#RHOA: Looky Looky at Kandi Burruss’ Baby Ace’s Afro!
Kandi Burruss‘ son has already demonstrated his adoration of dancing, and he recently showed off some new moves after a visit to a dinosaur event. But while fans lapped it up, it was Ace Wells Tucker’s hair that stole the show.

“Ayyyeee! My little Ace was excited today to go to #JurrasicQuest. Thanks for taking him,” Burruss captioned the August 25 video of Ace dancing around to Lil Nas X’s hit “Old Town Road.” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star also thanked her pal, self-proclaimed meal prep coach Jas X, for taking young Ace to the dinosaur-focused tour at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta over the weekend. At Jurrasic Quest, kids can participate in activities and view exhibits exploring the lives of the true-to-size dinos.

It’s not clear if the video was filmed before or after Ace and his buddy saw what the event had to offer, but what is apparent is how much fans adored seeing the 3-year-old’s moves.

“Get it …. Get it😍😍😍😍
Burruss has long grown out his hair, which is usually styled in cornrows braided straight back on his scalp. The style caught some heat back in December, however, when the “RHOA” star posted a video to her Instagram account of her hairstylist, known as Sew Jodie on the platform, smoothing Ace’s edges down with some gel.

“The edges are a bit much for a little boy.”
“Nice… but the edges should not be laid they should be naturally braided in with the hair or left alone. He’s a boy, not a girl.” In May, Instagram users sounded off about Ace’s hair once again, saying his voluminous Afro, which was covered in confetti after he partied at a pal’s birthday shindig, made him look girlie.
“He looks just like a girl he’s really pretty I think it’s time to cut his hair to give him that boy look.”
“He so stinking cute I looked up and thought he was a girl!! I have the same issue with my grandson… lol.”

#Empire: Taraji P. Henson Shows Off Her Natural Hair
The actress gave fans major curl envy in a new look. As an actress, Taraji P. Henson is known for switching up her hairstyles to match each character that she plays, but now, she’s giving fans a glimpse of her naturally lush curls. The Empire star, 48, shared a video of her gorgeous tresses ahead of her highly anticipated release of  TPH Beauty products.

Taraji shared a boomerang on Instagram on August 25, as she gently tugged on one of her ringlets. Followers couldn’t help but gush over the What Men Want actress’ hair.
“Love the hair,” a fan commented with the fire emoji. “Curls, curls, curls, curls!” another chimed in.
Many kept it short and sweet and wrote “beautiful” or left heart emojis in the comments section.
“Come and tell us your secrets for this AMAZING HAIR” a fan begged. “What hair products are you using? And when are you coming out with yours” another inquired.
The Hidden Figures star mentioned on August 19 in an Instagram post that she would be releasing her own beauty products.

When TPH Beauty will be available to purchase remains a mystery, but the actress’ latest selfie has fans desperate for it to drop ASAP.

#MusicNews: Boyz II Men will Return to Las Vegas in September (2019)
Veteran and legendary R&B group Boyz II Men are returning to take residency at the Mirage, marking their return to a long-time favorite venue. Starting in Philadelphia in the mid-’80s, Boyz II Men have been one of the most influential forces in R&B, finding groundbreaking success on both a national and international stage. With dates now set by the Mirage, we want to take a look at why the group has chosen Vegas, and what causes this city to have such a longstanding reputation as a place of musical excellence.
Still successful to this day, the members have gone on to create their popular and successful solo acts. Shawn Stockman just recently dropped his new singles “Feelin Lil Som’n”, and “Left Right.” They also still work in collaboration with other acts, such as their recent efforts with Charlie Puth on “If You Leave Me Know.”

Finally, Boyz II Men have been credited with playing a huge part in the resurgence of R&B back to the former heights of the 1970s. The success of the genre since the 2000s has often been quoted as being born of their success and this is a sentiment shared by many in the entertainment industry and the general public.

Earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012, and recently being honored by their home city, Boyz II Men have sold more than 60 million albums, as they approach their residence at the Mirage.
Playing in Vegas means that everyone knows where you are, can get there easily, and is guaranteed a pleasant experience when they arrive.

The other part of this equation comes from a return to popularity which casinos have seen in recent years. There was a period where the likes of Vegas and Reno were synonymous with upper-class American life, but popular opinion did not remain constant. With the passing of the Rat Pack, the mystique of the land of casinos started to wane, not seeing a revival until recently.
So far, Boyz II Men have a total of 14 concerts planned for their stay at Las Vegas, from the 14th of September to the 29th of December. With prices starting at $49.99, this could be a perfect fit for your next holiday if you wish to visit them live again or want to catch a look at the legends in person for the first time.

