#RHOA: Kandi Burruss Doubles Down On Leaving ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ If Phaedra Parks Returns

Kandi Burruss is standing her ground on the possibility of Phaedra Parks returning to the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and what that’ll mean for the singer-songwriter’s future on the show.

Kandi recently reiterated that she’ll issue a hard pass on continuing to be one of RHOA‘s mainstays if Phaedra ever re-joins the Bravo show’s lineup of successful ladies in Atlanta.

“I just don’t think that she and I need to interact,” Kandi explained as a guest on TMZ’s It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast. “I let her do her thing, and when they decide to do that, then, you know.”

“It’s not even about making nobody make a choice, because she’s on other shows or whatever,” the singer-songwriter said of Bravo executives not needing to decide between the two women since Phaedra’s been cast in other reality TV shows since the latter’s RHOA exit after Season 9.

Regarding the rumors of Phaedra’s return that often swirl, Kandi emphasized, “I don’t know what she wanna do, we ain’t talk.”

That was before the former Xscape bandmate additionally shut down the possibility of her and Phaedra making amends, because she feels the situation between her and Phaedra is simply “not fixable.”

“I just finished Season 14. When it comes out that’ll be thirteen seasons for me,” Kandi further highlighted.

“I said as long as they [Bravo] rocking with me I’ll rock with them because I’m still able to do other things I’m passionate about,” she said on how long she’ll be on RHOA. “So it’s not like it’s stopping me from doing anything else.”

This isn’t the first time Kandi’s said she’d leave RHOA if Phaedra came back onto the scene, so we’re not surprised she feels the same way.

Longtime fans of the popular Bravo series will recall that the two became close friends after Phaedra joined the cast in Season 3.

Unfortunately, things between the two soured when Phaedra claimed Kandi was unsupportive during her divorce from Apollo Nida, and Kandi argued Phaedra hadn’t been the most attentive friend either.

The tensions came to a head at the RHOA Season 9 reunion when it was exposed Phaedra was behind lies Porsha Williams spread that claimed Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker had a sex dungeon and planned to drug and rape Porsha.

Even though Phaedra — the forever iconic self-proclaimed Southern Bell — is sorely missed by many RHOA fans who enjoyed her sharp tongue and on point shade, no one can fault Kandi for being firm on her decision to leave the show if she ever returned.

Madeleine Albright, the first female secretary of state in U.S. history, has died at 84!

Madeleine Albright, the first female U.S. secretary of state, has died, according to a statement from her family.

Albright was 84, and the cause of death was cancer, her family said.

"She was surrounded by family and friends. We have lost a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend," the statement said.

She served as secretary of state from 1997 to 2001 during the Clinton administration.

"Hillary and I are profoundly saddened by the passing of Madeleine Albright. She was one of the finest secretaries of state, an outstanding UN ambassador, a brilliant professor, and an extraordinary human being," former President Bill Clinton said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. "Few leaders have been so perfectly suited for the times in which they served."

Albright was born in what was then Czechoslovakia and fled with her family after the Nazis occupied the country in 1939.

Albright's father Josef was part of the Czechoslovak Foreign Service and became ambassador to Yugoslavia, according to a biography from the State Department's Office of the Historian.

Her family moved to Denver, Colo., after the communist coup in 1948 in Yugoslavia, the Office of the Historian said. Albright became a U.S. citizen in 1957 and earned her bachelor's degree in political science with honors from Wellesley College in 1959. She earned a Ph.D. in Public Law and Government from Columbia University in 1976, the office added.

Albright's career in politics began as chief legislative assistant to the late Sen. Edmund Muskie, a Democrat from Maine, from 1976 to 1978. She would go on to serve as a White House staff member for former President Jimmy Carter and on the National Security Council from 1978 to 1981, the office added.

Before serving as secretary of state, she was appointed ambassador to the United Nations by Clinton in 1993.

