Billie Eilish Covers Rolling stone Magazine! Ashe Shares Personal Struggle With Self Harming & Surviving Depression!
Billie Eilish was thrust into the public eye at just 14-years-old, & revealed the toll fame has taken on her and her battle with depression in a new cover story for ‘Rolling Stone.’

Billie Eilish, 17, used her latest cover story to get incredibly honest about her mental health struggles, including a history of depression and self-harm. The “Ocean Eyes” singer is the face of Rolling Stone’s August issue and while it celebrates her success, it also sheds light on the singer’s darker days, when she was forced to quit dancing after an injury. “I think that’s when the depression started,” she said. “It sent me down a hole. I went through a whole self-harming phase — we don’t have to go into it. But the gist of it was, I felt like I deserved to be in pain,” she recalled in the new interview.

The honest pop star then proceeded to delve deeper into those memories, and admitted there was a time she was scared to spend time by herself. “Every time I was alone, I would break down and kind of crumble,” she says. “It got to the point where my friend would say, ‘I’m going home, see you,’ and I’d get this feeling in my stomach like a knife being twisted around. I felt unsafe with myself, even for an hour,” she said before once again alluding to her self-harm history. “I don’t trust myself when I’m alone.”
However, Billie admits that she’s in a much better place these days, and says that this has been her best year yet. “I haven’t been depressed in a minute, which is great. Seventeen has probably been the best year of my life. I’ve liked 17,” she says in the interview. And while she often sees fans at shows go through similar battles, she’s now able to offer them the same advice she’s given herself. “Sometimes I see girls at my shows with scars on their arms, and it breaks my heart. I don’t have scars anymore because it was so long ago. But I’ve said to a couple of them, ‘Just be nice to yourself.’ Because I know. I was there,” she explains.

Billie may have risen to fame practically overnight thanks to the success of “Ocean Eyes,” but she’s learning to grapple with fame in a healthier way these days, she admits. “I have a job that doesn’t allow me to break down. I can’t go cry somewhere, I can’t go scream and be mad. I have to work,” she tells the publication, before saying she turned to therapy last year.
As fans know, 2019 has been especially eventful for Billie, who just released a song with her biggest idol, Justin Bieber. The Biebs turned up on the singer’s “Bad Guy” remix on July 11, a long-time dream for the pop star, who has been a fan of Bieber since she was a young girl. It’s no wonder that that Billie said that 17 has been the best year of her life!

#RHOA” NeNe Leakes Lost 12 Pounds Claims: ‘I’m Not Doing Anything Crazy’
NeNe Leakes is in the midst of an impressive slim down! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently revealed she’s lost 12 pounds thanks to a series of changes to her diet, and she’s not done shedding the weight just yet.
“I really want to lose 20 pounds,” the 51-year-old told HollywoodLife earlier this month, noting that the weight loss she’s experienced thus far has meant she’s already gone down a dress size.
Still, the reality star says that because of her height (she’s nearly 5’11”) the dozen pounds she’s shed recently doesn’t look like much. As she put it: “I can carry my weight a lot different than somebody who’s shorter than me, so me losing 12 pounds makes me feel like I’ve lost, like, five.”
As for how she’s managed to slim down so far, NeNe credits her husband, Gregg Leakes, and a series of small yet impactful changes she’s made to her eating regimen — including giving up meat. “We’ve really been trying to do better and eat better and eliminate the junk,” the Bravo personality explained. “I’m not doing anything crazy like doing the elliptical or riding the bike or running.”

Added the former Glee star: “I started being a pescatarian and he was plant-based, so I started there. It did help me and I felt different.”
Since NeNe says she’s not a “big eater,” she used that trait to her advantage. In fact, instead of punctuating the day with a handful of big meals, NeNe prefers to eat several smaller meals. “What I started to do was just have small portions. I feel like I eat about four times a day – four, sometimes five – just nibbling on stuff and I feel really satisfied.”
And even though NeNe knows she has a weakness for snacking, she’s found a way around that habit too. “If I want it so bad, I could eat a little bit and then throw it in the trash can,” she explained. “I always say to myself, ‘I’m not going through the trash can to get it out and eat it,’ so I’d bite it and then I’d throw it in the trash.” Apparently, that tactic allows NeNe to satisfy herself “a little bit” without going overboard and potentially overeating.
While some people might be content with a 12-pound weight loss, NeNe, who said she can’t recall a time when she wore a size 8, has vowed to keep going. “I would love to be an 8,” she declared. “My birthday is December 13. Every year around my birthday I always want to be something. I want to be thin or smaller.”

