Vin Diesel Covers Men’s Health July/August Issue!

VIN DIESEL covers the July/August cover stars of Men’s Health and Women’s Health. Below, he favorites open up about their new film, staying fit during the pandemic and what the future holds.

On the legacy of the Fast & Furious franchise: “…’[I]t’s not uncommon that I’ll give a speech on set where I’ll say, ‘We’re making this franchise for people that are no longer with us,’ which is very real, and the implications of that are very heavy. ‘But at the same time, we’re making the franchise for the people that aren’t born yet.’ When you have a unique perspective of creating a franchise that spans generations, you realize, okay, we all have to be as brilliant as possible. We have to reach as high as we can. Because it may be more important than just a movie. More important than two hours of escapism. There may be something more at play.”

On being a daredevil growing up: “When you grow up in the city, you grow up on public transportation, now, I was a daredevil, so I actually was a good driver—which doesn’t seem to make sense, but I rode everything with wheels in the most dangerous city in the world. That started with skateboards in the street at five years old, which led to banana-seat bikes, which led ultimately to motorcycles. Nothing makes you a better driver than having to navigate New York City cabs on an XR750.”

On Paul Walker and ending the franchise at Fast 10: “We walked into this bodega, and people just cannot believe that Dom and Brian are walking into a bodega…and one of the guys said, ‘Brian.’ One of the guys called him Brian. And when we left, and we were in the car, he said, ‘That’s my favorite thing. It’s my favorite thing when people call me Brian.’ And it always stuck with me. Because he was so adamant about it. To him it was a beautiful compliment. I still think about it to this day, because it just says so much, that there was so much pride in this iconic character he created. It was his creation, his superhero, and that moment represented a simpler life, I guess. And it made me want to protect that even more, because that mountain looming that is Fast 10—that’s what we promised each other, that we would take this franchise and end it at Fast 10.”

On his next steps after Fast & Furious: “I promised myself I would try to make the Hannibal trilogy. Part of creating mythology in Riddick and creating worlds like Fast, in some bizarre way, was preparation for the ultimate task…On some level, there is that voice that says, My God, you’ve done it, you’ve created this mythology out of scratch. But the Fast finale weighs on me. Right now, Fast 10 is Everest.”

#RHOA: HOT or NOT? Cynthia Bailey in a  Cut-Out Multicolored Monokini!

Cynthia Bailey is turning up the heat this summer in a seriously sexy swimsuit. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member sizzled while recently soaking up the sun in a colorful, cut-out monokini with a scandalously plunging neckline.

On July 23, Cynthia took to Instagram to show off her latest eye-catching swimsuit. The RHOA mom put her curves on display in the skimpy, brightly colored one-piece, which featured a daringly low-cut top and revealing ab-baring cut-outs. As captured in the snapshot below, Cynthia paired the vibrantly patterned swimsuit with a matching long-sleeved cover-up tied at the waist.

To top off the colorful swimsuit, Cynthia added just a few silver bracelets on both wrists. She completed the sultry look by styling her caramel-hued strands into loose beachy waves.

Cynthia let the head-turning outfit speak for itself, captioning the photo with just a trio of heart emojis.

Several of Cynthia’s fellow Bravolebs couldn’t help but remark on the sexy snapshot. Cynthia’s husband Mike Hill dropped several fire emojis in the comments, while The Real Housewives of New York City’s Luann de Lesseps added, “Diva!” alongside a heart eyes emoji. The Real Housewives of Dallas’ Stephanie Hollman also chimed in, writing, “Gorgeous.”

#New Music: Kem – Lie to Me (Remix featuring Wiz Khalifa)!

Singer Kem gives us an all new version of his hit single “Lie to Me” on the remix featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa.

This remix is a fun, Summer cookout jam that features a great sample of “A Little Bit of Love” by Brenda Russell (which was famously used in Big Pun’s “Still Not a Player”).

LISTEN HERE

Kem originally released “Lie to Me” early in 2020 and it was co-written by Anthony Hamilton, James Poyser and Salaam Remi. That was followed by the #1 single “Live Out Your Love” with Toni Braxton which eventually hit #1 on the R&B Radio Charts.