"As secretary of state, Albright promoted the expansion of NATO eastward into the former Soviet bloc nations and the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons from the former Soviet republics to rogue nations," the Office of the Historian wrote.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the current U.S. ambassador to the U.N., called Albright "a trailblazer and a luminary" during a Wednesday meeting of the General Assembly Emergency Special Session on Ukraine.

"She left an indelible mark on the world and on the United Nations. Our country and our United Nations are stronger for her service," Thomas-Greenfield said.

Albright spoke with NPR last June ahead of a meeting in Geneva between Russian and U.S. leaders. Albright recalled the first time she met Russian President Vladimir Putin, in 1999. He was "trying very hard to ingratiate himself with President Clinton," she said.

"Well, my first impression was that he was kind of trying to figure out who he was. But my impression in the second two meetings were that he very much liked the background of being in the Kremlin with all its history, that he was smart, that he was prepared and that he had a view about how things were going to go,"

Cardi B – Blogger Tasha K Files Appeal Weeks After Being Ordered To Pay Rapper $4 Million

It looks like Tasha K was serious when she said she doesn’t have $4 million to pay out!

The YouTube blogger who was ordered to pay Cardi B $4 million in damages for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress, is now taking her case to the higher court in hopes it will overturn the multi-million-dollar judgment against her.

According to Radar, Tasha K’s (real name Latasha Kebe) legal team filed an appeal on Thursday, March 17, just one month after a jury found her liable over statements she made on her Youtube channel about Cardi B. The filing reads,

“The above-named Defendants, Latasha Kebe and Kebe Studios LLC, appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from the final judgment entered on February 17, 2022. Respectfully submitted this 17th day of March, 2022.”

This move by Tasha K and her legal time comes after the media personality publicly stated that she did not have the funds to pay Cardi B. During an interview with Kendra G of Social Society, Taska K suggested that she has a few more legal moves up her sleeve and doesn’t plan on actually paying. When asked about coming up with the funds to cover the damages, the internet personality jokingly answered:

“I ain’t got it! Don’t ask me for no money!”

Tasha got serious and continued:

“We have business things in place that takes care of things like this. Now, of course, the appellate court and the supreme court is in process right now.”

Reportedly, Tasha K has yet to file her brief explaining the reasons why she believes the judgment should be reversed.

Judge ends lengthy conservatorship for actor Amanda Bynes

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Actor Amanda Bynes was released Tuesday from a court conservatorship that put her life and financial decisions in her parents’ control for nearly nine years.

Ventura County Superior Court Judge Roger Lund terminated the conservatorship at a hearing in a courtroom in the Southern California city of Oxnard, her attorney David A. Esquibias said.

“The court determines that the conservatorship is no longer required and that grounds for establishment of a conservatorship of the person no longer exist,” Lund wrote in court documents outlining the case before he issued his decision.

Bynes, now 35, shot to fame on a pair of Nickelodeon shows as a teenager, but struggles with mental health, substance abuse and the law prompted her parents to establish court control through a conservatorship in 2013.

Lund said this week that Bynes had demonstrated competency to manage her own affairs, including her mental health and other medical treatment.

Bynes’ conservatorship played out, and came to an end, far more quietly and less contentiously than that of Britney Spears, who had a long, often bitter and public fight to free herself from a similar arrangement.

Bynes’ parents agreed that the conservatorship should end and no one else objected to the court’s decision. Her mother, Lynn Bynes, had acted as her conservator since it was established nearly nine years ago.

At the time, her parents told the court they were deeply concerned that their daughter, then 27, might have hurt herself or others unless they were allowed to assume control of her medical care and finances.

They said Bynes had engaged in disturbing behavior, and was convinced she was being watched through smoke detectors and her car’s dashboard. Her parents feared she was also planning unnecessary and dangerous cosmetic surgeries.

