Jennifer Lopez on 30 Years in the Business for InStyle Magazine!

“I love what I do… I can honestly say I’m living a dream,” explains superstar Jennifer Lopez, who graces InStyle’s May Cover. To celebrate her 30th anniversary in the business, InStyle sat down with a few of her co-stars and friends — Ben Affleck, Michelle Obama, Marc Anthony, Matthew McConaughey and others – on what she means to them.

BEN AFFLECK (ex-fiancé and co-star in Gigli, 2003): I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts. She remains, to this day, the hardest-working person I’ve come across in this business. She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves. Where are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I’m in my 40s…at best?

MARC ANTHONY (singer and ex-husband): The thing about Jennifer is her ability to see and understand things before they happen. Before she even brings an idea up, she has visualized it a thousand times. And if anyone says it might not be the greatest idea, she’ll say, “You just don’t see it yet.” Nine times out of 10, she’ll nail it. She’s the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I’ve ever met. When we were together, it was quite the opposite for me. That has changed since. I learned so much from her. She’s the original!

MICHELLE OBAMA: The world knows that Jennifer is blessed with many gifts—talent, beauty, and an unparalleled work ethic. But what impresses me the most about her is her unwavering commitment to leverage those gifts and use her platform to give voice to the voiceless. Whether it’s working to improve health care for mothers and children, encouraging more people to vote, or singing her heart out at a presidential inauguration, Jennifer has always known that life is best when it’s shared with others.

LILI REINHART (co-star in Hustlers): Jennifer never flubbed a line when I worked with her. Even shooting late into the night, she was always in good spirits and had high energy. Can we please do a Hustlers reunion at a strip club when the pandemic ends?

MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY (co-star in The Wedding Planner): Jennifer Lopez—what can she not do? Extremely deliberate, intentional, fully choreographed, and self-aware, she even knows how to make accidents look like accidents. When we acted in scenes together, she would turn in take after take as if timed on a meter, 1:01, 1:00, 1:02, 1:01…yet you couldn’t tell that she was keeping a clock. Her success is not happenstance.

JENNIFER LOPEZ: I love what I do. I’m passionate about it. Every day does not seem like a job to me. I can honestly say I’m living

a dream, and I’m grateful every day that I wake up. I have tireless energy for what I do. I also have an amazing team who help me in every single way both personally and professionally. I really believe the most important thing is to have great people around you.

#RHOA: Kandi Burruss Confirms Falynn Guobadia Never Donated To Her Charity After LaToya Ali Slams Falynn For Flaunting Her Wealth!

There’s definitely something to love about each of our Real Housewives of Atlanta. As a group, these women consistently bring it season after season. That’s not to say the non-peach holders aren’t just as important. Marlo Hampton has certainly earned an honorable mention. This year, LaToya Ali and Falynn Guobadia have also brought some highly entertaining content. Faylynn running around her house with a head full of snakes trying to club Toya was PEAK.

Lucky for us, it seems LaToya and Faylynn will be at it with each other for a while following the Halloween party events. Earlier in the season, they both attended Kandi Burruss’ Kandi C.A.R.E.S  food drive. At the time, it seemed the drama was focused around whether or not Kenya Moore donated to the cause. During the episode, Kandi mentioned not all of her friends were as giving as she had expected. Later we learned Kenya had actually gave a sizeable $5k to the cause. So who was being stingy with their dollars?

On the Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show Kandi and LaToya broke down the Kandi C.A.R.E.S event even more. Latoya started it all saying, “I remember I was wanting to donate to Kandi C.A.R.E.S and I was gonna cash app right then and there. Then Faylynn was like ‘Oh well whats the limit on CashApp? I might have to pull out my checkbook.'” Latoya admits when she heard Falynn’s comment she thought “What is wrong with [her]?”

LaToya continued her take down of Falynn adding, “And then she’s talking about ‘Oh my gosh I have to update my ring’.’ Like girl, you have the whole of fricken Atlanta on your finger. You know what I’m saying? An enormous ass ring. And I just thought that was so tacky because people who have money don’t flaunt it.” Then she goes for the jugular and asks Kandi if Falynn ever actually donated to the cause. Kandi took a few seconds to think about the question before she says “ummmm no.”

