#RHOA: What’s Up with this Chick? NeNe Leakes References George Floyd While Saying she’s Being ‘Ganged Up On’ By her ‘RHOA’ Castmates!
NeNe Leakes is under fire after she referenced George Floyd while discussing her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” drama in a recent interview.
According to NeNe, she was “ganged up” on by her castmates – similar to the way George Floyd was “ganged up” on by the police officers who killed him.
NeNe’s exact quote was:

I felt very ganged up on. And for all of you out there who can say they don’t know what ganged up on is…Google the definition of “gang up.”
Gang up is more than one person on a person at the same time. George Floyd was ganged up on.

WATCH
He was physically ganged up on and I have felt verbally ganged up on many times and that is not fair to me.

#HipHopNews: Lil Wayne And Nicki Minaj Talk Creating a Joint Album!
Lil Wayne returned with another episode of Young Money Radio on Friday where he welcomed Nicki Minaj.
Fresh off the record-breaking release of her “Trollz” collaboration with 6ix9ine, the First Lady of Young Money—who Wayne declared the “queen of every fu**ing thing”—phoned in via FaceTime to discuss her music and married life.

Nicki, who is rumored to be pregnant, confirmed that she’s in the studio, while also revealing why she’s been absent from social media. “I’m definitely working but I was also just taking time off social media in general. It can be so extra,” said Nicki. “I think everybody needs that time to themselves and their family and to think.”

Last month, she earned her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as a featured guest on Doja Cat’s “Say So” remix. “It was a great surprise, but I never have built my career on whether or not something goes No. 1 ’cause most of the things that I have that will stick forever in rap, it never went No. 1 but my stamp is there regardless,” she said.
Weezy congratulated her on her marriage to Kenneth Petty and asked how married life is treating her. “I can’t complain. I really cannot friggin’ complain. I didn’t think it would be as refreshing and calming as it is,” said Mrs. Petty. “But you know, even if you’re not married, just when you have somebody that feels like your soulmate or is very understanding or understands you. It just make you feel like you on top of the world. You just need that partner.”

Elsewhere in the 10-minute interview, they discussed a potential joint album. “When we gonna do this?” Wayne asked Nicki, who responded, “Your wish is my command.”
Fans have been asking for a collaborative project, and she’s down to make it happen. “I would definitely do it, whenever you say the word,” she told Tunechi.

The last time the two collaborated was on a remix to Post Malone’s “Rockstar” for Wayne’s 2017 mixtape Dedication 6.

Before the interview ended, a grateful Nicki thanked Wayne for being so instrumental in her career. “Shout out to you Wayne for giving me my start, for always believing in me,” she said.

The 2020 BET Award Nominations are out and Drake Leads With Six!
Champagne Papi is leading the pack at this year’s BET Awards. The Toronto rapper has snagged six nominations, among them a nod for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist of 2020. Drake’s other nominations come via collaborations with artists Future and Chris Brown—the partnerships have landed him two spots in the Best Collaboration category, another two chances at the Viewer’s Choice Award and a shot at Video of the Year (with Brown for their song “No Guidance”). Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch come in hot on Drake’s heels, earning five nominations each in some equally big categories.

Megan, who’s recent remix of her song “Savage” features none other than Beyoncé (also a multiple nominee at this year’s ceremony), is in the running for Album of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Viewer’s Choice and Best Collaboration (with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign). Hot girl summer is back—or never left.

Newcomer Ricch (who released a Black Lives Matter remix of “Rockstar” spearheaded by fellow nominee DaBaby over the weekend) is up for Best New Artist, Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Album of the Year, Video of the Year and Viewer’s Choice but already a Grammy to his name thanks to his appearance on Nipsey Hussle’s track “Racks in the Middle.” The list of quadruple nominees includes icons like Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and self-proclaimed bop-star Lizzo. This year marks the 20th anniversary for the awards show, which celebrates not only the music industry but film, television and sports, too. Bonus: Beyoncé was nominated across two industries thanks to her groundbreaking film/live album, Homecoming. Seeing as it’s such a big milestone for BET, the show will make its national broadcast premiere on CBS when it’s simulcast live across ViacomCBS networks and organizers have figured out creative ways to celebrate the night with “an array of innovative techniques and artist-generated content,” according to organizers. “The show will continue, allowing the audience to join in a celebration of Black love, joy, pride and power with an all-star lineup.” The virtual party kicks off June 28, hosted by comedian and Insecure actress Amanda Seales and featuring performances from Alicia Keys, Chloe x Halle, DaBaby, D Smoke, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Kane Brown, Lil Wayne, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Usher, Wayne and more.