In the year before the conservatorship was established, Bynes was arrested in New York for throwing a marijuana bong out of her 36th-floor Manhattan apartment, and in Los Angeles for driving under the influence, misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license. Her parents said she also set a fire on the driveway of a home in the Los Angeles suburb of Thousand Oaks, where she grew up.

Bynes was 13 when she landed her own hit variety program, “The Amanda Show” on Nickelodeon and also appeared on the network’s sketch series “All That.” She went on to star in the TV series “What I Like About You” and in movies, including “What a Girl Wants,” ″Hairspray” and “She’s the Man.”

She has not acted since the 2010 Emma Stone film “Easy A” and has publicly said she retired from acting.

Bynes has said in interviews that she has been sober for several years and she is studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Suspect in Young Dolph Murder Case Reportedly Attacked by Fellow Jail Inmate

Justin Johnson, a suspect in the murder of Young Dolph, was allegedly attacked at Tennessee’s Shelby County Jail on Friday, TMZ reports.

The 23-year-old who’s said to use the stage name Straight Drop was identified as a suspect in the November shooting when he shared a music video filmed at the residence where police found a getaway car tied to the murder.

Now being charged with first-degree murder, Johnson was reportedly punched in the face by a fellow inmate while on a call in the visitation area of the jail. His lawyer Juni Ganguli says Johnson was not seriously injured and TMZ reports there was no known motive for the attack.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there was an incident on Friday involving Johnson, which is currently being investigated. The department also reports no injuries.

Johnson, who claimed innocence in Dolph’s killing and reportedly promised to turn himself in back in January, was arrested for the murder along with 32-year-old Cornelius Smith, who was also hit with charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm and theft of property over $10,000. A man named Shundale Barnett was arrested alongside Johnson and charged with being an accessory. Devin Burns and Joshua Taylor, both 26, were announced as wanted in connection to the murder in February.

Lil Baby, J. Cole and Doja Cat to headline Lollapalooza

With COVID-19 cases declining and mask mandates throughout the country dwindling, it’s safe to say that outside is back open — just in time for festival season.

Music fans and those who are just finally ready to get out of the house will be thrilled to know that Lollapalooza has just announced its 2022 Chicago lineup. The event will take place July 28-31 at the historic Grant Park in Chicago. If that’s not enough to get you excited, take a look at the scheduled entertainers — J. Cole, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Big Sean, Jasmine Sullivan and more.

Ticket prices start at $350 for a 4-day general admission pass and go to $4,200 for the platinum 4-day package — which includes access to climate-controlled lounges to keep you cool in the summer heat, golf cart shuttle transportation, complimentary lockers to store your valuables and official merch, to name a few amenities. There are also hotel packages on the Lollapalooza site if you plan on traveling out of state for the event. If you’re waiting until your next paycheck, but don’t want to miss out, there are layaway packages available as well with general admission starting as low as $19.99 down.

Doja Cat recently performed at the Lollapalooza festival in Argentina, where she spotted a fan in distress and paused her show for about five minutes until she was able to see that the fan was properly attended to. Many celebs have been sensitive to events like this following the tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival which claimed the lives of 10 and injured dozens more in November 2021.

Also on the line-up for the Chicago Lollapalooza is Jasmine Sullivan, who recently had to cancel many tour dates as she recovered from COVID-19.

The event will feature nine stages with over 170 acts, food and drinks, and enough Instagram-worthy photo ops to celebrate the return of outside.

Beyoncé will perform at the 2022 Oscars

It’s official – Beyoncé will headline the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 20). According to Deadline, she also secured a nod for Best Original Song with her track “Be Alive” from the King Richard soundtrack.

It is not yet clear if Queen Bey’s performance will follow last year’s format of taking place during the pre-show. However, it is rumored that a tennis court in Compton may be the backdrop for the performance. This would be in line with the theme of King Richard, which is a biopic of tennis icons Venus and Serena Williams, as well as their father, Richard.

The film secured Will Smith his first ever Golden Globe award earlier this year for Best Performance By An Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama.

