Jodie Turner-Smith is "obsessed" with Joshua Jackson.
The 'Queen & Slim' star is believed have tied the knot with the 41-year-old actor as well as having a baby on the way, and she has now admitted the pair are very much in love.
She said: "We are obsessed with each other. [I recently] went back and rewatched a lot of his movies. I do it whenever we're apart because I miss him so much. He loves that I am obsessed with him."
Jodie and Joshua are yet to confirm reports of their marriage, and the 33-year-old actress says she wants to let people "assume whatever they want".
When asked about marriage speculation, she said: "I haven't said to anybody, 'Yeah, we got married'. People are assuming whatever they want, but when people tell me 'Congratulations', I say 'Thank you'."
However, the star admits her reluctance to open up about her rumoured marriage comes as she has received backlash for "possibly marrying a white man".
She explained: "There was this wave of people who were upset that I was possibly married to a white man. In America interracial dating or marriage is not something that is as accepted. Certain people feel strongly against it, in both communities. I felt it from the black community. It is so complicated. I don't want to give it too much energy. The horrific things that people were saying, it makes you ... I'm learning there are certain things I have to really keep for myself."
Jodie has also remained coy about her reported pregnancy, but says she doesn't want to raise her future children in America because of the "overt" racism in the country, and is considering moving to Canada instead.
In an interview with The Sunday Times newspaper's Style magazine, she said: "The racial dynamics over here are fraught. White supremacy is overt. It's the reason I don't want to raise my kids here. I don't want my kids to grow up doing active shooter drills at school.
"England has gone off the rails, so I was thinking maybe Canada."
#RHOA: #TWIRL OOOPS! Kenya Moore Exposes NeNe Leakes Blocked her on Instagram!
The drama has gotten real ever since Kenya Moore stepped back into the limelight on Bravo’s reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While some were excited to see her leave, there was one cast member that may have been ecstatic; NeNe Leakes. There’s always been a rift between Moore and the 52 year-old. Leakes has always felt like Kenya came on the show, trying to take her seat at the throne, although she’s been on the show since episode one.
Well, despite Kenya taking time off from filming, the ladies are still at odds when the actress arrived back to the show to film season 12 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore has gone as far as making petty comments on her co-stars appearance, tweeting during an episode, “Does she own a mirror? On her 6th nose job always coming for the pretty girls on the show.” Kenya expressed her disdain with Leakes most recently while celebrating her 49th birthday on January 24th.
While reminiscing over a past birthday party she celebrated with the cast, the reality star let her followers know she couldn’t tag everyone in the photo. Her caption read: “#FBF who remembers the #ForeverRelevant ball? #RHOA couldn’t tag “everyone” bc it’s blocked. No shade.” Of course when who Kenya meant by “everyone” was obviously Nene because she was the only one not tagged. Surprisingly, even former housewife, Phaedra Parks was tagged. If you’re a fan of the show, then you know these ladies kept drama brewing between them.
Luckily, growth is a beautiful thing. Leakes has yet to reply to Kenya’s shade. And, to be honest, there’s a possibility that she won’t, after recently having to do damage control after her friend, Wendy Williams, announced on her show that Nene confided in her that she’s quitting the show. After Williams exposed Nene, the reality star wrote a passive tweet saying, “Private conversations should be left in private! What are girlfriends for if you can’t vent to them on those types of days”
Although I totally agree with Nene, maybe she shouldn’t want to vent to a friend whose job is discuss celebrities because no one is off limits. Do you see Kenya and Nene patching up their issues? Despite the shade between these two, Moore is still a favorite on the show, recently celebrating her 49th birthday with cast members, Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss in Los Angeles on January 24th. At least there’s no drama between them; at least not right now. The season isn’t finished yet. The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres Sundays on Bravo.
#Empire: 50 Cent Responds to Taraji P. Henson's Claim That He Wants to Tear Her Down!
50 Cent has revisited some bad blood and this time it is not with Ja-Rule, surprisingly. The rapper made some comments regarding empire actress Taraji P Henson‘s interview on Tip’s podcast, expediTIously. It’s no secret that 50 and Henson have had a simmering beef brewing for some time now stemming from the fact that both are tied to two different popular tv shows.
“Our show has nothing to do with his show,” Taraji told TI when asked about her beef with 50. “We’re talking two different subject matters. Then again 50, do you know what the f*ck I had to do to get here? Why tear down another black person? For competition? There are a million other shows you can compete with. To do that publicly? It’s embarrassing.”
On SaturdayThe hit TV show power executive talk to Instagram where heoffered up a not-so-sincere apology.
“I saw @tarajiphenson on @troubleman31 podcast, this is my sincere apology I did not mean to hurt your feelings in anyway,” he captioned a photo of himself. “I love your work and I think you are amazing. I’m sorry no one is watching your show anymore. I realize I have to work on the fact that I have less empathy then others.”
He followed up by attempting to “offer” Taraji a spot working with him.
“I have met with the top executives at Fox and sold them (The Notorious Cop) it’s the show that is replacing yours but I really want to work with you. I mean your awesome we would work well together but if you don’t like the idea I understand. if you don’t roll with me, your gonna get rolled the fuck over.”