Right back to her take down LaToya followed Kandi’s admission saying, “So this has been a front the entire time… but [Falynn] want[s] to stunt and front like [she has] all this money. That’s what pissed me off.”

Kandi attempted to cool things down. She thanked LaToya for her generous donation and then shared, “Honestly I forgot that that happened.” She added, “I guess I wasn’t expecting her to make a donation because we didn’t even know each other that was like our first time meeting.” Latoya countered saying that wasn’t the point. She repeated that Falynn openly said she was going to pull out her checkbook to make a donation, but never did.

Kandi ended the segment saying, “I’m leaving it alone.” LaToya left it with, “Like girl, use that money and invest it into something. These old men will leave you in a heartbeat with nothing in the street for the next young thing.” Okay then!

Rihanna Attends Stop Asian Hate Protest in New York City!

Rihanna is joining the fight against anti-Asian hate crimes. The songstress and fashion designer took to the streets to add her voice to the rally cry in New York City on Sunday.

The "Diamonds" songstress turned up with her assistant, Tina Truong, and joined the #StopAsianHate march.

As seen in photos shared by Truong, and others at the event, Rihanna went incognito with long braids, a ballcap and a black face mask. She stayed warm in a black jacket and dark jeans.

During the event, the singer got into the spirit of the activist movement, as she used markers to help make protest signs and walked through the streets chanting with the crowd.

Truong shared a slideshow of photos and videos from the event, which gave fans a glimpse of Rihanna's protesting, and served as encouragement for others to join the cause.

"This is what solidarity looks like! #stopaapihate #stopasianhate #callitahatecrime," Truong wrote.

As Rihanna stayed low-key at the event, many fellow protestors didn't even realize it was her.

One fan captured a moment in which a protestor asked for her Instagram handle after having marched with her, only to be stunned when he found out who she actually was.

There has been a dramatic rise in anti-Asian hate crimes and attacks against the AAPI communities in the United States over the past year, with drastic increases in physical and verbal attacks across the country.

Numerous celebrities have called for legal intervention and public support, while raising awareness of the increase in hate crimes.

Baylor ends Gonzaga's unbeaten dream in dominating fashion to win 2021 NCAA tournament!

Baylor didn’t give Gonzaga a chance. The most-anticipated national championship game in recent memory was over within minutes.

The Bears sprinted out to a 9-0 lead on the way to an 86-70 victory over the Bulldogs to win the first men's basketball national title in school history. Baylor’s win also ends Gonzaga’s attempt to be the first team since Indiana in 1976 to finish the season undefeated.

Much like it did against Houston on Saturday night, Baylor (28-2) punished Gonzaga (31-1) in the first half. The Bears immediately started deflecting passes and making steals on defense and crashing the offensive glass. If Baylor wasn’t making a shot in the opening minutes of the game, odds are it was getting the offensive rebound.

Just two of Baylor’s possessions within the first eight minutes of the game ended without points thanks to five offensive rebounds. By the time the game hit its second television timeout Baylor had a 23-8 lead and Gonzaga star guard Jalen Suggs had been on the bench for five minutes after picking up his second foul just three minutes into the game.

"[Baylor] dominated both ends of the ball pretty much all night," Gonzaga coach Mark Few told CBS after the game.

Gonzaga made a run at the Bears to end the half but cut the deficit to only 10 at the break. A hot start to the second half never materialized either. Baylor started the final half with a three — after two offensive rebounds, of course — and never was seriously challenged the rest of the way.

Baylor lives up to its rep from 3

Baylor held a double-digit lead over Gonzaga for over 20 minutes from after Gonzaga cut the lead to 13-4 in the first half and 58-49 in the second half.

After Gonzaga cut it to nine with 14:30 to go, Baylor asserted its dominance again. The Bears immediately outscored the Bulldogs 9-2 and capped off the run by a wide-open three from Adam Flagler.

