I mean, how fucking insecure must you be, as a human being, that because you are uncomfortable with doing something, somebody else shouldn’t be able to do it? I don’t accept that. That’s unacceptable to me.”
On there being gender-fluid elements to the way he dressed long before it became a national conversation: “It started with the ‘I can pull that off’ thing. I wore a lot of Chanel, and I wore tons of Céline. Like, I got all the O.G. Céline. Because they were clothes I could fit in. When you listen to yourself and you’re comfortable in who you are, you wear what you feel like fits and looks right on you. And that’s it.”
On wearing some pieces of womenswear: “Well, I’m ashamed to say it was an aesthetic choice first. I liked something, and I put it on. Then the philosophy came behind it. And I do have my lines. Like, I can’t wear no skirt. Nor am I interested in wearing a blouse. That’s not my deal. But things that are made for women that I feel will look good on me—that I like—I will wear.”

#RHOA: Kenya Moore Shares ‘Bittersweet’ Memory With Husband Marc Daly After Announcing Divorce!
Kenya Moore shared an emotional Instagram post days ago in which the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member looked back on one of her fond memories with her estranged husband, Marc Daly.
Weeks after confirming that their two-year marriage had come to an end, Moore posted a series of photos of herself with Missy Copeland as she attended the 21st Annual Corps de Ballet Fashion Show and Luncheon at the St. Regis resort in Atlanta, Georgia.
“Thank you Josh for inviting me again this year. It was bittersweet as my husband and I were there together last year and Brooklyn (in my belly),” Moore wrote in the caption of her images, according to a report from Bravo TV’s The Daily Dish.
Moore and Daly tied the knot in St. Lucia in June 2017 and welcomed their daughter, 11-month-old Brooklyn, in November of last year.
As fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will recall, producers were reportedly upset with the fact that Moore chose to marry Daly without their Bravo TV cameras in tow, per Wetpaint. In addition, since Moore refused to feature their marriage on the show, she was left out of the full-time cast lineup of Season 11. Then, after Daly agreed to be featured on the show, Moore was able to reprise her full-time role on the show during Season 12.
Moore and her co-stars will return to Bravo TV on Sunday, November 3 at 8 p.m. in the 12th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
#Empire: Recap: So That's How Cookie will Ultimately Crumble?
Oh My! Empire just threw another Lyon to the wolves.Tuesday’s episode of the departing Fox drama concluded with a fast-forward sequence that appeared to show Cookie getting blown to smithereens via car bomb. But appearances on Empire — which has a long history of playing bait-and-switch with viewers — can be deceiving (see also: Andre’s terminal cancer diagnosis that wasn’t and last season’s anti-climactic coffin reveal). But even by Empire‘s shifty standards, it’s tough to imagine how anyone — even the seemingly indestructible Cookie Lyon — could survive such an explosion.
The setting and timing of this week’s Cookie-killing flash-forward — it occurred at the Lyon family estate roughly nine months in the future — suggests that her demise is directly linked to husband Lucious’ own previously teased death. As you’ll recall, Empire opened its final season last month which a flash-forward sequence showing the Lyon patriarch taking three bullets to the upper body by an unknown assailant. Given Cookie’s jittery, guilty-as-hell energy as she exited her house and made her way to her TNT-rigged automobile, the show clearly wants us to think that Cookie murdered Lucious before running straight into the Grim Reaper’s clutches herself.
Elsewhere in “Tell the Truth”…After a two-episode absence precipitated by portrayer Bryshere Y. Gray’s reduced Season 6 workload, Hakeem returns just in time to attend the baptism of Andre and Teri’s son Walker. And to give us a behind-the-scenes first look at the deeply troubled, woefully miscast Empire feature film (of which recovering fugitive Lucious has now taken control of).
* Cookie begins seeing a therapist to get to the bottom of her pesky insomnia.
* Pro-choice Becky is incensed when Giselle signs out and proud pro-lifer Tiana to a record deal.
