Young Millennial Actress Storm Reid is the Cover Girl for InStyle Magazine’s November Issue!
Storm Reid is featured on one of the Subscriber covers for InStyle’s magazine November issue. “The Euphoria” star spoke about working with Hollywood’s top stars, her “bonus big sister” Zendaya and representation in the industry.
On her positivity: “People think of me as somebody they can look to for positivity, but, truthfully, I’m just a young girl trying to figure it out,” she says. “I’m actually a pretty shy person, and when I’m not in front of the camera, I’m much more introverted.”
On representation in the industry: “The projects I choose to be part of are very intentional,” she says. “I see each one as an opportunity to have a progressive conversation and represent people and situations that are underrepresented. Young girls deserve to see themselves onscreen. Because how can you feel like you’re able to succeed when you don’t see yourself succeeding?”
On Chadwick Boseman: “He dedicated his life to being part of projects that benefited us as a Black culture, and that’s what I want to try to do,” she says. “I’m really happy to be a young Black woman in the space I’m in—to be accepted, to be loved, and for people to appreciate my work—and I want to create opportunities for people who haven’t been given them yet. Ms. Ava took a chance on me, so why wouldn’t I take a chance on someone else?”
On Zendaya: “I’ve been a fangirl of hers since the beginning of time, and now she’s like my bonus big sister,” says Reid, who plays Gia Bennett, the younger sibling of Zendaya’s character, Rue, on the hit HBO series. “She’s so genuine, and whether I need advice about ‘growing up in Hollywood,’ as they say, or just advice as a teenage girl trying to figure out life, she’s always a phone call away.”
The November issue of InStyle, available on newsstands, on Amazon, and for digital download October 23.

#NewMusicVideo from Miguel Drops ‘Funeral’!
One year after releasing the song, Miguel dances with the devil in the dark and twisted video for “Funeral.”
The black-and-white clip, co-directed by Philippa Price and Nina McNeely, opens with the R&B singer standing on top of a pile of bodies before being tied up to a mattress. Donning eyeliner and body glitter, a possessed Miguel dances alongside his demonic co-stars before being laid to rest in a coffin.
“I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since we filmed this,” said Miguel. “Way before we had any notion of how different our world would be just a couple short months later. Because this is just the beginning of a new, lush chapter in my artistry, what I loved most about working with Philippa is how easily she and Nina took my vision to the next level. They are both beautifully insane and I love that.”
Miguel, who recently performed during Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Vol. 2 show, is now readying the fourth installment in his Art Dealer Chic EP series, which started in 2012.

“I took a long hiatus from the business of music to reassess my objective as a creator,” he said. “The Art Dealer Chic EPs have always been reserved for freedom, self-curation and honest expression without the influence of music industry politics. I’m excited to introduce my fans to a very different world in my creative expression, and that begins with ADC 4.”
“Funeral” is the first official release from Miguel since his 2017 album War & Leisure.
#HipHopNews: 21 Savage And Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode 2 Album Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200 Chart!
21 Savage has scored his second No. 1 album. On Sunday (Oct. 11), Billboard unveiled the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart, revealing 21 Savage and Metro Boomin's new Savage Mode 2 album has debuted in the top spot. The new collaborative studio album pushed 171,000 equivalent album sales including 22,000 traditional album sales. The album's songs totalled 200.1 million on-demand streams.
The impressive debut marks an increase in sales of over 1,000 percent more than what the first Savage Mode project moved in its first week out, back in 2016. The first offering, which served as 21 Savage's breakout release, featured the spearheading singles "X" featuring Future and "No Heart." The new album features 15 songs and has guest spots from Drake ("Mr. Right Now"), Young Thug ("Rich Nigga Shit") and Young Nudy ("Snitches & Rats"). The album also features narration from Academy award-winning actor Morgan Freeman.
If album sales are any indication, 21 Savage's stock is on the rise. His debut studio LP, Issa Album, moved 77,000 units when it was released in 2017 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. His sophomore album, I Am > I Was , came out the gate with 133,000 units and entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 1 in 2018.
Other hip-hop artists in the top 10 of this week's Billboard 200 chart include Pop Smoke (Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, No. 3), YG (My Life 4Hunnid, No. 4), Bryson Tiller (Anniversary, No. 5), Machine Gun Kelly (Tickets to My Downfall, No. 6), Juice Wrld (Legends Never Die, No. 8), YoungBoy Never Broke Again (Top, No. 9) and Lil Baby (My Turn, No. 10).
