American Cancer Society ambassador, shares her family’s story and experience in her own words in an op-ed she pens for Elle Magazine. The Singer speaks on how she supported her mother as she faced this horrific diagnosis she also shared how she copped, all while recording her first album, Her Mom, who is now cancer free, has been diagnosed with breast cancer twice, the first time when she was just five years old and again in 2020, after 19 years of being cancer free. Normani hopes that by sharing her experience., she will help raise awareness about the importance of knowing your body and speaking up for the care you need. “My mom’s diagnosis taught me that early detection and not taking anything for granted are so important,” the singer, says. In her Elle op-ed, Normani educates how preventative measures such as regularly performing at-home breast screenings were potentially lifesaving in her mother’s prognosis and investigating family history with and genetics testing with your doctor. “I watched my mother find her own lumps both times she had breast cancer. She taught me the importance of looking out for changes in your breasts and educated me on what mammograms were at an early age. I also encourage anyone who has a family member with cancer to see that your family talks to a doctor about genetic testing. We have taken these measures as a family. Knowledge is power, so whatever you don’t know, don’t be afraid to ask.”
Normani, confesses that now she maximizes every single moment with her mom and loved one and prioritizes actually living instead of just existing. “I’ve had some of the most memorable moments of my life following my mother’s diagnosis. I know for a fact that I have already experienced the scariest time in my life with the thought of having to exist here without my mom. The things that scared me before no longer do.”
Claudia Jordan Denies Suspending Funky Dineva from Fox Soul Show
*Claudia Jordan and her “Tea-G-I-F” co-host Funky Dineva allegedly had a falling out that resulted in the latter being suspended from the show.
Popular YouTuber Michelle “ATLien” Brown exclusively reported that Jordan suspended Funky Dineva for insubordination after he mentioned her nemesis NeNe Leakes on the Fox Soul show.
As reported by SandraRose, Claudia has despised NeNe ever since the reality TV star allegedly got her fired from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” back in the day
The outlet writes, “So when Funky Dineva mentioned NeNe’s name during a recent episode, Claudia name-dropped Friend of the Blog Michelle Brown who once evicted Funky from one of her Atlanta properties.”
After the show, which is also co-hosted by Al Reynolds, Brown claims Jordan and Dineva got into a heated argument that allegedly resulted in Funkey Dineva being temporarily booted from the production.
When Brown unpacked the mess in a video on her YouTube channel, Claudia hit up the comments to post a lengthy message.
“Michelle GET Over US! This is fake news and it’s NOT true,” she wrote in the now-deleted comment. “He wasn’t suspended! And we didn’t get into an argument. We get along JUST fine and just spent a few days together in NYC and had a GREAT TIME.”
Penn State Student Organization’s Comedy Show Featuring Proud Boys Founder Will Go On In The Name Of ‘Free Speech’
Students at Penn State University are protesting after learning that thousands in student fees would be funding a Proud Boys event that will also be hosted at the college.
Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes and far-right media personality Alex Stein are set to appear at Penn State for their own comedy show on Oct. 24. The event was presented as a pitch by the college’s conservative social group Uncensored America. During the hour-long event, the two will reportedly discuss various political topics and people-related issues, including “political correctness, gender roles, and immigration.”
But some students aren’t here for the two showing up at their school to have a platform to share their personal ideologies, despite the school defending the show in the name of free speech. Many students have voiced that not only was McInnes’s Proud Boys group one of the leaders behind the violence that took place on Jan. 6, but he’s also infamous for spewing divisive, violent and racially charged rhetoric.
“‘Free Speech’ does not mean ‘enabling Gavin McInnes to develop and reinforce right-wing extremist networks while padding his wallet and prestige,’” reads a public petition that was sent to administrators at the university, Huffington Post reports. The petition is looking to get 1,600 signatures, and it’s already at 802. The petition was created by the Student Committee for Defense and Solidarity at Penn State.
“We demand that the Penn State administration deny Uncensored America permission to sponsor and platform Gavin McInnes with a speaking engagement,” the petition continued.
In a statement, the university condemned Mcinnes’s “vitriolic and hateful language” but maintained its position on allowing the event because it “fully supports the fundamental right of free speech.”
