Drew Barrymore For Health Magazine!
Drew Barrymore is gracing the January cover of Health’s first-ever Change Issue. The iconic actress and talk show host shares her thoughts on everything from parenting and self-care to the power of positivity, kindness and joy of friendship.
On parenting with honesty with so much going on in the world: “I am extremely honest, and I try to be honest in a way that doesn’t scare them. What I do not want to do is take my kids’ sense of security and safety away—that’s me robbing them of something by keeping them informed. But they are very informed. They know exactly who is doing what, and what is happening, and they are incredibly tuned-in on our world. We’re just going to figure out a way to be totally worldly, mindful, aware, astute, super empowered with all the information—my biggest art is to do it without instilling fear. They march in marches, and they canvased our building to get people to vote.”
On looking at change in a new light: “Change is everything. It’s so vital. Everything is always changing, but there are also fundamentals. I think 2020 made us rethink our fundamental everything. It’s hard to predict where our country will be—what will be representative of our morals. The only thing we have control over is ourselves, and that’s not selfish and indulgent. You only have control over how you take care of people. And I do think that’s the meaning of life. We’re here to take care of each other.”
On the wellness practice she hasn’t mastered yet: “I’ve never had balance—I think balance is an elusive bitch who has evaded me my entire life. I’m just ready to wrestle her to the ground and have an old-fashioned, hair-pulling girl fight with her. I’m the most wrecking-ball pendulum of extremes, with no pretty little middle. I’ve got her pinned down right now. It feels better than usual. [The past year] has been, in a lot of ways, a really healthy year for me, ironically, considering everything going on. I exercise, and I had already gained the weight everyone else talked about gaining—I had been doing that every year prior.”
On why working out isn’t her top priority: “I’m not a straight arrow, so I will never be all one thing—eating the perfect food and working out every day. I just will never be that person. Between my kids and work, I don’t have the time in life. But I realized that if I’m more consistent about it and carve out the time for it, it leads to a better life. Before, it was all workout or none. And that really didn’t suit me. I had to prioritize it, but I will tell you, it is, like, third on my list. It probably should be first, but it’s, like, kids and work are probably rivals. But I’m glad about that, because years ago working out was, like, number 24 on the list. Actually, my health is fourth on the list—my friendships are third. But, hey, it’s in the top five—so that’s good.”
The January/February issue is available for sale December 18th.
#RHOA: Kenya Moore Goes After Porsha Williams For Being ‘Fake’ Also Shades Activist Tamika Mallory!
Kenya Moore has responded to her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Porsha Williams, and activist, Tamika Mallory after the duo blasted the reality star for shading Porsha’s activism and arrests.
As reported—Kenya implied that Porsha’s social justice fight was all for the RHOA cameras, during a sneak-peek clip of the upcoming episode. Porsha’s friend, Tamika Mallory, took to Instagram to stand up for Bravo activist, and Porsha also took Kenya to task, on Tuesday. It didn’t take long for the reality star to clap back.
Kenya addressed Tamika’s defense in one of her Instagram Stories.
“@TamikaDMallory Thank you Queen for your comment to me. But my eyes and ears and my magna cum laude education are my only friends – not google. I respect all the real and important work you do and BTW, I was correct.”
“Since many are fans of RHOA, let’s watch the entire season and decide what is real or fake – not just a clip from an episode yet-to-be-aired.”
Kenya did not back down from calling out Porsha’s motives—and fired some additional shots in the same post.
“I’m not here to write a book/get ahead of a bad storyline/play victim/use good cause to help a bad image. Speaking of Porsha, as a person you have always looked up to and always copies, you can’t educate me on anything but how to install a good lacefront and be a freak. (no shade as YOU said before the dark heart comment). Please drive your “hate Kenya train” onto the same tracks as the underground railroad you thought existed 5 minutes ago.”
Kenya continued to slam her co-star, spilling some alleged behind-the-scenes tea.
“Or when you begged producers to cut out you out being bothered by Kandi making progress for #BLM on our behalf. We see you for real. Oh, interesting that you ask people to #vote but excluded cast members in your voting PSA.”
Watch the frenemy drama unfold on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sundays at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.

