Aunjanue Ellis For Rolling Out She talks about King Richard
To say Aunjanue Ellis is a master of bringing people to life is evidenced by her catalog of work. With roles in “Lovecraft Country,” “When They See Us,” and “The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel,” Ellis’ ability to bring real people alive on-screen is second to none.

Though King Richard centers on Richard Williams, father of tennis icons Venus and Serena Williams, their mother, Oracene Price, is just as pivotal to their success.

Ellis, born in San Francisco and raised in Mississippi, says these roles allow her to be a voice for the many stories of Black women that are often overlooked or completely erased.

Ellis spoke to rolling out about Price’s contribution to the rise of the Williams sisters. Beyond parenting, she was on the court alongside Richard cultivating her daughters to become two of the greatest sports champions ever born.

The journey for Black women in any profession can be an arduous one. Did you find any parallels between you and Oracene Price’s journey?
I don’t know if it’s necessarily any parallels to my journey in acting. Still, I understand how Black women and our stories and histories get marginalized and erased.

When I started to work on the film, I discovered that Ms. Price was as much on the court as Mr. Williams [was as he] taught those girls how to play. Mr. Williams would be on one court. Ms. Oracene would be on another court. They put in equal time. Beyond that, Ms. Oracene trained herself for a couple of years to teach so that she could be a coach. Her focus mainly fell on Serena, so a lot of what you see [from Serena] is by Ms. Oracene’s design. Mr. Williams was the architect of the dream, but Oracene was the builder of that dream.

Is your approach to embodying real-life people like Oracene or Mattie Moss Clark different to how you shaped your  “Lovecraft Country” character Hippolyta Freeman?

The gift is that you can sometimes talk to, you can sometimes speak to the person and speak to their family members. I didn’t get a chance to do that with Ms. Oracene.

I feel like I’m their voice. If someone didn’t put this character, or this real woman in this real story [they could’ve told the story of King Richard, and Ms. Oracene not be in it all], no one would have questioned it. It’s a joy to give that give voice to these extraordinary, extraordinary women.

The Williams sisters continue to be the focal point of negativity, among other things. How does King Richard immpact that history?

That will always be. It has been for centuries at this point for us [Black women]. This film is not going to solve that.

I know that when I perform, and I’m not trying to make this about me, but I’m speaking about the quadruple pressure that Black women feel. I know what it’s like to have performed in something thinking you’ve done your best.
And then when it’s done, you have people who are outraged and angry with you because you did it. I understand that pressure and the burden that is particularly hard on Black women. Black men don’t face that in the same way Black women [do]. They don’t. They have their own pressures. I’m not underselling that at all.

But Black women, we feel it. God knows we feel it. I love the Williams sisters because the tennis industry has been trying to keep up with these women, and they still have not caught up to them. They have not caught up to the genius of the Williams sisters, and they never will.

It’s a joy to watch these women who defy expectations, who are so liberated and unapologetic about who they are. So I’m like, “Hey, keep the hate.” They hate because they’re [the Williams sisters] are doing something right.

They’re heroes to me.

Now that you’ve done all this filming, how’s your tennis game?

I was in lessons three times a week. They had a tennis professional, a former tennis professional who is now a coach. He gave me lessons for a while [since] the beginning of 2020. I can do a little something — more than I could do before.

#RHOA: Kenya Shares the Most Hilarious Photo of Brooklyn
Kenya Moore just experienced the most hilarious fashion mishap with her daughter, Brooklyn Daly, as The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member captured in a funny photo on Instagram.

On December 2, Kenya took to her Instagram Stories to showcase exactly what happened when her 2-year-old got her hands on a set of nude-colored pasties – and the results are just as comical as you would expect. As showcased in the picture, little Brooklyn didn’t know quite what to make of the undergarments and ended up pulling a classic toddler move: attaching the pasties to her face like a set of eyes.
“Let’s not asked how this happened,” Kenya wrote in the caption of the photo, also adding a face palm and tears of laughter emojis. Now that is too funny!

It looks like Brooklyn can’t help but be drawn to fashion, just like her mom – and she’s already emulating Kenya’s sense of style. Back in September, she celebrated her mom’s debut on Dancing with the Stars by dressing up in a red ballgown that looked just Kenya’s costume.

