Nathalie Emmanuel Star of “Game of Thrones” and “Fast & Furious” is on the cover of Shape Magazine!
Nathalie Emmanuel has a golden outlook on life. While her return to the big screen in the ninth installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise has been put on hold, Shape’s May cover star reveals how she’s mastered the jet-set life at her own speed.
Here are some excerpts from the interview!
On her transportation confession: “I actually can’t legally drive. That makes me laugh out loud, considering I’ve done three movies about car racing. I mean, Dame Helen Mirren [her “F9” co-star] takes the Tube. If she can, so can we all.”
On the truth behind being an introvert: “People often think that if you’re introverted, it means that you don’t like people, you don’t like being sociable, you’re shy and not very confident. But that’s just not true. It’s about how you recharge and comeback to yourself and what you need to do that.”
On when it all gets to be too much: “For a number of years, I would get really worked up or emotional or find myself exhausted. Now, instead of consuming myself with all the things I’ve got to do, I compartmentalize the day into what I have to do next. OK, I have to get showered. Done that, now what?” “You can get so caught up in all the worry. But actually, there are all these great things to be excited and positive about—you just have to remind yourself of that.”
On creating confidence: “I need confidence to do my job. For me, that comes from having the right conversations with myself before the day starts and then throughout the day, too.” “When I need to generate confidence, I just remind myself that I’ve worked hard to get here and be here.”

#MusicNews: Eric Roberson Releases New Album “Hear From Here”!
In a release that comes as a bit of a surprise, veteran Eric Roberson shares the new album “Hear From Here”.
He added about the inspiration behind releasing this album: I have learned from past experiences to trust the process and look for the purpose. I found it in this album, Hear From Here; 10 songs I heard when the world was quiet.
Roberson explains further on his Instagram account how this album all came together:
Album is officially out. About 4 weeks ago I started recording. I wasn’t making an album. But I began sharing publicly, what I’ve been sharing privately with my process group. As the pandemic hit, I hid deeper into my creativity and shared more. The more I shared, the more I noticed it was helping people cope. My first art is the art of listening. I heard songs and melodies. But more importantly I heard you. Thank you for putting a purpose behind my process. Love erro.

#HipHopNews: Lil Wayne Teases “Something Special” Coming Real Soon!
Lil Wayne has something up his sleeve, which could be revealed to the world in the near future.
On Friday (April 3), Tunechi hopped on Instagram to tease fans with a new announcement. Weezy kept his message short and sweet.
"Got somethin special komin real soon!" he captioned two photos of himself sitting on a couch rocking Ugg boots. "Yall stay safe and healthy out there !! - Socially distant Tune," he added.
With little details to go on, fans began to speculate in the comment section what the "something special" could be. Some thought Tha Carter 6 is on the way while others think a new mixtape is more probable.
A couple weeks ago, 2 Chainz announced the sequel to his ColleGrove joint album with Wayne would be dropping this year.
Last month, Juelz Santana's manager, Twin, announced Juelz and Wayne would finally be dropping their long-awaited I Can't Feel My Face joint project this year. The project was first announced over a decade ago, but never materialized.
“We do have a whole 25 songs that we are about to go through and pick through, we already spoke to Wayne," Twin said. "Him, [Cortez Bryant] and everybody’s on board. So we are gonna put that out within the next six months.”
Wayne already put out a full-length album this year in The Funeral, which dropped back in January. The 24-song release featured guest appearances from XXXTentacion, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, The-Dream and more, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's charting tracks helped push Wayne in front of Elvis Presley on the list of most top 40 Billboard hits.
#COVID19 The U.K.’s Boris Johnson Remains In Charge Despite Hospitalization!
LONDON — Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson remains in charge of the government despite being hospitalized in what his office described as a “precautionary step” after contracting the new coronavirus.
Housing and Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick told the BBC that Johnson is awaiting the results of tests after spending the night in an undisclosed hospital.
“I’m sure this is very frustrating for him, for somebody like Boris who wants to be hands running the government from the front, but nonetheless he’s still very much in charge of the government.”
Jenrick did not rule out a more prolonged stay, and noted that Johnson had been working “phenomenally hard” in this “uniquely intense period.”
“It’s worth underlining that going to hospital was a precautionary step. He’s undergoing some routine tests on the advice of his doctors,” Jenrick said. “This isn’t an emergency admission, and so I certainly expect that he will be back at Number 10 shortly.”
The 55-year-old leader had been quarantined in his Downing Street residence since being diagnosed with covid-19 on March 26 — the first known head of government to fall ill with the virus.
He has continued to preside at daily meetings on the outbreak and has released several video messages during his 10 days in isolation.
His admission to the hospital came as Queen Elizabeth II’s broadcast message of hope was airing to the nation, urging the public to express resolve and follow advice to stay inside. The admission will mean that doctors will have direct access to him.
Concerns had been growing about Johnson’s welfare ever since he posted a message Friday saying that he was feeling better, though was still feverish.
The virus causes mild to moderate symptoms in most people, but for some, especially older adults and the infirm, it can cause pneumonia and lead to death.

