#RHOA: Kenya Moore explains ‘tiff’ with Cynthia Bailey during ‘UGT’!
Kenya Moore all but confirmed that she goes to battle with BFF Cynthia Bailey on “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
“There was a moment during the filming where she just felt like she had gotten into it with some of the other ladies over a situation and I wasn’t stepping up,” she told The Jasmine Brand after being asked about the brief “tiff” between her and Bailey, 54, in the “Ultimate Girls Trip” trailer.
“And I’m like no, when you watch it back you will see that I stepped up plenty,” Moore, 50, added.
The moment in question shows a visibly upset Bailey confronting Moore on the beach while telling her, “Ramona’s [Singer] not my friend. You’re my friend.”
“I think we got over it, but then, you know, sometimes people don’t really get over things,” Moore explained further, suggesting that this wasn’t just a harmless disagreement with her friend.
Meanwhile, Bailey recently spoke with Page Six and divulged that she felt “disrespected” by one cast member in particular while filming the show. Unfortunately she wouldn’t name names.
“There were a couple of different situations,” the former model told Page Six in an exclusive interview. “And one situation, it was just a matter of me feeling just a little disappointed in one of the ladies on the trip and hurt and, actually, disrespected.”
Bailey added that the disagreement “set the tone” for the rest of the trip and she wasn’t able to “shake it off” — which coincidentally goes hand-in-hand with Moore suggesting certain people “don’t really get over things.” Hmm.
No matter what did or did not happen during “Ultimate Girls Trip,” Moore did make one thing very clear: Bailey is still her ride or die.
“That is a woman that I love, that I cherish her friendship, and no matter what little things we go through when filming, that’s not really my world,” she said.

#HipHopNews: Young Thug’s ‘Punk’ debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200!
Young Thug’s Punk is officially the No. 1 album in the country. Thugger’s second solo studio album lands in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart after earning 90,000 album equivalent units in the week ending Oct. 21, according to MRC Data. Billboard reports it’s Thug’s third No. 1 album. His debut So Much Fun and his Slime Language 2 compilation album also reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart during their first week of sales.
Thug’s latest accumulated 102 million on-demand streams and 1,000 track equivalent albums. Punk’s 90,000 album equivalent units was just enough to outdo Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, which falls to the No. 2 position after earning 83,000 album equivalent units. CLB’s four nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 is already the most weeks a hip hop album has spent on top this year.
Mac Miller’s Faces mixtape debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 after earning 67,000 album equivalent units. Faces was originally released in 2014, but was re-released on streaming services on Oct. 15. Perhaps, it’s just a coincidence that both Mac Miller and Drake appear on Young Thug’s Punk. Drizzy is featured on “Bubbly” with Travis Scott and Mac shows up on the final track of the album “Day Before.”
Last week, Thugger revealed during an interview with Power 105.1 “The Breakfast Club,” that he spent time in the studio with Mac — in 2018 — the day before he died of an accidental overdose.
“I was with Mac the day before he died. He was at my studio. We did the song… This shit’s so crazy, but it’s coincidental,” Thug said. “He came to the studio, did a song with me. The next day he died. And the song that we did at the studio, the name of the song is ‘Day Before.’”
“I think deep on that because it’s like, is that a sign?” Thugger continued. “At some point you want to know. At some point it’s like, yo, have you ever wished that God could just really talk to you?” Punk also includes features from Nate Ruess, Future, Doja Cat, Gunna, Juice WRLD, Post Malone, J. Cole, and Lil Double 0.

#Box Office News: 'Dune' Opens to $40 Million at the Box Office!
"Dune," an adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi epic, opened to $40.1 million at the North American box office. It's a respectable start given the ongoing pandemic and the film's unconventional theatrical debut. In addition to playing in 4,125 domestic theaters, "Dune" (like all Warner Bros. movies in 2021) premiered simultaneously on HBO Max, which might have taken a chunk out of overall ticket sales.