#HipHopNews: Kanye West’s Follow-Up ‘Emmanuel’ Ep Is Here!
Kanye West and his Sunday Service Choir are making the presence of the Holy Spirit known with Ye’s new compilation project Emmanuel.
LISTEN HERE
The Emmanuel EP, executive produced and composed by Kanye himself, takes a step away from the bellowing gospel hymns embedded in his 2019 Jesus Is Born album and derives the literal angelic sonic profile from, “ancient and Latin inspired music.” The title for the release is also inspired by the long-lost language and translates to, “God is with us.”
A common thread that both the new Emmanuel EP and his previous Jesus Is Born album share is the lack of actual verses from Kanye — like those that appeared on his Billboard Chart-topping soundtrack Jesus Is King.
Wendy Williams Shares Holiday Photo With Son!
Wendy Williams appears to be in okay spirits this holiday season. The talk show host shared a personal picture of herself with her son spending Christmas together. In the image, Wendy Williams seems to be relaxing as she sits on a sofa with her son’s arm around her. She captioned the family moment,
“Merry Christmas to YOU! My son & I have been enjoying ourselves! Crepes for breakfast, lots of TV & laughter. Now it’s time for veggie rice, Large scallops, falafel & vegan pizza!! Lots of snacks all day. My favorite part of US is our conversations.”
Wendy Williams continued and reminded her fans when they can expect to see her show back on the air.
“Life is never perfect but WE are grateful. Can’t wait to be back with you all on Jan 4 and am counting down the days until my @lifetimetv doc and movie on Jan 30.”
As we previously reported, “The Wendy Williams Show” announced earlier this month that it will be going on hiatus, seemingly due to the death of Wendy Williams’ mother. The announcement read,
“Next week, The Wendy Williams Show will air repeats to allow Wendy to travel and be with her family at this time. The show will return with original episodes on Monday, January 4th. Debmar-Mercury extends its deepest condolences to Wendy and her family.”
Prior to the announcement that the show was going on a hiatus, Wendy Williams’ brother, Tommy Williams, shared that he feels his sister needs to take a break from the show. In a YouTube live video, he said,
“You know it’s mental health. It’s life, you know she might be a celebrity and out there on the stage and everything…. She’s a child of somebody as well you know. She’s a sister. She’s an aunt. She’s a mother. You know how that goes ladies and gentlemen and then it’s all laid out on stage so it’s like you know, what are you gonna do? She’s the type of person, and this is the problem, as I told her and I often tell her, ‘You don’t know how to take a day off…’ For somebody so instrumental in her show then you got to know whether to stay or go and that was her setback I think. Hopefully she makes some changes and I know she’s doing a lot better now.”

Rumored Couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Celebrate Christmas Together in Barbados!
Well, folks, it looks like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are indeed a couple! On Christmas Eve, the duo were spotted holding hands while heading to a catamaran sunset cruise in RiRi's native Barbados. According to People, the rapper arrived at the Caribbean island on Dec. 23 to meet with the Fenty Beauty founder, who had already been there for a week. "Rihanna has been in Barbados since [last] Thursday," a source told the outlet. "A$AP joined her and they are spending Christmas together with Rihanna's family." It's reportedly their first Christmas as a couple.
Their holiday outing came nearly four weeks after People exclusively revealed that the longtime friends were dating. "They've been inseparable the past few weeks," a source confirmed to the publication. "It's a new relationship, but they both seem very into it. They've always seemed to have a great time together. They have a lot in common. They both are very much about helping out in the communities where they grew up A$AP is generous, and so is Rihanna. A$AP is known for being a great guy. Rihanna seems very happy dating A$AP."
While Rihanna previously dated businessman Hassan Jameel, whom she split from in January, A$AP was previously linked to Kendall Jenner in 2017 and model Daiane Sodrรฉ in 2019. It appears as though Rihanna and A$AP's friendship - as well as their frequent collaborations, including their 2012 song "Cockiness," the music video for A$AP's 2013 track "Fashion Killa," and Rihanna's Fenty Skin campaign from this past July - has led to a romantic spark. Let's just see if they officially confirm their relationship

Jessica Simpson Shows 100-Pound Weight Loss In Christmas Pic!