#HipHopNews: Meek Mill And Roddy Ricch Honor Nipsey Hussle On ‘Letter To Nipsey’!
Fresh off their Grammy performance, Meek Mill and Roddy Ricch pen a tribute to Nipsey Hussle on “Letter to Nipsey,” where they reflect on the loss and legacy of the late great rapper.
“When we lost you, it really put some pain on me,” raps Meek. “Got me scared to go outside without that flame on me / And when them ni**as went against me, you ain’t change on me.”
He adds, “You made me cry, ni**a and I ain’t cry ni**a / You the first one that made me feel that I could die, ni**a / ‘Cause real ni**as never die, you know the vibes, ni**a.”
Roddy recalls where he was when he heard of Nipsey’s passing. “I was in Miami when I lost you / I ain’t talk about it / Remember I balled out in tears when I saw your body,” he raps.
All proceeds from sales and streams of “Letter to Nipsey” will benefit Nipsey’s family.

Meek and Roddy debuted their collaboration earlier tonight during a star-studded tribute to Nip at the Grammys, which also featured DJ Khaled, YG, John Legend, and Kirk Franklin.
Roddy and Nipsey also won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for “Racks in the Middle.” Meek lost Best Rap Album to Tyler, The Creator, but he was a good sport about it. “Congrats Tyler the only artist that can scream louder than meee!!!” he tweeted.

MSNBC Anchor Alison Morris Denies Saying Slur During Kobe Bryant Clip!
MSNBC anchor Alison Morris denied saying a slur when broadcasting the news of basketball legend Kobe Bryant’s shocking death on Sunday.
The former Los Angeles Laker died in a private helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, was among those confirmed dead.
Morris was talking about Bryant’s death when some thought they heard her say “n****rs” in a now-viral clip.

She denied using the slur in a tweet Sunday evening.
“Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers,’” Morris tweeted.
“Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused,” she continued.
As news of Bryant’s death spread around the world, countless tributes from friends, fans, former coaches and former teammates poured in.

Crazy as it sounds, 74-year-old Dolly Parton actually started the viral meme trend. She shared her four profile pictures and wrote, "Get you a woman who can do it all π."

Season 12 Cast of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Announced!
RuPaul’s Drag Race is back again for its twelfth season with thirteen new queens to compete for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar, and the winner could be a rural Georgia queen.
As per past seasons, the queens were announced with a promotional photo shoot and video—all dressed to the nines in their best patriotic looks and “pledging allegiance to the drag,” (a nod towards this year’s presidential election).
Aiden Zhane is one of the newest Rugirls. This spooky and kooky queen hails from Acworth, Georgia, and finds her drag inspiration from horror films, Marilyn Manson, and just plain weirdness.
“Speechless at this very moment and surprised my phone hasn’t physically exploded from all the love,” she wrote of the news on Instagram.

Michelle Obama can now add Grammy winner to her list of significant accomplishments, including her successes as a lawyer, initiatives as first lady, and her enviable arms (who doesn’t want Michelle Obama arms, really?). She took home the trophy for her audiobook recording of her memoir Becoming in the Best Spoken Word Album category on Sunday. Unfortunately, she wasn’t in attendance to collect her award, but presenter Esperanza Spalding (who beat out Justin Bieber and Drake for Best New Artist in 2011 and later collected a 2020 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album) said, “I will gladly accept on her behalf.”
It’s already shaping up to be quite a year for the Obama family, between Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s shout-out to Barack during the Golden Globes and now this victory for Michelle.
It’s not unusual for political figures to win in this category — the likes of Hillary Clinton, Jon Stewart, Jimmy Carter, and even Martin Luther King Jr. have won Grammys for their own audiobooks. After releasing Becoming in November 2018, Obama toured the United States to sold-out crowds at events the size of concert venues. It sold more copies than any other book published in the United States in 2018, breaking that year’s record previously held by Bob Woodward’s Fear: Trump in the White House in only 15 days.
Becoming traces Michelle Obama’s life from her early years on the South Side of Chicago to her academic and professional careers, her marriage to Barack, and the 2008 presidential campaign and election night that resulted in her husband being elected the 44th president of the United States.