King LeBron James wins his fourth NBA championship, leading the Lakers to their 17th Ring!
The Los Angeles Lakers outscored the Miami Heat by 20 points in the second stanza to take a 28-point halftime lead en route to a 106-93 win that secured the franchise’s record-tying 17th NBA championship.
In his record-setting 260th playoff game, LeBron James became the first player to lead three different teams to a title, logging 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in 41 minutes on his way to a fourth ring. He was also named Finals MVP for the fourth time unanimously. Only Michael Jordan has more with six.
“We just want our respect,” James said after accepting the trophy on the postgame broadcast. “Rob [Pelinka, the Lakers’ general manager] wants his respect. Coach [Frank] Vogel wants his respect. Our organization wants their respect. Lakers nation wants their respect. And I want my damn respect, too.”
Anthony Davis added 19 points and 15 rebounds. He is a champion for the first time. Davis owned the interior on both ends, the reason the Lakers outscored the Heat by a 34-16 first-half margin in the paint. Davis dedicated the victory to Kobe Bryant, the Lakers legend who died in a helicopter crash this year.
“We didn’t let him down,” said Davis. “Ever since the tragedy, all we wanted to do is do it for him. ... It means a lot to us. It’s a tough moment. He was a big brother to all of us, and we did this for him.”
Neither James nor Davis ignited the second-quarter stampede. It was Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rajon Rondo who combined for 20 of the Lakers’ 36 points in the frame, pushing the lead to as large as 30 just before the break. A Lakers team long criticized for its lack of depth had plenty when it mattered. Caldwell-Pope and Rondo made eight of their 10 shots in the quarter, and the game was over. The series was over. The NBA’s bubble experiment was over. The 2019-20 season, after 355 days, was over.
The 34-year-old Rondo scored 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting off the bench to join Hall of Famer Clyde Lovellette as the only other player to win titles with the Lakers and rival Boston Celtics. Rondo was 22 years old when his Celtics beat the Lakers by a close-out record 39 points in Game 6 of the 2008 Finals.
Sunday’s game seemed headed that way until Miami took a chunk out of the deficit in the fourth quarter.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, his best production since returning from a neck strain that cost him Games 2 and 3 of the series. Miami’s Goran Dragic played for the first time on the plantar fascia tear he suffered in Game 1, contributing five points off the bench.
Neither resembled the players that led the Heat to the Finals, and it took two monumental performances from Jimmy Butler to take two games from the Lakers in this series. Butler played as though his 47 minutes of Game 5 had taken their toll, totaling 12 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in the loss.
“I didn't hold up my end of the bargain, so that means I got to do it next year,” Butler said following his first season in Miami and first Finals appearance. “I told Coach Pat [Riley], I told Coach [Erik Spoelstra] I'm here to win one. I didn't do my job, so moving forward, I got to hold up my end of the bargain.”
Vogel’s decision to start Alex Caruso in place of Dwight Howard unlocked a small-ball lineup that dominated on both ends. Davis held down the paint, James locked up Butler, and Caruso, Caldwell-Pope, Rondo and Danny Green chased around Miami’s shooters all night, holding the Heat to a 36.2 field-goal percentage through three quarters, before garbage time altered the reality of an annihilation.
The Heat, a fifth seed entering the playoffs, have no reason to hang their heads. Few gave them a chance to win the Eastern Conference, and they made the Finals a series when injuries had everyone writing them off again. With the exception of James and the champions across the hall, no player’s legacy was altered in Orlando more than Butler, whose will to win challenged James like few others have before him.
“These are going to be lifetime memories that we have together,” Spoelstra said after choking back tears to begin his media availability. “Regardless of whatever happens in the future, we’re going to remember this year, this season, this experience and that locker-room brotherhood for the rest of our lives.
“We had several guys who were not even close to being 100 percent, probably shouldn’t have been playing, but that’s how this group was,” added Spoelstra, who coached James to his first two titles in 2012 and 2013. “They wanted to do it for each other, and I’m really bummed that we couldn’t find a way to get over the hump and finish the season with a win, but that’s taking nothing away from the Lakers.”