Those interested can call today, as these are likely to sell out fast.

#HipHopNews: Lil Wayne Reveals Funeral Album Done and will be Dropping Before End Of Year!
Lil Wayne will have a new album out by year's end. The Young Money rapper appeared on New Orleans radio station Q93 in an interview with Wild Wayne shared on Monday (Aug. 26), and confirmed that his long-awaited Funeral project is on the way.

"I'm not sure. I wouldn't count it out but the Funeral is my next album," Wayne told the host when asked if we would ever get Tha Carter VI. "I'ma be dropping that by the end of the year."
He then gave an update on where he's at with the album's completion.
"Wayne, you know how I work. My album's always done; it just takes Mack [Maine] to come in there and wrap up a couple songs and name them," Tunechi said. "That's how it go around here. I work every day, so, it just takes them to come in and say, 'Let me get these 20 songs. Can I have these?’ and they name them and then we go from there."

Weezy first revealed plans for the Funeral album way back in 2016 during an interview on The Nine Club podcast, though he didn't give many details.
“Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon,” Wayne said at the time. "That’s my music. Get your roses ready. I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads high soon."

There weren't many updates on the project until earlier this year, when the rapper posted an emoji of a coffin on his Instagram Story in April. The following month, ticket sales for his current tour with Blink-182 included "a physical CD per order with your choice of Blink-182’s or Lil Wayne’s forthcoming album" per Ticketmaster, leading fans to believe this could very well be the Funeral LP.

NY Senator Kirsten Gillibrand drops out of the presidential race
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is no longer running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, she announced Wednesday.
Gillibrand framed her campaign as a fight for a return to “America’s values,” publicizing her consistent anti-Trump record and her past political advocacy and legislation, especially for women and families. She campaigned on protecting abortion rights, ending gun violence and curbing America’s warfare abroad.
I am so proud of this team and all we've accomplished. But I think it’s important to know how you can best serve.

To our supporters: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Now, let's go beat Donald Trump and win back the Senate.
But Gillibrand struggled to gain traction. It took until June for her to announce she had enough donors to meet the 65,000 donor threshold to ensure a spot on the Democratic debate stage. In early June, she hinted she’d be willing to support another Democratic candidate if they had a better chance of defeating President Donald Trump.

“I think it’s important that one of us survives, because it’s really important that our nominee is absolutely impenetrable,” she said at an event in early June, according to HuffPost’s Emma Gray. “I want to make sure that we have the strongest most capable nominee possible.”
Gillibrand first hinted at a presidential bid in November 2018 on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” She returned to the show that January with a more concrete declaration: she had formed an exploratory committee for president. In March, Gillibrand announced she was running for president outside Manhattan’s Trump International Hotel after releasing her first campaign ad.

Gillibrand, who attended Dartmouth College and UCLA School of Law, previously served as a congresswoman for New York’s 20th Congressional District from 2007 to 2009. She was a Blue Dog Democrat in the House and initially held more conservative views, notably on immigration and gun reform.
But she moved farther to the left during her time in the Senate, and at the start of her campaign revealed her regret over past positions on immigration. “I was callous to the suffering of families that want to be together,” she told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in January.

Gillibrand has established herself as a vocal critic of Trump, focusing in particular on his record on women’s rights. If elected president, Gillibrand declared in May, she would only nominate judges “who will commit to upholding Roe v. Wade.”
“Women deserve a president who understands the real stakes of this fight for the judiciary,” she wrote in an essay on Medium in May.

Gillibrand voted “no” on the most nominees to Trump’s cabinet and administration of any senator focused her efforts in particular on legislation benefiting women and families, advocacy she carried through to her platform in her presidential campaign. She introduced the Family and Medical Insurance Leave Act, establishing a 12-week partially paid leave for employees who are new parents or need to care for family members with severe health issues, in 2013. In 2019, with Democrats in control of the House, she reintroduced the bill.
Gillibrand also fought for legislative reform addressing sexual assault — in particular, in the military and on college campuses. Her Military Justice Improvement Act, which she introduced in 2013 but has not made it past the Senate, sought to forge policies for determining trial proceedings to address in particular the prosecution of sexual assault. Gillibrand also co-sponsored a bill aiming to reform university response to sexual assault on campus. The bill didn’t make it out of the House or Senate.
Gillibrand drew attention in 2017 for being the first to call for former Minnesota Sen. Al Franken’s (D) resignation after he faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct — a position she continued to defend. In a December 2017 Facebook post, she announced that despite her friendship with the former senator, she had to look at the bigger picture.