Both songs were included on Kem’s most recently released album “Love Always Wins”.

#HipHopNews: Unreleased Nas Freestyle Dissing Tupac Shakur Surfaces!

Before Nas’ infamous lyrical feud with Jay-Z in the 2000s, the Queensbridge, N.Y. MC had to deliver some ether toward Tupac Shakur in the 1990s.

A 25-year-old freestyle featuring Nas called “Real Niggas” surfaced online last month, but appears to have began making its rounds on the ’net earlier this week (July 20). On the song, the Grammy Award-winning rhymer spits lyrical darts at Tupac.

“From tube socks in Timbs to blue rocks and Benz/Who got the ends, the type of nigga Tupac pretends/To all niggas who shine, guess who got revenge/I won’t showboat, my flow choke you,” Nas raps on the song.

Nasir then adds, "And if it don’t the .44 will smoke you, left ya seed reminiscing on ya/MCs, I'm pissing on ya/Shine because my chips are longer/These gremlins I'm sicking on ya/Shots ya dodging/While Esco could rock the whole fuckin' Garden/Real niggas are always gonna play this shit."

The freestyle also features a sample of Nas’ opening lines from his 1996’s song “The Message,” which initially sparked their purported beef. Apparently, Tupac thought the line, “Fake thug, no love, you get the slug, CB4 Gusto/Your luck low, I didn't know 'til I was drunk though,” was a diss towards himself.

Last year, Nas spoke to Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning radio show and shared the story of a conversation he had with Tupac in 1996 about "The Message." “[Tupac] was in New York and there was a lot of tension flaring,” Nas said. “Where I was coming from really wasn’t an all love place ’cause there was a rumor Makaveli [was] coming out, so I really wanted to check the temperature with him." Nas revealed that he heard Tupac had been dissing him during performances at the time.

“It was necessary for us to address the situation," Nas continued. "We had to step to our business. We had a great convo ... He thought I was dissing him on the song “The Message.”

Additionally, as a result of Nas' affiliation with Mobb Deep, whom ’Pac was also feuding with at the time, the late rapper decided to take shots at the New York City-bred lyricist as well on "Against All Odds," a track off of The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.

On that song, Tupac raps, "This little nigga named Nas think he live like me/Talking ’bout he left the hospital, took five like me/You live in fantasies, nigga, I reject your deposit."

According to Discogs, the song "Real Niggas" later appeared on a 2002 compilation album called, 2520 Unduplicated Unreleased Classics, Freestyles & Beats.

You can listen to Nas' unreleased track HERE.

STOP THE PRESSES! Ya Girl Issa Rae Is Married!

Issa Rae is a married woman! As the popular actress and writer wrapped one journey amid the ending of HBO’s Insecure, she started another one.

Issa Rae tied the knot with Louis Diame in an intimate ceremony in the South of France, according to E! News.

She shared snapshots of the beautiful moment on Instagram, and in true Issa Rae fashion, left fans guessing on what really happened.

She wrote,

“A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawanggang dress. B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband. Big thanks to @whiteedenweddings for being so gracious and accommodating and making this feel so real and special.”

Rumors that she was engaged sparked back in March 2019 when she was seen wearing a diamond on her ring finger.

While she never confirmed speculation, her Insecure co-stars Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis did.

“We’re very excited for her.” Jay Ellis added,We all found out in different ways because we’re all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways.”

Congrats, Issa Rae and Louis Diame!

#BOXOFFICENEWS: M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Old’ Wins the Weekend Box Office’!

In a twist fitting for an M. Night Shyamalan thriller, “Old” is the No. 1 movie at the domestic box office with $16.5 million in ticket sales.

Heading into the weekend, reigning champ “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and fellow newcomer “Snake Eyes” were projected to lead North American charts. Instead, “Space Jam 2” had a huge decline from its opening weekend and “Snake Eyes” fell slightly short of expectations, leaving “Old” to slither to a surprising first place finish.

