Gucci's Hortus Deliciarum High Jewelry Collection with Jodie Turner-Smith!

British actor Jodie Turner-Smith stars in Gucci’s latest High Jewelry collection, named Hortus Deliciarum or ‘Garden of Delight’. Is Gucci trying to channel Biblical imagery with the female Eve getting humanity kicked out of the Garden of Eden, nearly bringing down the entire human race — or so men wrote?

Clearly Turner-Smith is up to the bad girl, boss lady role as she lounges draped in jewels. taking a midnight dip accompanied by a snake and bird. Not too much ambiguity in these lush images by Glen Luchford [IG] Is that  Diana Ross’s ‘Love Hangover’ in a blast from the past campaign video?

The new Hortus Deliciarum collection, styled here by  Jonathan Kaye, includes more than 130, most one of a kind and its motifs are divided into four chapters inspired by the majestic beauty of the natural world, star-crossed skyscapes, and breath-taking sunsets, writes Gucci Twitter.

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Shared a Photo of PJ That "Makes Your Heart Melt"!

Turns out the "it" factor is genetic. How do we know? Well, Porsha Williams recently posted a few photos of her daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley, that prove that the little kid inherited that certain je ne sais quoi from The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom.

The photos feature PJ posing on a boat. "She literally crawled up there and turned around with this pose!! Natural born star, Lol. Makes my heart melt! Love you," Porsha wrote about her daughter's undeniable star power and impromptu photoshoot. The photos appear to be from a recent vacation Porsha and PJ went on that included Porsha's fiancé, Simon Guobadia, and his kids to celebrate his birthday.

But that's not all. PJ isn't just like her mom in the outgoing personality department; Porsha also posted a photo of herself as a little kid that serves as undeniable proof that Pilar now is her "mini me."

Back in 2020, Porsha elaborated more on the uncanny resemblance between herself and her 2-year-old daughter, whom she co-parents with Dennis McKinley. "It’s there. [The resemblance,] it’s there. I’m telling you, America. Listen," she said at the time in an interview with The Daily Dish. "Just because she looks like Dennis now, you know what I mean? But you can see it because she’s got that baby face. And then me, when I grew up, my face got real slim. But my baby picture, that is my mini me. That’s my little twin. [Dennis] sees it. He tries to deny it too, but he sees it some mornings."

"Right, if one [photo] didn’t look old, you would think that’s the same person. For real," Porsha added about a side-by-side comparison of her baby photo and a pic of little PJ from around that time.

Speaking of PJ's personality, it turns out that she's a perfect combo of both of her parents, as Porsha shared in the same The Daily Dish interview last year. "I would say, you know, she definitely has her father’s focus and determination. And she does have a silly side that comes out around one, two o'clock in the morning. Which is me. And then she has her own little sassy personality. Now some would say it’s from me," Porsha said. "But, she definitely has her own sass, her little attitude, when she wants to."

#HipHopNews: Pop Smoke’s Accused Killer Facing Life Sentence!

One of Pop Smoke’s alleged killers is potentially going to spend the rest of his life in jail.

Bashar Jackson known professionally as Pop Smoke was killed on February 19, 2020.

During a hearing Tuesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office decided not to seek the death penalty for Corey Walker. Instead, Deputy District Attorney Hilary Williams is now seeking the maximum sentence if found guilty which is life without parole.

Nineteen-year-old Walker is set to return to court today to enter a formal plea.

Corey Walker was charged along with two juveniles and another adult with what authorities said was murder with the special circumstance allegation that the killing occurred during the commission of a robbery and a burglary, making him eligible for the death penalty.

According to the Daily Beast, Attorney George Gascon announced back in December that a death sentence is “never an appropriate resolution in any case.” The three minors allegedly involved in Jackson’s slaying have been charged in juvenile court.

This comes a month after the parents of Corey Walker request to meet with the late rapper’s parents privately.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.

NJ Mom Abducted By Ex Found Dead In Tennessee, Son Found Unharmed!

A New Jersey woman abducted along with her son has been found dead in a wooded area in Tennessee. The 2-year-old boy was found alive, and the woman’s ex is now under arrest.