The 40-year-old singer scored her first Oscar nomination for the track, co-written by Dixson. If she wins, it will add yet another plaque for the legend, who has already won the most Grammy Awards (28) by a female singer in history. Beyoncé has been called an “evolution” of Michael Jackson by her husband, JAY-Z, who himself has 22 Grammys.

Beyoncé’s infamous Coachella performance was recently parodied in Tyler Perry’s A Madea Homecoming, which debuted at No. 1 on Netflix. He says that he sent her a clip for her approval, which she delightfully gave. Fans are speculating that some new music will potentially drop following the performance after nearly a four-year hiatus. Next month marks the 6th anniversary of Lemonade, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and became the best-selling album of 2016.

Also confirmed in the Best Original Song category is Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas with “No Time To Die.” Billie recently made headlines for her comments on Astroworld, prompting a swift response by Kanye West, who will headline this year’s Coachella. See the category’s other nominees below.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was recently confirmed as a presenter, joining Halle Bailey, Chris Rock, Lupita Nyong’o, and Daniel Kaluuya amongst others. The 94th Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theater and will broadcast on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Wendy Williams Says She’s In The Process Of Getting Her Show Back While Talking To Fans In Miami

Wendy Williams was reportedly overheard telling fans she’s in the process of getting her show back after touching down in Miami. Deets on her trip to South Florida, plus Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter says he has a message about “ungodly things.” More inside…

Less than a week after giving her first interview since her daytime talk show was canceled, Wendy Williams is back in the headlines.

The 57-year-old daytime talk show host was spotted hopping on a flight out of Newark Airport headed to Miami with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr. TMZ photogs noted Wendy didn’t use a wheelchair, which fans have seen her use over the last year or so as she struggles with Graves’ disease and a thyroid condition.

After arriving in Miami around 12:30AM, sources told TMZ that Wendy was overheard telling a fan she was in the process of getting her show back and that she’s working things out with her money.

You’ll recall, Wendy appeared on “Good Morning America” (via telephone) for an interview where she told her Wendy Watchers she’s ready to get BACK to work - just give her a few months to work on some “private things.”

“Give me about three months,” she said in the phone interview. “There are private things that I have to deal with and then I’ll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing.”

Last month, producers of “The Wendy Show” confirmed the show would end after 14 seasons. Gust co-host Sherri Shepherd - who became a fan favorite - will take over Wendy’s time slot with her own self-titled talk show, "Sherri," set to premiere this fall.

Amid her health and career struggles, the media personality was also dealing with a legal battle with Wells Fargo Bank after they froze her accounts for two months, which she revealed prevented her from fulfilling her financial obligations, including mortgage payments and employee payroll.

“They say that I need somebody to handle my account. And I don’t want that,” she explained. “I want all my money. I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life. My entire life. I don’t lie, I don’t cheat and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hard-working person.”

In the legal court documents, Wells Fargo froze her accounts and requested a hearing for temporary guardianship where they referred to the popular daytime talk show host as an “incapacitated” person. According to the TV host, that’s not the truth.

“I want to spend more time with my family,” Wendy said. “And you know, working out and waiting for the responses to my money situation and Wells Fargo. And they don’t like that. I’ve worked hard every single day, even on days when you know, I might have a little cold.”

Since Wendy jetted to Miami, fans are speculating if she'll film for "Real Housewives of Miami." Last January, Wendy mentioned to Andy Cohen she would join the show as a "friend."

‘The Love Boat’ Getting Reality TV Reboot on U.S. and Australian TV

“The Love Boat” soon will be making another run, promising something for everyone — but this time as a reality dating series.

CBS and its sister Australian broadcaster Network 10 have both ordered local versions of “The Real Love Boat,” set to air in the U.S. and Australia later this year. The show is exactly what it sounds like: A reality dating competition show, but patterned after the hit 1970s hour-long comedy “The Love Boat.”

And just as Princess Cruises served as the backdrop to the scripted series, the cruise line’s ships will also serve as a setting for the new unscripted shows.