Tyler Perry Is Paying For Rayshard Brooks’ Funeral!
Tyler Perry is stepping in to pay for the funeral services of Rayshard Brooks, a 27-year-old black man gunned down by white police officers in an Atlanta Wendy’s drive-thru.

During an emotional press conference on Monday (June 15), Brooks‘ family attorney, Chris Stewart, announced that Tyler Perry will be paying for the funeral.
Rayshard Brooks, a father of four, is one of the latest victims where an unarmed black man has been fatally shot by a white police officer. This comes just three weeks after the killing of 42-year-old George Floyd, another black man pinned down by three officers, of which former officer Derek Chauvin, kneeled on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, fatally killing him.
This isn’t the first time entertainment mogul, Tyler Perry, has tapped his resources to help people in need. The actor recently provided his private plane to Rev. Al Sharpton and Gwen Carr, the mother of Eric Garner, to attend the funeral of George Floyd.

Tyler Perry has spoken out about these troubling times and praised Oprah, Jay Z, Diddy and others for doing the same.

He also plans to assist homeless women, displaced LGBTQ youth as well as sex trafficking victims by building a compound for them on his 330 acre property, which is also home to Tyler Perry Studios.

Woman who confronted neighbor for BLM message apologizes: 'I should have minded my own business'!
In a viral video that has amassed widespread criticism and over 12 million views on Twitter since it was posted Thursday, the Pacific Heights resident was seen confronting one of her neighbors for stenciling "Black Lives Matter" in chalk on his own property. The neighbor in question, James Juanillo, filmed their conversation as she questioned whether he actually lived there and accused him of defacing the pavement.

Alexander eventually called the police on Juanillo, who later said that officers recognized him as a resident of the property and left without getting out of their patrol car.
But after watching the video, the CEO of skincare line LA FACE said she was "shocked and saddened" by her behavior.

"There are not enough words to describe how truly sorry I am for being disrespectful to him last Tuesday when I made the decision to question him about what he was doing in front of his home," Alexander wrote in a statement shared by ABC7 on Sunday afternoon. "I should have minded my own business."
Since the video was released, Alexander appears to have deleted her Twitter account and the website for LA FACE is now inactive. Birchbox, a former distributor of the skincare line, later announced it had cut ties with her brand and would not work with it again in the future.
"The last 48 hours have taught me that my actions were those of someone who is not aware of the damage caused by being ignorant and naive to racial inequalities," wrote Alexander. "I did not realize at the time that my actions were racist and have learned a painful lesson."

Juanillo, who identifies as Filipino, said he has rented the house for nearly two decades.
"People should ask themselves if this Karen would have believed me if I said, 'Yes Maam, I sure do live in this multi million dollar mansion, for almost 18 years now!'" he tweeted on Saturday. "If she was capable of believing that in the first place, she would never have bothered me."

Aaron Glee Jr. Arrested for Double Murder of Black Lives Matter Activist Oluwatoyin Salau & AARP Volunteer Vicki Sims!
The suspect who was taken into custody after being accused of murdering a missing Black Lives Matter activist and an AARP volunteer from Tallahassee, Florida has been identified as 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr.
Police have also identified the victims as 19-year-old Oluwatoyin Salau and 75-year-old Victoria “Vicki” Sims.
Both women were well-known in activist circles and actually knew each other after meeting during recent protests against racial injustice and police brutality.
Salau, also known as “Toyin,” frequently spoke at Black Lives Matter protests, while Sims—a grandmother and retired state worker—was was well-known for her volunteerism and work in local Democratic politics.

Salau and Sims were both found dead in a double homicide Saturday night (Jun. 15), the Tallahassee Police Department said in a press release on Monday.
According to Tallahassee Police, Salau and Sims’ bodies were found in the 2100 block of Monday Road. Both women had been reported missing before being found dead in the area.
Sims, a volunteer with the Tallassee AARP chapter, went missing on June 11th.

An AARP spokesperson who confirmed Sims’ death Sunday (Jun. 13) stated: “Vicki worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others – as a dedicated advocate for older Americans; a committed volunteer for AARP, Second Harvest Food Bank of the Big Bend and other community causes; a devoted mother and grandmother; and a passionate, fully engaged citizen, helping our nation to achieve its highest ideals.”
Salau was last seen on June 6th at a library off Orange Avenue and Wahnish Way in Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Democrat reported.

The day she disappeared, Salau tweeted that she’d been sexually assaulted by a man in his mid-40’s days earlier after he offered her a ride to find somewhere to sleep and to retrieve her belongings from a church she’d taken shelter in to “escape unjust living conditions.”
It wasn’t clear if the man mentioned is the same man who’s being accused of her murder.
Toyin’s brother, Oluwaseyi Salau, told the Tallahassee Democrat: “There is no justice that can be served that will replace my sister’s life.”