In a milestone for the studio, "Dune" landed the biggest three-day tally for Warner Bros. since the company began its day-and-date strategy on HBO Max. "Godzilla vs. Kong," which scored a then-pandemic record $31 million in April, previously held that high-water mark. In the months in between, anticipated movies such as "The Suicide Squad," the LeBron James sports comedy "Space Jam: A New Legacy" and the musical adaptation of "In the Heights" failed to live up to box office expectations while being offered concurrently on HBO Max.
"I'm smiling," Warner Bros. president of domestic distribution Jeff Goldstein said on Sunday morning. "Exhibitors are thrilled. The best part is, fans are loving what they're seeing. They're loving the big-screen experience. It's been a winner of a weekend for movie-lovers."
Directed by Oscar nominee Denis Villeneuve ("Blade Runner 2049" and "Arrival") and starring Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac and Josh Brolin, "Dune" is the first chapter in an expected two-part saga. Villeneuve and the cast of the movie have said they would like to make the follow-up to complete the story about warring political dynasties that clash over access to a vital planet. The question now: will ticket sales to start be enough to justify a sequel? Given the film's hefty $165 million price tag, including the millions spent to market it as a cinematic event, it's unclear if box office revenues alone will be enough to warrant a return to the desert land of Arrakis. In that case, "Dune" will have to perform very well on HBO Max to convince the studio it should inject another $165 million to complete the star-studded interplanetary tale. Legendary Pictures co-financed "Dune" in addition to producing and developing the movie.
In an interview with Variety this week, WarnerMedia chair Ann Sarnoff said plans for the sequel will be based on "the entirety of what 'Dune' can do for the company, including HBO Max." She added, "The story in itself sets up for a sequel. The production is so amazing and the storytelling is so compelling that it's not going to be judged on box office alone."
Avid fans of Herbert's seminal 1965 novel sought out "Dune" on the biggest screen possible, with premium formats such as Imax, Dolby and 4DX accounting for 50% of domestic ticket sales. Imax alone contributed $9 million, representing 22.5% of the market share, marking the company's largest opening weekend since the pandemic.
Also new to theaters this weekend, Disney's animated adventure "Ron's Gone Wrong" tanked with $7.3 million from 3,560 cinemas in North America. The family movie, centering on socially awkward middle schooler Barney and his malfunctioning robot friend (Zach Galifianakis), has been well received by audiences (it has an "A" CinemaScore), which could be a promising sign for its theatrical run. Despite playing only in theaters, "Ron's Gone Wrong" placed fifth on box office charts behind holdover titles "Halloween Kills," James Bond entry "No Time to Die" and comic book adaptation "Venom: Let There Be Carnage."
In a distant second place, Universal's slasher sequel "Halloween Kill" collected $14 million in its second weekend in theaters, plummeting 71% from its opening. It has generated $73 million in North America to date, a win for the $20 million-budgeted horror film. Already, the studio has announced that franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis will return for the follow-up "Halloween Ends," scheduled for Oct. 14, 2022.
MGM's "No Time to Die" landed at No. 3 with $11.8 million, boosting its domestic total to $120 million. Sony's "Venom" sequel secured forth place, bringing in $9.1 million between Friday and Sunday. After four weeks, the anti-hero adventure, starring Tom Hardy, has made $181 million.
WOW! Kyrie Irving Fans Protest Outside Barclays Center: “Let Kyrie Play”!
Protesters are taking over the streets of New York City Sunday marching in support of NBA superstar Kyrie Irving’s vaccination stance.
As previously reported the Nets announced that Irving wouldn’t be allowed to play or practice until he became vaccinated. With not getting the shot, he loses out on $16 million in games missed.
Participants carried signs reading “No mandates … My Body, My Choice” and another demanding “equal rights for vaxxed” and “unvaxxed.”
Over the past few weeks Kyrie Irving has been the topic of conversation. Some people have spoken out in support of his decision to not get vaccinated, because it’s his body and his choice. But he also has been getting flack from a lot of people as well. Charles Barkley spoke out recently during TNT’s season opener game and said “you don’t get vaccinated for yourself, you get it to protect others.”