Baylor entered the game as the best 3-point shooting team in the country at over 40%. And the Bears were unstoppable from behind the arc, even as Gonzaga even tried to switch to a zone defense to slow Baylor down.

Baylor finished the game 10-of-22 from three as Jared Butler had 20 points and MaCio Teague had 19. Flagler made his first three 3-pointers off the bench too.

Butler became the first player since Carmelo Anthony in 2003 to have 20 or more points and at least seven assists in a national title game. Mark Vital, meanwhile, finished with 11 rebounds. Eight of them came on the offensive end.

Gonzaga, meanwhile, simply couldn't keep pace. That's a sentence that didn't have a high likelihood of getting typed before the game.

The Zags make over 60% of their two-point field goal attempts and shot well from inside the arc again. But it’s hard to counter twos with threes — especially when your opponent is gobbling up offensive rebounds. And Gonzaga dug itself a hole to start the game with five turnovers before Baylor committed its first of the game.

By the time Gonzaga resembled its normal self the game was out of reach. And it stayed out of reach. Baylor was adept at getting the mismatches it wanted while Gonzaga was on defense — Drew Timme found himself isolated outside the lane a lot — and its quick ball movement led to a lot of open threes.

What Baylor did on Monday night resembled an NBA team in a lot of ways. Both in the number of future pros on the court and with the way it overwhelmed Gonzaga.

Any chance of a Gonzaga comeback unofficially ended with 11:35 to go when Timme picked up his fourth foul of the game on a charge and Baylor was up 16.

Gonzaga was considered the best team in the country for much of the season because of its dominating early-season wins over teams like Kansas, Iowa and Virginia and its undefeated record. Gonzaga and Baylor were originally scheduled to play each other on Dec. 5 in Indianapolis but the game was called off hours before it was set to tip off because of COVID-19 cases at Gonzaga.

The Zags should be very good again in 2021-22, however. Gonzaga could return as many as three starters and has five-star point guard Hunter Sallis as part of its 2021 recruiting class.

Baylor wins in first Final Four since 1950

Baylor hadn't been to the Final Four since 1950 before 2021. And it's easy to see how the program Scott Drew has rebuilt won't go over 70 years between Final Four appearances again.

Baylor has won 20 or more games in 11 of Drew’s last 14 seasons with the team. And the Bears have been ranked in the top two of the AP top 25 in three of the last five seasons.

Prayers Up: Fantasia Hospitalized Over Pregnancy Complications!

In 2020, Fantasia Barrino announced she was expecting her first child with husband Kendall Taylor. Now, only six months into her pregnancy, the singer shared she’s experiencing contractions and is in the hospital.

Posting a series of videos to her Instagram Story, Fantasia provided fans an update on her condition.

“Good morning. We’ve been in the hospital all day,” she began. “We have to stay in the hospital for a while. My baby girl thinks she’s missing something out here, but she’s got to stay in here a little longer.”

Additionally, Barrino praised her husband for his support.

“I thank God for my husband. He’s over there knocked out, poor thing! He’s been riding in there with me,” she said, adding that her contractions were “starting to come down now.”

“My body is just tired, but we’ve got this,” Fantasia said during the video she posted.

In December, the Grammy Award winner opened up about past struggles she’s had with fertility.

During a special guest appearance on The Tamron Hall Show Fantasia said that it had actually taken her years to conceive naturally.

"At first, we thought we were going to have to do different things," Barrino says. "This is a three-year journey we've been on."

Fantasia said that sought help from a doctor who first told her that one of her fallopian tubes had closed, at that time the couple decided to take a break and “let God be God.”

"I kid you not, I forgot about it," she continued. "And then I woke up one night, and I was just like, 'Something's different.'"

Fantasia’s soon-to-be new bundle of joy will be her third child. She has sons Zion and Dallas from a previous relationship while Kendall has a son, Treyshaun, also from a previous relationship.

ESPN fires Paul Pierce after racy, wild video goes viral!

