On turning 40: “You start asking yourself, ‘Why am I holding back in certain areas of my life? Who am I really living my life for?’ And with age, you figure out that life is too short to waste time thinking about what other people think about you. I’ve realized I am making memories for myself and that I shouldn’t worry about what other people think.”
On moments of weakness: “I experienced a lot of trauma in my childhood—I’ve spoken very openly about it. But I think that was just part of my path. I’ve definitely had struggles in the past with depression and anxiety— it’s a constant battle to overcome a mind that is anxious, a mind that is always second-guessing. I was in a session last night, and I got into my head. Someone told me if I wasn’t feeling it, we could call it. I had been feeling like I wanted to end it, but all it took was someone being supportive for me to be like, “Wait a second, I’m not giving up on myself like that—let’s go, let’s get it!”
On body confidence: “I think we all have our good days and our bad days in how we feel about ourselves. Entering this business, I hated being super skinny. Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves. I appreciated having a booty. I’ve always said that women are way more interesting to look at than men! I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure. I would never want to relive my 20s—you’re so in your own head and finding your confidence. As you age, you stop comparing yourself to other people and start appreciating your own body and owning it.”
On the meaning of beauty: “Accepting yourself is what beauty is really about. As much as I also love being a glam girl and playing dress-up for the camera, when it all comes off, that’s what’s ultimately most rewarding—being able to feel really good about who’s staring back at you in the mirror, because you’re owning all of it.”
#RHOA: LaToya Ali Throws Wig at Drew Sidora, Prompting Near-Physical Brawl At the Reunion!
Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta may have come to a close, but the drama between Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali is far from over.
On Sunday night's finale, the Step Up actress and the Canadian YouTuber got into a near-physical brawl after Drew once again accused LaToya of having a relationship with Prophet Anthony Lott. (Both Prophet Lott, who is single, and LaToya, who is in the process of getting a divorce, denied Drew's accusation during last week's episode.)
The confrontation took place at Cynthia Bailey's white elephant "Friendsmas" holiday party at her Lake Bailey home, where each Housewife and Friend of the Housewives was asked to bring a gift not exceeding $1,000 in value.
Ahead of the party, LaToya, 34, texted Cynthia last-minute and said she wouldn't be attending due to the ongoing drama. "I just got a text from LaToya saying, 'I'm not coming. I don't want the drama. I'm over it,'" Cynthia read aloud.
Fast-forward to the gathering, the ladies ate dinner together and then moved to the couch to play the game. After each woman opened a present — among them were Tiffany's jewelry, Baccarat perfume, a mini Gucci bag and $1,000 cash — Kenya Moore opened the last gift, which was Drew's trio of boxes.
Unlike the other lavish items, Kenya unwrapped three packages, which contained a tape recording, a $100 donation to the Humane Society and Drew's infamous wig.
"This is actually the hair that Kenya was obsessed with, and LaToya," Drew, 35, told the group, holding up the wig that LaToya previously criticized.
When Porsha Williams asked if Drew was "still going to give the $1,000 gift though, right?" Drew said, "That was $1,000, those bundles."
Drew said in a confessional: "It's a gag gift. Let's laugh about it and you got bundles. I spent my $1,000, so I followed the rules."
The time then came for the tape recording to be played, which was allegedly of Prophet Lott speaking with Drew's assistant, Danny, about LaToya.
"So, everybody's been talking about this whole prophet situation and literally God dropped this in my lap. My assistant Danny gave it to me. Danny was really hurt that Prophet Lott was not telling the truth and this was a conversation that they had," Drew told the group. "I just want y'all to sit back and listen, because I do not lie."
On the recording, Danny allegedly asked Prophet Lott: "What is the relationship with Toya?"
"Do I like her? I really do like her," Prophet Lott allegedly responded. "She's an awesome person. But I know the situation 'cause I've been there. I met my 3-year-old's mom while I was still technically married."
Prophet Lott did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
Drew then told the group, "He admits to liking LaToya, and he admits that when he was married, he started to date his baby's mother."
