#HipHopNews: Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake Album Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200 Chart!
Lil Uzi Vert's Eternal Atake was highly anticipated and highly sought after. The former XXL Freshman now owns the biggest album in the country after his latest release topped the Billboard 200 chart.
On Sunday (March 15), Billboard updated the album chart, which revealed Uzi had moved an impressive 288,000 equivalent album sales. The total includes 9,000 traditional sales. EA's SEA units equate to a staggering 400 million on-demand streams, the most since Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V in 2018.
The long-awaited Eternal Atake features 18 songs with only one guest appearance from Syd. The deluxe, however, is star-studded with features from 21 Savage, Chief Keef, Future, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Young Nudy and more.

The new Uzi project continues to run up the numbers. Last week, Uzi's "Baby Pluto" dethroned Roddy Ricch's "The Box" from the No. 1 spot Spotify's U.S. Top 50 chart after the Compton, Calif. rapper's hit had held down the top spot since Christmas 2019.
Getting Eternal Atake was a very long process that included label beef, multiple pump fakes and several leaks. At one point, it even seemed like the album would be scrapped altogether.

Other hip-hop artists in the top 10 of this week's Billboard 200 chart included Lil Baby (My Turn, No. 4), Roddy Ricch (Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, No. 6), Post Malone (Hollywood's Bleeding, No. 7) and Megan Thee Stallion (Suga, No. 10).

Bernie also said that “in all likelihood” he too would choose a woman to be his vice president.

Potential women in the running include former Georgia House of Representatives Member Stacey Abrams, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, California Senator Kamala Harris, New Hampshire Junior Senator Jeanne Shaheen, and New Hampshire Junior Senator Maggie Hassan.

The U.S Box Office Slips Amid Coronavirus Concerns!
Concerns over COVID-19 have continued to increase and the effect on the global box office has been felt. This weekend's top ten combined for an estimated $50.35 million, which is the lowest, week eleven combined gross for the top ten since 1995 with all holdovers dropping -60% or more compared to last weekend. With all new wide releases postponed until April 10, things are unlikely to improve.

At the top of the weekend box office is Disney and Pixar's Onward with an estimated $10.5 million, dipping an unheard of -73% compared to opening weekend. The film's domestic cume now stands at $61 million after ten days in release. Internationally, the animated feature added an estimated $6.8 million from 47 markets bringing the international cume to $41.4 million for a worldwide total that now stands at $101.7 million.

Lionsgate's release of I Still Believe debuted in second place, bringing in an estimated $9.5 million. Like all of the weekend's new releases, the film, understandably, fell below expectations, but audiences that turned out liked what they saw. Along with an "A" CinemaScore from opening day audiences, the film received a 99% audience score on RottenTomatoes. The opening weekend audience was 74% female and 73% were over the age of 25 with the studio reporting it played strongest in the South and Midwest.
Despite the challenging environment, Sony's Bloodshot almost managed to meet expectations with an estimated $9.3 million debut and, like I Still Believe, audience impression defied the critical response with the RottenTomatoes audience score coming in at 78% compared to a 31% critical rating. Opening day audiences gave the film a "B" CinemaScore.

Internationally, Bloodshot debuted in 50 markets, debuting at #1 in over half of them. Overall, the film brought in $13 million overseas for an international cume totaling $15.1 million in what Sony refers to as "a challenging environment marked by cinema closures in multiple markets". Major market debuts this weekend included Russia ($2.4m) and Mexico ($1.2m).
Universal and Blumhouse's The Invisible Man landed in third with the best hold among the weekend top ten, dipping -60% for an estimated $5.85 million, pushing the film's domestic cume over $64 million as it kicks off its third week in release. Internationally, the film added $6.2 million, pushing the overseas total over $58 million for a worldwide tally that stands at $122.7 million.

Rounding out the top five is another Universal and Blumhouse feature, the new release The Hunt, which saw its initial release delayed due to controversy surrounding the film's content and two mass shootings in the U.S. last August. The film didn't find any help this weekend, managing just $5.3 million, debuting in 3,028 locations. Opening day audiences gave the film a "C+" CinemaScore to go along with a 65% audience score on RottenTomatoes. Internationally, The Hunt opened in just four markets with the United Kingdom leading the way, finishing in third with an estimated $673k.

Andrew Gillum Seeks ‘Help, Guidance and Enters Rehab’ Following Suspected Crystal Meth Incident!
Former Tallahassee Mayor, Andrew Gillum, is entering rehab for alcohol abuse following an incident at a Miami Beach hotel involving crystal meth.
Gillum released a statement Sunday night that talks about him falling into a deep depression following his race as Governor.

“After a conversation with my family and deep reflection, I have made the decision to seek help, guidance and enter a rehabilitation facility at this time. This has been a wake-up call for me. Since my race for governor ended, I fell into a depression that has led to alcohol abuse. I witnessed my father suffer from alcoholism and I know the damaging effects it can have when untreated. I also know that alcoholism is often a symptom of deeper struggles. I am committed to doing the personal work to heal fully and show up in the world as a more complete person. I now need to firmly focus on myself and my family. I will be stepping down from all public facing roles for the foreseeable future. I want to apologize to my family, friends and the people of Florida who have supported me and put their faith in me over the years. I ask that you respect my and my family’s privacy during this time. Thank you.”