“We must not lose sight that this watershed moment is bigger than any one industry, any one party, or any one person,” she wrote at the time.
“I had a choice to make whether to stay silent or not, whether to say, ‘That’s not OK with me,’ and I decided to say that,” she said at an MSNBC town hall in March, citing his many allegations.

Fans are already copping pleas in the comments of her social media pages.
I wish Leslie Jones the very best in all of her future endeavors!

Jessi Combs Dead - 'Fastest Woman on Four Wheels' Dies at 36 in 'Horrific Accident'
Jessi Combs has sadly died. The professional racer passed away at the age of 36 on Tuesday (August 27) after getting into an accident in a jet-powered land-speed car in the Alvord Desert in Oregon while trying to break her own record, local news reported.

A member of her team, Terry Madden, confirmed the news in an Instagram Video on Wednesday (August 28).
“So I don’t know how to say any of this but it all needs said. I have never loved or been loved by anyone as much as this amazing woman @thejessicombs she was truly my unicorn and I enjoyed every single minute that I had with her. Our thoughts are with Jessi‘s loved ones at this difficult time.

Richard Pryor’s Son Possibly Confirms Paul Mooney ‘Violated’ Him, Comedian Denies It
A claim from Richard Pryor’s bodyguard is causing some issues! Rashon Kahn revealed that late comedian Pryor once put out a $1 million hit on Paul Mooney for “violating” his son, Richard Pryor, Jr.
Since then, both Mooney and Richard, Jr. have responded. But they both told different stories.

Richard, Jr. responded to the claims and said, “Whatever happened in my life, it happened when I was younger, way before the 80s. How can any relationship be consensual and I was a teenager? I really have nothing to say at all about the situation.”
He also refused to speak on whether his dad hired someone to kill Mooney for $1 million.
Meanwhile, a rep for Mooney said, “There is no validity to Rashon Kahn’s statement as it relates to Mr. Paul Mooney.”

The rep also referenced a photo of Mooney and Richard, Sr. together that was taken in 1999, pointing out that if there was an issue between the two, they certainly wouldn’t have been in a snapshot with each other. Plus, Richard, Jr. did not name Mooney as his violator in his statement (although he was asked directly about Mooney).

See Richard, Jr.’s comments here.

Lizzo Speaks on her dating Life and love for Caucasian Men!
Lizzo is wary of men who hit on her now that she's famous and paid. She's already made her preferences clear for Caucasian men who look like Liam Hemsworth. But even those ideal men won't have it easy when it comes to dating her.
The "Truth Hurts" singer/rapper admits she "doesn't trust" men who waited until she was rich and famous before approaching her - insisting she's looking for someone who loves her for her, not for her celebrity status.

"No one tried to holler at me before all this s**t, so if you're trying to holler at me now, I don't trust it," the 31-year-old told Entertainment Tonight. "There's gotta be something real about you, or you gotta be fine as hell, either or.
"I definitely understand more and more why famous people be f**king, because it's such an interesting world. I think it's hard to understand what it's like to have a connection with somebody outside of all of this s**t," she said.
Lizzo said sliding into her DMs is not going to cut it. She wants a man who wants her for her intellect.

"Famous people connect with millions of people at a time and everybody is in love with them and everybody wants you and everybody wanna smash and everybody wanna be your best friend, so it's really hard to kind of cipher [sic] through the bulls**t and find the real people."

Chris Brown sends His Daughter Royalty off to kindergarten
Chris Brown is “so proud” of his daughter Royalty as she gets ready for her first day of school.
The “Loyal” hitmaker has posted a sweet message to mark his little girl’s first day.

Alongside a string of heart emojis, he wrote: “My baby’s first day of school! Where has the time gone? SO PROUD OF YOU BOOBOO. (sic)”
Last year, Brown agreed to “significantly” increase his child support payments to Nia Guzman, the mother of his daughter Royalty following months of discussions. The musician reportedly also agreed to buy a house for Nia and to pay over $100,000 of her legal fees.