* Cookie and Lucious take part in a log overdue air-clearing, during which the former extends a reconciliation-themed olive branch to the latter (who promptly breaks it in half).

#MusicNews: Calvin Richardson Set to Release New Album “Gold Dust”!
The Soul Prince Calvin Richardson is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album “Gold Dust” via Shanachie Entertainment. This is his seventh album overall and will release on October 25th, 2019.
Just as he has been singing about for the past couple of decades, the new album is all about relationships. The singer says his upbringing gave him invaluable insight into relationships. Calvin adds:
“I was raised surrounded by women – my mom, my grandmother, aunts, sister, cousins, church ladies etc. I learned the heartbeat of what makes women tick. The mystique of a woman versus her overt authenticity is what inspires me to address matters of the heart and much of what I learned is reflected in my music.”
The new album will certainly prove with every note why he has earned the title “The Soul Prince.” The Grammy-nominated singer explains that when he signed the deal for the recording he gave himself a six-week window to complete it. “After my hit single “Can’t Let Go,” I definitely started off feeling the pressure. You know they say pressure burst pipes and I thought if this pipe bursts, it would be filled with Gold-Dust!”
His fans will be excited to know that he is back at full capacity after having lost his voice in early 2018. “This was the first album that I ever made where I felt pressure because of my touring schedule, and being occupied by writing my very first book, Do You Without Them, and the fact that I had lost my voice which carried over into this year. I had to work with much less than 100% of my ability but creatively I was still there.”
“Gold Dust” is an auditory manual for love. It is a gift from Calvin to his fans featuring a hearty ten-track recipe for love, fueled by experience and wisdom. Calvin says, “This music is dedicated to those of you who know how to love but made for the ones that have never known love.”
#HipHopNews: Big Sean Enlists Post Malone, A$Ap Rocky, & Meek Mill For New Album!
As he gears up for the release of his fifth album this fall, the Detroit-bred rapper is revealing more details about the highly-anticipated project including some of his collaborators.
Post Malone appears on “Wolves,” a track about family, which also features ad-libs from A$AP Rocky. “[That song is about] my family growing up,” Sean tells Entertainment Weekly. “Everybody’s in there, my grandma, my mom, my brother — it’s like they were a pack of wolves and they were the sweetest and strongest. It’s one of my favorites on the album.”
Rocky also guests on another song with MadeinTYO. “Rocky had a verse on [‘Wolves’ originally], but he ended up doing the verse to another song that he and I felt fit a little better with the album,” he adds. “That’s another song I got with MadeinTYO. But I just kept it dialed-in throughout.”
In addition to “Single Again” and the A$AP Ferg-assisted “Bezerk,” Meek Mill and Diddy make cameos. “There’s a song where Meek Mill just says two lines, and Puff had a couple of lines,” reveals Sean.
For the first time, he also opens up about being diagnosed with a heart disease at the age of 19. “I couldn’t even walk from one side of the room to the other without getting super-tired,” he tells EW. “I passed out once in the shower and got rushed to the emergency room.”
He addresses the scary moment on “Lucky Me,” crediting his mother’s holistic medicine for curing him. “Lucky me, I was diagnosed with a heart disease at 19,” he raps. “Doctors said they had to cut it open put a pacemaker on it to put it back on beat / ‘Til my mother took me to holistic doctors and they prescribed me magnesium for two weeks / Went back to the regular doctors and they said, ‘Huh? damn, looks like we don’t need to proceed.'”
Sean does even more personal reflection throughout the album, his first solo project since 2017’s I Decided. “I took some time to work on myself and I was able to have a good therapist, good mentors,” he says. “I truthfully feel like it’ll really shine through on the full album.”
Gina Rodriguez Apologizes After Getting Backlash For Using N-Word!
“I really am sorry if I offended you.”