#MusicNews: Mary J. Blige Announces New Album ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’
Mary J. Blige is back to take her throne. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has officially announced that her 15th studio album, Good Morning Gorgeous, will arrive on Feb. 11, 2022.
On Friday, she released the first two singles, “Good Morning Gorgeous” and “Amazing” featuring DJ Khaled, via her newly-launched label, Mary Jane Productions in partnership with 300 Entertainment.

“Good Morning Gorgeous” features production and writing from D’Mile, H.E.R., Lucky Daye, and Tiara Thomas, while “Amazing” was produced by DJ Khaled, STREETRUNNER, and Tarik Azzouz.
“Working on this new album has been so much fun,” said Blige. “I’m excited for my fans to hear these first two songs to give them a taste of what’s to come. I’m grateful to all my collaborators and partners who have walked with me through this process and even more grateful to my fans who I hope have a blast with this new music.”

In a recent interview with Tamron Hall, she added, “Wait till you hear it, it’s gonna blow everybody’s mind. And it’s because it’s something I had to do, and something I had to say when I was in my darkest, darkest moments in that life, to build myself up to this person that I can see and accept my nose, accept my eyes, accept my cheeks, accept all the things that I used to hate.”

Two days after the album’s release, the R&B icon will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar.

Good Morning Gorgeous follows Mary’s 2017 album Strength of a Woman.

#HipHopNews: 50 Cent And French Montana Squash Beef
50 Cent and French Montana are putting their beef behind them. After going back and forth over the years, the rap rivals have seemingly settled their issues.
During his appearance on Revolt’s “Drink Champs,” French was asked about their feud and confirmed that he’s moved on, namely because he’s a fan of 50’s Starz series “Black Mafia Family.”

“I have no problem with 50 no more after he dropped his ‘BMF’ joint. That’s my favorite shit,” French told N.O.R.E. “Everything is all about the ‘BMF.’ That’s his best work.”
His comments were enough to appease 50, who reposted the clip and dismissed their feud.

“That was the right answer French, well handled,” he wrote in his caption. “What beef, I don’t remember.”

Back in 2019, 50 accused French of buying a used Bugatti and faking his streams for his single “Writing on the Wall” featuring Post Malone, Cardi B, and Rvssian. French fired back, calling 50 a “sensitive dinosaur” and posting a Photoshopped image of 50 kissing Eminem.

Jazmine Sullivan Clears the Air On Resellers Buying Up ‘Heaux Tales’ Tour Tickets
Jazmine Sullivan is heading out on tour. The Heaux Tales Tour tickets went on sale last week and immediately sold out as fans and ticket resellers flocked vendors in order to score a seat or a quick buck. Many online who were unable to obtain a ticket believe that the resellers won more as resale tickets instantly popped up online with double the price of the original cost.

“I want to address what’s happening with my tour tickets. The reality is these are regular people who purchased tickets and are reselling them for a profit,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “It’s not right but that’s what happening.”
Sullivan also stated it’s hard to track down the fans because they are purchasing them as any other normal person. “I just felt like I needed to say something because I hate to see my true fans upset and unable to purchase tickets that they’ve been waiting for.”

Sullivan would also detail her team is working to upgrade venues for certain shows in order to release more tickets and combat resellers

Shaun King’s Daughter Hit By Car, Recovering In Hospital!
The activist said that his daughter suffered brain and bodily injuries after being hit by a car in Manhattan
Activist Shaun King shared that his 19-year-old daughter suffered serious brain and bodily injuries after being hit by a car in Manhattan.
“24 of the hardest hours of our lives,” the social justice activist wrote, breaking the news to his followers in an Instagram post early in the morning on Sunday.
King shared a video showing his daughter, Kendi, in a hospital bed, and explained that he has been with her in the ICU “since yesterday morning.”

“We have every reason to believe she will recover and she is receiving excellent medical care,” he said, assuring fans that she is expected to make a full recovery, adding that he is “watching her like a hawk.”

The father of four continued the post by asking people to “please pray for Kendi” and hoping that she heals 100% with no setbacks.
King’s post elicited the responses of several well-known figures praying for the full recovery of his daughter and healing for the family.