It may not be the kind of pull-the-rug-out-from-under-you, leave-your-jaw-on-the-floor style finale favored by “The Sixth Sense” filmmaker, but it does demonstrate how wild and unpredictable the box office can be as it tries to recapture momentum during the pandemic and grapples with new hybrid distribution strategies. Stability won’t return anytime soon. New variants of COVID-19 have been driving a spike in infections, recently forcing Los Angeles, the country’s top moviegoing market, to reinstate its mask mandate. David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research, says the Delta variant presents a setback for not just the film industry, but the world.

“With only half of the U.S. fully vaccinated and the pace of shots at around half a million per day, the business can operate profitably, but full strength is going to take more time now,” Gross says.

For movie theater operators, it helped that this weekend’s two new nationwide releases — Universal’s “Old,” a horror story about a family vacationing at a beach that causes them to age rapidly, as well as Paramount’s “Snake Eyes,” a “G.I. Joe” origin story starring Henry Golding — are only playing in theaters. That’s a deviation from the release strategy deployed by other summer movies, including Disney’s “Black Widow” (also on Disney Plus for an extra fee) and Warner Bros.’ “Space Jam: A New Legacy” (on HBO Max at no additional cost to subscribers). “Snake Eyes” is moving to Paramount Plus 45 days after its theatrical debut, while “Old” will have a traditional home entertainment release.

“Snake Eyes” opened in second place with $13.3 million from 3,521 locations. It didn’t fare much better overseas, grossing $4 million from 37 markets (29% of its international footprint). That’s a disappointing start for a movie that cost $88 million to produce and hails from a well-known property. It didn’t help that the PG-13 rated “Snake Eyes” was greeted with weak reviews and a “B-” CinemaScore from audiences. “Old” arrived with an even worse reception from moviegoers — it landed a “C-” CinemaScore — but Shyamalan’s signature twist endings can benefit from a communal viewing experience. Plus, “Old” has generated significant social media chatter and has gotten the meme treatment online.

At the international box office, “Old” pulled in $6.5 million from 23 overseas territories for a $20 million global start. That haul represents Shyamalan’s lowest opening weekend in history, but the director behind “Unbreakable” and “Split” self-finances his films with modest budgets meaning they don’t have to break records to become profitable. “Old” carries an $18 million price tag.

Jim Orr, Universal’s president of domestic distribution, says he expects “Old” to have a long life in theaters.

“M. Night Shyamalan” has an incredible track record,” Orr says, giving a nod to the studio’s marketing team. “And these can be difficult film to market because you don’t want to give away too much.”

Perhaps almost as surprising as a Shyamalan-esque third act is the outright collapse of “Space Jam: A New Legacy.” The live-action/ animated sports comedy featuring LeBron James fell to fourth place with $9.5 million in its sophomore outing, marking a brutal 69% decline from its $31 million opening weekend. The sequel was tracking to make $15 million to $18 million between Friday and Sunday, which would have been a standard 45%-50% drop. Films geared toward family audiences, such as “Space Jam,” have been holding exceptionally well during the pandemic, but its hybrid release on HBO Max, along with mediocre reviews, likely cut into ticket sales.

“Space Jam” came in behind the Scarlett Johansson-led Marvel adventure “Black Widow,” now in its third weekend of release. “Black Widow” added another $11.6 million from 4,250 locations, bringing its domestic tally to $154 million in the U.S. and Canada. Though that’s a notable result during the pandemic, it’s a much lower total than recent installments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Universal’s “Fast & Furious” sequel “F9” is rounding out the top five on box office charts, adding $4.7 million in its fifth weekend in theaters. The film has made $163 million in North America to date. After more than a month on the big screen, “F9” has become the first Hollywood movie to cross $600 million worldwide since the onset of pandemic.

Elsewhere on box office charts, Mark Wahlberg’s biographical drama “Joe Bell” landed in 11th place with $707,184 from 1,094 locations. Though critics dismissed the Roadside Attractions film with a 37% Rotten Tomatoes average, the select moviegoers that opted to see “Joe Bell” seemed to enjoy it. It has an 80% audience average on Rotten Tomatoes.