The I Dream of NeNe alum’s slimming figure comes as she’s shooting season 12 of RHOA.

Jamie Foxx And Katie Holmes Have Split
Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have called it quits. The actor, 51, and actress, 40, have split after six years together, Page Six reports. According to a source, the breakup happened in late May, a few weeks after their first red-carpet appearance at the Met Gala.

Foxx has apparently moved on. On Friday (Aug. 16), the Oscar winner was spotted holding hands with singer-model Sela Vave after leaving Lil Pump’s 19th birthday party at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood.
In June, Vave posted a photo with Foxx on Instagram with a heartfelt note. “I am so grateful to this man!” she wrote. “Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me. #feelingblessed.”
Foxx and Holmes had been together since 2013, about a year after Holmes divorced Tom Cruise. They kept their relationship private, meeting up late night at hotels and sneaking out back entrances to avoid paparazzi.

They appeared together in public for the first time at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala in New York in 2018, and walked a red carpet together for the first time at the Met Gala in May.

It was bound to happen! Billie Eilish's 'Bad Guy' Hits No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, Dethroning Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' After Record 19 Weeks on Top!
Eilish earns her first leader, ending an unprecedented nine-week wait at No. 2.
Billie Eilish earns her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as "Bad Guy" rises from No. 2. The song reigns after spending nine total weeks at the runner-up spot, the most for any title before reaching the summit in the Hot 100's history.
"Bad Guy" additionally claims the honor of conquering the longest-leading Hot 100 all-time, as it halts the 19-week domination of Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.
Let's run down the top 10 of the Hot 100 (dated Aug. 24), which blends all-genre U.S. streaming, radio airplay and digital sales data. All charts will update on Billboard.com tomorrow (Aug. 20).
"Bad Guy," released on Darkroom/Interscope Records and written by Eilish and Finneas O'Connell (her brother), who solely produced it, becomes the 1,087th No. 1 in the Hot 100's 61-year history.

The song rises 4-3 on the Streaming Songs chart, up 10% to 39.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending Aug. 15, according to Nielsen Music, and 7-6 on Digital Song Sales, up 11% to 20,000 sold in the same span; it was aided on the last day of the streaming and sales tracking period by the arrival of a new vertical video, as well as a cassette single available only through Eilish's official website. On the Radio Songs chart, the track drops 3-6, down 3% to 93 million audience impressions in the week ending Aug. 18.
No. 1 after record 9 weeks waiting at No. 2: "Bad Guy" tops the Hot 100 after nine nonconsecutive weeks at No. 2, the most weeks spent at the runner-up spot before leading the list. It passes The Weeknd's "Starboy," Justin Bieber's "Sorry" and OutKast's "The Way You Move" (featuring Sleepy Brown), each of which ruled after eight-week waits at No. 2 before leading at last in 2017, 2016 and 2004, respectively.

Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Cyrus, drops to No. 3 on the Hot 100 after its record 19 weeks at No. 1. Still, it becomes the first single to top Streaming Songs for 20 weeks (53.1 million, down 10%). It rules Digital Song Sales for a 16th week (26,000, down 23%), moving to within one week of the record: Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Bieber, dominated for 17 weeks in 2017. On Radio Songs, "Road" falls 21-28 (34.2 million, down 13%).

#NewJackSwing STAND UP! Teddy Riley Receives Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
The King of New Jack Swing, Teddy Riley recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Woot!

Teddy is a legend in the music industry and has worked with everyone from Bobby Brown to Michael Jackson, while also being a founding member of legendary R&B groups Guy and Blackstreet.
R&B star Tank served as a guest speaker and paid homage to Teddy with a touching intro.
“I want to speak as a 12-year-old kid who was trying to figure out his musical DNA, where he wanted to go and where he wanted to be,” he said. "I put on my father’s headphones from the record player and the album was Guy. I proceeded to be inspired and to understand and to learn what greatness is.”
From the late 80’s, Teddy Riley served as an innovator and trendsetter for R&B music. Beginning his career hanging out in his uncle’s studio, Teddy had New York rappers anxious to rap over his beats by the young age of 14. He went on to work on his craft and make connections in the industry and produced Doug E. Fresh’s “The Show” when he was only 20-years old.
Music industry vet Andre Harrell also made an appearance at the ceremony and spoke highly of Teddy’s impact in the game.