Several Love and Hip Hop stars, including Yandy Smith and Juliette “JuJu” Casteneda, sent their well-wishes to his family. Smith commented, “My God. Prayers, In Jesus name she is healed.”
While JuJu commented praying emoji hands, along with several other entertainers like television host Niecy Nash, comedian Cedric the Entertainer, rapper Lady Luck and radio personality Rickey Smiley.

Dr. Yusef Salaam, one of the members of the Exonerated Five, left several comments underneath King’s posting including teary-eyed faces and open hands.
The teenager is not usually in the public eye, though, in August 2021, she published a message on her father’s popular newsletter, The North Star, about a situation which “forced” her family to move from their home after being doxxed.

Several publications posted photos of the family’s nearly $1 million home amidst controversies that King misappropriated money raised to help various social justice causes.

“I am an activist, a fighter for justice, but I am finding it harder to fight,” said the NYU student, adding that the family did nothing to deserve the continuous harassment that eventually led them to move due to safety concerns.
“This is just a moment, and it will pass. I know. But it’s hard to see my family struggle so terribly, to watch my siblings cry because they have to leave their school and friends and home,” she added.

In his post, King also called on fans to pray for his wife Rai King, who he said “has had an incredibly hard time with this.”
He ended the post by stating “Love and appreciate you all.

There have been no further updates on his daughter’s condition.

A Return to tradition: Biden celebrates Honorees Kennedy Center Honors
WASHINGTON, Dec 5 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden celebrated artists including Bette Midler, Joni Mitchell and Lorne Michaels on Sunday at the Kennedy Center Honors, bringing back presidential participation to an annual event skipped by Republican Donald Trump.

Singer Justino Díaz and Motown founder Berry Gordy rounded out the group of artists selected by the Kennedy Center for top honors this year at a show that had been upended by politics and the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"To all of the Kennedy Center honorees past and present, thank you for sharing your gift with the nation and ... with the world," Biden said at a black-tie reception at the White House.

Trump did not hold such a reception during his four years in office and did not attend the show at the Kennedy Center.
The arts community largely did not object to that absence. Singer and actress Cher, an honoree in 2018 and an outspoken Trump critic, said she would have had to accept the award in a bathroom if Trump had come.

Biden, his wife, Jill, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, all attended the ceremony, as did House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.
"It is quite nice, very nice, to see the presidential box once again being occupied," comedian David Letterman said at the beginning of the show. The crowd rose in a standing ovation.
The awards recognize a lifetime of achievement in the performing arts. The show did not take place in 2020 because of the pandemic. Instead, last year's honorees were celebrated in a scaled-down event earlier this year.

Audience members on Sunday had to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
Midler, a singer and actress, has received Grammy, Emmy, Tony and Golden Globe awards for a career spanning decades, with over 30 million albums sold around the world. Actresses Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson and Barbara Hershey paid tribute to her at the event. "Nothing stops Bette," Hawn said.
Midler dished to reporters about the reception on her way into the Kennedy Center. "It was divine at the White House," she said. "Very clean. Lovely. Great staff. Food was excellent. Wine was a little sweet."

Singer-songwriter Mitchell, a Canadian known for songs such as "Both Sides, Now" and "Big Yellow Taxi," is a multi-Grammy recipient and an inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The show opened with performances of her songs "The Circle Game" and "A Case of You" by Norah Jones and a soaring rendition of "River" by Brandi Carlile.

Michaels, also a native of Canada, is the creator and executive producer of the long-running NBC sketch comedy show "Saturday Night Live."
Biden noted SNL had used seven comics to play him over the years.

"If you can't laugh at yourself, we're in real trouble, and you make me laugh at myself a lot," Biden said during his remarks at the White House, referring to Michaels. Current and former SNL cast members lauded and roasted the producer during the show and singer Paul Simon sang "America."

Diaz, a bass-baritone opera singer from Puerto Rico, was celebrated with performances from "Carmen" and "Faust."
"It's like coming home again," Diaz told reporters as he entered the Kennedy Center. "Except a different part of the house: I'll be in a very easy chair and I don't have to sing."

Gordy, a songwriter and record producer from Detroit, founded the Motown record label that became synonymous with a jazz- and blues-influenced musical sound popularized by Black artists including Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Lionel Richie, whose careers he helped shape.