Camila Cabello Answers to Accusations That Her Backup Dancer Wore Blackface on The Jimmy Fallow Show!

Camila Cabello appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to perform her new single, “Don’t Go Yet,”but one of her dancers’ appearances stole the show — for the wrong reasons.

via UPROXX: Shortly after the performance, Cabello received a lot of attention after many on social media accused her backup dancer of wearing blackface. As a result, she took to Twitter to address the accusations and clear things up.

“Hey! so this dude was just supposed to be a white man with a terrible spray tan,” in a note she posted on Twitter. “We purposefully tried to pull together a multicultural group of performers, the expectation was not that everyone in the performance needed to be Latin. There are white people, African American people, Latin people, etc. and so the point wasn’t to try to make everyone look Latin either. There are a lot of people in the performance who are not.” She concluded, “The point was to try to make each person look like an over-the-top 80’s character just like in the video, including a white dude with a terrible orange spray tan.”

It’s a little known fact that throughout her career Phyllis went out of her way to partner and enlist  people of  color  in every aspect of her  business.   She believed to “fight the power,” one must keep the dollars within their community, and was very vocal in her business dealings and standards.   Her former business associates confirm that the singer never went back on her word. In full command of every aspect of her career, Hyman embodied the incipient spirit that we now know as “Black Girl Magic” over 20 years ago.   She was truly ahead of her time.

This celebration of Phyllis Hyman is both long overdue and eminently timely. The dynamic artist was ahead of her time. Hyman combined a stunning and statuesque beauty with a seemingly effortless vocal range, incomparable interpretive ability, and a mastery of multiple musical genres, not to mention a flair for the dramatic.  What fans may not know is that Hyman was also a savvy and conscientious businesswoman who ran her own management and publishing company, and was passionate about Black empowerment and entrepreneurship. “I run a Black owned company, in other words it’s a minority-based company, most of my employees are Black or Hispanic,” Hyman told Ebony/Jet Showcase in 1987. “And I deliberately started that years ago because of the unfortunate dilemma of minorities in the workforce. And in the entertainment field where Blacks generate billions of dollars, we don’t often get the opportunity to reap the benefits from that money that we generate. And considering that I generate part of that billion, I’m gonna take it back to the community that put me here in the first place. It’s very important to me.”

About Phyllis Hyman

Born July 6, 1949, in Philadelphia, Phyllis was raised in Pittsburgh and began singing at a young age. She sang with the group New Direction, All the People, and as part of a vocal group called The Hondo Beat before fronting the band Phyllis Hyman and the P/H Factor, which proved extremely popular.  Hyman moved to New York City where she was spotted by noted musician and producer Norman Connors, who asked her to sing on his You Are My Starship project (1976). She performed a duet with Michael Henderson on the title track and also sang a version of the Stylistics’ “Betcha By Golly Wow.” The project effectively launched her recording career.  Her self-titled debut album was released on the Buddah label in 1977, followed by Sing A Song in 1978. Transferred to Arista, Phyllis released Somewhere in My Lifetime (1978). You Know How To Love Me (1979), Can’t We Fall In Love Again? (1981), and Goddess of Love (1983).  Signed to Philadelphia International Records, she released Living All Alone (1986), Prime of My Life (1991), I Refuse to Be Lonely (1995). Sadly, Phyllis took her own life in June of 1995. Forever With You was released posthumously in 1998

LeToya Luckett Updates Fans On Postpartum Weight-Loss Journey In A Swimsuit: 'Ya Girl Is Officially 55 Lbs Down'!

LeToya Luckett is looking good and feeling even better. The star, who is a mother of two (Gianna, 2, and Tysun born in September), has been sharing her postpartum weight-loss journey with fans for months now and she’s had some significant success.

In April, she shared that she lost 30 pounds with help from Body Complete RX, which is a brand, owned by Samia Gore, behind plant-based supplements to aid in weight management and healthy living. At the time, she was three months into her journey and said she had 20 pounds to go. Now that she’s on month five and still using Body Complete RX, it seems the star has reached her goal, showing off her results on a swimsuit during her vacation in Mexico.