Tyler Rios, 27, was apprehended in Tennessee on Saturday. He is now facing a charge of first-degree kidnapping in connection to abducting his son, Sebastian Rios. Charges related to killing his ex, Yasemin Uyar, 24, are still pending.

An AMBER Alert was issued on Friday after the toddler did not show up to daycare and Uyar failed to show up for work. Police were able to identify Rios as a suspect quickly. The father and son were later found 15 hours after the alert was issued in Monterey, Tennessee. The boy was unharmed.

Uyar’s mother told CBS2 that Rios told authorities where he hid her body. Her remains were then located by police in a nearby wooded area.

According to Uyar’s friends, Rios has a history of abusing her. They also told the outlet that she had a restraining order against him.

“Typical textbook case of domestic violence. Progressively got worse, and this is where it’s ending,” said Robyn Morris, one of Uyar’s friends.

Rios is currently incarcerated in a Tennessee jail and is awaiting extradition back to New Jersey.

Last month, Eric Murphy also posted a photo with his girlfriend on his Instagram account with the gushing caption, “Head over heels in LOVE with YOU.”

Eric Murphy, 32, is Eddie Murphy’s firstborn, whom he welcomed with his then-girlfriend Paulette McNeely. The oldest Murphy child has followed in his father’s footsteps and is a writer and voice actor in Los Angeles. According to talent agency Avalon Entertainment, Eric Murphy is “currently developing an animated series in which he will write and do voiceover.”

Jasmin Lawrence is Martin Lawrence’s oldest child, whom he welcomed with his ex-wife Patricia Southall. The 25-year-old graduated from Duke University in 2018 and has also followed in her actor father’s footsteps, recently making an appearance in 2020’s “Bad Boys for Life,” the third installment in the "Bad Boys" franchise starring her father and Will Smith.

Cuba Sees Biggest Protests For Decades As Pandemic Adds To Woes!

HAVANA, July 11 (Reuters) - Chanting "freedom" and calling for President Miguel Diaz-Canel to step down, thousands of Cubans joined street protests from Havana to Santiago on Sunday in the biggest anti-government demonstrations on the Communist-run island in decades.

The protests erupted amid Cuba's worst economic crisis since the fall of the Soviet Union, its old ally, and a record surge in coronavirus infections, with people voicing anger over shortages of basic goods, curbs on civil liberties and the authorities' handling of the pandemic.

Thousands took to the streets in various parts of Havana including the historic centre, their shouts of “Diaz-Canel step down” drowning out groups of government supporters waving the Cuban flag and chanting "Fidel."

Special forces jeeps, with machine guns mounted on the back were seen throughout the capital and the police presence was heavy even long after most protesters had gone home by the 9 p.m. curfew in place due to the pandemic.

"We are going through really difficult times," Miranda Lazara, 53, a dance teacher, who joined the thousands of protesters who marched through Havana. "We need a change of system."

Diaz-Canel, who also heads the Communist Party, blamed the unrest on old Cold War foe the United States, which in recent years tightened its decades-old trade embargo on the island, in a televised speech on Sunday afternoon.

Diaz-Canel said many protesters were sincere but manipulated by U.S.-orchestrated social media campaigns and “mercenaries” on the ground, and warned that further “provocations” would not be tolerated, calling on supporters to confront “provocations."

The president was due to make another address to the nation at 9 a.m. on Monday, according to state-run media.

Julie Chung, acting undersecretary of the U.S. State Department's Office of Western Hemisphere Affairs, said it was deeply concerned by “calls to combat” in Cuba and stood by the Cuban people’s right for peaceful assembly."

Reuters witnesses in Havana protests saw security forces, aided by suspected plain clothes officers, arrest about two dozen protesters. Police used pepper spray and hit some protesters as well as a photographer working for the Associated Press.

In one area of Havana, protesters took out their anger on an empty police car, rolling it over and then throwing stones at it. Elsewhere, they chanted "repressors" at riot police.

Some protesters said they went on to the streets to join in after seeing what was happening on social media, which has become an increasingly important factor since the introduction of mobile internet two and a half years ago, although connections were patchy on Sunday.