A friend of Toyin’s, Danaya Hemphill, said she last saw her the day before she went missing. “I had a feeling that we were not going to find Toyin alive,” the 22-year-old woman said.
Salau attended several Black Lives Matter protests, and during each demonstration, she would recite the names of black people killed by police, such as Jamee Johnson of Jacksonville, Tony McDade of Tallahasse, George Floyd of Minneapolis, Breonna Taylor of Louisville.
“I don’t want their names gone in vain,” Salau said during one protest last month in front of the Tallahassee Police Department.
Hemphill never thought her friend’s name would ever be a part of that list.
“Toyin was very passionate,” Hemphill said. “She was very vocal she was very loving, very spiritual, very caring. Toyin she was like a light in a dark room. That was Toyin.”

Aaron Glee Jr., the man identified as the suspect in Salau and Sims’ murders, has since been taken into police custody, though no details about his arrest or the charges he’s facing have been released by police.
According to police reports, Glee was previously arrested on May 29th for aggravated battery after an officer waiting at a stoplight saw him kicking a woman in the stomach. The victim in that case was neither Sims nor Salau.

The woman told police she and Glee had been drinking alcohol together and were walking down the sidewalk when he propositioned her for sex.
“She told him no so Glee became angry, shoved (her) to the ground and began kicking her in the abdomen,” the police report stated.
Online records showed a misdemeanor battery charge was filed against Glee on June 6th—the same day Salau went missing—however, those reports weren’t immediately available.

Glee was also arrested last year for a marijuana possession charge, however, prosecutors dropped it, court records noted.

‘The View’ Co-Host Sunny Hostin Reacts To ABC Exec’s Alleged Racist Comments!
Sunny Hostin, co-host of “The View,” addressed a report that a top ABC News executive used derogatory and racist comments about her and other on-air figures.
Hoston said on today’s episode that the report — published in HuffPost on Saturday — “tells me that systemic racism touches everything and everyone in our society. Regardless of social stature, no one is immune. It is the type of racism that black people deal with every single day, and it has to stop.”

ABC News put Barbara Fedida, senior vice president of talent, editorial strategy and business affairs for the network, on administrative leave as an investigation is conducted. ABC News president James Goldston told staffers on Monday that an outside law firm is being retained to conduct the probe.
On Saturday, HuffPost published Yashar Ali’s report that detailed allegations, including one instance in which Fedida referred to Hostin as “low rent.” The story, citing unnamed sources, also reported on an instance in 2018 when Fedida was sitting with colleagues discussing contract negotiations with “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts, and “then asked what more Roberts could want and said it wasn’t as if the network was asking Roberts to ‘pick cotton.’” The story also cited incidents involving other journalists, including Kendis Gibson and Mara Schiavocampo.

Hostin said, “It was a tough weekend for me, and I was really disappointed and sad and hurt when I heard about the racist comments that were made, allegedly, about me, my colleagues and my dear friends, because if true, to reference Robin Roberts, who is one of the most respected and beloved journalists in our country, as ‘picking cotton,’ to reference me, someone who has been very open about having grown up in public housing, as ‘low rent,’ to reference Kendis Gibson, who was my office mate at ABC and now is an MSNBC anchor, to say that he isn’t worth paying as much as ABC would pay for toilet paper, the fact that Mara Schiavocampo, who is a friend and former colleague at ABC, that she has a [non-disclosure agreement] in place and can’t talk about her experiences at ABC, tells me that systemic racism touches everything and everyone in our society, regardless of social stature. No one is immune.”

All of “The View” co-hosts offered words of support for Hostin today, with Meghan McCain saying, “When you attack one of us, you’re attacking all of us.”

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg said, “I know Barbara Fedida, and I don’t think she’s a racist, everything I know about her doesn’t say that she has this in her, but I will say that one of the things that everyone should always say and I say it all the time is let’s find out, because if it’s true, she’s gone…All you racists out there, we know you, we know you, and if you turn out to be in the walls of the building, we’re tearing the building down.”
In a statement she gave to HuffPost through her lawyer, Fedida said, “I am proud of my decades of work of hiring, supporting and promoting talented journalists of color. And, unlike these heartbreaking and incredibly misleading claims about me, that track record is well-documented and undeniable.”

In an email obtained by Deadline, Peter Rice, the chairman of Walt Disney Television and co-chairman of Disney Media Networks, wrote that the reporting “raised a number of deeply disturbing allegations that are in direct conflict with the values of our news division. We are committed to a work environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, and the leadership of the Company takes these allegations very seriously.”