Wonder sang and played from the Kennedy Center stage, including "You are the Sunshine of My Life" and "Superstition." Smokey Robinson also sang and paid tribute to his friend.
"I think I'm in a dream ... and it's a wonderful dream," Gordy told reporters.

The Kennedy Center Honors will be broadcast on CBS (VIAC.O) television network on Dec. 22.

Jermaine Dupri Partners with Walmart for ‘JD’s Vegan’ Ice Cream Brand
*The one thing that has been pretty interesting to watch about hip-hop is the manner in which it produced entrepreneurs that venture into other businesses.

Recently, Rolling Stone reported that Jermaine Dupri, the mind behind the So So Def explosion out of ATL, is getting his cream in another way. By making “JD’s Vegan” ice cream.

Dupri, who has been vegan for decades, has started a gluten-free, plant-based, non-GMO line of frozen treats after noticing the lack of these types of items for vegan consumers.
JD’s Vegan Ice Cream – To make his vegan ice cream affordable and accessible to the general public, Dupri partnered with Walmart to sell the frozen desserts for $6.47 per pint.
A lot of people who are involved in the vegan brands are not vegan,” said Dupri. “I don’t know how people who are not vegan can be trustworthy in his space for us. I felt it was important for somebody like myself to produce something,” he told Rolling Stone.
The products will be created in conjunction with Malcolm Stogo and Big Innovations Group Inc. It’s reportedly made from a base of coconut cream instead of dairy.

Dupri also partnered with Walmart to make the product accessible to the general public rather than a bougie subset clamoring for public approval.

Meagan Good Says She’s Considered Becoming A Gun Owner Amid The Rise Of LA Home Invasions
Meagan Good is thinking about becoming a registered gun owner amid the rise of home invasions in Los Angeles. The Think Like A Man star sat down for a chat with Charlamagne Tha God on his new Comedy Central Show Tha God’s Honest Truth where the actress said she would feel a bit “more comfortable” if she was strapped.

“For a long time I felt like I didn’t, but now with everything that’s going on, I would feel more comfortable with a gun,” she told The Breakfast Club Morning Show host. “Before my thought was if something did happen to me, would I have the time to pull out a gun to defend myself?” The star added that she would never want to hurt anyone, but it’s all about self-defense. Charlamagne was curious to know what Good’s pastor-loving hubby DeVon Franklin thought about her recent revelation, to which she said she hadn’t spoken to him about the idea.

Good’s home invasion woes are real, as a number of big-time celebs have been robbed over the last year. Back in July, Rihanna’s lavish LA pad was broken into by intruders. Months later, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley was a target of a vicious home robbery where she and her two children were actually present during the startling incident. According to TMZ, the two thieves made off with Kemsley’s expensive handbags, jewelry, and watches. Thankfully, neither she nor her children were harmed during the scary heist.

Black women are becoming registered gun owners at a surprisingly high rate. Back in September, a study conducted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation reported an uptick in registered gun users, a majority of them being Black women. In 2020 alone, 8.5 million people in the U.S. bought their first gun. Black women and men accounted for more than 58 percent of those registered gun owners “over the first six months of the last year.” The study suggests that the rise of police brutality attacks and racially motivated killings may have caused the spike in Black gun ownership.

Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott’s W Magazine Cover Leaked After Release Canceled Following Astroworld Tragedy
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s W magazine cover was scratched after the Astroworld tragedy, but somehow the cover photo was still leaked.
It’s actually a video circulating of the alleged magazine cover, which shows a pregnant Kylie and Travis with Stormi all posing.
Travis appears to be listening to their unborn child’s heartbeat. TMZ was told Travis, Kylie, and the magazine agreed not to run the cover.
Sources close to the situation told the outlets they’re still very much together as a couple, despite rumors that Kylie split with Travis following a fallout.

The cover was pulled over with the concern that it would upset the families of the ten people who died during the Astroworld fiasco and the hundreds of others injured.
A W insider told Page Six, “W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks,” adding, “In light of what happened at Astroworld, the interview and cover lines seem inappropriate, to say the least.”
Many of the families are angry at the rapper, including the family of Ezra Blount, the 9-year-old who died at the festival, his family rejected Travis’ offer to cover his funeral expenses, and they’re not the only family to do so.