Irving also went on Instagram live to let his fans know why he was making that choice. “Don’t believe that I’m retiring, don’t believe that I’m going to give up this game for a a vaccine mandate or staying unvaccinated,” he shared. “Don’t believe any of that s—t, man. What would you do if you felt uncomfortable going into the season when you were promised that you would have exemptions or that you didn’t have to get the vaccine.”
Brian Laundrie's parents won't have a funeral for their son, the family attorney reportedly said!
There won't be a funeral for Brian Laundrie, his family lawyer told a Fox News producer.
Laundrie was a person of interest in the killing of Gabby Petito.
Laundrie's remains were discovered at a Florida nature reserve on October 21.
There won't be a funeral for Brian Landrie, his family's lawyer reportedly said days after his remains were discovered at a Florida nature reserve.
Claudia Kelly-Bazan, a producer for Fox News, wrote on Twitter that the Laundrie family attorney informed her that there are no plans for a funeral and that Laundrie's body will be cremated and given to his parents.
The 23-year-old's remains were found at the 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve, where he was reported missing last month, the FBI said on October 21. His parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, told authorities that their son went for a hike on September 13 and never returned home.
He was the sole person of interest in the killing of his fiancée, Gabby Petito, who was reported missing by her family on September 11. The couple had been on a cross-country road trip together. Laundrie returned to his parent's home in Florida without Petitio on September 1.
Petito's remains were found on September 19, and an autopsy report found that she died of strangulation some time between August 22 and 29.
The Laundrie family is represented by Steven Bertolino, who told Insider's Natalie Musumeci on Friday that Laundrie's remains have been sent to a forensic anthropologist. A cause of death is not yet known.
Gizelle Bryant Reveals She's Dating After Splitting from Jamal Bryant 'Just For Casual Encounters'!
Gizelle Bryant is getting back to dating — but she’s taking it slow.
via People: During Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Gizelle, 51, discussed the concept of dating with her three daughters, Grace, 16, and twins Angel and Adore, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Jamal.
The former couple, who were married from 2002 to 2009, split after Jamal had an affair. Gizelle revealed in 2019 that they had rekindled their romance, but they later broke up again, with Gizelle telling E! News that she was single in July.
“Guys, how do you guys feel about me, you know, going out every now and again?” Gizelle asked her daughters.
“We just don’t want you alone and gross, by yourself,” Angel replied, while Adore added, “We don’t want you to, like, die alone.”
Gizelle looked shocked at the girls’ comments, but they continued. “It’s looking like you don’t have anyone near you,” Angel said, with Adore chiming in again, “Yeah, you’re pretty lonely.”
“Okay, but right now I’m casually dating,” she told them, noting that she’s not interested in a serious relationship with anyone.
In her confessional, Gizelle confirmed that she was dating, but added that “these are just casual encounters.” When asked who the man in question was, Gizelle quipped to producers, “None of your business.”
While chatting with her daughters, Gizelle tried to turn the conversation into a lesson for them.
“Speaking of dating and all that kind of good stuff, you guys made it very clear to me that I’m emotionally unavailable,” she told them. “I have not necessarily been vulnerable in my relationships with men. Okay, so you guys are going to start dating, very soon — if you’re not already, Grace Gizelle Bryant — and I don’t want you guys to be that way.”
“Well, it’s harder for us because we don’t see you in relationships. It’s hard to look up to you or dad,” Grace said.
“It’s like you saw a marriage and then you saw it, like, disappear,” Angel said.
“It’s hard to see what it’s supposed to look like,” Adore said, as Gizelle commented, “Wow, this is worse than I thought.”
“I mean, it’s not your fault, but it’s just, like, it’s just hard for us, and it’s gonna be hard for our whole lives because we never had that experience,” Grace said.
“I was born with walls, I just did not know what they were until my children are staring me in my face and telling me,” Gizelle told the cameras. “Emotionally, I am as tough as it gets, but I don’t ever want to be so tough that I can’t be a better example to them.”
“There’s a lot of things that I could have discussed with your father to make things better in our relationship, and I chose not to,” she then said to her daughters. “That’s on me. It’s okay to talk about how you feel.”