ESPN has fired NBA analyst Paul Pierce, a source confirmed. The decision was made after Pierce published racy Instagram videos on Friday, showing him smoking what appeared to be marijuana and with scantily clad women who may have been strippers.

The news was first reported by Barrett Sports Media’s Ryan Glasspiegel.

Pierce, 43, has been on a bit of a downward trajectory at ESPN but had hung on enough where he was a regular contributor to its top studio shows, “NBA Countdown” and “The Jump.” During a recent show, he went on the air and said the wrong team won. He was quickly corrected.

According to sources, ESPN was particularly miffed that Pierce chose to put the videos out of his own accord. If he had been filmed doing the same activities and they had been made public by someone else, he might have kept his job.

When the news became public Monday, Pierce went on Twitter and posted a four-second video that said, “Smile” and the message, “Big Things coming soon stay tuned make sure u smile #Truthshallsetufree.”

Pierce is expected to be voted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this year.

ESPN, which declined comment, has no immediate plans to replace Pierce, as it has a host of analysts it can rotate in.

Beyonce makes a very rare appearance at Todrick Hall's birthday party in Los Angeles!

They have worked together several times over the years on music videos. And Beyonce made a very rare appearance as she attended Todrick Hall's birthday party in Los Angeles on Monday night.

During the clip, Beyonce, who looked sensational in a tiny gold corset leotard with a bow, ran to hug Todrick after the performance and other members in the audience.

The account Young Ezee, which has 1.7million followers, captioned the video with: 'Not @Beyonce showing up and showing out,' they added while zooming in on the singer: 'Yo, Beyonce killed it.'

The video did not show which song Beyonce performed but at the end Todrick was seen running towards the star as they hugged while the crowd cheered and appeared to shout 'B'.

While the choreographer, whose birthday was on 4 April, went on to thank the star's backup dancers while Beyonce hugged other members in the audience.

Todrick and Beyonce have worked together over the years, he famously helped choreograph her Blow video.

Talking about working with the star in 2013 during an interview with MTV, the choreographer said: 'It's crazy! I got to work with Beyoncé, who is just my favourite artist, next to Justin Bieber obviously.

'It was just an amazing experience. She was awesome to work with and the video finally came out and it was the hardest secret in my life to keep. I wasn't surprised because I knew it was happening, but I didn't know when.'

In 2012, Todrick shared a selfie with the singer to Twitter and joked: 'First time I met @beyonce I literally couldn't breathe; look at my face bahahaha RT.'

While in 2011, Beyonce realesed a special thank you video to the dancer on her official YouTube page after he choreographed a flash mob to her hit singles.

She said: 'Todrick Hall, I don't know if you choreographed, or you just came up with the concept but you did an amazing job and all of your dancers, the little kids, spelling out Beyonce at the end. All of the details, beautifully shot, so creative.'

Todrick looked stylish for his birthday celebrations in Louis Vuitton jeans and a Moschino football-style top.

As well as counting Beyonce as an acquaintance, Todrick is also close with Taylor Swift, he previously said that being friends is one of his 'favourite things he's done'.

It comes after Todrick admitted last year that he 'wasn't surprised' when The Greatest Dancer was axed - blaming it on the deadly coronavirus.

'When I heard about all the social distancing I wasn't surprised [it was cancelled],' he told MailOnline this week. 'If the audience can't be there it won't work. It's like The Voice with no judges and spinning chairs.'

Todrick, 35, also believes the show's cancellation is not definitive.

'I think there's hope [it could return]. We had a great time doing it - me and all the other captains loved it.

'That show gives people an awesome experience to be creative. The production value is one of the best I've seen. And I love that it was about the dancers - they weren't in the background. Everything was awesome - the costumes, staging, props - all of it telling a story.'

The dancer and choreographer also released an album - which he wrote, recorded and finished in just three and a half days - last year.

Todrick brushed off how impressively fast the turnaround was, saying: 'If you think too long about ideas you won't do well in that online space [of social media and content creation].

'Online is all about the fastest, funniest meme and which one gets there the quickest.'