The Caribbean island nation of 11 million inhabitants where public dissident is usually restricted has seen a growing number of protests over the past year although nothing on this scale or simultaneously in so many cities.

The anti-government demonstrations were the largest since the summer of 1994, said Michael Bustamante, an assistant professor of Latin American history at Florida International University.

"Only now, they weren't limited to the capital; they didn't even start there, it seems," he said.

Sunday's demonstrations broke out at around midday in San Antonio de los Banos municipality in Artemisa Province, bordering Havana. Video on social media showed hundreds of residents chanting anti-government slogans and demanding everything from coronavirus vaccines to an end of daily blackouts.

“I just walked through town looking to buy some food and there were lots of people there, some with signs, protesting,” resident Claris Ramirez said by phone. “They are protesting blackouts, that there is no medicine".

President Diaz-Canel visited the town, later saying in his broadcast remarks: "We are calling on all the revolutionaries in the country, all the Communists, to hit the streets wherever there is an effort to produce these provocations".

There were protests later on Sunday hundreds of miles to the east in Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba, where social media video showed hundreds marching through the streets, again confirmed by a resident.

“They are protesting the crisis, that there is no food or medicine, that you have to buy everything at the foreign currency stores, and on and on the list goes,” the resident, Claudia Perez, said.

The protests in Havana started around 3 p.m. and fizzled out around 8 p.m., with some protesters giving up after security forces thwarted their attempt to reach Revolution Square

Cuba has been experiencing a worsening economic crisis for two years, which the government blames mainly on U.S. sanctions and the pandemic, while its detractors cite incompetence and a Soviet-style one-party system.

A combination of sanctions, inefficiencies and the pandemic has shut down tourism and slowed other foreign revenue flows in a country dependent on them to import the bulk of its food, fuel and inputs for agriculture and manufacturing.

Beyoncé Takes Daughter Rumi, 4, Shopping At F.A.O. Schwarz in NYC!

Beyonce wore a yellow midi dress and green heels when she took her mini-me daughter Rumi shopping in New York City. Beyonce, 39, and her rarely seen youngest daughter, Rumi, 4, hit up FAO Schwarz toy store for a day of shopping in the Big Apple. The “Crazy In Love” singer took her mini-me to the world famous shop, located in Manhattan, while the store was closing to the public. Bey wore a yellow midi dress with a blue cardigan and strappy green heels for the private shopping outing. Her daughter donned a white tank top, dark jeans, and white sneakers, as she pulled her braided her back into two pigtails and secured them with pink bows.

The pair stayed for over an hour as they wandered around the store while their security guards kept a watchful eye. The mom-of-three was most recently seen cutting a stylish figure while boarding a helicopter from the Hamptons to New York City on July 7. She flew into the city with hubby Jay-Z to grab dinner in Brooklyn, opting for a pair of high-waisted pants, covered in a bold and colorful tropical floral print. She styled the pants with a long-sleeve white blouse and a white Telfar bag.

While she was in the Hamptons, she and Jay-Z were joined for dinner by Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, who is reportedly buying Jay-Z’s music streaming service, TIDAL, for around $300 million. The couple has been friends with Jack for quite some time and they even all hung out together in the Hamptons last summer with Bey and Jay’s kids, including Rumi’s twin brother Sir. Of course, fans would recall Bey recently sent love to her adorable twins on their fourth birthday.

“What’s better than 1 gift….2,” Beyonce wrote. “Happy birthday Rumi & Sir.” For the most part, the A-lister keeps her twins out of the spotlight, but will sometimes share photos of them for special occasions! Meanwhile, her first child Blue has spent a lot more time in the public eye. The nine-year-old was featured on Bey’s song “Brown Skin Girl,” and won several awards for her small part on the song.

Novak Djokovic Wins Wimbledon for a Record-Tying 20th Grand Slam Title!