TMZ communicated with the attorneys who are representing the families of 14-year-old John Hilgert and 27-year-old Danish Baig — both of whom died during the event. Both families have opted to snub TS, with one family suggesting it’s a slap in the face.
Attorney Michael Lyons who’s representing Baig’s family in a civil lawsuit against Travis and others said, “We received a written offer from Travis Scott’s attorney Dan Petrocelli indicating that he would pay $7,500 in funeral burial costs and my clients are rejecting that.”
W magazine isn’t the only company to distance itself. Nike has delayed the release of a new Travis Scott shoe.

Jussie Smollett trial: State rests case after brothers testify 'Empire' star planned fake attack
Nearly three years after Jussie Smollett reported to police that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack, the ex-"Empire" actor's trial started Monday in Chicago.

Smollett’s legal team on Thursday sought to dent the credibility of a star state witness who on Wednesday testified about how the former “Empire” actor recruited him and his brother to stage a racist, homophobic attack on Smollett. The state rested its case against the actor on Thursday.
Judge James Linn told jurors there would be no testimony Friday, saying he expected they would begin deliberations no later than Tuesday.

Smollett, 39, is charged with felony disorderly conduct for what law enforcement and prosecutors believe was a false police report about the alleged attack. The Class 4 felony carries a prison sentence of up to three years in prison, but experts say if Smollett is convicted he likely would be placed on probation and perhaps ordered to perform community service.

So far in the trial, Smollett's attorney has asserted that Smollett was a "real victim" of a "real crime" while a lead investigator detailed how detectives went from thinking the attack was a "horrible hate crime" to concluding the ex-“Empire” actor had staged a hoax.

It remains unclear whether Smollett will testify.

Former RHOA cast member Tanya Sam Allegedly Shared a Nude Photo of Her and Fiancé Paul via Instagram...on Accident
Tanya Sam has largely gone under the radar ever since we here at lovebscott.com revealed she & former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Porsha Williams allegedly got their peaches cobbled during Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party — but it appears she might be trying to pop back into the spotlight.

On Sunday, the former friend-of-the-show accidentally shared a topless photo of herself and husband Paul in the bed via Instagram.

Now — the last time anyone asked Tanya questions about her bedroom behavior, she ran away to Canada and left ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ without saying a word.

We just have one question — who did Tanya and Paul take this sexy photo for? Was it for themselves? Were they trying to send it to someone privately via IG?
Okay, we lied…that’s a couple questions. But from what we’ve heard, Tanya and Paul are used to a couple.

Tamar Braxton’s Birthday Post to Sister Trina Goes Left After Fans  Bring Up BFV
Tamar Braxton‘s celebration post in honor of her sister Trina Braxton‘s 47th birthday got sidetracked on Dec. 3 after fans mention the duo’s family series “Braxton Family Values.”
“Braxton Family Values,” or “BFV,” is a We TV reality television series that follows the lives of Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and the matriarch of the show Evelyn Braxton. “BFV” premiered in 2011, and the seventh season aired on the network last year.

Tamar Braxton (right) shares a birthday post to her sister Trina Braxton (left) that gets derailed by fans requesting the return of “Braxton Family Values.” @tamarbraxton/Instagram
In the Instagram post, Tamar uploaded a throwback clip from the hit series where she, Trina, and Towanda, who was celebrating her birthday at the time by correcting the color of a locker, discussed the difference between two shades of purple. During a confessional, a frustrated Trina is ranting how she won’t paint something purple that is already that color.

She said, “OK, so Towanda is asking us to paint something that’s purple purple. Isn’t it already purple? No one cares if it’s paisley purple or whatever. It’s purple. That’s dumb. I ain’t painting it purple again.”

As the scene continued, Towanda — who is adding another coat on what appears to be a locker — asked Trina to do “one roll.” That request didn’t go over too well with Trina, because she immediately called her a “birthday-zilla,” eliciting laughter from Tamar and Trina. The recording ends with the three sisters continuing their debate about the different shades of purple.