After hearing the advice, Adore noted that Gizelle “should lead by example.”
“So accept that mommy’s gonna do better,” the mom of three said, with Grace replying, “I do, but it’s been 50 years of struggle.”
Later in the episode, Gizelle took the conversation about her being “emotionally unavailable” to her therapist.
“I always want to make sure I’m being my best self, especially when it comes to me being a mom, and my kids are gonna hit me upside the head with the fact that, you know, mommy’s not emotionally available for them, then definitely I’ve got to do something about it,” she said in her confessional.
In her therapy session, Gizelle discussed reconnecting with and then splitting from Jamal after their divorce.
“Why did you reconnect with your ex-husband?” the therapist asked.
“Good question. I don’t know, I just felt like I was at a place where I wanted to take that leap, you know, to get the family back together,” she said. “I felt like he was looking at me a little bit different, with much more respect. And before the pandemic we were seeing each other all the time, flying back and forth, all that.”
However, Gizelle said that not being able to see each other during the COVID-19 pandemic changed things for her.
“It just made me look at everything differently, and it just made me feel like I do like my space, I do like my freedom. Yes, I need a man, I want a man, I just don’t want to answer to one,” she said.
When the therapist asked what messages she thinks she offers her daughters about relationships, Gizelle responded, “Probably not good ones.”
“Now, they’ve seen their parents reconnect and then now separate, and they’re wondering what is love? What is it, what is it really all about?” he said, while Gizelle interjected, “This is horrible.”
“Maybe you just haven’t had honest open conversations with them about what you’re going through,” he continued. “They say, ‘Mom, you’re not emotionally available,’ right? That means you’re cold.”
“I thought I was doing a good job, apparently, I’ve been having some missteps,” Gizelle said, as her therapist recommended, “Let your walls down. Because when your walls come down, it’s a beauty that comes out. You have the opportunity to make a major change. And when your daughters grow up, they’re going to remember how they felt around you, that connection.”
“When it comes to relationships, I feel like emotionally I am as tough as it gets,” Gizelle said. “But I do want to set a good example for my girls, and help them whenever they get into their relationships and to know my door’s always open for them, and they’ve got to be able to feel that.”
“If you’re telling me that these things will help my children, then I’m going to do it,” she concluded.
‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ premieres Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
James Michael Tyler, Actor Who Played Gunther on ‘Friends,’ Dies at 59!
James Michael Tyler, an actor beloved for his portrayal of Gunther on “Friends,” died of prostate cancer on Sunday morning, his manager confirmed to Variety. He was 59.
Tyler died peacefully in his Los Angeles home. The actor was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in September 2018. Tyler shared his story earlier this year on “Today.” He also worked as a campaigner for individuals with prostates to get a first blood test as early as 40 years old.
“Michael’s loved ones knew him as an actor, musician, cancer-awareness advocate and loving husband,” his manager said in a statement. “Michael loved live music, cheering on his Clemson Tigers and would often find himself in fun and unplanned adventures. If you met him once, you made a friend for life.”
“James was a genuinely kind, sweet man. When he started as an extra on Friends, his unique spirit caught our eye and we knew we had to make him a character. He made Gunther’s unrequited love incredibly relatable. Our heart goes out to his wife, Jennifer Carno,” “Friends” co-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane said in a statement.
“Warner Bros. Television mourns the loss of James Michael Tyler, a beloved actor and integral part of our FRIENDS family,” reads a post on the official “Friends” Twitter account. “Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues and fans.”
Tyler was most well-known for his performance as Gunther, a worker at the Central Perk cafe who reserves an unrequited love for Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel, on the wildly popular NBC sitcom “Friends.” Dubbed by many as “the seventh ‘Friend,'” the actor was a series mainstay, first appearing as a background character in the second episode of “Friends” and returning as a guest star across the remainder of its 10-year run. He is the most frequently recurring guest star across the series. Tyler also made an appearance via a video conference on the HBO Max special “Friends: The Reunion” earlier this year.