Over the weekend, Novak Djokovic won his third consecutive Wimbledon title, defeating Matteo Berrettini in four sets. This is also Djokovic’s sixth overall win at the legendary British tournament. The championship is the tennis player’s 20th Grand Slam title, tying him with elite company for the record, now shared between him and Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

Following his win, he acknowledged the two greats stating, “I have to make a great tribute to Rafa and Roger, they are legends of our sport and the two most important players I ever faced in my career. They are the reason why I am where I am today. They showed me what I needed to do to get stronger, physically, tactically and mentally. Over the last 10 years, it has been an incredible journey that’s not stopping here.”

Djokovic, having won other Grand Slam titles, has said that the Wimbledon win still ranks high in his list of accomplishments. The athlete has won the Australian Open nin times, the U.S. Open three times and twice at the French Open. Djokovic said, “Winning Wimbledon was always the big dream of mine when I was a kid and I have to remind myself how special this is and to not take this for granted. It’s a huge honor and a privilege.”

At the age of 34, Djokovic is now also the only man to win the first three major tournaments in one season. The previous tennis player to hold the record was Rod Laver who accomplished this feat back in 1969. Djokovic has his eyes set on sweeping all four Grand Slams, with hopes of coming out victorious at the U.S. Open in late August.

Djokovic leaves audiences with a final note after the game, “I could definitely [envision] that happening and I hope I will give it a shot. I’m in great form and played well and having my best form at Grand Slams is my number one priority.”

Adele shops at outlet mall with rumored boyfriend Skepta!

Adele may be worth about $190 million, making her one of the richest female singers ever. But apparently, she still loves a bargain.

Shoppers at the Cabazon Outlets, a discount mall just outside San Bernardino, Calif., were stunned to see the “Rolling In The Deep” singer in the discount Prada store there.

Oh, and by the way, she seems to be dating that rapper she said she wasn’t dating.

After People magazine reported last October that she was seeing British rapper Skepta, 38, Adele was at pains to say she was unattached. After the 33-year-old hosted “Saturday Night Live,” she posted a message on Instagram that she ended: “I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am!”

But our spy says she was helping a British guy matching the description of Skepta — and with the same tattoos — pick out clothes.

“She was sitting watching him while he was picking sweaters, pants, trying on jackets and coats and having the employees help him. She was giving him feedback and saying what she thought he looked great in,” the spy said. “It was cute that just waiting and being a normal girlfriend while he looked. He must have shopped for 45 minutes.”

We’re told she also played with a customer’s puppy. It’s unclear what the pair were doing in the area, though the spy speculated they may have been spending some time in nearby Palm Springs, perhaps over the July Fourth weekend.

Adele shows off transformation with new photos on 33rd birthday

It’s no wonder the superstar is pinching her pennies. After all, she did just drop $10 million on her next-door neighbor Nicole Richie’s Beverly Hills mansion. She now owns three homes in the ultra-luxe neighborhood, according to Architectural Digest.

The singer was previously with ex-husband Simon Koneck. The pair reportedly married in secret in 2017, but separated in 2019 after seven years together. Their divorce was finalized in March 2021. They share physical and legal custody of their 8-year-old son, Angelo.

Bucks make NBA Finals a series again on strength of Giannis Antetokounmpo's 41 points!

In the heart of America's Dairyland, for once home cooking in Milwaukee tastes pretty sweet.

The Bucks dominated their first home NBA Finals game since 1974, defeating the Phoenix Suns 120-100 in a must-win Game 3 on the strength of Giannis Antetokounmpo's 41 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in 38 minutes. Following a 42-point effort in Game 2, Antetokounmpo joined LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan as the only players in the last 50 seasons to log back-to-back 40-point Finals games.

Jordan holds the record with four straight 40-point games in the 1993 Finals.

"I'm not Michael Jordan," Antetokounmpo said Sunday, "but all I care about right now is getting one more."

The Suns still lead the series, 2-1. The Bucks host Game 4 on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Milwaukee is now 17-3 at home in the playoffs over the past four seasons, the one constant in a complicated history.

As a sign of how well Fiserv Forum served the Bucks after two straight double-digit losses in Phoenix, Antetokounmpo made 13 of his 17 free-throw attempts. Only once in his playoff career had he shot such a high percentage on at least 10 free throws. He was even more effective in the paint, where he made 14 of 18 field-goal attempts. This was all-time level stuff from a player long criticized for his postseason play.