“The Love Boat” was produced by Aaron Spelling, whose company was later purchased by Viacom — eventually leading to the “Love Boat” IP being owned by CBS Studios. CBS and Network 10 are now Paramount Global brands.

“‘The Love Boat’ is a timeless, romantic concept with universal appeal, and we’re excited to reimagine this popular series for audiences in two different countries,” George Cheeks, president and chief executive officer of CBS, and head of global content strategy for Paramount’s free-to-air networks (including Network 10), said in a statement. “On the heels of ‘NCIS: Sydney,’ today’s announcement is another example of our global franchise strategy to use our rich intellectual property and vast international footprint to develop new content for viewers around the world.”

Production on the pair of “The Real Love Boat” series will begin this summer. According to the logline, “‘The Real Love Boat’ brings singles together to cruise the Mediterranean on a luxury cruise ship while looking for love. Destination dates, challenges and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series, the indispensable crew members including ‘captain’ and ‘cruise director’ will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.”

Contestants will spend nearly a month at sea, but just one winning couple will make it to the final port and win a cash prize plus a trip courtesy of Princess Cruises, which serves as the series’ exclusive cruise line partner.

“The Love Boat’ has been synonymous with the Princess brand for more than 45 years since the world was introduced to glamour and elegance of the Princess experience,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. “We look forward to millions coming aboard our iconic ships as we are expecting you on ‘The Real Love Boat.’”

Eureka Productions is producing “The Real Love Boat” in association with Buster Productions. Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, and Wes Dening serve as executive producers for Eureka.

“The Love Boat” originally aired on ABC from 1977 to 1986, starring Gavin MacLeod as Captain Merrill Stubing, whose ship featured a cast of regulars in addition to weekly guests who came aboard for love, exciting and new. A sequel, “Love Boat: The Next Wave,” starring Robert Urich, aired on UPN from 1998 to 1999.

The original “Love Boat” cast – including MacLeod, Fred Grandy (Gopher, the chief purser), Ted Lange (Isaac, the bartender), Bernie Kopell (Doc, the ship’s doctor), Lauren Tewes (cruise director Julie) and Jill Whelan (Vicki, the captain’s daughter) reunited over the years for various events, including a celebration in 2015 for Princess Cruises’ 50th anniversary, and in 2017 to receive a joint star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (MacLeod died last year.)

This isn’t the first time a scripted series has been reimagined as a reality show (and that’s not even including CBS’ infamous attempt in the early 2000s to air “The Real Beverly Hillbillies,” which was scrapped after considerable outcry). TBS ran “The Real Gilligan’s Island” in 2004-2005, for example. Also in 2004, VH1 had “In Search of the Partridge Family,” a competition to find a new generation of “Partridge Family” stars. ABC ran “High School Musical: Get in the Picture,” a competition show based on the “High School Musical” franchise, in 2008. In the early 2010s, Oxygen aired two seasons of “The Glee Project,” a competition series where the winner would be cast on “Glee.” More recently, Fox raided film IP this year for the competition show “The Real Dirty Dancing.”

CBS and Network 10 are casting for their local versions of “The Real Love Boat.”

“Audiences really connected with the fun and escapism of ‘The Love Boat,’” said Mitch Graham, senior vice president, alternative programming, CBS. “The iconic series embodied the many possibilities of people making new, meaningful connections. Reimagining it as a dating show with competition, adventure and romance makes ‘The Real Love Boat’ an ideal fit for our schedule and viewers.”

Dog Who Was Abandoned At Animal Shelter For Being “Gay” Has Been Adopted By A North Carolina Couple

According to TMZ, the dog who was abandoned by his owners and dropped off at a shelter because he humped another dog has now been adopted by a North Carolina couple.

Steve Nichols spoke with TMZ and said he and his partner, John, adopted Fezco Tuesday after hearing the sad news about him getting abandoned by his prior human parents.

