Janet Jackson is ROCKING a Glammed-Up Photo Shoot!
Janet Jackson has been on a roll recently, uploading multiple photos of herself looking glammed-up in professional photoshoots. The “That’s the Way Love Goes” hitmaker has posted more shots of herself on Instagram — and her followers aren’t complaining.

Jackson has been sporting dark curly locks in recent photos but opted for a lighter brown for this shoot. She owned a full fringe and wore her straightened hair down. The icon rocked a denim jacket with the sleeves rolled up. Underneath, she stunned in a dark blue semi-sheer gown that had lots of layers. The poofy garment fell to the floor and looked like it was made out of thin netted material.

Jackson paired the look with blue thigh-high heels and accessorized herself with black gloves that covered her fingers but not her thumb. She applied a coat of neon-colored nail polish, a bright-colored lipstick and had a sheer red net blowing on top of her head.
In the upload, which consisted of two photos, Jackson wowed her followers with the artistic aesthetic. In the first shot, the “Love Will Never Do (Without You)” chart-topper was photographed sitting. She appeared to be looking down while rocking a chilled out, slouched pose. The red net only went across the top part of her head and didn’t cover all her hair.

In the second, Jackson looked down while the net covered her entire head, blocking her face.
In the span of one hour, her post racked up more than 30,000 likes and over 750 comments, proving to be a hit with her 3.9 million followers.
“All the looks. All the fashions. All the iconicness,” one user wrote.
“I’M DECEASED. U ARE KILLING IT,” another shared passionately in capital letters.
“These need to be put in a gallery!! Beautiful!” a third fan insisted.
“You didn’t have to slay us like this,” a fourth follower commented.

All week, Jackson has been sharing images of herself that are very creative.

#Empire: BTS Was Just On 'Empire' But Not In The Way You'd Expect!
Who doesn’t adore the K-Pop boy band, BTS? Though the seven-member group has been around since 2013 — their fame has absolutely exploded across the globe in the past couple of years making them a household name.

In addition to their stellar singles, iconic collabs, and unique style — Jungkook, Jin, V, RM, Suga, J-Hope, and Jimin have also shown so much love to their fans –the BTS ARMY. This has only heightened the hoopla surrounding them.
Now, BTS has become so entrinched into American popular culture that they’ve just appeared on the mega popular music show, Empire, but it’s not exactly what you think.
BTS just had a “cameo” on ‘Empire’
Though they were on hiatus just before fall — BTS has been working non-stop since their return to the spotlight in October 2019. The band has been teasing their next album, releasing solo singles, and they are set to perform in Time’s Square for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2020, However, their pseudo appearance on Empire has got the ARMY buzzing.

On a Dec. 17 episode of Empire titled, “Cold Cold Man,” BTS look-alikes appeared in the audience of Empire’s Grammy-type show. There was also a fake Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj in the audience.

Since Fox couldn’t snag the real BTS — because they are booked and busy, they simply hired a group of lookalikes with multicolored hair.

#SNL: Eddie Murphy Had a Few Comedy Legends During His SNL Monologue!
Eddie Murphy got off to a pretty strong start during his return to Saturday Night Live. The 58-year-old hosted the show's Christmas episode on Dec. 21, and kicked the night off with a funny monologue about what he's been up to since leaving the show 35 years ago. "This is the last episode of 2019, but if you're Black, this is the first episode since I left back in 1984," he started off.

Murphy cracked a few jokes about welcoming his 10th child earlier this year, dropping an all-new project on Netflix in November, and officially wrapping the Coming to America sequel this month. But perhaps the best moment of the six-minute bit was Murphy being joined on stage by Dave Chappelle and SNL alums Tracy Morgan and Chris Rock.

WATCH

Morgan was the first to make a cameo, coming out and joking about literally owing his existence to Murphy (because he was allegedly conceived during one of his comedy tours), before Rock stepped on stage and made a crack about mainly being there because of Lizzo, who was the show's musical guest for the night. Chappelle was the last to join the group, stepping in to drop a joke about all four of the comedians taking up most of Netflix's budget with their comedy specials.