Game 6 was not the contest these thrilling NBA playoffs deserved, but history was made nonetheless. After three months in a bubble without a single positive COVID-19 test among the 374 players who participated, the NBA crowned its premier franchise and premier player champions again, just as James had promised Lakers owner Jeannie Buss upon signing with the franchise in free agency two years ago.
Ten years after Bryant last led them to a title, the Lakers are kings again, now led by James, whose pursuit of a fifth ring begins when next season commences. That would match Lakers legends Bryant and Magic Johnson, with Jordan’s six still hanging over him. Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.
Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott Taken To Hospital After Gruesome Ankle Injury!
In what may have been the most gruesome injury suffered by a quarterback facing the Giants since Theismann’s leg splintered beneath Lawrence Taylor in 1985, Prescott was tackled by safety Logan Ryan on a 9-yard scramble midway through the third quarter and had his right ankle twisted in the takedown. By the time Ryan came off him, Prescott was sitting on the turf — almost in shock — with his foot dangling at an ugly angle off the end of his leg.
The Cowboys said he suffered a compound ankle fracture and dislocation. He was carted off the field in tears and was taken to a nearby hospital for surgery on Sunday night.
How did the Giants react to it?
They were shaken. All who spoke to the media after the game offered mostly unsolicited thoughts about the opposing quarterback.
None seemed as troubled by the incident as Ryan, who fractured a fibula during a game two seasons ago.
"The worst thing that happened today was the Dak injury," Ryan said, putting it ahead of the heartbreaking 37-34 loss the Giants suffered. "Bigger than football. I felt terrible. It was a routine football play . . . It sucks."
Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett — who was Prescott’s head coach for the first four years of his career — came out on the field to look in on the quarterback while he was being attended to by the medical staff.
As Prescott was carted away, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones gave Prescott a quick gesture of sportsmanship.
"Just waved at him, wanted him to know we were thinking about him," Jones said. "Didn’t get a chance to say a whole lot to him, but yeah, tough to see someone like that go down, and we’ll be praying for him."
What does this mean for Prescott’s future?
That remains to be seen. He was playing this season on a franchise tag after being unable to come to a long-term agreement with the Cowboys during the offseason. He’ll be a free agent next season . . . if there even is a next season for him.
Said Ryan: "I’m sick to my stomach about it because he’s a guy who is doing everything right to get paid. It’s not fair. It’s not right . . . I hope he gets $500 million when he comes back because he deserves it."

According to Comscore, Christopher Nolan's action film moves into the second spot with $2.1 million bumping 1993's Hocus Pocus into the #3 position with $1.2 million. Rounding out the top five are Fox's The New Mutants with $685k and Unhinged from Solstice Studios, which earned $660k.

Jay-Z and Team ROC Post Bond And Pay Fines For Alvin Cole’s Mother And Others Arrested At Wisconsin Protests!
Jay-Z and Team ROC posted bond for a group of protesters arrested in Wisconsin stemming from the decision not to charge the officer who shot and killed 17-year-old Alvin Cole. Among those protesters was his mother, Tracy.
Thursday night in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, police arrested 24 people for violating the city’s 7 PM curfew. The group alleged that Tracy Cole and another were injured due to the officers’ use of “excessive force” during the apprehension, both requested medical attention. Officers will seek additional charges but will have to review the video of the incident and other evidence, CBS News reported.
The social justice branch of Jay-Z’s ROC Nation stepped up to the plate by paying an undisclosed amount of court fees for Cole, her daughters Taleavia, Tristiana, and Tahudah, and several other protesters who were arrested that evening, a spokesperson for the organization told CBS News.
“Our hearts break for the family of Alvin Cole and the Wauwatosa community. Not only did the District Attorney’s Office fail to hold Officer Joseph Mensah accountable for killing Alvin, but the local police also arrested and injured Alvin’s mother, Tracy, and his sisters as they peacefully protested alongside Jacob Blake’s father,” Dania Diaz, the executive director for Team Roc.
Protest in Wauwatosa sparked after Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm’s decided not to charge officer Joseph Mensah for fatally shooting the teen on February 2. The D.A. reported that there was “sufficient evidence” that the officer had “subjective belief that deadly force was necessary and that belief was objectively reasonable.”