Seemingly coming to LaToya and Prophet Lott's defense, Kandi Burruss said to Drew, "Do you understand why he's saying that? He's saying that he likes LaToya and that he understands the fact that she's married and she's moving on because he's been married before and he moved on."
"If you don't want the truth, that's fine," Drew told Kandi, 44, who responded, "It's not about the truth."
The doorbell then rang and in walked LaToya, who appeared to give a hug to everyone but Drew.
Kenya, 50, proceeded to tell LaToya that prior to her arrival, Drew "just tried to present some stupid recording of a prophet talking about you."
But Drew stood by what she believed to be true. "The truth will go forth. LaToya has issues and things going on, and we have had a lot of drama that she has brought into my life," she said to the women.
LaToya didn't want to hear it, though. "Drew, shut up," she snapped at Drew, who replied by telling her castmate, "Something is wrong with you."
"You weren't looking for God!" Drew continued. "You were looking for some d---. You was looking for prophet d---."
LaToya fired back, "And your man looking for some new p----, 'cause yours is dried up."
The situation escalated as the women stood up, firing off insults and speaking over each other. Finally, LaToya walked away and left the party with Kenya. But it wasn't long before she was back, having forgotten her bag inside. Returning to the gathering, LaToya exclaimed, "I'm going to go meet up with the prophet!"
"If you're with the prophet, say you're with the prophet," Drew told her.
"I'm not with the prophet," LaToya told Drew. "But he did bless my house today."
LaToya then grabbed the wig Drew had brought as a gift and threw it at her costar. Immediately, Drew jumped up off the couch and started moving towards LaToya before two men, who appeared to be members of production, intervened.
At that, the party was over. "You will not put hands on me and you will not throw things at me," Drew said in a confessional. "She is an animal and she needs to be tamed."
Part one of the three-part Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13 reunion begins Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Since being released from Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York in February, Bobby Shmurda has appeared to be on a straight and narrow path while focusing on delivering his highly anticipated album. While fans wait eagerly for Bobby to unleash his first project since 2014's Shmurdaville, the 26-year-old rapper is giving his listeners some insight into who they can expect on the LP.
During an interview on Maino Presents: Kitchen Talks on Thursday (April 15), Bobby Shmurda confirmed he's been working with the likes of DaBaby, Quavo, 42 Dugg, Lil Uzi Vert and possibly Jay-Z to bring his next project to life.
"Man, we got so much new music coming," the "Bobby Bitch" rhymer started. "We got music coming with the biggest artists, from Maino, Quavo, DaBaby, 42, Uzi, Rowdy, Jay. There is so much shit coming out it's gonna be a hot summer."
Bobby didn't name Jay-Z by full name and the interviewers did not clarify if Shmurda meant Jay-Z, Jay Electronica or any other "Jay" named rapper. Still, it's very possible the two generations of Brooklyn rappers may be coming together to give New York City natives their next anthem.
The Shmoney dance pioneer was released from prison on Feb. 23 after serving six years and two months behind bars. The rapper, born Ackquille Jean Pollard, agreed to enter a plea deal and pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession in 2016
#RIP Alma Walhberg Mother of Mark and Donnie Wahlberg Has Died at at 78!
Alma Wahlberg, mother to Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, has died after struggling with an illness, her sons confirmed on Instagram Sunday morning. She was 78.
“My angel. Rest in peace,” Mark, 49, wrote on Instagram with a photo of his mother in healthier times.
“It’s time to rest peacefully, mom,” Donnie, 51, wrote in a long post alongside a video obituary.
“I love you, miss you, thank you and will celebrate you, today and always.”
It’s not immediately clear when exactly Alma died or what the cause was. In July, Donnie had addressed his mother’s health issues, TMZ reported.
“I know that so many of you have asked how my mom Alma is doing. During my visit, she didn’t remember much, and was often confused, but somehow she was still Alma,” he wrote at the time.
“She still lights up a room. She still made me smile. She’s still stubborn. And she still loves her baby Donnie. I thank you all, for your well wishes. Sending my heartfelt love, and sincerest wishes, to all those away from their loved ones.”
The Boston-born mother of nine was a regular fixture on the A&E series “Wahlburgers,” which showed the family’s ambitions to start a burger restaurant that ended up taking off in the New England area.

