#RHOA: Tanya Sam READS Cookie Lady and Kenya Moore Over Cheating Rumors!
Even Real Housewives of Atlanta's self-proclaimed "breath of fresh air" has her breaking points, and when someone questions her relationship, the claws come out.
Sophomore cast member Tanya Sam spoke about Kenya Moore bringing up allegations that Sam's fiancé, Paul Judge, was cheating on her with who Bravo labeled "the cookie lady," and Tanya did not hold back.
"I don't know where that came from. I thought we had a great weekend," Tanya told us of Kenya's decision to call out her relationship in Toronto. "And then fast-forward to the spa day, everyone was like, 'Uh, Tanya, what's happening? Don't poke the beast!' And I'm like, 'Guys, I don't know what's happening. Why is she directing this at me?'"

Tanya said she never got to the bottom of Kenya's motive; however, based on Moore's confessionals, Sam seems to think it might've been "reflective of what was going on in her own life."
Only after Kenya brought up the rumor did Bravo show previously unseen footage of this cookie shop owner telling Kenya and Cynthia Bailey that Paul had been all over her, trying to booze her up.
When Tanya saw the scene -- along with the rest of America -- she was "mad."

"By this time, we had already gone through this whole season, so when you actually see the footage -- and you see this woman who I kind of thought was a bit of an opportunist...she saw a camera and was like, 'oh my gosh, I wanna tell this story' -- I was mad because it was like trumped-up exaggeration. Now, I have the full story, and I'm like, 'None of that happened.'"
Careful not to spoil what's to come on the rest of Season 12, Sam told us Judge assured her the encounter the cookie lady described was a platonic one and in a group setting. "It's zero on the scale of anything," Tanya recalled Paul telling her. He also assured his fiancée there was no touching involved and no asking for or exchanging of numbers.

"She's got 'RHOA' in her [Instagram] bio!" Tanya told us. "So I was like, okay, this was obviously a really great platform for you to display your business, and I think there's somewhat of a disregard for the real people's lives in there, but it was a great platform that worked for her."
In spite of the attempt to knock down her relationship, Tanya said she and Paul are stronger than ever. "We're solid," she told us. "That's part of the beauty of having a strong foundation on which you can go on reality TV."

When it comes to her relationship with Kenya, however, that might not ever recover.
"You have to cherish the things that you hold dear, and so when people sort of try to attack those things, it takes a little bit longer for you to forgive that," Tanya said. "I can forgive a lot of minor infractions, but that, to me, felt a bit across the line."
Sam also has no regrets about showing Moore's wig on camera, saying the gesture was simply a "funny," "corny joke."

"The scene before, she denied wearing it -- like, very vehemently denied wearing it -- and we're all sitting there going, 'But we can see it!'" Tanya said. "We all know Kenya has great hair, so it's like, if we can't talk about this, what are we supposed to be able to talk about? We've talked about such personal things. And hello! It's a bunch of Black women! We all wear wigs! To me, it had nothing to do with [her natural hair care] business or anything else."

However, "the retaliation of it," Tanya added, "did not match what I had done." Unfortunately, we'll have to wait and see how said "retaliation" plays out during the rest of the season.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

#Empire: Lee Daniels, Country Music Star Brian Kelley Team for ABC Interracial Drama!
'Moss Landing' comes from Disney's 20th Century Fox TV and 'The Son' creator Lee Shipman.
Lee Daniels has landed another project at ABC, this time teaming up with country-music star Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line.

The two will executive produce Moss Landing, a drama with musical elements from writer Lee Shipman (AMC's The Son) and Disney's 20th Century Fox TV, where Daniels is based. The project has a script commitment plus penalty.
Set in a small Florida coastal town, the potential series would follow the sweeping love story of disgraced country star Marion James and Sky Miller, and African American gospel and soul singer. The show would unravel the mysteries of their troubled pasts and follow Marion and Sky through the highs and lows of rebuilding their lives and the love that binds them together — all set to genre-blending musical numbers.