Unlike Game 2, Antetokounmpo got efficient help from co-stars Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, who combined for 39 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds on 14-for-28 shooting (8 of 17 from 3-point range). Just as important, they led a perimeter defensive effort that held Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges to 33 combined points three nights after that Suns trio torched the Bucks for a total of 81 points.

Milwaukee ran a layup line in the second quarter, scoring 22 points in the paint and outscoring Phoenix 35-17 in the frame. The floodgates opened when P.J. Tucker corralled an offensive board on the baseline and found a cutting Antetokounmpo for a raucous dunk that gave the Bucks a 39-38 lead and forced a timeout.

Suns coach Monty Williams opted to give rising star center Deandre Ayton a breather after the 75-second break, and with only Frank Kaminsky available to play backup, Ayton could merely watch from the bench as Antetokounmpo scored the game's next five points on two layups plus one foul shot. By the time Ayton checked back in with 3:44 remaining in the opening half, Milwaukee led 50-42 and the home arena was rocking. In total, the Bucks closed the second quarter on a 22-7 run to take a 60-45 lead entering halftime.

Worse for Phoenix, Ayton picked up his second and third fouls in the final 92 seconds of the first half and his fourth 95 seconds into the third quarter. This time, Williams turned to wiry second-year forward Cam Johnson in a small-ball lineup, and Johnson responded with 10 points to help the Suns pull within 74-70.

"Sometimes you're going to get a good whistle, sometimes you're going to get a bad whistle," Paul said of Ayton, who scored 16 of his 18 points in the first 15 minutes. "But he's playing hard. That is a talent in itself. And then it's tough, man, Giannis coming at you full speed like a running back, you know what I mean?"

A pair of Holiday 3-pointers turned the tide against Phoenix once again, and Milwaukee closed the third quarter on a 24-6 run (featuring more Kaminsky) to take a 98-76 advantage into the fourth. Antetokounmpo was a monster throughout both Bucks runs, scoring 27 of his 41 points in the second and third quarters.

Whether the condensed seasons are finally catching up to their 36-year-old floor general or his charges were too comfortable on their 2-0 cushion in the series, the Suns were outworked for the first time in the Finals.

"We know that we have to play with an unreal amount of aggression and energy for 48 minutes," said Williams, whose Suns lost on the road for just the third time. "That's the deal. All of our guys know that we didn't. We have had this happen to us before in the playoffs, and so I expect our guys to bounce back."

Paul and company have one more chance in Game 4 to take a commanding 3-1 lead back to Phoenix or face the frightening reality of a three-game set against Antetokounmpo — a growing legend whose confidence in both his hyperextended knee and his extraordinary talent is gaining steam by the second.

"I feel like I've come a long way just to be able to sit here, being interviewed by you guys, playing in this game, being with my teammates, thinking I'm going to be out for a year, coming back," Antetokounmpo told reporters. "It's been a long journey, and I'm trying to enjoy every single moment of it. I've said in the past, I know I'm going to be doing this for a while, for the next 10, 12, years, whatever my goal is. So, I just try to enjoy each day and try to take as much as possible from each day and try to be in the moment.

"Being down or up or whatever the case may be in the series, 20,000 fans outside the arena, cheering your name, cheering for the team and just happy to have NBA basketball at this time of the year with two of the last teams standing 50 years after the last time we had an NBA Finals game, that's amazing. So, I don't worry about the outcome as much as I want to enjoy the game. I want my teammates to enjoy the game, and I know that by enjoying the game I'm going to compete as hard as possible and I'm going to do the right thing to help my team be in the right position and have the opportunity to win any game we play."

The last thing the Suns want is the two-time NBA MVP getting so close to a championship he can taste it.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Black Widow’ Earns Massive $80 Million in Sales During Opening Weekend!