Of his album Quarantine Queen, he admitted that he hasn't dwelled on the negative impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

'There is no deeper meaning to this. It's about making people smile, laugh and getting their minds off the negative parts of all this.

'You turn on the news and just see negative, horrible things. It's not good to just ignore, but I say stay at home and be super creative, that's better than not doing anything with your time.'

Kevin Hart Buys 1959 Chevrolet Corvette For $825,000 At Auction!

Kevin Hart just bought himself an early Christmas present. According to Yahoo! News, Hart went to a Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction where he walked away with a unique find: a 1959 Chevy Corvette.

The two-toned vehicle is powered by 460 hp 6.2-liter V8 from the seventh-generation Corvette, Yahoo! News reports. That is the last front-engine model before the mid-engine C8 came out last year. On top of that, the car is decked out with a custom “Art Morrison high-performance front suspension designed for the C7, Wilwood brakes, a powder-coated frame, retro EVOD wheels, and Dakota Digital gauges,” the outlet reports. The car also has a modern Wonder Bar radio head unit.

Hart attended the auction with his comedy group Plastic Cup Boyz. At the time, the entourage was working on a new show called “Muscle Car Crew” for the MotorTrend app.

Yahoo! News reports that Hart has for some time been a collector of vintage and newly restored cars. He recently had a 1970 Dodge Charger delivered to him back in February. He also purchased a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda.

CBS 'The Neighborhood' Hit With Major Behind-the-Scenes Shakeup!

There are some pretty major changes happening to The Neighborhood's production team. According to Deadline, Jim Reynolds, who created The Neighborhood and also served as the showrunner and executive producer, is departing the CBS series, which stars Cedric the Entertainer and Max Greenfield. Reynolds released a statement about his departure from the show, sharing that he does not feel as though he is the right person to tell this particular story right now.

“I am very proud of The Neighborhood and have given everything of myself over the last three years to make this the best show possible,” Reynolds told Deadline in a statement in response to the news of his departure. “I am so happy that the show has found such an enthusiastic audience and that it will live on. At this moment, in light of everything going on in the world, I had concluded that I am not the right person to continue to tell these stories. I am excited to see the show thrive and wish everyone involved the very best.”

Deadline reported more details about what allegedly led to Reynolds' exit from The Neighborhood. Despite what the producer said, it appears as though it was CBS Studios' decision to have a change in leadership for the upcoming fourth season of the sitcom. CBS Studios reportedly implemented a leadership change after receiving feedback about Reynolds' role as The Neighborhood's showrunner. They reportedly received feedback about Reynolds from two Black staff writers who left the show after finishing up their work on Season 3, which recently wrapped production.

The Neighborhood frequently addresses topics tied back to race, as the show revolves around a white family moving to a neighborhood in Pasadena, California that is predominantly African-American. Reynolds reportedly created The Neighborhood and incorporated his own personal experiences into the series. The former showrunner previously worked on shows such as 9JKL and The Big Bang Theory. At the moment, it's unclear who will be named the new showrunner for The Neighborhood. But, CBS Studios is expected to name a new individual to the position prior to Season 4.

In February, Deadline reported that both The Neighborhood and fellow CBS sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola were picked up for additional seasons on the network. At the time, Thom Sherman, the Senior EVP Programming at CBS Entertainment, released a statement about the renewals, which read, “We’re extremely proud of these two comedies and delighted to bring them back next season. The Neighborhood and Bob [Hearts] Abishola masterfully blend humor with relatable and culturally relevant storylines, and are tremendous, successful Monday night anchors.”

Terry Crews talks about getting revenge on his abusive father!

On Running Wild With Bear Grylls Monday, actor Terry Crews, best known for his incredibly muscular physique, revealed the extremely sad reason why he started working out to increase his strength.

Crews shared that he was only 5 when he realized he would need to start building strength in case he would one day need to fight his abusive father. "Growing up was not a good experience. My father was very abusive, you know, he used to beat my mother. And so, it was one of those things where I knew I would have to get stronger because one day I thought I'd have to fight him. That's how it started out," revealed Crews.