“I wanted to be a part of that, and initially I was going to be on the stage, at least, with them, and be able to take part in all the festivities,” Tyler said about the reunion. “It was bittersweet, honestly. I was very happy to be included. It was my decision not to be a part of that physically and make an appearance on Zoom, basically, because I didn’t wanna bring a downer on it, you know? I didn’t want to be like, ‘Oh, and by the way, Gunther has cancer.’”
Beyond “Friends,” Tyler’s acting credits stretch back to 1992, including series like “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “Scrubs” and “Modern Music.” While undergoing treatment, he continued to perform, starring in two short films — “The Gesture and the Word” and “Processing” — which earned him best actor awards at several domestic and international film festivals.
This year, Tyler’s spoken word performance of Stephan Kalinich’s poem “If You Knew” was adapted into a short video to help raise awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Tyler is survived by his wife, Jennifer Carno.
Kanye West buys out tickets to ‘70s modern dance piece, takes Swizz Beatz!
Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, was spotted at New York’s venerable Joyce Theater to see postmodern dancer and choreographer Lucinda Childs’ 1979 piece, “Dance,” over the weekend.
The piece was created as a collaboration with composer Philip Glass and late artist Sol LeWitt.
A source told us that Ye, 44, arranged his tickets “the same day” as the performance and “brought along an entourage of 12, which included producer Swizz Beatz.”
Ye originally purchased two tickets in the afternoon, the source added, but then – at the last minute – “bought up the remaining seats in the house.”
We’re told Ye apparently “had to see” the show after seeing an ad and being taken aback by the dance, movement and film.
A spy told us, “Although he came a bit late and sat in the back, he loved the performance and stayed through to the end of the curtain call, offering hoots-and-hollers to the company and the legendary choreographer when she joined the dancers for a bow.”
The rapper – who just recently changed his name legally to Ye – was also seen around town this month in a bizarre prosthetic mask meeting former Trump fixer Michael Cohen for coffee.
The pair – as well as PR whiz Ronn Torossian and Israeli judo champ Or Sassoon – were spotted at Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Loews Regency Hotel. Sources told us that mayoral candidate Eric Adams was also meant to meet the group, but could not make it because he was tied at a meeting in Midtown.

The Baltimore-based HBCU tweeted a statement around 9 p.m. Saturday which reads: “At approximately 7 p.m. this evening, a shooting occurred at Morgan State University near the Montebello Complex on south campus. A Morgan student was reported injured with non-life-threatening injuries and taken to a local hospital for immediate treatment.”
“The area around Montebello Complex is secure and there is no active threat to the campus. We encourage the Campus Community to stay clear of the area at this time as police activity is ongoing,” school officials tweeted

And although the Morgan State Bears football team lost to North Carolina Central University in the homecoming game, 28-17, the school opened the doors to the newly constructed $88-million Calvin and Tina Tyler Hall Student Services Building on Friday (Oct. 22.
J Balvin Apologizes For His ‘Perra’ Video After He Received Criticism Over Its Portrayal Of Black Women!
J Balvin released his sixth album Jose last month, but its promotional rollout did not come without some controversy. Earlier this month, the singer released a video for “Perra,” with Dominican rapper Tokischa, and he was quickly hit with criticism over the way the visual portrayed Black women. In the video, Balvin is seen walking Black women around on leashes while they wore dog ears. Among its critics was the singer’s own mother, who spoke to Cosmovisión, a Colombian news station, about it. “When I found out [about “Perra”], I called him … [and asked], “Where is the Josésito that I know?” she said. “That song is not … I don’t even know what to say. I did not see my José anywhere.”
Weeks after the controversy, J Balvin has issued an apology on his Instagram story. “I want to say sorry to whomever felt offended, especially to the Black community,” he wrote. “That’s not who I am. I’m about tolerance, love, and inclusivity. I also like to support new artists, in this case Tokischa, a woman who supports her people, her community and also empowers women.”
Balvin added, “As a form of respect, I removed the video eight days ago. But because the criticism continued, I’m here making a statement.” He concluded with an apology to his mother. “Mom, I’m sorry too,” he said. “Life gets better each day. Thank you for listening to me.”
You can watch Balvin’s full apology video here.