In addition to the video, Tamar also penned a sweet message to Trina and stated she shared this video because it brought back good memories. She said, “I can’t let the day go by without saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @trinabraxton1. I love you to the moon and back!! I thank God for these memories!! May this trip around the sun be your best yet. I love you with my entire heart.”

As fans began to view Tamar’s post, many sent well-wishes to Trina on her special day. At the same time, others mentioned that the “Love & War” singer’s video made them miss watching “BFV.” A few even expressed they want to see the family’s show return.

“I miss the fun you guys had on the show! Really great show! I hated when you guys argued but that’s what makes it real life and relatable! We all fuss and fight! I just hated to see you guys. You all are so close and so fun and amazing.”

“I NEED FOR YALL TO COME BACK!!!!!!!!! I am a true fan who misses the show…. All the love…. All the truth when needed….. y’all are a blessing in so many ways….. COME BACK.”
“Wish y’all would come back to reality TV, miss y’all.”

“I miss watching y’all sisterhood such a beautiful thing. Keep making these memories even when the camera stopped.”
While performing at Nashville 8th Annual Old School BBQ Festival in October, Tamar hinted that “Braxton Family Values” could return to the small screen very soon. This announcement came a year after the singer cut ties with We TV for using the lowest point in her life to boost ratings during the series’ seventh season.

During that time, Tamar made several appearances on “BFV” and documented her purported suicide attempt in July 2020. She told the audience members, “What if I told you ‘Braxton Family Values’ is coming back? Not on no foolish network, I can tell you that.”

Despite Tamar’s statement, no other details regarding the return of “Braxton’s Family Values” have been released.

Normani Talks Feeling ‘Overlooked’ Growing Up In Award Acceptance Speech
Normani, like many of her colleagues in the entertainment industry, has had to fight against the odds to have her voice heard in a constantly changing environment.
The “Wild Side” singer, who has collaborated with some of the biggest names in American music, gave a heartfelt speech on Saturday at Variety’s Hitmakers Brunch.

The entertainer kept it real as she reminisced on her journey and career so far. She spoke about how it all started, and feeling overlooked.
The video of Normani giving her speech as she accepted the Collaborator of the Year Award was shared by Variety on Twitter. The singer started her address by saying:

“This is really, really big for me, I’ve always felt growing up, like, really, really overlooked. And I always had this fear of being seen.”

She mentioned that her mom would often ask why she chose to be in a girl group. Normani said she would even ask if she was in the female band to hide.
The Fifth Harmony alum then revealed that God’s plan for her was different from what she imagined because she became uncomfortable and believed it was good for her. She added:
“sometimes I get so in my head and, like Sean was saying, I’m a perfectionist, and I often get in my own way a lot of the time.”
However, the dancer is only grateful for people around her and particularly being a Black woman in the music world.

Normani also acknowledged other female artists in her touching message for their impact on the industry. She touched on an interesting myth about women when she said:
“Historically, women have always been positioned against one another to compete and falsely believe that there’s only room for one of us.”

The “Motivation” singer added that she was excited to be part of a time where women celebrate and support each other and hope to inspire coming generations to follow the same path.
Being part of one of the most popular girl groups of the 21st century wasn’t all about red carpets and glamour for the colored singer; a lot happened behind closed doors.

Since the Fifth Harmony split in 2018, Normani has been quite the star, with herself to thank for it. Although, before that, she had to become like one of them.

In August, the singer had to endure racist comments on the internet. She also didn’t get to sing that much while in the group.
In the recent music video of her single “Wild Side,” in which she featured Cardi B, lots of skin and sensual appeals were portrayed.
Normani admitted that she could throw ass, but she could also give an eight-count. Despite being a black woman, the multi-talented performer is quite the ballerina and can perform other contemporary dances.

She gave credit to her parents for her work morale which was imbibed in her at quite a young age.
This was during the first performance of her single “Wild Side.” This performance could be compared to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s Grammy performance to “WAP.”

Although lots of people loved the performance, Dave Portnoy, the Barstool Sports founder, was one of those who didn’t.
He wrote on Twitter, “This is good. Barstool bad.” He expressed how people described Barstool as sexist, but it seemed cool for Normani to display quite a sexual performance while on stage.

This message got many reactions from people, including the singer’s fan base, appalled parents, and scorned women.