During a time of year when many are indulging in holiday sweets, Jessica Simpson showed off her impressive 100-pound weight loss with a new picture on Christmas Day.
Simpson, who turned 40 earlier this year, flaunted her fit frame in a holiday-inspired red-and-white onesie shared to her Instagram.
Simpson laughs in the photo, which shows her red sweatpants had fallen to her knees. The longsleeve onesie hugs her smaller frame. She’s also wearing a matching wool hat.
“So I thought Eric [Johnson] was taking a photo from the waist up…,” Simpson captioned the pic.
Stars reacted to Simpson’s jaw-dropping weight loss in the comments section.
The singer-turned-fashion-designer flaunted her weight loss throughout the year. Her personal trainer Harley Pasternak told E! News earlier this year that he credited her toned legs to getting in 14,000 steps a day and full-body workouts.
“We slowly ramped those up; we started really easy and slowly increased them,” Pasternak said of the fitness regimen. “We started with doing a full-body workout, one set of each exercise, not really doing too much intensity per body part and gradually increasing the volume and intensity. Focusing on a few muscle groups per day. Different muscles each day of the week.”
Simpson’s health journey has her feeling like she did before she had kids, Pasternak said. “[She’s] in control of everything and [has] such a great attitude of not beating herself up if she doesn’t eat perfectly every day.”
In a post from October, Simpson shared a photo on her business account in which she showed off her toned abs while wearing a black sports bra, which featured a keyhole in front, and high-waisted leggings.
The mother of three revealed she’s lost 100 pounds since welcoming her daughter Birdie in March 2019. Simpson and Johnson, a former NFL player, also share kids Maxwell Drew, 8, and Ace Knute, 7.
She told People magazine that chasing her kids around “all day, every day” helped keep her in shape.
“I also have the most active husband ever,” she said. “If you marry an athlete, you got to stay on your feet.”
‘Growing Pains’ Star Jeremy Miller Slams Kirk Cameron For Caroling Events!
Jeremy Miller, who played younger brother Ben Seaver on the sitcom “Growing Pains,” has blasted his co-star Kirk Cameron for his controversial caroling events.
Cameron, 50, has gotten flak for recently hosting not one but two Christmas caroling events in California, attended by mostly non-mask-wearing revelers at a time when Southern California hospitals are filled to capacity with patients suffering from COVID-19.
“While I will always love my brother Kirk,” Miller exclusively told Page Six over email, “I could not disagree more with his holding these maskless events at a time when safety and concern for others is an extreme priority.”
“I truly couldn’t be more disappointed in him,” the 44-year-old somberly ended the note.
Miller, who co-hosts a podcast called “The Xander Effect,” isn’t the only “Growing Pains” star to express concern.
Last week, Tracey Gold, who played Cameron and Miller’s bookish on-screen sister Carol Seaver, spoke out via Twitter.
“Check with my dear brother Mike. @Kirk Cameron I want you to know that I refuse to be your brilliant sister. I care about you and your family. Wear a mask. Stay home and then sing.”
Meanwhile, Cameron’s real-life sister Candace Cameron Bure tweeted on Christmas Eve that she did not attend the caroling events but stood up for her family in light of the criticism.
“I did not attend any recent caroling events,” the “Full House” star, 44, wrote. “Also, I choose to follow the greater guidelines by wearing a mask and social distance when I’m in public. However, I don’t appreciate the vile tweets about my family. I believe respectful dialogue is the key to being heard. Stay safe.”
Unemployment Benefits For Millions Expire As Trump Rages!
Unemployment benefits for millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet lapsed overnight as President Donald Trump refused to signed an end-of-year COVID relief and spending bill that had been considered a done deal before his sudden objections.
The fate of the bipartisan package remained in limbo Sunday as Trump continued to demand larger COVID relief checks and complained about “pork” spending. Without the widespread funding provided by the massive measure, a government shutdown would occur when money runs out at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
“It’s a chess game and we are pawns,” said Lanetris Haines, a self-employed single mother of three in South Bend, Indiana, who stood to lose her $129 weekly jobless benefit unless Trump signed the package into law or succeeded in his improbable quest for changes.