“LISTEN Y’ALL!!! Ya girl is officially 55 lbs down 🥳 and feeling sooooo amazing!!! When I tell you when I had Tysun I was tipping 200 lbs on the left! I started @bodycompmeterx TRIM Kit in March and now I’m 145! 55 lbs. Can you see it y’all?!? 👀🙌🏽” she wrote.

“Thanks again to @bodycompleterx for TRIM! This kit helped me bounce back after Gigi too so If you’re really trying to lose weight I HIGHLY recommend it.

The star has been hard at work, taking her followers in the gym with her and as she makes her protein shakes using Body Complete RX.

“This system is truly the best if you’re like me and just need a little help with your appetite or energy plus it is entirely plant-based,” she said earlier this month. “I especially enjoy the protein smoothie. It is the BOMB!”

We’re glad to see she’s meeting her goals and have some added inspiration to meet our own.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Look Like The Perfect Couple In Miami Date Night!

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky look like they are truly in love! The “Desperado” singer and the rapper hit up World Famous House of Mac in Miami on Friday, July 23… and Riri appeared totally smitten! The two superstars posed for some smiling photos with the restaurant’s owner, Derrick Turton, around 1 am. Rocky lovingly wrapped his arm around the 33-year-old, and they reportedly shared a passionate smooch.

Rihanna wore a baggy pair of cargo pants, a white t-shirt and was accessorized with a fluffy boa and a trucker hat (we couldn’t pull off that look). Meanwhile, A$AP was sporting a semi-matching outfit; a trucker hat, camo capri pants, and a Dennis Rodman shirt that read, “Rodzilla.” Don’t forget about the massive diamond ring he wore on his right hand!

The happy couple is in Miami for the famous Rolling Loud music festival, which ends on Sunday, July 10. A$AP headlined, but Rihanna was just there to support her beau. A sneaky fan actually caught the two sharing a passionate kiss while in a nightclub. Rihanna wore a gold dress with hair extensions but switched to the casual camo look when they continued their date night at the restaurant.

A$AP, A.K.A. Rakim Mayers, recently opened up about what having Rihanna’s support means to him. He discussed his documentary, “Stockholm Syndrome,” which focuses on the rapper’s rise to fame and the time he spent locked away in solitary confinement in a Swedish prison in July 2019, with Entertainment Tonight and praised his famous girlfriend.

“It’s important having that support in real life, you know? It’s amazing and I’m honestly truly blessed, for real,” the rapper said. “I think making a documentary is all about vulnerability. The documentary is all about showing honesty, authenticity, purity.”

It definitely seems like their love is pure!

Michael B Jordan to Develop Black Superman Limited Series for HBO Max!

A second Black Superman project is in the works at Warner Bros., with Michael B. Jordan working on a limited series for HBO Max that would be based on the Val-Zod version of the character, according to multiple reports.

Collider first reported that Jordan's Outlier Society has hired a writer. A rep for HBO Max declined to comment, while reps for Jordan and Warner Bros. did not respond to TheWrap's request for comment.

The HBO Max project comes as Warner Bros. is set to reboot the character on the big screen. Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing the script for a movie that would cast a Black actor in the role of Clark Kent, with J.J. Abrams and his Bad Robot set to produce.

Jordan's version would focus on a version of Superman that was Black in the comics. Val-Zod, who is also from Krypton, is from a different universe (the multiverse is a major concept in D.C. Comics), but follows a similar origin story. He is sent away from his home world to Earth after the death of his parents and becomes the second person to take up the mantle of Superman.

HBO Max has other DC Comics projects in the works including spinoffs of "The Suicide Squad" and "The Batman" and a "Green Lantern" series. HBO Max also inherited DC Universe' shows like "Titans," "Harley Quinn" and "Doom Patrol."

‘Black Panther’ Sequel Casts Michaela Coel in a Role!

Michaela Coel has joined the ensemble cast of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the sequel to the hit Marvel film “Black Panther.”