Donnie previously opened an upscale Italian restaurant in her honor and dubbed it Alma Nove — a reference to his mom and her nine kids.

It’s now reported that Diddy is helping with the funeral expenses for Black Rob.

“But he wants to make sure that Rob is laid to rest with dignity and according to his wishes. He is helping to make the funeral arrangements,” the source added.
Rob’s death was confirmed by friend and fellow rapper Mark Curry, who was with him at the time of his death.
Curry told Rolling Stone that the cause of death was cardiac arrest caused by a rare kidney disease.
The rapper — whose real name was Robert Ross — had a history of kidney failure and diabetes and had suffered several strokes in past years.

He shocked fans with an Instagram post from hospital last week where he mourned rapper DMX and spoke of his own pain.
He was discharged shortly after and in another post revealed that he was near homelessness and battling various health ailments. “Oh man, I’ve been dealing with this for five years,” he said. “Four strokes … I don’t know what to tell you, man. S–t is crazy. The s–t is hard.”
He was hospitalized yet again on Saturday, where he died.
Curry said that Diddy, who signed Ross, spoke to him on Friday and that the pair reconnected after losing touch through the years.
“Before Rob passed, he said, ‘One thing I was going to do before I leave this earth is make sure we all speak to each other again.’ It’s always great to see when people are growing and learning to forgive.”
Deranged man busted trying to break into Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment!
An obsessed super-fan with a history of stalking was arrested after he tried to break into Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment, police sources said Sunday.
Hanks Johnson, 52, allegedly tried to force his way into the “Shake It Off” singer’s pricey Franklin St. pad about 8:30 p.m. Saturday but was foiled when cops arrived, sources said.
A 911 caller notified police that Johnson had broken into the building, sources said.
Johnson has showed up at Swift’s building to ring the doorbell at least five times over the past six months, and the head of security there told him he’s not welcome inside, according to a criminal complaint.
He was charged with criminal trespass and released on his own recognizance after a Manhattan criminal court arraignment Sunday night.
Outside the courthouse, Johnson made a show of sending direct messages to Swift’s Instagram account, and claimed the predictive text suggestions on his phone were actually replies from the megastar.
“‘Taylor’s,’ that means that she wants to work with me. You get that?” he said.
He described himself as a motivational speaker and claimed he was visiting her to “make a presentation” at her request, so they could “place America back on top” economically and “increase the vibrations in America.”
“She messaged me from her place, I think, and she invited me to come over, that’s why I went there,“ he said. “I went to Franklin St. just to communicate with her about the presentation... and that’s when the police came.”
He also showed off a restraining order barring him from contacting models Bella and Gigi Hadid, who are close pals with the pop star.
He told police after his arrest, “She knows that I’m coming here, we’re friends,” the criminal complaint alleges.
Johnson also has a pending stalking case from an October 2019 arrest in Manhattan, though the details of that case weren’t immediately known Sunday night.
Johnson is the latest in a string of stalkers for Swift, who is famous for hits like “Love Story” and “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Lil Nas X says he wants to feature Rihanna and Bad Bunny on a remix of his hit single ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’.
The song, which has topped charts and also attracted criticism since its release last month, returned to streaming services this week after it was temporarily removed.
In a series of tweets this week, the rapper asked his fans to check if the track was still available to stream on Apple Music in their respective countries. He then retweeted replies from fans who were unable to stream the song.
Now, the rapper is already looking ahead to potential remixes for the song. In a new interview on Capital Radio with Roman Kemp, he was asked who his dream collaborators for a ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ remix.
“Rihanna and Bad Bunny,” he replied immediately, to which Kemp responded: “It makes me feel like this may already be in the pipeline.”
“I wish!” Lil Nas X said. “What if I ask for it? I don’t want to jinx it.”
Earlier this month, ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ scored Lil Nas X his second UK Number One single. The song has, however, been caught up in controversy since its release, partially due to the religious imagery used in the video. Right-wing voices criticised Lil Nas X for using scenes based on the Garden of Eden and in which he gives the devil a lap dance.
The star has also been accused of copying elements of the video from FKA twigs’ visuals for ‘Cellophane’. Both Lil Nas X and FKA twigs have addressed the claims, with the latter thanking the rapper for acknowledging his inspiration in a conversation with her.
It was also recently announced that pairs of ‘Satan shoes’ endorsed by Lil Nas X, which allegedly contained a drop of human blood, are to be recalled following a lawsuit from Nike.
The shoes, customised Nike Air Max 97s, were designed without the sportswear giant’s permission upon launch last month.

Chris Evans has responded to Lizzo after she decided to send him a message on Instagram while drunk.
Over the weekend, the singer revealed on her TikTok account that she slid into the Marvel star’s DMs, sending a series of emojis that suggested she was ‘shooting her shot’.
Lip syncing to audio, she joked: “Honestly it hurts me to the core, because damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing.”
She captioned the post: “Don’t drink and DM, kids…. for legal porpoises this is a joke”.
However, Lizzo later updated fans in another post, confirming that Evans had followed her back and sent her a message in response.
“No shame in a drunk DM,” he wrote to her, accompanied by a kiss emoji. “God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol,” before Lizzo is seen screaming in excitement.