While opening up to Bear Grylls, Crews also shared that his comedy chops came from always wanting to make his mother laugh to offset the sadness in the house. Crews stated, "There was a lot of sadness, you know, with my father being an alcoholic, and it being so violent at home, and I remember just being able to make her laugh, and she would just crack up. I mean, her laugh just reverberated all the way through the house. And, uh, it's one of the things that gives me the most satisfaction today is making people feel good." When Grylls asked Crews if he ever did stand up to his father, the actor revealed that it happened almost 30 years later, in the year 2000.

"We went home for Christmas, and my father decided to beat her one more time. I mean, he had gone years without touching her, and he hit her in the mouth, knocked her tooth sideways, and I was, like, I told him, 'Get the kids out the house. Take the kids, everybody leave. Just leave me and him alone,'" explained Crews, who then admitted that he beat his father.

"Bear, I beat this man," said Crews. "I remember he was begging, begging, and all I could think of was, like, this is how my mother felt. How do you like it? And this is the thing, Bear. I thought it would feel good. And he's on the ground, bleeding, crying, and I didn't feel one bit better. It left me with nothing."

Years later, Crews went to therapy and decided to take a different approach to his relationship with his father, by forgiving him and thanking him for bringing him into the world.

"That was the best thing I could ever think of to tell him," said Crews as he began to get emotional and continued through tears. "We hugged, he cried. Man, all I wanted was for us to be a family and for him to love my mother as much as we loved her. And then at that moment, I knew we had transcended."

Crews concluded by saying that his relationship with his father is still not great, but they are healed. "By me forgiving him. By me finding one thing to compliment him and be thankful for, I was able to transcend that moment and we were able to transcend it and, and get past it. And I find there's a lot of things that you just have to cut your losses on. Move on, and reevaluate the situation as it exists today. And now, I have been able to move on," stated Crews.

Running Wild With Bear Grylls airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on NBC.

Personal Information Of 533 Million Facebook Users Listed For Free On Hacking Site!

Personal information, including phone numbers, full names, locations, email addresses, birthdates, and other identifying information of 533 million Facebook users were posted on a low-level hacking forum.

According to Business Insider, the data breach affected Facebook users from 106 countries, and 32 million records were from United States-based users.

According to Alon Gal, the chief technology officer of the cybercrime intelligence firm Hudson Rock, even though the data leak is a couple of years old, it could still be potentially harmful. Hackers can use the information to engage in identity theft. Business Insider was able to review the information and tested the validity of some of the data.

In January, Gal came across the data when another hacker on the forum offered the information for a price. This weekend, the data set was listed on the hacking forum for free.

CNN reports that you can check to see if your information is part of the compromised data set by entering your email address on haveibeenpwned.com. The website is considering adding phone numbers since only a small fraction of emails were included in the breach.

Tyrese Called Out Over Comments About His Mother’s Drinking and TGT Second Album During ‘Verzuz’!

Tyrese Gibson was caught posting comments during the Earth, Wind and Fire vs. Isley Brothers Verzuz, and people weren’t impressed with what he had to say.

The singer-songwriter and Fast and Furious actor has previously trended for making perplexing comments in inappropriate places in the past, most notably when it comes to his divorce from Samantha Lee Gibson, and his comments during the Verzuz event were no less eyebrow-raising. Obviously, most of the viewers were focused on the event at hand, but plenty of Tyrese’s comments were out-there enough to catch plenty of attention from observant viewers.

He made comments about how he “couldn’t even get a second album out of TGT,” his R&B supergroup with Tank and Ginuwine, but it was what he shared about his mother that prompted his name to trend on Twitter. “Hate that my mother used to drink everyday,” he wrote nonchalantly in the chat. “But SHE’s the reason I know REAL MUSIC!”

As previously mentioned, this is far from the first time he’s been clowned online for oversharing, or just straight-up making strange comments. Last year he caused a bit of a stir when he commented on Tammy and Kirk Franklin’s anniversary post to let everyone know he misses his wife, and in December he suggested that he’s managed to stay clear of COVID-19 by sleeping “with the heat on 90 degrees every night” because “rumor has it if you catch COVID it doesn’t survive warm temperatures.”