Shipman, who also co-created Netflix's Hemlock Grove, will serve as showrunner should the project go to series. He executive produces with Daniels and Marc Velez of Lee Daniels Entertainment, and Kelley, Stephen Snedden and Justin Halliwell of CuzBro.
Moss Landing is the second ABC project from Daniels and 20th this development season. The Empire co-creator also has comedy Cupcake Men, about brothers (including two ex-NFL players) who run a cupcake shop together. Daniels and former Star showrunner Karin Gist also have soap Our Kind of People at Fox.

ABC's development roster also includes Latinx family comedy Bridges; drama ISB, to be co-written and exec produced by Kevin Costner; musical dramedy Duet; Mandy Moore-produced drama 90's Popstar; a reboot/sequel to early 2010s drama Revenge; Kerry Washington-produced legal drama Reasonable Doubt; crime drama The Receiver; Rebel, from Grey's Anatomy showrunner Krista Vernoff,

#NewMusic from Missy Elliott-‘Why I Still Love You’!
Last year Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott finally released her long awaited new project, ICONOLOGY. The short but sweet 5-track EP was a welcome return to the sound that inspired generations. Along with her music, the star is also known for her amazing videos and she has delivered more visual fire with this project. The latest video for “Why I Still Love You” goes in a different direction than the fish-eyed lenses, Mega Man-inspired outfits, doll houses and other zany and crazy ideas of her past, but it is no less iconic. In fact, it shows the icon taking inspiration from icons who came before her.“Why I Still Love You” is a bit of a throwback track, where the MC puts on her songstress hat, giving us a smoky, blues-inspired, doo-wop-pop-pop tune where she ponders why she’s giving a no-good negro her time and energy. The video takes inspiration from the song's throwback sound and takes the viewer through a little time travel from the 1960s to today.

WATCH
For the video, we return to the Hall of Missy from the “Throw It Back” video, where the young girl dressed like a mini-Missy is marveling at the legacy of the living legend. Like Teyana Taylor in the previous clip, the video features another special guest and frequent collaborator, Monica, who tells the girl that she don’t know nuthin’ ‘bout Missy and explains how her momma’s momma’s momma loved Missy, transitioning to a flashback. From there, we follow Missy and The Demeanors through the ages as a ‘60s girl group, ‘70s soul sistas and ‘80s punk band, with the familiar tune resonating through generations. There are a few comedic turns and even more fly outfits. And, just when you think the story is over, there’s a twist at the end, followed by those ever-cryptic words, “To Be Continued.” Does Missy plan to release a video for every song on ICONOLOGY? We wouldn't be the least bit mad if so.

RuPaul to host Saturday Night Live for the first time!
Just as we suspected, the “H” in “Studio 8H” absolutely stands for “Henny.”
At least that will be the case on Feb. 8, when RuPaul sashays into New York City’s Rockefeller Center to host Saturday Night Live for the first time.

NBC announced Tuesday that the Emmy-winning RuPaul’s Drag Race icon, recording artist, actor, and drag superstar will front the episode, with Justin Bieber as musical guest. RuPaul and Bieber’s episode will fall one week after NFL star J.J. Watt and country artist Luke Combs front the Feb. 1 show.
RuPaul’s SNL gig — his debut hosting slot, though he appeared during a sketch in 1993 episode hosted by Charles Barkley — marks the latest in a series of recent career highs for the 59-year-old, after the Jan. 10 premiere of Netflix’s 10-episode dramedy AJ and the Queen (his first leading role in a scripted series) and last year’s announcement that Drag Race would return for season 12, All-Stars 5, and the new Celebrity Drag Race edition throughout 2020. The Drag Race reality competition series brand will also expand even further around the world in the coming months, with the first season of Canada’s Drag Race and season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK set to bow by the end of the year as well.

“You never know where that next big idea is coming from,” RuPaul recently told EW. “You have to be willing to look for it and leave space and room in your consciousness for it to have a seat.”

Beyonce Fans Are Upset Ivy Park X Adidas Line Doesn’t Have Plus-Size Options!
Beyonce’s Ivy Park collaboration with Adidas took over the internet to say the least.
From Beyonce offering a look book on her Instagram page to the brand selling out in just one day online, it’s safe to say her newest collection was a success.
Still, some fans pointed out that the Ivy Park team-up is flawed as many said it didn’t consider its plus-size shoppers as a press release said the sizes would be XS – XL.
Interestingly enough, while Ivy Park doesn’t go beyond an XL, she sent proud curvy girl Ashley Graham a collection before the release. So, it’s possible she’ll add more sizes in the future.