On Friday, Gillum was named in a police report that he was “inebriated” and initially unresponsive in a hotel room where authorities found small bags of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
Police say Gillum and two other men were in the hotel room. One of the men found Gillum and Travis Dyson under the influence of an “unknown substance,” according to Miami CBS Local.

Reports stated that Gillum was in the bathroom vomiting while officials began chest compressions on Dyson and later taken to a local hospital.
After the incident, Gillum released a statement.

“While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines,” Gillum said. “I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused for our movement.”

Brittany Snow Is Married! Star Weds Tyler Stanaland in Malibu!
Congratulations are in order for Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland! PEOPLE confirmed the Pitch Perfect actress, 33, and the realtor, 30, tied the knot in Malibu on Saturday.
The couple celebrated their nuptials with an intimate outdoor ceremony, as first reported by The Knot. The bride, who wore a Jonathan Simkhai gown for her ceremony, and groom exchanged wedding bands by Tacori.

Ahead of the wedding, which was planned with help by Hello Gem Events, Snow told PEOPLE last month that she and Stanaland wanted their ceremony to be “low-key and not stuffy.”
“There’s definitely going to be tacos and other food that we like, the vibe is very comfort food,” Snow said. “Everyone should feel like they just picked this up when they were drunk one night and wanted fried mac and cheese or whatever.”

The star added: “Everybody should have the best time they’ve ever had at this wedding, that’s what we’re trying to make happen.”
While wedding planning can be stressful, Snow and Stanaland — who announced their engagement last February — bonded over arranging the big day.
“What’s been really fun for me is realizing we have so much more in common than I thought we did and every decision being like, ‘Oh, you like this type of bowl, too?’ ” Snow said. “I didn’t think that we would have the same taste in cutlery, but the vibe you’re creating [at a wedding] is a symbol of your relationship.”

Snow and Stanaland met in a very relatable way: through mutual friends and social media.
“We had a bunch of friends in common, and he actually reached out to me on Instagram with a really lame pickup line,” she said.
Clearly, it worked. The pair went on their first date to a Mexican restaurant in California soon after.

“We got tacos after years of being infatuated with one another and forgot how to speak entirely,” Stanaland recalled. “There was a certain amount of tequila consumed, and then we just started talking a lot. Then we fell in love and nothing’s really changed, we’re still eating tacos and margaritas together.”
In February, Snow celebrated her engagement to Stanaland with an epic bachelorette party.

The actress was joined by a crew of her close friends, including Pitch Perfect costars Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp and Chrissie Fit, who all shared sweet moments from the special weekend with the hashtag “#snowonebutyou.”
“She’s getting married!!! And we love seeing the world through gold colored glasses 🤓 #snowonebutyou,” Camp wrote alongside a selfie of her and Snow rocking sunhats and yellow-tinted sunglasses.

As seen on Camp’s Instagram Stories, the celebrations seemed to coincide with Stanaland’s bachelor party, with the two groups coming together for some joint festivities. In one photo, the Perfect Harmony star caught the couple sharing a romantic kiss while the groups partied the night away.

Common Says He Has No Problem Being Viewed as a Sex Symbol!
Common says if women want to focus on his looks instead of his philanthropy or community work, he has no problem with it.
It was something he said in late February at the Lena Horne Prize for Artists Creating Social Impact event in New York City.

“Nah, shoot. If a lady wants to focus on something else, that’s cool too. I’m grateful,” he told Page Six while at the event. “I think being conscious and being a philanthropist does not fault you from being a human being and having sexuality and having fun, so I don’t box myself in.”
Common will turn 48 years old on March 13, and he’s never been married. So far he’s dated women like Cree Summers, Taraji P. Henson, Serena Williams, Erykah Badu and most recently Angela Rye.

In fact, he and Rye dated, broke up, reunited, then split again, which Rye said had to do with one of them wanting children and the other feeling differently about it.
“We just want different things,” she said in December on her “On One with Angela Rye” podcast. “We had been talking for about two months about let’s see where things go, because I’m leaning towards ‘I want kids’ and he was leaning towards ‘I don’t know.'”
Common has also opened up about his relationships in the past, like in his 2019 memoir “Let Love Have The Last Word.”

In it, he admitted to being addicted to falling in love but losing interest in the relationships when things got difficult.
“The pattern I found myself in — and my therapist broke it down — was the feeling of being in love and that honeymoon period,” he said on “The Breakfast Club” in May of last year. “I was addicted to that feeling. When that feeling would go away, and the real part of relationships came, I wasn’t ready to do the work..

The daughter of famed hip-hop pioneer Eric B. was hospitalized after a serious car crash in Connecticut on Sunday.

Naomi Campbell Braved The Outdoors Amid Coronavirus Outbreak!
Naomi Campbell is using her time off from work, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, to reflect on her normally non-stop schedule.
Over the weekend, the supermodel trekked outside with her family in New York City. She looked stunning in a full-body tracksuit with safety gloves on.