Gina Rodriguez is saying sorry after receiving backlash for using the n-word in a video where she raps along to the Fugees song, “Ready or Not.” The Jane the Virgin star deleted the controversial recording from her Instagram stories on Tuesday (Oct. 15), and replaced it with an apology video.
“I just wanted to reach out and apologize. I am sorry if I offended anyone by singing along to the Fugees,” Rodriguez said, before adding that she grew up on the song and loves Lauryn Hill. “I really am sorry if I offended you.”
The deleted clip features Rodriguez getting her hair and makeup done while reciting the line, “frontin’ ni**as give me heebie-jeebies” from Hill’s verse on the Fugees track.
The viral video brought up more claims of anti-blackness, which Rodriguez has faced in the past. In 2018 interview with Sway in the Morning, Rodriguez said being called anti-black was, “devastating,” but it's doubtful that her latest antics have helped change any opinions. The recent backlash also drove the 35-year-old actress to temporarily disable the comments on her Instagram account.
Lizzo Accused Of Plagiarizing 'Truth Hurts' ... AGAIN!
For a second time, Lizzo is being accused of plagiarizing her hit single, "Truth Hurts."
Songwriter and producer, Justin Raisen, posted a video to Instagram on Monday (October 14) in an effort to compare "Truth Hurts" to a single called "Healthy" that he allegedly wrote with Lizzo and other songwriters in 2017. In addition to claiming the songs shared the same melody, Justin posted a lengthy caption, detailing how he allegedly wrote "Truth Hurts"' famous line: "I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100 percent that b*tch."
"The Truth about 'Truth Hurts,'" he began. "On April 11th, 2017, we wrote a song called 'Healthy' w/ Lizzo, Jesse St John, and Yves Rothman at our studio. 'I just took a DNA test turns out I’m 100% that b*tch' was taken from “Healthy” and used in “Truth Hurts”.
He added, "We were never contacted about being credited for the use of the parts of 'Healthy' (melody, lyrics, and chords) that appear in 'Truth Hurts'. After reaching out to Ricky Reed and Lizzo’s team about fixing it, we put the song in dispute in 2017 when it came out. We’ve tried to sort this out quietly for the last two years, only asking for 5% each but were shutdown every time."
Justin went on to say that his Instagram post was his last resort to get the credit he believes he deserves and to relieve the alleged "emotional distress caused by this."
"The last thing we want to do is throw any negativity toward Lizzo’s momentum and movement as a cultural figure," he continued. "If we believe in what she’s preaching, believing in ourselves & our own voices is something we thought she’d understand."
The songwriter then brought up British singer Mina Lioness, who first accused Lizzo of stealing portions of "Truth Hurts," citing her own February 2018 tweet — "I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100 percent that b*tch" — as proof.
"Shout out to the singer Mina Lioness ( @minalioness ) for tweeting 'I just did a DNA test turns out I’m 100% that b*tch'. A meme of that came up in our writing session & inspired the lyric and melody we wrote together," Justin alleged. "If Ricky and Lizzo’s team decide to settle this dispute with us, we would like to share some of the proceeds with Mina for her influence on Healthy."

Last night, the actress shared a photo on social media that was taken at ELLE’s 26th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel on October 14.
Zendaya was an honoree at the event and spoke to the crowd. The guests included her “Euphoria” co-stars Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and Storm Reid, who came out to support Zendaya.

The Botham Jean Foundation Donates To Atatiana Jefferson’s Family!
The resilience of Black people never ceases to amaze. After suffering such tragic events at the hands of the police, the family of Botham Jean decided to make a donation to Atatiana Jefferson’s family in the wake of her murder, CNN reports. By establishing the Botham Jean Foundation, the family seeks to assist families who are impacted by police brutality.