Academy members viciously reveal why Lopez, Sandler, Murphy got snubbed from Oscars!
Acting legend Terry Moore has one piece of advice for Jennifer Lopez, after the A-lister was snubbed for an Oscar nomination this week: “Get over it.”
Besides, the 91-year-old, who was nominated in 1952 for a best supporting actress award for “Come Back, Little Sheba,” believes Lopez’s performance — which was widely expected to garner a nomination — was overrated.
“I would have been shocked if she did get it,” sniffed Moore, a longtime member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Services who votes on Oscar nominees and was once married to Howard Hughes.

Shock waves rippled across social media this week when the Academy Award nominations were announced and several actors who were anticipated to make the cut didn’t. Among them: Adam Sandler for “Uncut Gems,” Eddie Murphy for “Dolemite Is My Name,” Awkwafina — who recently took top honors at the Golden Globes for “The Farewell” — and, yes, Lopez.
But Hollywood, apparently, was not surprised. After all, they’re the ones who didn’t vote for their dejected peers.
“First of all, ‘Hustlers’ is not an ‘Oscar movie.’ It’s a little too rough around the edges, and I’m assuming some other people in the acting category didn’t see it,” said a longtime character actor and Academy member. “Florence Pugh seems to have gotten the J.Lo spot — maybe because ‘Little Women’ is a prestige movie and she’s a bright, new star.

“If I don’t get [the Oscar], I’m going to f–king come back and do [a movie] again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay.”
 - Adam Sandler
“Actors tend to think of Jennifer Lopez as a phenomenon more than an actress, per se. [It’s like last year, when] Lady Gaga lost the Oscar to Olivia Colman — a real actor’s actor.”
And even those who enjoyed Sandler’s much-lauded performance in “Uncut Gems” said there remains a skepticism in Hollywood about viewing him as a serious actor.
“That [performance] was a tour de force. He’s emerging as a truly great actor, but then he does cheesy Netflix comedies that are really dumb,” said the character actor.

He admitted that, as with “Hustlers,” some voters may not even have bothered to watch Awkwafina’s “The Farewell” or Sandler’s “Uncut Gems.”
“There are a lot of movies, a lot of performances per year for us to watch. Unfortunately, actors become brands. Sandler’s brand doesn’t scream ‘Oscar,’ but Leo DiCaprio’s and Jonathan Pryce’s do,” the character actor said, name-checking 2020 nominees for “Once Upon a Time in … Hollywood” and “The Two Popes,” respectively.
Insiders add that there can be resentment among the voting body — there are some 1,324 voting members in the acting branch — when actors perceived as outsiders don’t play the game right.
Last month, Sandler may have rubbed some of them the wrong way when he joked on Howard Stern’s show: “If I don’t get [the Oscar], I’m going to f–king come back and do [a movie] again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay.”

“There was an arrogance to [Adam],” huffed a voting member. “It’s a lack of respect.”
In 2013, The Post wrote about insiders being miffed that Sandler was invited to join the Academy, the organization behind the Oscars. Calling Sandler and fellow inductee Beyoncé “unworthy,” one insider said: “They’re talented in their own ways, but is that what the Academy is about?”

As for Eddie Murphy, some voters disliked how hard he seemed to be campaigning for a nomination — including hosting “Saturday Night Live” after giving his old show the cold shoulder for 35 years.
“I didn’t like his attempt for it,” said Moore. Still, the voting member conceded: “If Adam Sandler has another great film, he’ll be nominated. If Eddie Murphy has another great film, he’ll be nominated.”

And while there’s little consolation for your peers turning up their noses at you, F. Murray Abraham, who won best actor in 1985 for “Amadeus,” has a message for this year’s snubbed crop: “Either you can accept it graciously, or you can fight against it.”

It appears Tommy Egan’s story isn’t over.