The icon reflected on the day writing, “Sunday Mood: Today I spent several hours with my god son, just walking on the pier. I can’t remember the last time I stood outside in New York City without thinking about where I needed to be in the next 30 minutes. But today was serene, and clear without a plane in the sky, you can breathe and feel the air difference. With challenges we are going through now it’s seems like Mother Nature is waking up in a positive way again, and today, we thought about nothing but the present on that pier.

Campbell says realizing she needed to take time off from her uber busy schedule gave her anxiety. She wrote, “Last week when my mind first registered the fact that I would need to remain in one place, in one city, without movement, travel, stimulus or much human interaction, I cannot lie it made me nervous and anxious. I’m learning what it means to put my busy or complicated life on hold and just be still for a while, in one place, with hyper awareness of the people and spaces directly around me and the moment to moment actions I am making.”

During the self-imposed quarantine Campbell says, “I am finding my own world somewhat unfamiliar. During the past few days I’ve spent much time at home isolated with loved ones. I’ve cooked, cleaned, caught up with people over the phone, grocery shopped, online read, slept, listened to music and walked to the piers for fresh air. And day by day I’m reminded of all these simple things, the simple pleasures in my life that make happiness. We must learn to educate our hearts and minds to create value in every moment.”
Following the news of the Coronavirus, the model shared photos of her extra-safe airplane attire which resembled a hazmat suit. She captioned the post, “Safety First NEXT LEVEL”
She had this message for the world, “Hope you’re all staying strong, united and positive as much as you can out there. Hold on, we will get through this. With love, Naomi 🙏🏾

Tennessee Man Has Nearly 18,000 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer and Nowhere to Sell Them!
After the first coronavirus death was reported in the United States on March 1st, brothers Matt and Noah Colvin said they drove around Tennessee and Kentucky and bought up all of the hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes they could find with the sole intent of reselling them at a profit as the public started to panic over the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The brothers cleaned out a number small shops and dollar stores, as well as Walmart, Staples and Home Depot in Chattanooga before Noah took a solo trip to Kentucky, where he filled a U-Haul truck with the aforementioned supplies, mostly from “little hole-in-the-wall dollar stores in the backwoods,” his brother said. “The major metro areas were cleaned out.”
Matt stayed home in Tennessee, where he prepared for pallets of even more wipes and sanitizer he’d ordered, and started listing the products on Amazon at a “substantial” markup. He posted
“It was crazy money,” Matt Colvin told the New York Times, revealing that he posted 300 bottles of hand sanitizer and sold them for between $8 and $70 each, multiples higher than what he’d paid for them. He also sold 2,000 50-packs of face masks on eBay for $40 to $50, sometimes more.

Within 24 hours, Amazon pulled his items and thousands of others listings for hand sanitizers, face masks and wipes in an effort to combat price gouging, the Times noted, adding that the company also suspended some of the sellers behind the listings and warned many others that if they continued running up prices, they would risk permanently losing their accounts.
eBay followed suit soon after with even stricter measures, going as far as banning all U.S. sales of face masks and hand sanitizer on its platform.

So now the Colvin brothers have 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizer sitting in a garage with nowhere to sell them, even as millions of Americans search in vain for such products to protect themselves from the spread of the Coronavirus.
“It’s been a huge amount of whiplash,” Colvin said. “From being in a situation where what I’ve got coming and going could potentially put my family in a really good place financially to ‘What the heck am I going to do with all of this?'”
Colvin told the Times he’ll likely sell what’s left of his stockpile locally, but he doesn’t want to become infamous for hoarding.

“If I can make a slight profit, that’s fine,” he said. “But I’m not looking to be in a situation where I make the front page of the news for being that guy who hoarded 20,000 bottles of sanitizer that I’m selling for 20 times what they cost me.”
Colvin defended his actions, saying he was simply pointing out and fixing “inefficiencies in the marketplace.”
He basically said he felt like he was doing the right thing because hoarding hand sanitizer, wipes and masks for profit allowed him to send them to areas of the country where it’s harder to get them … obviously without considering the fact that people like him are the reason why it’s hard for people to get those products.

“There’s a crushing, overwhelming demand in certain cities right now,” he explained. “The Dollar General in the middle of nowhere outside of Lexington, Kentucky doesn’t have that.”
He added: “I honestly feel like it’s a public service. I’m being paid for my public service.”
Now people on Twitter are calling the Colvin brothers out for preying on vulnerable people for profit amid an outbreak that has so far sickened more than 3,000 Americans as of Sunday (Mar. 15) and killed 62 and counting. For now, Virginia remains the only state without any confirmed cases.

“Amazon” and “eBay” were trending this weekend as people praised the company for cracking down profiteering. Others complained that the platforms haven’t done the same to fight price gouging for medical supplies like insulin and EpiPen injections.

AND FINALLY FROM “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
‘OVERLY PREPARED’
Hazmat suit or not, Walmart is the last place I’m going if I’m trying to avoid Coronavirus. How many times did I warn all you Outbreak was going to happen? Hate being right.

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!