“When I think about Teddy Riley and the impact he has, not only did he create a genre of music, not only did he bring an attitude with that music, not only did he come with the remix to the music, then after all of that, he went and made Michael Jackson Dangerous album, 27 million,” he said
Yes, Teddy worked on THE Dangerous album by the late great Michael Jackson.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Teddy spoke highly of Michael and their relationship.
“Getting with Michael, he showed me how to turn music up,” he recalled. “He’d always say, ‘I want to hurt ’em.’ He always would go, ‘OK Teddy, turn up the snare. I want you to really turn it up. The most important thing is the backgrounds – it’s gotta be loud. That’s what I want people to remember.’
One might think with a resumé so hefty it would give yu room to flex, but he was full of humility and grace during his acceptance speech.
“I love yall all and thank you for being here and thank you for supporting me and supporting the music and receiving it and we got more to go,” he said.
The room was full of love from Teddy’s music colleagues, friends and family, including Teddy’s daughter and "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood" alum, Nia Riley.

It’s amazing to see our legends get their flowers while they can still smell them. Peep more flicks from the ceremony below, including one 13th District councilmember Mitch O'Farrell.
Congrats, Teddy!

Jada Pinkett Smith Says She and Will Wasn't Meant For a 'Conventional Marriage'
Jada Pinkett Smith is getting candid about her marriage to Will Smith.
The 47-year-old actress and talk show host recently explained that she doesn’t think she was meant for a traditional marriage.
“I knew that I was not built for conventional marriage. Even the word ‘wife’: It’s a golden cage, swallow the key. Even before I was married, I was like, ‘That’ll kill me.’ And it damn near did!” Jada told The Guardian.

She added that her thoughts about marriage didn’t have to do with Will, but how married women are viewed and that’s why she wanted to be open on Red Table Talk.
Jada continued, “Will is my life partner and I could not ask for a better one. I adore him, I never want people to think it was Will I didn’t want to marry…But I can assure you that some of the most powerful women in the world feel caged and tied, because of the sacrifices they have to make to be in that position. So I wanted to talk about how we really feel about marriage. How do we really feel about different, unconventional relationships? How do we really feel about raising children? Honestly.”

Make to sure also find out Jada decides where to draw the line on Red Table Talk.

Marsai Martin And Janelle Monae Are ‘Cousins On Cousins On Cousins’
black-ish actress Marsai Martin and actress and singer Janelle Monae are the definitions of Black Girl Magic. But who knew they’re related too? It turns out, the two ladies are cousins!

They actually just met for the first time a few years ago, and they’ve quickly become friends and family.
Martin said in an interview that she knew she and Monae were related and was happy when they two met in person after admiring her from afar.

“I admire so many things about Janelle. My family members would always tell me how we were related, so I was excited when we finally got to meet and say hello in person.” In terms of style, Martin says she often takes a cue from Monáe’s avant-garde aesthetic. “She’s so true to herself with everything that she puts on. And she can also pull off things that no one else can, like her most recent Met Gala look. She’s definitely a big inspiration for me.”

Monae and Martin had an adorable chat with each other too. Martin pointed out that they met at a Golden Globes party a while ago.
“I was so eager to say hello because, as it turns out, we’re related.”
Monae added that the inspiration is mutual.
“Yes, my love! We’re cousins on cousins on cousins. You were with your mom, and she was naming members of my family, and I was like, “Oh my goodness!” I don’t meet many people who know about my small community in Kansas City, Kan. It was the best news because I’m such a fan of you and your role on Black-ish.”

Martin responded,“Well, I admire so much about you. I love that you always stay authentic with your style. On the red carpet, you’re always in something that is totally different from everybody else.”
It looks like talent runs in the family!

The estranged wife of Carmelo Anthony wrote in her caption: 'Love yourself from the inside out ~Dad.'

Before heading off on the dream vacation, La La modeled a few swimsuits.

Logic Reveals He’s Expecting a Baby Boy in Freestyle Rap ‘No Pressure’
Logic is about to be a dad, and he’s letting the world know about it.
The rapper, 29, announced that he’s expecting his first child in a video for his newly released freestyle rap, “No Pressure.” In the song, Logic, whose real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, raps about his negative opinions of the music industry. At the end of the video, which was posted on his YouTube channel on Monday, August 19, Logic reveals that he has a baby boy on the way.
“Surprise! It’s a little baby boy, f–k TMZ they can’t get the scoop on that shit,” he raps.

The lyric references a 2018 TMZ report that broke the news that the musician and his wife of two years, Jessica Andrea, had split. The article came out before the rapper could confirm the news himself.