Character details are locked up, per usual. Insiders say Coel has joined director Ryan Coogler at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios, where production began last month. Marvel Studios declined to comment on the matter.

Coel exploded onto Hollywood’s radar in 2020 with her critically acclaimed HBO Max series “I May Destroy You,” for which she’s received four Emmy nominations. In addition to writing, directing and producing, Coel starred in the show as a popular writer processing rape trauma in contemporary London.

Coel’s credits include the Netflix programs “Black Mirror” and “Chewing Gum,” and the feature films “Been So Long” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” She is not currently represented by a talent agency. She works through her indie label Falkna Productions, which co-produced “I May Destroy You.”

The first “Black Panther” grossed more than $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office.

“It’s clearly very emotional without Chad,” Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige told Variety in late June, referring to late star Chadwick Boseman, who died in August 2020 after battling colon cancer. “But everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and back to the fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud.”

While additional cast has not been confirmed, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett will likely reprise their roles from the original film.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is set for wide release on July 8, 2022.

Ed Buck’s Trial Reveals Details Of How He Drugged And Sexually Assaulted Black Men!

The trial of Ed Buck disclosed several gruesome details of how he supplied methamphetamine to entice and coerce two Black men to fulfill his sexual desires.

During last week’s trial, it was described with dozens of graphic videos and images how Buck,66, would pay men to smoke or inject meth while naked in his West Hollywood apartment. Moments later, he would ask them to perform sexual acts in order to fulfill his fetish. He is charged for the deaths of Gemmel Moore,26, and Timothy Dean,55, after providing the men with methamphetamine that later killed them. Both men died 18 months apart from each other and Buck faces an additional charge of running a drug den and persuading individuals to travel for prostitution.

Witnesses also testified that Buck would sexually assault them while they were unconscious from the drugs and were told to wear black skull masks while smoking meth. One witness said he was given numerous drugs where it led him “in a zombie-like state so he[Buck] could do anything he wanted with me.”

WATCH

Buck has pleaded not guilty to the charges since his arrest in 2019 and was known to make charitable donations to Democratic politicians since 2000 as reported by the Daily Mail.

U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder informed prosecutors to slow down with presenting the graphic content since it may traumatize jurors and she also addressed that there might have to be organized therapy sessions after the trial.

Kanye West Reportedly Moved Into Atlanta Stadium To Finish Working On Album ‘Donda’!

Following the listening party for his Donda album, Kanye West has reportedly taken up residence in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to finish the project.

TMZ is exclusively reporting that sources close to the rapper say he has created a studio space and living quarters to hunker down and put the finishing touches on the album. He even brought in a private chef to prepare his meals for him.

Apparently, Ye was so moved by the crowd at Thursday’s listening event that he decided to stay in Atlanta to complete Donda. He was even spotted in the same outfit he wore to the party at an Atlanta United soccer game on Saturday.

Unfortunately, this all means that he will now miss his “surprise” Sunday performance at Miami’s Rolling Loud festival. It was widely reported that West was planning to perform at the festival following the release of his album.

But the release date for West’s 10th studio album has apparently been pushed back. The album, originally scheduled to drop Friday, will now reportedly be released on August 6.

Donda is named after West’s late mother, who passed away in 2007 after experiencing complications from plastic surgery. She was 58.

Alabama Man Wanted For Attempted Rape Caught With 400 Pairs Of Women’s Underwear!

A home search of a man accused of a home invasion and attempted rape turned up hundreds of pairs of women’s underwear, according to Alabama police.

John Thomas Uda, 27, has been charged with attempted rape, three counts of burglary, aggravated criminal surveillance, two counts of illegal possession of a credit card and 50 counts of voyeurism, the Dothan Eagle reported this week.

In early July, Uda allegedly broke into a Dothan apartment, but was caught by the victim, according to police. The two fought and the woman was hospitalized with “minor injuries,” police told the Eagle.

A further investigation determined that Uda had allegedly broken in to sexually assault her.