Janet Jackson is one of the many celebrities who have taken to social media to support the “Stay Home” message during the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, her post didn’t go over so well with some fans. On Saturday (April 4th), the 53-year-old singer shared a meme of Nelson Mandela standing inside a prison cell. The meme stated the following,
‘In isolation for 27 years. No family, luxuries, phone. Just hope and a vision. We can do this..’
Janet Jackson captioned the picture with #StayHome.”
The post received mixed reactions.
Nelson Mandela was sentenced to prison for 27 years for attempting to overthrow South Africa’s Apartheid law. Apartheid was a political and social system of segregation and discrimination against ones race.
Janet Jackson later deleted the post.

Erykah Badu Is Charging $2 For Home Concert!
Erykah Badu is finally getting to play her dream stage while under quarantine at her home in Dallas, Texas. She kicked off her “Quarantine Concert Series: Apocalypse One” two weeks ago, charging fans $1 per ticket to watch her and her band perform songs from her bedroom.
“I’m the laziest artist in the world. My dream was always to perform from my bed and guess what? It came through!” she quipped in an interview with Page Six.
Badu returns on Sunday with “Apocalypse Two: The Rooms,” where virtual concertgoers can pay $2 to stream Badu and the band performing from multiple rooms inside her home.
As for those who may question the fee, Badu said, “I’d say to them, ‘Did you ask iTunes when you bought music?’ No, you didn’t. You bought the music, and you enjoyed it, but I’m not just giving you a track. I’m giving you a show with the integrity of my live show… And, I would say, ‘Thank you very much, because.’ There’s also a donate button, so if you have more than a dollar, then we’ll take that too because it feeds a community of artists.”
The “Next Lifetime” singer, 49, conceptualized the series after learning her shows were canceled indefinitely on March 13.
“I perform eight months out of the year. It’s my main source of income and there’s a whole universe of people that is supported from the tour… This is the only thing that truly supports the lifestyle,” she said.
Badu and her band have been taking the recommended safety precautions by wearing masks, gloves and washing their hands.
“All of our hands are three shades lighter than our arms,” she joked.
The concert can be streamed on baduworldmarket.com. Badu said the series is “just the first of many large dream series.”
“The experience has really been that we can, as artists, musicians use our own platforms to make our own money and not owe a middle man. It erases that imaginary line between us and our audience… I just created a new way, a new revenue, not just for myself but for anyone who watches — every artist who watches,” she concluded.
Jordan Peele-Produced ‘Candyman’ Heads To A Fall Opening!
More betting by the major studios that moviegoing occurs later this season in the coronavirus climate, than earlier this summer as Universal/MGM’s Candyman reboot moves from June 12 to Sept. 25.
In the wake of Paramount, Warner Bros. and Sony shifting their movies out of the earlier part of summer as questions hang over when exhibition will re-open and COVID-19 calms, Universal, remained left standing with one of the earlier franchise titles in the summer, after Wonder Woman 1984 headed to Aug. 14.
Universal dropped a trailer back in February for the re-imagining of the 1990s horror franchise about a murderous soul with a hook for a hand, who is accidentally summoned to reality when people say his name five times in the mirror. Pic is billed as a spiritual sequel to the 1992 original but is set in a now-gentrified Chicago neighborhood where the legend began.
Candyman stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Us), Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits) and Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead). Nia DaCosta directs. Peele, DaCosta, and Win Rosenfield wrote, with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions producing with Bron Creative.
Uni also announced today that Will Packer produced musical romance feature Praise This is currently unset with Candyman now on that pic’s original Sept. 25 date.
Bronx Zoo Says Tiger Did Not Get Human Coronavirus Test!
The coronavirus test administered to the Bronx Zoo tiger that tested positive for the illness is different from ones given to humans, according to the zoo’s chief veterinarian.
“The COVID-19 testing that was performed on our Malayan tiger Nadia was performed in a veterinary school laboratory and is not the same test as is used for people,” Dr. Paul Calle said in a statement tweeted Sunday night.
“You cannot send human samples to the veterinary laboratory, and you cannot send animal tests to the human laboratories, so there is no competition for testing between these very different situations.”
After the Wildlife Conservation Society revealed Nadia’s diagnosis on Sunday, many people on social media, including city politicians, expressed frustration that an animal had testing access while many humans haven’t been so fortunate.