It’s disturbing that there’s even a need for such a cause, however, as stated on the foundation’s website, “As long as poverty, injustice & inequality persist, none of us can truly rest.” In an open letter to Atatiana’s family, Jean’s sister, Allisa Findley, stated, “Having a loved one taken in this horrific manner is one far more traumatic and a pain no family should have to bear. Unfortunately, too many families have had to suffer at the hands of those paid to serve and protect us.”
It’s admirable that after suffering their own loss, the Jean family has sprung into action and servitude to provide aide to another family in their time of mourning.
Thankfully, Botham’s murderer Amber Guyger was sentenced to 10 years in prison, providing some sense of justice that is rarely seen in matters of police brutality against black people. Atatiana’s murderer, Aaron Dean, has since resigned from the police force and faces murder charges for her senseless death. As the story continues to progress, one can only hope that justice will prevail, leaving Dean to serve significant jail time for his actions. If convicted, it would send a hopeful message to the police force and the black community as a whole that it will no longer be tolerated and supported by law to murder innocent black men and women without consequence.
Come Take a Look Inside the 'Breaking Bad' Pop-Up Restaurant in L.A.!
Breaking Bad fever is raging again thanks to the new Netflix movie El Camino and a special Breaking Bad Experience has opened in Los Angeles.
The pop-up restaurant is opening in the same location where the former Saved By the Bell and Good Burger pop-ups used to be in West Hollywood.
The interactive experience will include an assortment of insta-worthy set recreations from all five seasons of the show. Fans of Breaking Bad can feast on a variety of show-inspired libations and bar snacks up to Walter White’s standards.
General admission tickets will be available for $30 and include entry, up to 90 minutes inside, and choice of first concoction and food item. Additional food and beverages can be purchased á la carte.
“It’s exciting to be able to give the folks who supported the show for all these years the chance to experience Walt’s world firsthand,” said show creator Vince Gilligan.
Tickets for the experience are on sale now and will be available through the end of the year.
‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ Musical Sets Date For Broadway, Announces Cast!
Mrs. Doubtfire has a sure date with Broadway and, as rumored, she’ll be arriving with Beetlejuice‘s Rob McClure in the title role, producers announced this morning.
The musical, directed by Jerry Zaks and based on the 1993 Robin Williams hit movie, will begin previews March 9, 2020, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, with an opening night set for Sunday, April 5. (Though its venue will be the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Sondheim, Mrs. Doubtfire is not a Roundabout production).
The previously announced staging, produced by Kevin McCollum – a multiple Tony winner with credits including Avenue Q, Rent and In The Heights) – features a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, with music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick.
Along with McClure in the role made famous by Williams, Mrs. Doubtfire will star Jenn Gambatese (School of Rock) as Miranda Hillard (Sally Field in the movie); Brad Oscar as Frank Hillard; Analise Scarpaci as Lydia Hillard; Jake Ryan Flynn as Christopher Hillard; Avery Sell as Natalie Hillard; J. Harrison Ghee as Andre; Mark Evans (The Play That Goes Wrong) as Stuart Dunmeyer (the Pierce Brosnan role), Charity Angél Dawson as Wanda Sellner; and Peter Bartlett as Mr. Jolly.
With actors McClure, Bartlett and Oscar officially on board, Mrs. Doubtfire has shaped up to be a reunion for much of the team behind 2015’s popular, Tony-nominated Something Rotten! Produced by McCollum, that show featured the same musical team and had a pre-Broadway run at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre. (Doubtfire runs from Nov. 26-Dec. 29 there.)
Said McCollum in a statement, “It’s great to be back with Karey, Wayne and John – and working with Jerry has been a dream of mine. They do comedy and family like no one else – and bringing this beloved story to life as a hilarious and touching musical comedy is an irresistible opportunity.”
Further casting will be announced at a later date.
Zaks is a four-time Tony winner (eight-time nominee) most recently on Broadway with the Bette Midler hit Hello, Dolly! as well as A Bronx Tale: The Musical.