DC Comics Makes Batwoman The Franchise’s First-Ever LGBTQ+ Character!
With times changing and the LGBTQ+ community being more included in society, popular super-hero franchise DC Comics has revealed that Batwoman is a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
The beloved superhero revealed her truth on the CW series, ‘Batwoman,’ in the 10th episode of the first season, “How Queer Everything Is Today!”
The big reveal seemingly pays homage to talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres who came out on the cover of ‘Time’ magazine in 1997, as Batwoman “came out in a cover story for the fictional Catco magazine,” Newsweek reports.
The series, which began in October, follows the main character, Kate Kane (the identity behind the heroine costume), who is also an out lesbian. Now her alter ego has joined the LGBTQ+ community as well.

This reveal marks the first time in history that a superhero from DC Comics has been a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Batwoman/ Kate Kane is played by popular ‘Orange Is The New Blck’ actress Ruby Rose, who also identifies as a lesbian.
Rose spoke to Variety back in October 2019, about her character’s sexual preferences feeling “normal” and no different than her regular life.
“I’ve just been gay forever, so it doesn’t feel like I’m doing anything gayer or more gay,” she said. “I think that everything I do in my life has a similar message…whether I’m playing straight or gay, me as a human being, I live gay.”

Batwoman’s decision to come out followed rumors that she was involved romantically with a male cop. The big decision to make an announcement was also inspired by Parker Torres, another character on the show, who was “outed” to her parents due to an angry ex-girlfriend, Newsweek reports.
Caroline Dries spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and revealed that her wife’s coming out story also played a part in Batwoman labeling as well as the influence she wishes she had during her upbringing, stating, “I have always said that Kate and now Batwoman is the person that, obviously, I wish I had growing up, and she is still the person I aspire to be. She is way more comfortable than I am.”

“With Parker, the girl who pushes Kate to have Batwoman come out, I used my wife’s coming out story,” Dries explained. ”A girl she was dating in high school got mad at her and called her mom and outed her. I felt like that was very relatable. It’s the idea of somebody who is not ready to come out yet, being weaponized against them.”
In her conversation with Variety, Rose added that at the end of the day, she wants to be an inspiration for people like herself, to so they feel included.

“I just hope that everything I do in life just shows there’s room for people like myself to get jobs in acting, in entertainment, in all of the places I’ve found myself working, and to have fun and be accepted and be appreciated,” Rose continued.

Taylor Swift Opens Up About Her Mom’s Brain Tumor Diagnosis!
Standing strong. Taylor Swift opened up about her mother’s unexpected brain tumor diagnosis amid her ongoing battle with breast cancer.
The “You Need to Calm Down” singer, 30, told Variety on Tuesday, January 21, that her family was facing a “really hard time” after doctors discovered the tumor in the midst of her mom’s chemotherapy treatment.
“Everyone loves their mom, everyone’s got an important mom. But for me, she’s really the guiding force. Almost every decision I make, I talk to her about it first. So obviously it was a really big deal to ever speak about her illness,” the Grammy winner explained. “The symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we’ve ever been through with her cancer before. So it’s just been a really hard time for us as a family.”
The “Delicate” songstress first revealed that her mother, Andrea Swift, would be seeking treatment for breast cancer in an emotional note posted to Tumblr in April 2015.

“I’m writing to you with an update I wish I wasn’t giving you, but it’s important and I’m used to sharing important events in my life with you,” the pop star said to her fans at the time. “Usually when things happen to me, I process them and then write music about how I feel, and you hear it much later. This is something my family and I thought you should know about now.”
While the singer admitted that there were “no red flags” during her mother’s initial screening, the results were conclusive for breast cancer. Immediately, an outpouring of support came rushing in for Taylor and her family.
Her mother successfully fought the disease after her diagnosis, but the songwriter admitted four years later that her mother’s cancer had returned — and that her dad, Scott Swift, had also faced a cancer battle.

“I’ve had to learn how to handle serious illness in my family. Both of my parents have had cancer, and my mom is now fighting her battle with it again,” Taylor wrote in an essay penned for Elle magazine in March 2019. “It’s taught me that there are real problems and then there’s everything else. My mom’s cancer is a real problem. I used to be so anxious about daily ups and downs. I give all of my worry, stress, and prayers to real problems now.”