Ever since news leaked that Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West back in January, reports have shown how much of a turn their once-ideal marriage has taken. Per a Page Six source, the musician is “super annoyed that the story is being constantly presented as her divorcing him.” The insider also pointed out that part of this is due to the Kardashian family’s “huge spin machine” that controls how the KarJenners are perceived by the public.
As for how things actually played out, the source claimed that it was West who wanted to call it quits first. “Actually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out,” the source explained.
Kardashian, however, wasn’t willing to end their marriage without a proper fight. When that failed, apparently, West let Kardashian be the one to file for divorce first “in order to give her dignity,” the source added.
It’s no secret that the Kardashians like being in control of what gets shared with the public versus what they choose to keep hidden; but does it really matter whose idea it was to get divorced first? We know that both parents are making sure their four kids’ best interests are at play, and we can’t imagine that fixating on this insignificant detail is beneficial for any of the parties involved. It just seems petty.
Ultimately, there are more important things to worry about as they navigate their new separate lives, and this isn’t one of them.

DMX's fiancée Desiree Lindstrom has penned a heartbreaking tribute to the late rapper, marking her first public comments about his death.
The popular hip-hop artist, whose real name is Earl Simmons, died at age 50 on April 9, days after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by 15 children, including his and Desiree's 4-year-old son, Exodus. On Saturday, April 17, she shared her first Instagram post since his death: A throwback photo of herself and DMX cozying up together.

While Desiree did not officially comment publicly about her late fiancé's death until Saturday, she did pay tribute to the late rapper by getting a tattoo in his honor. Earlier this month, New York-based tattoo artist Krystal Kills posted on her Instagram page a photo of Desiree's forearm, now covered by a tattoo of the words "Dog Love"—the name of DMX's 2006 song, over a large "X"—his nickname.
"I feel honored to be able to do this memorial but also saddened," Krystal wrote in her post, which also included a photo of the couple. "Your light was unmatchable. Kobe Bryant to be posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame by Michael Jordan!
It seems apropos that the late, legendary Kobe Bryant will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame by his idol and mentor, Michael Jordan.
Jordan was, by far, the highest-profile speaker at Bryant’s somber memorial service in Feb. 2020 after the legendary Laker, his daughter, Gianna, and seven others passed away when their helicopter crashed in suburban Los Angeles on Jan. 26, 2020.
More than that, the Black Mamba and Air Jordan shared a special and unique relationship as MJ is universally considered the greatest of all time, while Bryant was seen as the player who best emulated him.
“Maybe it surprised people that Kobe and I were very close friends,” Jordan told ESPN.com. “But we were very close friends. Everyone always wanted to talk about the comparisons between he and I. I just wanted to talk about Kobe.”
Bryant will be joined in the 2021 induction class by another all-time great and five-time champion Tim Duncan, who will be introduced by Hall of Famer and former teammate David Robinson. Interestingly enough, Kevin Garnett chose Isiah Thomas to introduce him even though they were never members of the same team nor known to be close friends. Two-time champion head coach Rudy Tomjanovich will be ushered to the stage by fellow Houston Rockets icons Hakeem Olajuwan and Calvin Murphy.
Meanwhile, some reporters were petty and focused on peripheral matters of the induction ceremony that will take place in May 2021.

Tami Roman Gets Her Own Show After Walking Away from ‘Basketball Wives’!
Actress Tami Roman has been on her fair share of reality TV shows, but she is now for the first time getting her own talk show.
In an April 15 Instagram post, Roman announced the good news that a new show for her, “Get Into It With Tami Roman,” will premiere on FOX SOUL on Tuesday, April 20. She shared the promo photo of the show as her post. For the caption, she said, “Whoa! I’m so excited to join @foxsoul with my new talk show #GetIntoIt premiering April 20th 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I’m nervous y’all 😂 See you Tuesday 💛.”
According to PR Newswire, the show is mainly aimed toward Black women, and will feature Roman’s “Bonnet Chronicles” series that she does on Instagram. Roman will also get to connect with her viewers with her “Ask Tami” segment where she will give advice about “relationships, sex, parenting and more.”
In a statement, the former “Basketball Wives” star said, “I am excited to be the newest addition to the FOX SOUL family. They are doing amazing things for the culture and being able to add my spoke to their already successful wheel of programming is such a blessing. I hope that people enjoy what I have to offer.” Roman’s daughter, Jazz Anderson, already works with FOX SOUL and is a host alongside names like Romeo Miller, Zonnique Pullins, and more for one of their shows called “The Mix.