In September 2018, the “Run It” singer argued Royalty would be “spoilt” if he increased his payments in line with Guzman’s request or gave her the $250,000 in retroactive child support she had also asked for.
He argued in court documents: “Providing a four-year-old with everything she demands could be harmful and is not in her best interest.”
He outlined that he pays $6,000 a month for a private school, covers her medical expenses and pays for a nanny – even though Nia’s mother takes care of Royalty – as well as coughs up $1,770.98 a month in vacations and travel, $1,516.59 for gifts and entertainment, and another $419 for activities.
Brown accused Guzman of using their little girl as a pawn and made it clear in his documents that he was not willing to pay the $21,000 per month she had reportedly requested, but was happy to increase it to $9,813 a month.

He also claimed that the pair only slept together once and she didn’t tell him she was pregnant until Royalty was born, but even then, she allegedly withheld custody from him when he refused to cough up more money in support.

'GMA' Fans Are "Confused" About the New Title of 'Strahan and Sara' After Keke Palmer Joins
Name change aside, people are very excited Keke is now a permanent co-host. Keke Palmer is staying on Good Morning America's third hour program as a permanent co-host alongside Michael Strahan and Sara Haines.
ABC has changed the third hour's name from Strahan and Sara to GMA3: Strahan, Sara, and Keke. The program was previously called GMA Day.
Fans and viewers of the GMA show had mixed reactions to the title change.
Ever since ABC canceled The Chew in favor of a Good Morning America third hour, the network has made several changes to the time slot. First it was Michael Strahan and Sara Haines's GMA Day. Then, ABC decided to tweak the title to Strahan and Sara early this year. Not even a year later, and the talk show has added another host, Keke Palmer and, again, changed the title to GMA 3: Strahan, Sara, and Keke.

As you can probably imagine, all of these name changes are really making viewers' heads spin. There has been such positive news that Keke, who filled in for Sara when she was on maternity leave earlier this summer, will now be a permanent presence on the show. However, fans are having a strong reaction to the show's title.
Some are "confused," while others think GMA3: Strahan, Sara, and Keke is simply too long. "Suggestion — shorten the name from GMA3: Strahan Sara Keke to GMA3: SSK. Less cumbersome," one fan tweeted. "GMA3? I thought it's StrahanSaraKeke now πŸ€·πŸ»," another asked. Even Michael Bratton, who works in the ABC family as a general assignment reporter at WTVG 13 ABC in the Midwest, called it "a branding nightmare."
Of course, as time goes on, we're sure viewers will get used to the title and grow to love it. Also, to be fair to ABC, it sounds like the network did not make the decisions to change the program's name multiple times lightly.
The first change came in January of this year, when the program went from GMA Day to Strahan and Sara. According to Variety, it was a strategic decision, since media buyers see it as ABC's version of NBC's Today show fourth hour, which is named Today with Hoda and Jenna and also features the names of its hosts.
Not surprisingly, when ABC executives decided to bring Keke on as a third co-host, the show had to rebrand again to include her.

Prior to this gig, Keke became the youngest talk show host in TV history at 20 years old when she launched her own program entitled Just Keke on BET in 2014. Reports say that ABC is hoping Keke will attract younger audience members and help broaden the show's appeal.

“It’s been a blast having Keke co-host this summer. She brings a unique and spontaneous energy viewers love,” Rory Albanese, the program’s executive producer, said in a statement. "She’s a multi-talented artist, and I’m thrilled to have her join Michael and Sara every day.”
By the sounds of it, many folks are just as excited as Rory is. "Great addition to the team! Her flair is everything. Best wishes for an amazing season," one said. "I love Keke.. She brought so much extra excitement to the show everyday. Every room gets better [when] she enters," another claimed.

The Third Day is a co-production between HBO and Sky. It is the first original drama to be produced by Sky’s new production house, Sky Studios, in partnership with Plan B Entertainment, Punchdrunk International and writer Kelly (Utopia, Pulling).

Kelly executive produces with Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner for Plan B, Barrett for Punchdrunk International, Munden and Lowthorpe. Adrian Sturges serves as producer. Kit de Waal and Dean O’Loughlin also are writers for the series.

Harris recently wrapped production on the Sony/Screen Gems film, Black and Blue, set for release in October. She is currently in production on Cary Fukunaga’s Bond 25, reprising her role as Eve Moneypenny. Harris is repped by Untitled, The Artists Partnership, WME and Ziffen Brittenham

Naked Suspect Chased By Cops On Foot After Triple Homicide; Baseball Player Blake Bivens’s Wife, 1-year-Old Son Among Victims
A naked suspect, identified as 18-year-old Matthew Thomas Bernard, took police on a wild goose chase while on foot, after the murder of two women and a child.