Nichols says it was an automatic connection with the dog not just because he and John are a part of the LGBTQ community, but because they faced plenty of discrimination in the past as well. Once they were accepted to do adopt the dog they thought it would be a great idea to change his name to ‘Oscar.’

According to his new parents they named him Oscar because it is after a famous poet and play writer named Oscar Wilde who was also gay.

Once the news broke about the dog being disowned by its human parents it sparked a lot of outrage on Twitter and Instagram. Rapper, Cardi B shared a tweet saying, “Can dogs be gay or lesbian?” which many of fans replied back saying that’s what dogs do

'Jeopardy!' contestants' wrong answers cause outrage among Diana Ross fans

Dianna Ross found herself trending on Twitter after her fans took offense to some wrong answers on Monday's Jeopardy!. The Final Jeopardy! category was "Singers," and the clue was: "In 2021 at age 95, this singer achieved a Guinness World Record for the oldest person to release an album of new material.” Per usual, host Ken Jennings started with the contestant in third place — which, in this case, was Margaret Chipowsky.

“What 95-year-old singer did you think of?”Jennings asked. “‘Who is Tony Bennett?’ That is correct. So you'll be adding to that $9,800. You land with $18,800. Wow. A big wager.”

Chipowsky wasn’t the only person who knew the answer. The legendary crooner himself, Tony Bennett, took to Twitter imply he also knew the correct answer.

Unfortunately, contestants Finn Corrigan and Karen Johnson did not know the correct answer. The two contestants surprisingly guessed the same wrong answer, Diana Ross. The 77-year-old Supremes singer, who put on a fabulous performance at the 2019 Grammys, has millions of devoted fans… and many of them came out of the woodwork to share in their dismay. In fact, Ross was a trending topic on Twitter.

Even though there have been many more atrocious answers in Jeopardy! history, according to Ross's fans, this was the worst. Ross's fans were so upset that the contestants took to Twitter following the broadcast to explain their incorrect answers.

And despite all the ruffled boa feathers, the memorable moment worked out great for one contestant.

“That means with $18,800, Margaret Chipowsky, you are our Jeopardy! Champion,” Jennings said. “From third place to Jeopardy! Champ just like that.”

Stormy Daniels Ordered To Pay Donald Trump $300,000 After Court Rejects Defamation Case Appeal: ‘I Will Go To Jail Before I Pay A Penny’

Former porn star Stormy Daniels has to cough up a whole bunch of money to Donald Trump after a federal court ordered her to pay him $300,000 in attorney fees after it rejected her appeal.

The ruling by the US Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit followed an earlier ruling by a lower court that rejected Daniels’ defamation suit against Trump after he refuted her claims that they had sex in 2006.

Following the unfortunate news, Daniels tweeted: “I will go to jail before I pay a penny.” Meanwhile, Trump is ecstatic over the ruling. In a statement issued Monday night to CBS News, he called it “a total and complete victory and vindication for, and of me.” He added, “The lawsuit was a purely political stunt that never should have started, or allowed to happen, and I am pleased that my lawyers were able to bring it to a successful conclusion after the court fully rejected her appeal,” Trump said. “Now all I have to do is wait for all of the money she owes me.”

The amount Daniels owes Trump in the case is about the same amount she was swindled out of by his former lawyer, Michael Avenatti.

Hillary Clinton Reveals She Tested Positive for COVID-19

The two-time presidential candidate confirmed her diagnosis via Twitter on Tuesday, saying she’s experiencing mild cold-like symptoms, but is otherwise “feeling fine.” Clinton credited her condition to the COVID vaccine, and urged others to get the jab and a booster if they’ve yet to do so.

“I’m more grateful than ever for the protection vaccines can provide against serious illness,” the 74-year-old wrote. “Please get vaccinated and boosted if you haven’t already!”

Clinton went on to say that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, tested negative for the virus and is also “feeling fine,” but he’s self-quarantining as a precaution.