One of her latest films, she was involved in is a movie called “Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Poison,” which can be watched on Starz. In the movie, she stars alongside movie veterans Romany Malco and Regina Hall. It follows an ex-convict (Malco) who, after his release from prison, chases his dream to become a motivational speaker.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez confirmed they had indeed broken up on Thursday, and while their only official comments on the matter were in a statement on TODAY, they are taking very different (and very telling) approaches on Instagram to hint at the breakup. While Rodriguez posted and deleted an Instagram story of framed photos of the former couple while Coldplay's "Fix You" played in the background, Lopez is taking a more subtle route.
Lopez posted a fire photo of herself to her grid, but her likes history is where the true shade lies. Author Reuben Holmes, a.k.a. r.h. Sin, shared one of his quotes on Instagram that reads "Don’t make her think you care when you have never given a f—- about her." He also included a caption alongside the quote saying "Don't let them manipulate you. How many times have you been told 'I love you' by someone who has continued to treat you like s---?" E! News noticed that Lopez liked the post, causing some to speculate that it was a hint as to why she and Rodriguez broke up.
In their official statement, Lopez and Rodriguez kept things cordial. "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so," they said. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support." According to reports, however, Lopez couldn't handle the "broken trust" and allegations of cheating made against Rodriguez.
"[Lopez] has not been happy for a while now," a source told E! News. "Once her trust is broken, there's no turning around. She feels good about her decision because she knows A-Rod will still be in her life, just in a different capacity." Additionally, TMZ reports that Lopez has not returned her massive $1.8 million engagement ring.
‘I’m Going to Sneak This Little Picture’: Loni Love Shares How Tyler Perry Caught Here Taking Photos of His Home After Being Told Not to Do So!
Loni Love disclosed on April 15 during an episode of “E! News Nightly Pop” — with Nina Parker and guest-co-host comedian Kym Whitley — that she got caught taking pictures of Tyler Perry‘s home after Perry previously instructed her not to do so. Aside from the location, “The Real” co-host never revealed when this specific event occurred.
Love said when asked if she got ever got caught red-handed being nosey in someone else’s home, “I went to Tyler Perry’s house. He told me don’t take pictures, but I was so excited!” Whitley, who also visited Perry’s estate, added, “I was there with you, remember that? I remember you doing that.”
She also mentioned how Love didn’t care about the mogul’s house rules while asking the daytime television host to send her the photos from that monumental night. “She didn’t care! She was like, click, click. Send me some of the pictures!”
Love opened up that the reason she wanted to “sneak” a photo in was because Childish Gambino was performing. “I was like, looking all around. I said, ‘Tyler isn’t anywhere around. I’m going to sneak this little picture.’ Childish Gambino was performing, so I was like, ‘I just want like one memory.’ ”
She also said that as soon as she lifted her camera to take the photo, Perry came up right behind her, tapped her on her shoulders, and signaled her to put down her phone.
Some people reacted to Love’s revelation by stating they would’ve been just as excited as the comedian, while some others shared funny responses.

Last month, Love revealed she launched a production company called True Love Incorporated to create content as a Black creative.
The comedian revealed that over the years, black creatives like Issa Rae and Ava Duvernay inspired her to open up her own company. She said, “There is a uniqueness to Black creatives and there are so many different types of voices. You see the Issa Raes and you see the Ava Duvernays, so that’s what actually encouraged me. I decided that I just wanted to open up my own production company where I’m able to work with different types of networks and studios to produce [products] as a Black creative.”
Five Teen Girls Climb Apartment Fire Escape To Steal Cash, Michael Kors Purse, Jewelry, and More!
The New York Police Department is searching for five teenage girls accused of breaking into a Bronx apartment by climbing up the building’s fire escape.
The NYPD released an 18-second video clip from last Sunday night showing the teens trying to access a building’s fire escape near Sheridan Avenue and East 168th Street in the Concourse Village section of the borough. The girls are described as being between 16 and 18-years-old, CBS New York reports.
Authorities said the girls used the fire escape to break in through a bedroom window. They allegedly stole $500 in cash, a Michael Kors purse, jewelry, and a credit card. No one was hurt during the commission of the robbery.

Two decades ago, Whitney Houston declared her then-husband Bobby Brown as the “King of R&B” and was mocked for it. But now, Jermaine Dupri is ready to give Bobby the props he deserves.
In a series of posts on his Instagram story, Jermaine Dupri discussed his participation in an upcoming documentary about the bad boy of R&B and said it was time to give Bobby his flowers.
“Bobby Brown is truly the King of R&B, don’t get it f*cked up,” Dupri said.
Jermaine went on to explain why Bobby is the blueprint for today’s R&B artists
“It ain’t many artists that come out, and they understand they swag before they records come out, they understand they look… they vocals be right and then they go work with all the right producers,” Dupri explained.
“You ain’t really seen many artists in this era of music, especially in R&B, do that at all,” Jermaine argues.
“When I say he’s the King of R&B. The reason why I say that is because it ain’t many people who had an album that stands up to [Don’t Be Cruel],” he said.