His full memo is below:

Good morning everyone,

This weekend’s press reports about Barbara Fedida raised a number of deeply disturbing allegations that are in direct conflict with the values of our news division. We are committed to a work environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, and the leadership of the Company takes these allegations very seriously. Due to the gravity of the issues raised, we have launched an immediate investigation that will be personally overseen by Disney’s general counsel. In the meantime, Barbara has been put on administrative leave.

ABC News must be a place where all employees can thrive in a diverse and inclusive environment. Everyone has the right to feel fully respected and supported at work – with the opportunity to be heard and to contribute in meaningful ways. You can be assured that once this investigation is concluded, we will take whatever actions are necessary.

I want to assure you that we are taking these allegations to heart, and I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during the investigation period. These are incredibly challenging times with so much news breaking across the country and I continue to be amazed by the incredible job you are all doing. Thank you all for your extraordinary commitment, integrity and perseverance.

Lance Bass Cut Ties With 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Jax Taylor Amid Racism Accusations!
Lance Bass has decided to end business ties with “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor amid his racism scandal.
On today’s episode of “The Daily Popcast With Lance Bass", the topic of Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute being fired from “Vanderpump Rules” along with Faith Stowers accusing Jax and his wife Brittany Cartwright of past racism.

Lance, with his cohosts, discussed cast members like Stassi and Kristen putting the lives of people like Faith in danger with their reckless behavior. Faith accused the two of calling the police on her to falsely accuse her of a robbery.
During the episode, Lance agrees that Jax is one of the most ignorant people on the show. The comment is interesting because Lance is close with Jax and even officiated Jax’s wedding to Brittany.

Lance spoke about Jax’s ignorant comments saying, “he doesn’t get it. He doesn’t care.” The group brought up Jax’s comments on “90 Day Fiancé” star Ashley Smith’s husband Jay (who is black.) A couple of years ago, Jax wrote underneath Ashley’s photo, “wow. Your boyfriend’s nose is as big as his head.”
Lance said he spoke to Jax this week after the past comment about Ashley’s husband. Lance says Jax told him, “I don’t understand this big nose thing. He had a big nose. Jewish people have big noses too.” His cohosts explained the problems with depicting stereotypes of minorities. They said there was no excuse for Jax’s behavior.
“I do not see Bravo keeping him. This will keeping getting bigger and bigger,” Lance added. He agreed his behavior is going to cost him a lot of opportunities.

Back in May, Lance announced a handcrafted premium mixers company named Just Add X. Jax was his partner on the venture. On the podcast, he said Jax is “stepping down” from the company. Lance said there was no other choice because he can’t be involved or associated with that type of behavior.

As previously reported, earlier this month, Bravo fired Stassi and Kristen after Faith Stowers spoke out about the treatment she received while shooting “Vanderpump Rules.”

Donald Trump’s Niece To Expose Tax Fraud & Family Secrets In Upcoming Tell-All!
Mary Trump, the niece of Donald Trump, is gearing up to release her highly anticipated salacious tell-all this summer that will expose the secrets of the current president. Mary is the daughter of Trump’s deceased brother, Fred Trump Jr., and the eldest grandchild of Fred Trump Sr.

The explosive book titled, “Too Much And Never Enough” is the first from a Trump relative and will be available on July 28th, Simon & Schuster confirmed Monday. The book comes at a critical time, as it will arrive just weeks before the Republican National Convention.
According to sources close to the release, the book will detail the role that Mary played in assisting The New York Times with printing revelations about her uncle’s taxes. The 55-year-old served as the NYT’s primary source for the Pulitzer Prize-winning investigation. She was able to provide the publication with Fred Trump Sr.’s tax returns and other confidential family financial documentation.

This will be the first time that Mary has spoken out regarding her famous family in two decades, choosing to keep a low profile over the years. However, in 2000, it was apparent that there was bad blood amongst them when she decided to speak with the New York Daily News in regards to the tensions mounting over her grandfather Fred Trump Sr.’s will. Trump took action against Mary and her brother Fred by cutting off financial and medical support to his sick child.
“Given this family, it would be utterly naive to say it has nothing to do with money. But for both me and my brother, it has much more to do with that our father [Fred Jr.] be recognized,” she said at the time. “My aunt and uncles should be ashamed of themselves,” she said further along in that rare interview.

While the majority of the details are being kept under wraps until the release date, The Daily Beast was able to confirm that Mary will also include private conversations with Trump’s sister, retired federal judge Maryanne Trump Barry, which will document her ill-thoughts regarding her brother.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Mary’s father, Fred Trump Jr., passed away in 1981 at age 42 from a heart attack partly due to complications from his alcoholism.