Bill Clinton’s spokesperson, Angel Ureña, tweeted the 75-year-old former POTUS will continue to be tested within the upcoming days.

Shortly after Hillary Clinton shared the news, the Clinton Foundation issued a “friendly reminder” on Twitter.

Hillary Clinton is the latest political figure to contract the virus in recent weeks. Earlier on Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced she would not accompany President Joe Biden to his upcoming European trip, as she had tested positive for COVID-19. The White House confirmed Psaki had been in meetings with Biden on Monday, but the president tested negative Tuesday via PCR test.

“I had two socially-distanced meetings with the President yesterday, and the President is not considered a close contact as defined by CDC guidance,” Psaki said in a statement. “I am sharing the news of my positive test today out of an abundance of transparency.”

Sex and the City Revival And Just Like That… Renewed for Season 2 at HBO Max: 'Can't Wait'

Controversial “Sex and the City” spinoff series “And Just Like That” has been renewed for Season 2.

via: People The hit Sex and the City revival has been renewed for a second season, HBO Max announced Tuesday. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are all set to return as their respective characters — Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs and Charlotte York Goldenblatt — as they navigate love, friendship and their careers in New York City.

“I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors,” executive producer Michael Patrick King said in a statement. “The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back.”

Sarah Aubrey, the Head of Original Content at HBO Max, added that they’ve been “delighted by the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love so much.”

“We are proud of the work Michael Patrick King and our wonderful writers, producers, cast and crew have done to bring these stories to the screen,” she concluded. “We can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for season 2!”

The renewal comes after a highly successful first season for AJLT, which became the streaming service’s strongest debut to date, performing better than any other premiere for an HBO Max Original series.

The 10-episode revival followed Carrie as a widow rediscovering herself with the help of her friends after the shocking death of her husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth). Season 1 ended with Carrie slowly re-entering the dating world.

Mr. Big’s death on the series premiere was one of the most talked-about moments from the show. Days after the first episode aired, Noth was accused of sexual assault from several women, prompting a public response from the principal cast of And Just Like That… as well as his removal from a planned flashback scene in the finale. (Noth has adamantly denied all allegations of misconduct.)

The show’s cast also included Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler.

Partway through production on the show’s debut season, Garson died in September after quietly battling pancreatic cancer. He was 57. His character Stanford Blatch was written off the show by way of an impromptu move to Japan.

A premiere date for the second season of AJLT has not yet been announced.

Megan Thee Stallion Claps Back at Twitter User Who Questioned Her Bullet Wound

Another day another clap back. Megan Thee Stallion is getting tired of people questioning if she was really shot by Tory Lanez.

On Monday, one Twitter user questioned her credibility by saying, “At this point Megan Thee Stallion is going to have to show us the bullet wound or something.”

It didn’t take long for Meg to snap at the user for not using her critical thinking skills and believing survivors.

“Bitches like this have ACTUAL CUM FOR BRAINS,” Meg tweeted. “Dick eating ass bitches. My hospital records are public record the DA has made a statement… yall choosing to be dumb at this point. You better hope a man never assaults you and nobody especially women believe you!”

Kelly Clarkson sets the record straight on name change to Kelly Brianne

Kelly Clarkson is opening up about her name change.

Amid the singer's divorce from Brandon Blackstock, she requested that her legal name, Kelly Clarkson, be restored having used Kelly Blackstock during their marriage. Then, last month, she petitioned the court to change her legal last name to just her first and middle names: Kelly Brianne. However, she isn't expecting the public to start calling her that.

"I just got divorced, so I had to drop my married last name," Clarkson, 39, explained to People on Monday. Kelly Brianne will just be "for my personal life," she noted, and not a new stage or professional name.

"I'm still Kelly Clarkson," she clarified.

Besides, getting everyone to call her something else after all these years in the limelight would be tricky.