After his arrest, Uda reportedly confessed to previously having broken into the same apartment to steal the woman’s game console.

While serving a search warrant at Uda’s home, police found 400 pairs of women’s underwear.

“We have a theory that some were bought online because there is a marketplace for that,” Dothan Police Lt. Scott Owens told AL.com.

The other charges stem from separate incidents in which Uda allegedly drive a woman home, watched her undress and taken photos of her debit card and her son’s Social Security card. He also allegedly “was taking pictures of coworkers from the neck down and he would use those to pleasure himself,” according to AL.com.

Uda is being held on a $1 million bond.

Times Square Cop Sues, Says NYPD Bosses Mocked His Haitian Accent, Bullied Him!

A Haiti-born NYPD cop says in a lawsuit that his white supervisors routinely bullied him — and that their routine mockery preceded another officer’s death by suicide.

Officer Steeve Juillet says other cops in the Times Square Command have also been treated unfairly — particularly minority officers, who are more likely to be given assignments, such as transporting prisoners, that make it more difficult to meet the arrest and summonses numbers that are weighed in cops’ job evaluations.

Juillet says his supervisor bulled him by mocking his accent, saying he looked like a homeless person and giving him punitive job assignments and unfair subpar job evaluations.

John Scola, Juillet’s lawyer, said it was important to describe the harsh treatment as bullying.

“I think most discrimination cases are a form of bullying,” said Scola, who filed the suit in Manhattan Supreme Court June 30. “I think bullying is widespread in the Times Square Command, particularly for black officers.”

One of Juillet’s supervisors, Sgt. James Fills, routinely mocked a Times Square cop who took his own life, Juillet said in an interview with The News.

Late in April, the officer complained to Juillet that Fills had made fun of him, the suit says. That night, the officer shot himself to death inside his apartment.

The next day, a Times Square supervisory officer, Sgt. Miguel Brand, said at roll call that the bullying that had been going on in the command had to stop, the suit says.

That pronouncement, the NYPD acknowledges, sparked an internal investigation into whether the deceased officer, who was white, took his own life because of how supervisors treated him.

The probe is nearly finished — and while it’s not clear why the officer killed himself, investigators have interviewed multiple officers and supervisors and found no evidence he was bullied, an NYPD spokesman said.

Juillet, a 10-year veteran, said the NYPD made it easy to reach the conclusion that no bullying was going on.

When he was interviewed about Brand’s statement acknowledging bullying in the command, Juillet was ordered to undergo a departmental psychiatric examination because he broke down while discussing the deceased officer.

“I really feel there’s something going on,” the investigator said to Juillet of his emotional state.

But Juillet, who secretly recorded the interview, alleged retribution.

“There’s nothing going on,” he responded. “I just feel it’s some type of retaliation going on.

“I never said I want to hurt myself.”

He was ultimately cleared by a department doctor and returned to full duty status, the suit says.

“But now everyone knows this is what they did to me,” Juillet told the Daily News. “Of course, no one is going to want to say anything. They’re afraid they’ll do the same thing to them.”

The NYPD spokesman, noting department policy not to comment on pending litigation, did not address the allegations about how Julliet was treated by two defendants in his lawsuit — Fills and Sgt. Sasa Maric.

Neither sergeant responded to a request for comment.

In 2017, the suit alleges, Maric told cops not to ask Juillet for directions because “he does not speak English.” Juillet speaks English with a lilt.

Also, the suit says, Maric would point out homeless people and say, “There goes Juillet.”

Also in 2017, Maric lambasted Juillet for responding to a call of man attempting to jump from a building, says the suit. Juillet told The News Maric was angry at having to file a report about the incident.

In retaliation, the sergeant assigned him to a foot post, a move routinely made against minority officers for perceived wrongdoing, the suit says.

Fills, meanwhile, yelled at Juillet for filing a report as a grand larceny, a felony that affects the crime rate, the suit says.

The sergeant allegedly told other cops the NYPD didn’t want “these kind of people” on the job then assigned Juillet to write moving summonses, posting him in the middle of an intersection “so you get hit by a car.”