According to Jeff Passan, a Major League Baseball Insider, the wife, and 1-year-old child of Blake Bivens, who is a pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, were among three people killed in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. His mother-in-law has also been reported to be one of the victims.
A neighbor reportedly found one person dead in the driveway on Tuesday, August 27, and after further investigation, they found another adult and the baby dead inside of the home.

WSET reported that officers responded to a home in Pittsylvania County at around 8 a.m. after a 911 call Tuesday and found three people dead, including two females and a child.
WSET reported that Bernard ran past reporters near a media staging area and attacked a church groundskeeper by putting his hands around his neck.
In the video released, you can see a police officer chasing Bernard down the street after apparently macing him and hitting him with a nightstick with no success of taking him down. At one point Bernard even turns to charge at the officer chasing him.
At around noon Tuesday, Bernard reportedly ran from a wooded area, and law enforcement was able to detain him, according to police.
The Tampa Bay Rays tweeted out about the unfortunate incident, sending their thoughts and prayers to Blake Bivens’ family. Police confirmed to WSET, that Bernard is being treated at a local medical facility. He’s facing three counts of first-degree murder.

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” Nominated at CMA Awards 2019
Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are also up for Musical Event of the Year for their contributions to the hit single
Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road (Remix)” has been nominated for Musical Event of the Year at the 53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards. The song’s producer YoungKio is also up for the award, as are Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, whose “34 Ghosts IV” is sampled on “Old Town Road.”

“Old Town Road (Remix)” will compete against tracks from Maren Morris (“All My Favorite People”), Brooks & Dunn (“Brand New Man”), Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton (“Dive Bar”), and Brantley Gilbert and Lindsay Ell (“What Happens in a Small Town”) in the Music Event of the Year category. Last year’s award went to David Lee Murphy and Kenny Chesney’s “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.”

Check out the full list of this year’s nominees at the Country Music Association’s website. The 2019 CMA Awards air on ABC on Wednesday, November 13 at 8 p.m. Eastern.

“Old Town Road” first gained notoriety earlier this year when it was removed from the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart because, a representative for Billboard said in March, “it does not embrace enough elements of today’s country music to chart in its current version.” Billy Ray Cyrus was subsequently added to the track, and “Old Town Road (Remix)” quickly reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, ultimately setting a new record for most consecutive weeks at the top.

Hurricane Dorian could hit Florida as Category 3 storm on Labor Day weekend
Dorian has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane, carrying 75-mph winds as it neared Puerto Rico and struck the U.S. Virgin Islands on Wednesday.

The National Hurricane Center also warned Florida residents to prepare for an emergency since Dorian could grow into a dangerous Category 3 storm when it reaches the eastern U.S. coast over Labor Day weekend.
Puerto Rico was under a hurricane warning, but forecasters said the island would more likely see tropical storm conditions. In the U.S. Virgin Islands, however, hurricane conditions were ongoing Wednesday afternoon, with the eye of the storm over St. Thomas at 2 p.m, the agency said.

Hurricane conditions are also expected over the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico’s Culebra and Vieques islands.
Dorian’s maximum sustained winds have increased from 50 to 75 mph since Tuesday and the storm was moving northwest at 13 mph, according to the hurricane center.
The agency’s director, Ken Graham, said in a briefing Wednesday that the storm could produce heavy rainfall, life-threatening flash floods and damaging winds over the region in the next couple of days.

As for Florida, landfall is forecast for Monday morning, but tropical storm-force winds could arrive as early as Saturday.
“That’s when you need to have things wrapped up because it’s too dangerous to be outside,” Graham said. “You need to be prepared by then.”
He cautioned, however, that the path of the storm remains unclear. Dorian had been projected to brush past the western side of Puerto Rico and potentially lose strength as it headed toward the U.S.
Hurricane Dorian makes its way across Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands
The U.S. territory, which is still recovering from Hurricane Maria, declared a state of emergency to prepare for Dorian. The storm comes almost two years after the record-breaking Category 5 hurricane devastated the island, killing about 3,000 people and destroying much of the island’s infrastructure.
Forecasters expect as many as 10 inches of rain for parts of Puerto Rico and isolated areas of the Bahamas and the U.S.

The British Virgin Islands issued a curfew starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday to ensure residents are off the roads during the powerful storm.

In Barbados, no major damage or deaths were reported when Dorian passed through earlier this week.