"I don't think I can change Clarkson [professionally] at this point. I'm 20 years in!" said The Kelly Clarkson Show host, who never went by Kelly Blackstock professionally either.

In her February petition to change her name to Kelly Brianne, Clarkson said she has the "desire" to change her name for personal reasons. She did share: “My new name more fully reflects who I am."

Dropping "Clarkson" shouldn't be that much of a surprise as she was estranged from her father before his death in 2018. Her parents divorced when she was 6 and she was raised by her mother, who remarried. She's called her dad "toxic." She said she would reach out to him but he wouldn't reciprocate, which was humiliating. She always wondered even he was "even capable" of love.

In June 2020, Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock, under her married name, after nearly seven years of marriage and two children together. It's been contentious, but the pair reached a settlement this month.

Court documents stated Clarkson would pay the talent manager a one-time payment of $1,326,161, as well as monthly payments of $115,000 in spousal support until Jan. 31, 2024, and $45,601 monthly in child support for kids, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5.

Clarkson and Blackstock will share joint legal custody of their kids. However, she has primary custody of their children in Los Angeles, where she is based. Blackstock has custody the first and fifth weekends of each month — with Clarkson paying a one-time payment of $350,000 for their children's private air travel.

The exes also divided properties and assets. Clarkson gets two Montana properties and one in California. Blackstock, who has been residing in one of their Montana homes, will pay $2,000 a month in rent for one property and $12,500 per month for the second until he vacates on or before June 1, 2022.

Ice Cube Shuts Down Rumor About ‘Friday’ Reboot

A rumor that the fourth installment of Friday will soon be released via HBO Max has caught the attention of actor-rapper Ice Cube.

“A ‘Friday’ prequel is in the works for HBO max,” a user, who goes by @OhThatMarco, tweeted Monday morning. “Comedian druski and rapper Vince Staples are attached the lead roles.”

The user followed up with another tweet, claiming that Ice Cube’s son, who is also an actor, wrote the script, stating. “O’Shea Jackson Jr. the writer of the script says the Movie will go into production this sometime summer.”

Ice Cube, who played Craig Jones in the Friday film franchise, and co-wrote the stoner trilogy with DJ Pooh, reshared the tweet, adding: “This is blasphemy.”

Ice Cube’s son then responded with a simple, “CAP.”

The original user later retweeted one of their older posts that read: “Twitter is all about lying, joking and spreading misinformation,” along with a heart emoji, ultimately debunking their initial claim, Complex reports.

The original Friday debuted in 1995 and starred Ice Cube, comedian Chris Tucker as Smokey, as well as late actors John Witherspoon as Willie Jones and Tommy “Tiny” Lister Jr. as Deebo. The original was followed by Next Friday (2000) and Friday After Next (2002), which both starred Mike Epps as Day-Day.

Two decades later, there was talk that a fourth installment—tentatively titled Last Friday—was in the works, but according to the Wall Street Journal, disagreements between Ice Cube and WarnerMedia over the creative direction of the film halted production. The possibility of a reboot is made even less likely with the passing of Witherspoon and Lister.

During Witherspoon’s funeral in late 2019, Ice Cube delivered an emotional speech about his co-star, who played his “pops” in the franchise, saying that he regretted not making the movie before Witherspoon’s death.

“I really apologize to my friend for not getting the next Friday movie made,” Ice Cube said, according to Hip Hop DX. “It’s not my fault. Some dumbass people in Hollywood at New Line Cinema, if you wanna… you can email Toby Emmerich and Richard Brener if you feel like I feel. Yeah, you punks had two scripts and you didn’t wanna do them.”

He added, “That’s the real. We were tryin’ to make that movie for years and we couldn’t get it done. We got the other three and we got our memories.”

Long Beach rapper Vince Staples, who was rumored to star in the reboot, doesn’t appear to have responded to the post directly, but tweeted a few hours later: “Y’all kinda dumb on here.” Also, Druski tweeted an emoji of a baseball cap, indicating that the post was fabricated.