Mensah responded to the scene and began the pursuit of two subjects. He fired several shots at Cole, who was in possession of a stolen 9mm handgun. It has been alleged that Cole aimed the gun at Mensah.
K. Michelle Posts Concerning Tweets About That Someone Is Blackmailing Her And Accusing Her Husband, Dr. Kastan Sims, Of Cheating On Her!
On her Twitter account, the ‘Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta’ alum reveals that someone is blackmailing her and accusing her husband, Dr. Kastan Sims, of cheating on her.
K. Michelle sparks concern with her new posts on Twitter. In a string of tweets on Saturday, October 10, the “Can’t Raise a Man” singer revealed that someone is blackmailing her and accusing her husband, Dr. Kastan Sims, of cheating on her. The whole thing apparently caused a rift between her and her husband.
It's Stronger Than Adderall And Taking The Country By Storm
“I got a girl in dm black mailing me4money telling me my husband is cheating on me,he’s mad @ me for talking 2her, my grandma just had a stroke, I got people trying 2stop my career, I have people making fun of my surgery&health,I have random dude I never slept with lying on me,” so K. Michelle laid out things that bothered her recently. “I just can’t do it anymore.”
In a separate tweet, the R&B star said that she’s “tired of always being messed with and lied on.” She went on expressing her frustration, “No matter how hard I try, people still manage to find a way to find something wrong with me or a way to gain clout. I’m over it. Yeah, I’m strong but i’m tired. I just don’t wanna be here no more.”
The former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star went on to tweet, “I have constant hate mail no matter how hard I try to help my community. I have people showing up at home to get video footage of me I don’t know.” The singer claimed that although she did try hard to “remain peaceful,” she felt like “the universe just won’t let me be.”
Device That Supercharges WiFi Speeds is Flying Off the Shelves in the US
Concluding her messages, K. Michelle wrote, “I really just wanna be left alone. Im over it.” Her post arrived on the same day as World Mental Health Day. To mark the day, she told her followers and others who are struggling, “You don’t have to suffer in private. To the millions of people suffering from mental illness you are not alone.”
Fans quickly showed support for the “Love ‘Em All” singer. “I hope she finds peace….she’s also quite messy so some of this might be a tab bit of karma,” one fan said. “This world is wicked. But all that hate a person projects is a reflection of the hate they carry inside of themselves. I used to care what people thought till I found meditation, that changed everything for me. When you can’t find happiness in the world outside of yourself, you got to go within. I pray somebody around her can help her find her inner peace,” one other added.
“Mental health has never been a joke and it’s more important now than ever that we take tweets like this serious. Praying for her,” someone commented. Blasting the haters, another user said, “Y’all love to act like these celebrities ain’t human.”
Tatum O'Neal Allegedly Threatened Suicide and Was Placed on Psychiatric Hold in September!
Actress Tatum O'Neal was reportedly suicidal at her California home and was placed on a psychiatric hold after an alleged incident in September. Law enforcement sources told TMZ the 56-year-old star allegedly threatened to throw herself off a balcony. The news came a few weeks after O'Neal reunited with her father, actor Ryan O'Neal, with whom she has had a difficult relationship with for decades.
The police and fire departments responded to a call at O'Neal's Los Angeles-area home for a report of a suicidal person, sources told TMZ. O'Neal allegedly threatened to jump from a balcony. O'Neal was taken to a local hospital, where she was evaluated and put on a psychiatric hold. No other details of the alleged incident were reported. O'Neal's representatives did not comment.
O'Neal is the daughter of Ryan, 79, and the late Joanna Moore. She wrote about the dysfunctional relationship with her father in the best-selling autobiography A Paper Life. After being estranged for 20 years, O'Neal credited Farrah Fawcett's death in 2009 with playing a role in reuniting the two. "She brought us back together," O'Neal told PEOPLE in 2010. "He told me he’s sorry," O'Neal later explained. "He’s all I have in terms of family, and I needed him in my life. My dad was absolutely everything to me."
Last month, O'Neal's son Sean McEnroe shared a photo of a family reunion on Instagram. The reunion included his siblings Kevin McEnroe and Emily McEnroe. O'Neal's younger brother Griffin, who has also struggled with addiction, was missing from the picture, notes PEOPLE. "This is one of the most memorable photos of my life. The last time we were all together was at the 30-year Paper Moon Anniversary in 2003," McEnroe wrote. "I could cry tears of gratitude that everyone in this photo is still alive and that we were all able to come together again after so many years of hardship. The entire West Coast is burning, but if the O’Neals can reconcile, truly anything is possible."