The creative team also includes includes choreography by Lorin Latarro; scenic design by David Korins; costumes by Catherine Zuber; music supervision by Ethan Popp; lighting design by Philip Rosenberg; sound by Brian Ronan; and hair & wig design by David Brian Brown.
Presented by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical and based on the Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture, Mrs. Doubtfire will follow the film’s plot. As described by the production: “When out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard loses custody of his kids in a divorce, he disguises himself as Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As he gets lost in his new persona and grows closer to his kids, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.”
The movie, directed by Chris Columbus, was written for the screen by Randi Mayem Singer and Leslie Dixon, based on Anne Fine’s novel Alias Madame Doubtfire.
P. Diddy’s Son Breaks His Silence on His Dad and Lori Harvey’s Alleged Relationship!
Apparently, Steve Harvey's daughter and the rapper are doing well.
Over the past few months, rumors have been spreading that Sean "Diddy" Combs, 49, and Lori Harvey, 22, are together.
Neither P. Diddy nor Lori Harvey have confirmed or denied they are a couple, though they have been spotted out together over the last few months.
Diddy's 21-year-old son, Christian Combs, recently weighed in on the alleged romance to Hollywood Life.
In late July, rumors started going around that rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, 49, was secretly dating 22-year-old model Lori Harvey. Since then, neither Sean nor Lori have uttered a word about their alleged romance. Now though, it seems like Sean's 21-year-old son, Christian Combs, has spoken for them.
While attending a Tiffany & Co.'s Men's Collection launch event in Los Angeles on October 11, Christian gave an update about the alleged couple to the celebrity site Hollywood Life. There, he told the outlet that Diddy and Lori were being "private" about everything.
“They [are] good. They’re just being … Private time,” he explained. “That’s up to them. So …”
He didn't say too much, but Christian did make it sound like the two are, in fact, an item at the moment (though, it's important to point out, again, that neither Diddy nor Lori have confirmed their relationship status).
All of this came just a day before more rumors started spreading about P. Diddy. On October 12, paparazzi photos of the rapper out to dinner with another woman emerged, causing many to speculate that that he was out on a date. But that's all hearsay.
And if Diddy and Lori are indeed a couple, it would make sense since they've been spotted together in New York City, Nerano, Italy, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Atlanta, Georgia over the past few months. Plus, on one of their outings this summer, Lori was seen with her arm around Diddy as they grabbed lunch with her stepdad, Steve Harvey.
With that being said, in late August reports were saying that Diddy and Lori had gone their separate ways. Right around the same time, Diddy posted an Instagram of a plate with a quote on it that read, "I have decided to be happy, because it is good for my health."
Together, apart, or whatever, we just hope Lori and Diddy are happy and, as Christian called it, "good."
Julián Castro At Democratic Debate: ‘Police Violence Is Also Gun Violence’!
Former Housing Sec. Julián Castro has consistently centered police violence in his presidential campaign, and last night’s Democratic primary debate in Westerville, Ohio, wasn’t any different.
As the conversation turned to gun violence, and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) struggled to explain to moderator Anderson Cooper how he would enforce a mandatory assault weapons buyback without insisting that police go door-to-door, Castro pivoted in the right direction.
“There are two problems I have with mandatory buybacks,” Castro said matter-of-factly. “Number one, folks can’t define it, and if you’re not going door-to-door then it’s not really mandatory.
“But also, in the places that I grew up in, we weren’t exactly looking for another reason for cops to come banging on the door,” the former mayor of San Antonio continued. “I am not going to give these police officers another reason to go door-to-door in certain communities because police violence is also gun violence and we need to address that.”
Castro’s necessary disruption of the racial and economic flatness of the gun violence discussion drew some of the biggest applause of the night—and became the top tweeted moment of the debate.
Castro said Jefferson’s name, reiterating post-debate on Twitter that any gun violence debate must address police violence. “Our policing system is in dire need of reform. As we address the epidemic of gun violence we have to recognize the role of police violence in our nation.”