“A tiger at the Bronx Zoo has more access to testing than the people of the South Bronx, where the risk of dying from COVID-19 is twice as high as the rest of the City,” City Councilman Ritchie Torres tweeted.
Nadia, and five other big cats that developed a dry cough, are expected to recover, the WCS said.
None of the other cats at the zoo, which includes leopards, cheetahs, and pumas, have shown symptoms, the society said.
Zoo officials said they hope Nadia’s diagnosis “will ensure any knowledge we gain about COVID-19 will contribute to the world’s continuing understanding of this novel coronavirus.”
The zoo has been closed since March 16 due to the spread of the virus.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, animals can become infected by the coronavirus, but scientists don’t believe they can spread the bug to humans.
'How To Get Away With Murder' Star Viola Davis Says Series 'Ends Perfectly' #HTGAWM
Viola Davis has shared her feelings about the final episodes of ABC hit series How To Get Away With Murder.
In a recent interview with Variety, the actress told the publication that while fans may not get a “happy ending,” it will be a “great ending.”
“I don’t know if I’m into happy endings, I’m into great endings,” Davis said. “I think happy endings sometimes can be a manipulation to give the audience what they want, but in a way that’s pat; in a way that maybe is not a realistic trajectory for the character. But I think this is gonna end exactly the way it should. You know what? It ends perfectly. With all of it, it makes absolute sense.”
The series returned earlier this week after a four-month hiatus, with only five episodes left in its sixth and final season.
Davis told Variety that the show’s final episodes were like a “love letter” to the series.
“What a magnificent job they’ve done with the last episodes. It’s like [creator Pete Nowalk] took all of these fireworks and put them in a box and said, ‘What would happen if we blow them all up at the same time?’ And that’s what he did. He blew them up.
Lil Nas X talks turning down Pete Buttigieg's campaign, and coming out as gay: 'I planned to die with the secret'!
Sunday marks a year since Lil Nas X released the remix — featuring guest vocals from country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus — for his genre-blurring song “Old Town Road,” which went on to break Billboard charts. The 20-year-old is marking the anniversary with a revealing new interview with British newspaper the Guardian, in which he opens up about his sexuality.
Born Montero Lamar Hill but known to friends as Nas, the Grammy winner says he hid his sexuality, keeping his now-decadent wardrobe subdued and “acting really hard” on early rap tracks.
“The honest truth is, I planned to die with the secret,” says the rapper, who eventually confirmed that he is gay in a tweet last summer. Ever since, he’s leaned into his burgeoning status as an LGBTQ icon by hitting the red carpet in elaborate Technicolor fashions, but admits he has reservations about appearing to pressure young fans.
“I 100 percent want to represent the LGBT community,” he says, adding, “I don’t want to encourage them to do something they don’t 100 percent want to do. Especially in, like, middle school or high school. Because it’s just super-hard.
“It’s easier for me,” he continues. “I’m not depending on anybody. There’s no one who’s going to kick me out of the house — nobody to start treating me s****y.”
Though he doesn’t speak to his mother, he says he is out to his family, though not necessarily open.
“My family knows now,” he tells the newspaper. “But it’s not something that’s ever brought up or we speak about. We’re quiet on it. Nobody’s like, ‘Oh, you got a boyfriend?’
“It would have to be something I grew used to hearing,” he says when asked if he wishes his family were more invested in his love life. “I don’t want it to be something we never talk about. Because what about the kids in my family? I would like it to be a healthy medium between, ‘Who are you f***ing?’ and just not saying anything.”
The Georgia native also addresses his decision to decline a request to publicly endorse Mayor Pete Buttigieg in the presidential race; the openly gay politician has since dropped out.
“I’m not too into politics,” he says. “I don’t know his political history or motives. The only thing I know … Wasn’t he from the Democratic Party? ... All I know is he’s from the Democratic Party and he’s gay. So it’s like … I don’t want to base my support off, ‘Oh, you’re gay, I’m going to support you.’
“Yeah, you’re gay,” he continues. “But I don’t know everything you’re planning when you’re running the entire country.”
He adds that while “politics gets me very upset” and he is hesitant to endorse someone “because I don’t know what else they’re doing, or what they’re going to do,” he does plan to take part in the 2020 election.
“Of course I’m going to vote,” he says, though he has not yet registered to do so, according to the article. “I encourage my fans to vote.”

Oil Prices Are At An 18-Year Low During Coronavirus Pandemic!
With most of the world shut down and staying inside, the average price of gas is low nationwide.
Less cars on the road and businesses closed means the demand for oil is down, which brings gas prices down.
Also affecting oil prices is a feud between Russia and Saudi Arabia over oil production levels. Each nation is blaming the other for the drop.
President Donald Trump is now pushing for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, led by Saudi Arabia, to find a way to stabilize oil markets around the world. The organization is working on a deal to cut oil production by 10% and hopes the U.S. will sign on.
“The first problem is that we have to cut from the current production level now, not to go back to the one before the crisis,” a source at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries told Reuters. “The second issue is the Americans, they have to play a part.”