Washington has been reeling since Trump turned on the deal after it had won sweeping approval in both houses of Congress and after the White House had assured Republican leaders that Trump would support it.
Instead, he assailed the bill’s plan to provide $600 COVID relief checks to most Americans — insisting it should be $2,000. House Republicans swiftly rejected that idea during a rare Christmas Eve session. But Trump has not been swayed in spite of the nation being in the grip of a pandemic.
“I simply want to get our great people $2000, rather than the measly $600 that is now in the bill,” Trump tweeted Saturday from Palm Beach, Florida, where he is spending the holiday. “Also, stop the billions of dollars in ‘pork.’”
President-elect Joe Biden called on Trump to sign the bill immediately as the midnight Saturday deadline neared for two federal programs providing unemployment aid.
“It is the day after Christmas, and millions of families don’t know if they’ll be able to make ends meet because of President Donald Trump’s refusal to sign an economic relief bill approved by Congress with an overwhelming and bipartisan majority,” Biden said in a statement. He accused Trump of an “abdication of responsibility” that has “devastating consequences.”
“I’ve been talking to people who are scared they’re going to be kicked out from their homes, during the Christmas holidays, and still might be if we don’t sign this bill,’’ said Rep. Debbie Dingell, a Michigan Democrat.
Lauren Bauer, a fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution, has calculated that 11 million people would lose aid from the programs immediately without additional relief; millions more would exhaust other unemployment benefits within weeks.
Andrew Stettner, an unemployment insurance expert and senior fellow at the Century Foundation think tank, said the number may be closer to 14 million because joblessness has spiked since Thanksgiving.
“All these folks and their families will suffer if Trump doesn’t sign the damn bill,’’ Heidi Shierholz, director of policy at the liberal Economic Policy Institute, tweeted Wednesday.
How and when people would be affected by the lapse depended on the state they lived in, the program they were relying on and when they applied for benefits. In some states, people on regular unemployment insurance would continue to receive payments under a program that extends benefits when the jobless rate surpassed a certain threshold, Stettner said.
About 9.5 million people, however, had been relying on the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program that expired altogether Saturday. That program made unemployment insurance available to freelancers, gig workers and others who were normally not eligible. After receiving their last checks, those recipients would not be able to file for more aid, Stettner said.
While payments could be received retroactively, any gap would mean more hardship and uncertainty for Americans who had already grappled with bureaucratic delays, often depleting much of their savings to stay afloat while waiting for payments to kick in.
They were people like Earl McCarthy, a father of four who lives in South Fulton, Georgia, and had been relying on unemployment since losing his job as a sales representative for a luxury senior living community. He said he would be left with no income by the second week of January if Trump refused to sign the bill.
McCarthy said he already burned through much of his savings as he waited five months to begin receiving about $350 a week in unemployment benefits.
“The entire experience was horrifying,” said McCarthy. “I shudder to think if I had not saved anything or had an emergency fund through those five months, where would we have been?”
He added, “It’s going to be difficult if the president doesn’t sign this bill.”
The bill, which was in Florida awaiting Trump’s signature, would also activate a weekly $300 federal supplement to unemployment payments.
Sharon Shelton Corpening had been hoping the extra help would allow her 83-year-old mother, with whom she lives, to stop eating into her social security payments to make their $1,138 rent.
Corpening, who lives in the Atlanta area, had launched a freelance content strategy business that was just taking off before the pandemic hit, prompting several of her contracts to fall through. She was receiving about $125 a week under the pandemic unemployment program and says she would be unable to pay her bills in about a month. This, despite her temporary work for the U.S. Census and as an elections poll worker.
“We on the brink,” said Corpening, who lobbies for Unemployment Action, a project launched by the Center for Popular Democracy to fight for relief. “One more month, if that. Then, I run out of everything.”
In addition to the unemployment benefits that have already lapsed, Trump’s continued refusal to sign the bill would lead to the expiration of eviction protections and put on hold a new round of subsidies for hard-hit businesses, restaurants and theaters, as well as money for cash-starved transit systems and for vaccine distribution.
The relief was also attached to a $1.4 trillion government funding bill to keep the federal government operating through September, which would mean that failing to sign it by midnight Tuesday would trigger a federal shutdown.