#BoxOfficeNews: 'Bad Boys for Life' Stays No. 1 With Big $34M!
Will Smith's Bad Boys for Life rocked the box office in its second weekend, grossing $34 million to finish Sunday with a domestic total of $120.6 million and helping to boost January revenue overall.
Worldwide, the pic zipped past the $200 million mark after earning another $42 million overseas from 58 markets for a foreign total of $95 million and $215.6 million globally.
The third installment in Smith and Martin Lawrence's action-comedy franchise has continued to exceed expectations since its launch 10 days ago, considering it had been 17 years since the last installment in the Sony series played on the big screen.
Sam Mendes' best picture Oscar contender 1917 also marched past the $100 million mark domestically — as well as $200 million globally — after grossing another $15.8 million in North America in its third weekend in wide release. The World War I epic collected more awards Saturday night upon earning top honors from the Directors Guild of America and the American Society of Cinematographers.
Both Bad Boys 3 and 1917 are contributing to a gain of more than 12 percent in January box office revenue year-to-date.
And 1917, from Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and Universal, is a much-needed balm for Universal in the wake of the misfire Cats and now Robert Downey Jr.'s family pic Dolittle.
Coming in third in its second outing, Dolittle grossed $12.5 million for an anemic domestic cume of $44.7 million. Internationally, the event pic took in $13.2 million from 55 markets for an offshore tally of $46.4 million and an anemic $91.1 million globally against a net budget of $175 million before marketing.
Among new movies, Guy Ritchie's star-studded crime caper The Gentlemen landed in fourth place with $11 million. The pic came in on the high end of expectations, despite having to compete with Bad Boys 3 for male moviegoers.
The Gentlemen stars Matthews McConaughey as an American expat living in London who wants to sell off his cannabis empire. The pic's ensemble is rounded out by Charlie Hunnam, Hugh Grant, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong and Colin Farrell. Overseas, the film has earned $22.5 million for an early global total of $33.5 million.
Males made up 60 percent of The Gentlemen's audience, while nearly half of ticket buyers were 35 and older, according to PostTrak. The movie earned a B+ CinemaScore, in addition to being embraced by critics. STXfilms acquired rights to the R-rated pic from Miramax for $7 million.
The new horror film The Turning, from DreamWorks and Universal, bowed to $7.3 million after getting bashed by critics and becoming the second title of 2020 to earn a rare F CinemaScore from audiences (The Grudge was the first). It came in sixth place behind Jumanji: The Next Level ($7.9 million).
Inspired by Henry James' classic novella The Turn of the Screw, The Turning tells the tale of a nanny who travels to the remote countryside in Maine to take care of two orphans. The film, directed by Floria Sigismondi, stars Mackenzie Davis, Finn Wolfhard, Brooklynn Prince and Joely Richardson.
The Turning skewed slightly female on Friday (51 percent), while nearly 80 percent of ticket buyers were 35 and under.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker followed at No. 7 as it became the 15th film in history to cross the $500 million mark domestically, not adjusted for inflation. Disney celebrated a second milestone as Frozen 2 passed Avengers: Age of Ultron to become the No. 10 top-grossing movie of all time globally with $1.419 billion in ticket sales.
Knives Out, which rounded out the top 10, enjoyed its own milestone as it crossed $150 million domestically to finish Sunday with a global cume of $286.8 million for Lionsgate and MRC. (MRC shares a parent company with The Hollywood Reporter.)
Elsewhere, 1917 wasn't the only best picture Oscar nominee enjoying a boost as the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony fast approaches.
Bong Joon Ho's contender Parasite accomplished a significant achievement over the weekend in crossing $30 million domestically, a major feat for a foreign-language film. Additionally, the dark comedy-thriller also passed I, Tonya to become the top-grossing title in the history of indie distributor Neon.
Now playing in 1,060 theaters — by far its widest count to date — Parasite earned another $2 million in its fifteenth weekend in release for a domestic tally of $30.9 million.
Jojo Rabbit, directed by Taika Waititi, likewise upped its location count. The irreverent comedy grossed an estimated $1.4 million from 1,160 cinemas for a domestic cume of $25.9 million.
Back in the top 10, Greta Gerwig's Oscar nominee Little Women finished Sunday with a domestic total of $93.7 million. Internationally — where it has yet to open in many markets — it has earned $53 million for a global cume of $146.7 million.
Chris Brown Adorably Brings Daughter Royalty As His Grammy Date!