Though Logic didn’t say who the mother of his child is, the two-time Grammy nominee is reportedly married to designer Brittney Noell. TMZ reported in July 2019 that the couple took out a marriage license a month after Noell was spotted with what looked like an engagement ring in a friend’s Instagram post.
Moms Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and More Clap Back at the Parenting Police
Along with the baby reveal, Logic also teased a follow-up to his debut 2014 album Under Pressure.

“On this Under Pressure sequel we not takin’ it back. We keepin’ it pushin’. People scared of change, but you’ll find me deep in a cushion,” he raps on “No Pressure.”
The song also saw the Maryland native criticizing the record industry for taking advantage of artists. In the video, Logic wears a T-shirt with the logo for BobbyBoy Records, the music label he started in early 2019.

“Searching for love in the industry you’ll be let down,” he raps. “They don’t love you until you’re dead and then they call you profound.”

Felony Battery Charges Dropped Against Chris Brown for Alleged Attack in Tampa
Felony charges against Chris Brown were dropped on Monday (Aug. 19), one year after the singer was arrested following a concert in West Palm Beach, Florida, for an outstanding felony battery charge related to an alleged attack at a nightclub in Tampa in 2017. A courthouse spokesperson told Billboard that the case was dismissed by intervention program.
The singer was accused of punching the club’s photographer, who was reportedly taking pictures of Brown after he’d been told not to. The photographer suffered a split lip, and later went to the hospital and pressed charges.

This is not the only charge Brown has received. In January, he was faced with an aggravated rape allegation from a French woman. Days after he was arrested in Paris, he filed a defamation lawsuit against her.

He also failed to show up at the formal meeting with the victim (along with the other two suspects). After that, her lawyer stated that the singer “has thumbed his nose at and shown disrespect for the French legal system" and that his “failure to appear today is very unfair to my client, but I assure him that my client will not be deterred from seeking justice.”

#RIP: Katreese Barnes, SNL musician and Lonely Island collaborator, has died
Katreese Barnes, a former musical director of Saturday Night Live, has passed away. She was 56. Barnes's brother, Jerry Barnes, told the New York Times that his sister had lost a decades-long battle with breast cancer.
Barnes and her brother released three albums in the 1980s as the R&B duo Juicy. She was hired as pianist on SNL in 2001 before working her way to the role of musical director. During her tenure on the show Barnes won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics twice, first in 2007 for The Lonely Island's "Dick in a Box" and again in 2011 for the “I’m Not Gonna Sing Tonight” musical monologue delivered by Justin Timberlake.

SNL writers including John Mulaney and Seth Meyers have paid tribute to Barnes following news of her death. “Katreese was great,” Meyers tweeted. “Sketch writers, many with no rhythm and terrible voices, would come to her with song ideas and she would turn them into gold.”

Mulaney, meanwhile, wrote on Instagram that Barnes would "write beautiful and hilarious songs out of my tone deaf warbling of lyrics. She was patient and funny and a musical powerhouse."

Proud Boys Maxwell Hare, John Kinsman convicted for UES brawl with ANTIFA
Two members of the right-wing Proud Boys group were convicted Monday for brawling with leftist antifa members in Manhattan last year.
A jury found John Kinsman and Maxwell Hare guilty of attempted gang assault, attempted assault and riot stemming from the confrontation near the Metropolitan Republican Club following a speech by former Proud Boys leader Gavin McInnes in October 2018.
Both men face up to 15 years in prison and will remain free until their sentencing.

Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance Jr. hailed the convictions as a blow against the rise of extremism and “mob violence.”
“As extremism rises in America, a Manhattan jury has declared in one voice that New Yorkers will not tolerate mob violence in our backyard,” he said in a statement.
Before the 2018 skirmish, about 60 protesters, including members of antifa, massed behind barricades to jeer McInnes’ address.
To avoid a confrontation, cops had the Proud Boys head west on 83rd Street then south on Park Avenue, while they shepherded their opponents in the other direction.
As the Proud Boys approached East 82nd Street, they saw six suspected antifa protesters heading toward them and a brawl erupted.

Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass argued at trial that the Proud Boys clearly instigated the combat.
Kinsman and Hare testified that they felt threatened and acted in self-defense.
A total of 10 Proud Boys were charged in connection with the incident. Seven of them took plea deals, and one is still awaiting trial.
The victims in the case were never identified, and antifa refused to cooperate with the investigation.

“These defendants transformed a quiet, residential street into the site of a battle-royale, kicking and beating four individuals in a brutal act of political violence,” Vance said.
Kinsman and Hare declined to comment as they left the courthouse.