#TRAGIC: 2 in custody after memorial turns 'chaotic' in Englewood, police say!
CHICAGO -- Two people are in custody after 13 people were shot including a 16-year-old boy Sunday morning inside and outside near a residence in Englewood on the South Side, Chicago police said.

According to police, around 12:35 a.m. officers were alerted by ShotSpotter technology of shots fired in the 5700 block of South May Street.
"I was awoken by the sound of, seemed like 4, 5, or 6 gunshots and it seemed pretty loud, so it seemed kind of close," Neighbor, Terrence Daniely said. "I didn't see any commotion when I looked out the window but then shortly after I heard the sounds of people screaming and running from a party on the street."
"It was just so many people out, so many cars on the street, and the police response was amazing, it seemed like there were 100 police officers running to the scene," Daniely said.
Two people are in custody after 13 people were shot including a 16-year-old boy Sunday inside and near a residence in Englewood on the South Side, Chicago police said.
Chicago Police Chief of Patrol Fred Waller gave an update Sunday morning.

According to Waller, shots were initially fired inside a residence stemming from a dispute when people started to filter outside into the streets.
Once people were outside, police said a person who was inside of the residence also started shooting at people.

"This is an isolated incident that stemmed from inside that party and flowed onto the street," Waller said. "Shots were fired inside, everyone started to leave, and that's when shots were fired outside."
According to Waller, seven people were transported with gunshot wounds from the scene and six others transported themselves.
A 16-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but has since been stabilized, Waller said.
Four others are still in critical condition, police said. The victims were between 16 and 48-years-old.
Police confirmed two people are in custody and being questioned regarding the incident.
One suspect was arrested at the scene with a revolver, Waller said. An unidentified person who was shot during the altercation and initially transported to a hospital is also being questioned as a suspect, Waller said.

"One person was arrested at the scene with a revolver," Waller said. "Another person who was shot during the altercation was later identified as a person who may have also been firing a weapon."
Waller said POD cameras helped officers get information about what transpired.
"POD videos shows who was firing outside so we have some information about what happened there," said Waller. "One of the people who left the party also fired shots at a passing vehicle so we have about three different crime scenes to cover."

Police said the party was a memorial for someone who was slain in April earlier this year.
CPD said they plan to increase police presence in the area.
16th Ward Alderman Stephanie Coleman said the shooting is not representative of the neighborhood and she's saddened by the violence over Christmas break.
"Very sad and very disappointed that our children, this is their welcoming not only into the Christmas holiday, but to their Christmas break," Coleman said."I saw disappointment, I saw frustration, I saw fear, I saw lots of concerned neighbors getting to the bottom of it. I saw children at 12:30 in the morning, could you only imagine children out because there was that much activity going on."

50 Cent Rents Out Toys 'R' Us For Son’s Private Christmas Shopping Spree!
Sire Jackson’s Christmas wish came true this weekend when his hip-hop mogul father rented out an entire Toys ‘R’ Us store for his private shopping spree. That’s right, the Power star made Christmas come early for his baby boy after reportedly cashing out $100,000 to shut down the store’s Westfield Garden State Plaza location in Paramus, New Jersey, so Sire could splurge all to himself for a few hours.

"When I asked my Dad for the 'WHOLE Toys R Us Store' for Christmas I didn't think he would actually do it, but he did," reads a post on Sire’s Instagram account, ran by his mother Daphne Joy. "Thank you Daddy! Best Christmas Ever!"

A series of images shared on the account also shows Sire having a blast — from posing with the store’s mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe, grabbing tons of LEGO sets and a NERF blaster, and even playing a few games of Mario Kart as well. "Daddy got Sire all the LEGOs, but not just all the LEGOs, all of Toys R' Us," Daphne revealed in an Instagram Story, according to E! News. "And what do you say to Daddy? Say, 'I love you!' Sire's in utter shock right now and disbelief."
As fans know, Sire is the youngest of 50’s children. The musician is also father to estranged 22-year-old son Marquise Jackson.