O'Neal shot to fame when she starred in Paper Moon with her father in 1973. The following year, she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at age 10, and she still holds the record for the youngest person to win a competitive Oscar. Throughout the 1970s, she continued racking up memorable performances in The Bad News Bears, International Velvet, and other films. She still makes occasional appearances in films and on television, starring in episodes of Criminal Minds and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She also competed in Dancing With the Stars in 2006.

Dr. Fauci Says He Was Taken Out Of Context in New Trump Campaign Ad!
In an exclusive to CNN, Dr. Anthony Fauci said he did not give permission to being featured in a new advertisement for the Trump campaign pushing Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Fauci wants it known that he was taken out of context in the new campaign ad, “In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate. The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials,” Fauci said in his statement.
Last week, after Trump was discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for his coronavirus diagnosis, the Trump campaign released the 30-second ad—which is airing in Michigan, tout’s Trump’s personal experience with COVID-19 and uses excepts statements from Fauci to make it seem as if the doctor applauded Trump’s response.
“President Trump is recovering from the coronavirus, and so is America,” the ad’s narrator says. “Together, we rose to meet the challenge, protecting our seniors, getting them life-saving drugs in record time, sparing no expense.” Now, this is where it gets sketchy, the ad then flashes to an interview where Dr. Fauci says, “I can’t imagine that anybody could be doing more.”
The clip of Dr. Fauci was extracted from his March interview with Fox News when he praised the White House coronavirus task force’s around the clock efforts to act against the pandemic.
The new ad did not include the March date when it was inserted, which makes it highly likely that people will be misled to believe Dr. Fauci was touting Trump, which wouldn’t be a surprising tactic used by Trump and his campaign team.
“We’ve never had a threat like this. The coordinated response has been…There are a number of adjectives to describe it — impressive, I think is one of them. We’re talking about all hands on deck. I, as one of many people on a team, I’m not the only person,” Fauci said at the time. “Since the beginning, that we even recognized what this was, I have been devoting almost full time on this. I’m down at the White House virtually every day with the task force. It’s every single day. So, I can’t imagine that under any circumstances that anybody could be doing more.”
The other issue of this fabricated message is that it uses a voice trusted by voters, speculating that Trump’s new ad was a political move. The celebrity-commander-in-chief has privately and publicly compared Fauci’s approval with his own. At the end of July, Trump publicly questioned why Fauci’s approval ratings soared, and his were low.
“It’s interesting: he’s got a very good approval rating. And I like that, it’s good,” Trump said. “Because remember: he’s working for this administration. He’s working with us. We could have gotten other people. We could have gotten somebody else. It didn’t have to be Dr. Fauci. He’s working with our administration. And for the most part, we’ve done what he and others — and Dr. (Deborah) Birx and others — have recommended.”
Trump continued: “And he’s got this high approval rating. So why don’t I have a high approval rating with respect — and the administration — with respect to the virus? We should have it very high.”
ABC News Sunday, Jon Karl, said he requested an interview with the doctor—an offer Fauci agreed to do, but the White House blocked the appearance
Kentucky Ag Daniel Cameron Files Motion To Ban Grand Juror From The Breonna Taylor Case!
Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron wants to make sure that the details in the Breonna Taylor case remain quiet.
Cameron has filed a motion as an attempt to ban an unidentified grand juror from publicly speaking about the details during the indictment proceedings. As reported by The Root, the juror filed a motion requesting that Cameron release the audio recordings of the proceedings and also requested the right to speak freely of the case and the process.
While announcing the motion Cameron said, “As I’ve stated prior, I have no concerns with a grand juror sharing their thoughts or opinions about me and my office’s involvement in the matter involving the death of Ms. Breonna Taylor.”
He continued, “However, I have concerns with a grand juror seeking to make anonymous and unlimited disclosures about the grand jury proceedings. Allowing this disclosure would irreversibly alter Kentucky’s legal system by making it difficult for prosecutors and the public to have confidence in the secrecy of the grand jury process going forward.”