Kodak Black Involved In Shooting, Security Guard Injured!

Kodak Black and his entourage had a close call early Monday morning (April 5).

According to TMZ, the rapper and his crew were ambushed outside a fast-food restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida around 3 a.m. ET.

Law enforcement told the outlet gunfire erupted in the parking lot of a Mcdonald's. The shooter reportedly fired shots from a vehicle that was tailing Kodak and his team.

Sources told TMZ the "entourage was being followed by several cars attempting to cut them off as they left a nightclub, and Kodak's camp pulled into the McDonald's and blocked the entrance with a car while KB went inside to pick up an order." Eventually, people inside one of the vehicles began shooting.

Kodak's security guard was shot in the leg as a result of the gunfire. He was later rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries, police told the outlet. Kodak though was unharmed as he was reportedly "whisked away in an armored car."

Kodak's security guard is said to have undergone surgery as one of the shots hit an artery, TMZ reported.

Six Family Members Found Dead in Texas From Apparent Murder-Suicide!

A family of six was found dead inside their Allen, Texas home early Monday morning from what police suspect to be an apparent murder-suicide committed by two sons.

via NBC: Sgt. Jon Felty with the Allen Police Department said Monday afternoon that the police were asked to perform a welfare check on behalf of a friend of a suicidal young man who lived at the home.

Felty said officers arrived at the home on the 1500 block of Pine Bluff Drive at after 1 a.m. and soon found the bodies of six people inside the residence. Those people were identified Monday afternoon by police as 54-year-old father Towhidul Islam; 56-year-old mother Iren Islam; 77-year-old grandmother Altafun Nessa; 21-year-old Tanvir Towhid; and 19-year-old twins Farbin Towhid and her brother Farhan Towhid.

Felty said the two brothers apparently entered into a suicidal pact to end their own lives and take their family with them based on a link to a lengthy letter posted on one of the boys’ social media pages that described in detail what took place and how the boys arrived at their decision.

In the letter, the boys said they both were clinically depressed and hoped to spare their family any grief over their suicides by taking their lives first by shooting them before killing themselves.

“I’ve been here 21 years in Allen. We have never had an incident like this in the 21 years that I’ve been here. So, as you can imagine, it’s just a tragedy. There’s no other way to describe it,” Felty said. “It’s a tragedy that you just can’t imagine. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family members and friends and we’re just very sorry that this event occurred.”

It has not been confirmed when the deaths took place, but police believe they may have taken place on Saturday night based on evidence found in the house. Felty said the investigation into the deaths is ongoing. He added that none of the neighbors reported hearing anything and that there were no reports of any gunfire in the area.

Felty said the family emigrated from Bangladesh and has no known relatives in North Texas. He said police did locate some family members in Florida.

Stunned neighbors and family friends gathered throughout the day as investigators, wearing protective gear, walked in and out of the house.

“The family is very nice and happy family. They were always making fun everything. We don’t understand this,” said friend Deelra Hassan. “We are very shocked. Very shocked.”

The only known contact the family had with the police was a call in 2018 where they reported someone had rung their doorbell and disappeared and they wanted it investigated.

Family friends stress this act does not reflect their Muslim, Bangladeshi culture or the boys they knew.

“They were always jolly and talking,” said friend Mizan Raham. “I don’t know behind the scenes what happened, but this is really, really devastating for the whole community.”

The bodies of six people were found inside an Allen home early Monday morning, the result of an apparent mass murder-suicide, Allen police say.

Police would not confirm more details found in the letter, including how many guns were used in the shooting. However, police did confirm late Monday afternoon that the 21-year-old brother was able to legally purchase a gun recently.

Late Monday, the University of Texas said Farhan Towhid withdrew from school in January. The university called the news about his death “devastating” and extended sympathies to family and friends.

In a Facebook post directed at “community members,” the Islamic Association of Allen said it was “shocked and devastated by this horrific tragedy.”