Smiling sweetly with Royalty, the two-time Grammy winner flaunted his interesting sherbert colored hair. Sporting a pink and blue 'do possibly for each of his children, Chris Brown wore an oversized striped pastel sweater, black slacks, and a blinged-out colored shirt. Royalty Brown proved to love the camera just as much as her daddy and she made sure to hit several fierce poses alongside her famous father. Wearing an all-white outfit to her very first Grammy Awards, Royalty sported a skirt with a matching coat and a shirt with a bow tied around her neck.
Sharing several photos on her personal Instagram, which is run by her mom, Nia Guzman, she captioned the pictures, "My daddy’s date! ❤️π€π½ ππ ... Daddy wanted my outfit to match his shoes!" Royalty Brown is Chris Brown's oldest child and she recently gained a sibling. As The Blast reported, the singer welcomed his second kid, a son, back in November. Aeko Catori was born two months ago and Royalty adores her little brother. Chris Brown made sure to share with fans their first picture together after he welcomed his son with Ammika Harris.
Royalty, who is a red carpet pro at this point, looked like the best big sister and Chris Brown has continuously showed off her progression over the years. He even got emotional when it was her first day of school in the fall.
Wendy Williams Says She's Open to Getting Married Again Following Divorce from Kevin Hunter!
Wendy Williams wants to walk down the aisle again — provided she finds the right man.
“I don’t have a type when I date,” the daytime talk show, who recently finalized her divorce from Kevin Hunter, said during her Thursday appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“You know what’s interesting? When you get grown you realize that within five minutes, even the worst guy, you know, visually or size-wise or whatever, if he’s got game, I’m in,” the daytime host, 55, continued. “As long as he can pay his own bills, because those days are over.”
Asked if Williams had any other qualities she was looking for, she added that any future partners would also have to “treat me with respect.”
“By the way, I’m a wife, not a girlfriend,” she added, before jokingly wiggling her ring-less finger around, quipping: “She’s lonely.”
Clarifying that she wasn’t “desperate” for a man, Williams said that she had no qualms about getting married again someday, so long as she also had a “good ole one-page prenup.”
“One paragraph, maybe two sentences: What’s yours is yours, what’s mine is mine,” she said, before mentioning one other sticking point: “I don’t wanna live with you.”
“You have your place, I have mine. This is a new thing,” she added.
During her appearance on the show, Williams also confirmed that she had finalized her divorce, after staying quiet on the subject during Thursday’s episode of her own talk show.
“After nine months, yes, I am fully divorced,” she said. “A door has closed in old life, the new chapter has been so lovely.”
“I’m not mad, you know, it was 25 years I don’t regret,” she added. “But you know what, sometimes people move on with their lives.”
The exes were married for over two decades before Williams filed for divorce in April 2019. They share son Kevin Jr., 19.
Williams and Hunter are each foregoing alimony and will sell their New Jersey home and share those proceeds, according to court documents obtained by Page Six, which also reported that Hunter will sign over his shares of Wendy Williams Productions to her and that she will get their joint bank account, while he will keep his cars and separate businesses.
Anaconda reboot in the works at Columbia!
Columbia Pictures is heading back to the Amazon with a big-budget reboot of Anaconda.
So why reboot a notoriously awful 1997 B-movie? Well, somehow, Anaconda is actually one of the most profitable properties in Sony’s (which owns Columbia) catalog. No, really. The original, which starred Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz, and Owen Wilson, was completely panned by critics. But audiences bought in to the ridiculous jungle horror, leading to a $136.8 million box office on a $45 million budget.
And it kept going. A theatrical sequel dubbed The Hunt for the Blood Orchid made about $50 million in 2004. In the wake of the Sharknado craze, further sequels ended up on the Sci-Fi Channel, including Anaconda 3: Offspring starring David Hasselhoff. There was even a crossover with the crocodile-based Lake Placid franchise with 2015’s Lake Placid vs. Anaconda.
There have been five Anaconda films in all, so there’s clearly an appetite for these stories about hungry giant snakes. For the upcoming “reimagining,” the studio is looking to take a “Meg-style” route (via The Hollywood Reporter). That means upgrading from an inexpensive B-movie production to an event tentpole with an inflated budget.
Though no producer or director is attached yet, Snow White and the Huntsman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scribe Evan Daugherty has been tasked with guiding the snake back into the water. Not the best pedigree, frankly, but this project is gunning for intentionally outsized, absurd action-horror — so long as it’s kinda fun, it’ll be a win.