Disney/Marvel has another box office smash to add to the record books with ‘Black Widow.’

via Complex:

The Disney and Marvel superhero flick brought in $80 million in the domestic market and $60 million from Disney+ where subscribers could rent it for an additional $30. The Scarlett Johansson-starring film is the first from Marvel to see a simultaneous opening in theaters and on Disney’s streaming service.

In the international box office, Black Widow garnered $78 million in 46 markets, bringing the total global sales to $158 million. However, China has yet to receive a release date for the film, which is one of Marvel’s most important markets.

“It’s incredible to see audiences enjoying Black Widow after two years without a new Marvel Studios film, and this spectacular opening weekend shows just how eager fans have been to see this beloved Avenger in her own story,” Alan Bergman, Chairman, Disney Studios Content, said in a press release.

He continued, “There’s no question it’s been worth the wait. Cate Shortland, Scarlett Johansson, and the Marvel Studios team have delivered an exceptional film that continues a legacy of creative excellence as the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands and enters a new era.”

Opening weekend projections placed Black Widow in the $140 million range for its global haul. Its $158 million total is impressive, particularly since the MCU movie was slated for a 2020 arrival, which was delayed a number of times due to COVID-19.

“Black Widow’s strong performance this weekend affirms our flexible distribution strategy of making franchise films available in theaters for a true cinematic experience and, as COVID concerns continue globally, providing choice to consumers who prefer to watch at home on Disney+,” Kareem Daniel, Chairman, Disney Media, and Entertainment Distribution, said in the release.

Naomi Osaka Wins 2021 ESPY Award For Best Female Athlete at 2021 ESPY Awards!

Naomi Osaka has made her first public appearance since withdrawing from the French Open and Wimbledon to focus on her mental health.

The 23-year-old tennis phenom attended the 2021 ESPYs in NYC with her boyfriend Cordae and took home the award for “Best Female Athlete.”

“I just really want to not say a long speech because I’m a bit nervous … I know this year has been really, it hasn’t even finished, but it’s been really tough for a lot of us. For me, I just want to say, I really love you guys and this is my first ESPYs so it’s really cool to be surrounded by all these incredible athletes. I think all of you guys are really cool and I watch some of you on TV so it’s really surreal to be here and yeah, thank you so much and I really appreciate it,” Osaka said humbly.

Osaka, who has been very open about her battles with depression was fined $15,000 earlier this year after she skipped out on a post-match press conference following her first French Open victory in May.

Osaka then shocked the sports world when she decided to continue to focus on her mental wellness by pulling out of the 2021 Wimbledon tournament in June.

Woman Duct-Taped to Plane Seat After Attempting to Open Plane Door During Apparent Mental Breakdown!

A woman on an American Airlines flight had an apparent mental breakdown, causing her to try to open the plane’s door mid-flight and attack flight attendants.

Yahoo News reports that as a result, flight attendants had to duct tape the woman to her seat, with the whole incident captured on a since-deleted TikTok video, filmed by user @lol.ariee. The video allegedly shows the unknown woman in first class, with tape on her mouth and body, on a flight that was traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

The person narrating the TikTok said that the uproar began halfway into the flight when the attendants were “running up and down the aisles, frantically kind of like whispering to each other.” She continued, “It was just kind of like chaos and no one knows what’s going on.”

When the pilot finally acknowledged the incident over the intercom, he told passengers to remain in their seats due to “a bad situation on the plane,” though he didn’t describe what was happening.

@lol.ariee said she finally learned what happened from a flight attendant who said that the woman was experiencing a mental breakdown, in which she “had an outburst” and tried to get off the aircraft. “She was saying, ‘I need to get off this plane,’ and she went up to the exits and started banging on the doors, saying, ‘You need to let me off this plane!’” @lol.ariee said.

The woman allegedly started to bite, spit, and attack the flight attendants, which led to her getting duct-taped. American Airlines told the New York Post that a woman “attempted to open the forward boarding door” mid-flight and was ultimately restrained “for the safety and security of other customers and our crew.”

In another video, @lol.ariee said it seemed that “what was happening seemed like it was beyond the woman’s control. She was scared.” She continued, “They should have a better way of going about it…I feel like it was handled poorly.”