Aaron Hernandez's Fiancée Speaks Out For First Time After Netflix Doc!
Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez is handling the release of Netflix's three-part documentary, Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez, about her late fiancé by taking a break from social media.

Last week, the mother-of-two took to Instagram to address the doc, which chronicles Aaron Hernandez's life from childhood to his 2013 arrest to his suicide in 2017. "I wanted to let all of you sweet sweet souls know I have tried to read every message sent on IG and through email (positive and negative),” she wrote. “The amount of support and positive energy is again unreal! I’m sure you will all understand how imperative it is to take some time away from social media.”

Shayanna additionally captioned the post "#stayhumble😘."
The day prior, on the date of the documentary's release (January 15), she shared an inspirational quote. “Never forget how far you’ve come,” the quote read. “Everything you have gotten through. All the times you have pushed on even when you felt you couldn’t. All the mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was. All the times you wanted to give up but you got through another day. Never forget how much strength you have developed along the way.”
Since its release, Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez has received backlash from those closest to the former New England Patriots tight end. While it provides new details about Aaron's legal cases — he was charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2013 and as he awaited trial, he was charged with the fatal drive-by shootings of Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado — it also implies that Aaron was in the closet, agonizing over his sexuality.

Aaron's lawyer Jose Baez, who repped the late athlete and helped him beat his double murder case, appeared in the documentary. However, after its release, the attorney posted a scathing Instagram post, slamming the producers for their allegedly untruthful documentary. "I don’t give a da*n about what some lame a** documentary has to say about Aaron. I knew him, they did not and while he was far from perfect, they are not even close to the truth," he wrote. "People have no idea how documentaries are made, the truth is usually found on the cutting room floor. These producers lied directly to my face, so I don’t expect their money making scheme to be much better. #ripchico #baezlawfirm #aaronhernandez."

Oprah Says She 'Cannot Be Silenced By' Russell Simmons, Defends Exit From #MeToo Documentary!
“The only question for me is what is the right thing to do,” Oprah told Gayle King.
Oprah Winfrey is opening up about her decision to step away from promoting documentary, “On the Record,” which focuses on sexual harassment in the music industry, including women who have accused Russell Simmons of misconduct.

While appearing on “CBS This Morning” Tuesday, Oprah explained her decision to leave the film was due to “inconsistencies” in the project.
According to the media mogul, she approached the filmmakers and said that if they didn’t pull the doc from Sundance Film Festival, set to premiere on Jan. 25, and address the issues that concerned her she would take her name off the project.
Oprah, who is a survivor of sexual assault, began by saying that it was a “hard decision” to leave the project because she “knew” that Simmons had started “publicly pressuring” her. “Me pulling out of the documentary was going to look like I was being pressured,” Oprah said.

“The only question for me is what is the right thing to do,” she continued. “Before the public pressure had started…I had gone to the filmmakers and I had said to them, ‘Houston I think we have a problem here’ because new information had come forward the very first time this was announced and I said, ‘I think [we] need to pull out of Sundance and if we can’t pull out of Sundance, I’m going to have to take my name off.”
Oprah expressed that all she cares about is “getting it right,” adding that she told the filmmakers, “I think there’s some inconsistencies in the stories that we need to look at.”
The television host made it clear that she stood by the women in the film: “I believe the women’s voices deserve to be heard, and as an executive producer I was also in a position where I think things were not right. I wanted the context of the story to be broadened, I wanted more women to be brought in.”

When CBS’ Gayle King told Oprah that many people consider her exit a “victory” for Russell, Oprah bluntly replied, “This is not a victory for Russell and I can unequivocally say, I did not pull out because of Russell.”
“This is not a victory lap for him. I cannot be silenced by Russell Simmons after all I’ve been through,” she continued. “[It’s] ridiculous to think I could be intimidated by Russell Simmons.”
She also made it clear she wants people to still see the film and make up their own minds about it.

Two weeks ago, Oprah, who had served as an executive producer on the film, released a statement that she would be leaving the project: “In my opinion, there is more work to be done on the film to illuminate the full scope of what the victims endured and it has become clear that the filmmakers and I are not aligned in that creative vision.”

TooFab has contacted Russell Simmons seeking comment. Simmons has previously denied allegations of misconduct.
