#RHoA: Fans Dub NeNe Leakes a ‘Flip Flopping B!tch’ for Calling for Phaedra Parks’ Return to RHoA
We told you yesterday that Reality star NeNe Leakes thinks it’s about time former castmate Phaedra Parks makes her return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and some fans were in agreeance.
Leakes made the plea in an Instagram post this week, sharing a photo of she and Parks at her birthday bash over the weekend. The two smiled side-by-side as Leakes placed an arm over her old friend’s shoulder.

“I gotta lot of gifts but this 1 takes the cake @phaedraparks,” she captioned the photo, followed by hashtags #fixitjesus #RHOA #comeonbackP #phaephae and #bdayturnup.
Parks, an attorney to the celebrities, was booted off the show last year after she was caught spreading damaging rumors about co-star Kandi Burrus and her husband Todd Tucker, alleging the couple had planned to drug and kidnap castmate Porsha Williams and take her to their so called “sex dungeon.”
Parks denied cooking up the rumors, but was eventually outed after Williams inadvertently spilled the beans during the reality show’s Season 9 reunion.

Leakes seems to think Parks deserves a second chance, however, It wasn’t long before fans turned their attention to Leakes, who they accused of  being “phony” and playing both sides of the fence.

“You Flip Flopping B!tch” one fan wrote
“Girl you so phony, such a flip flopper,” one critic wrote.
“Yes neneleakes is a flip flopper!,” another chimed in. “As soon as Phaedra comes back, she will act like she don’t know her again.”

“Totally agree!! Nene is a big flip flopper!!,” one woman wrote. “Phaedra is the devil!! Lies so slanderous can not be tolerated!!”

Well now have your say! Is NeNe a Flip Flopper?

#HipHopNews: Kendrick Lamar Says He’s Not Working On A New Album
Fans may have to hold out for a new Kendrick Lamar album.

In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 31-year old Lamar claims he is not currently working on a new album. He refused to elaborate, only saying that he’s constantly working. However, someone in his camp did mention that Kendrick was headed to the studio immediately after wrapping the interview.

The interview was part of a promotional obligation for Black Panther: The Album, which earned Kendrick seven Grammy nominations including Album of the Year, Record of the Year (“All the Stars”), Song of the Year (“All the Stars”), Best Rap/Sung Performance (“All the Stars”), and Best Song Written for Visual Media (“All the Stars”).

In response to all the accolades, Kendrick was humbled. “It feels great. I’m not only representing myself, but I’m representing my people … people I’ve been familiar with since I was born,” said the Compton-bred rapper.

If he wins on Grammy night, the highly-decorated MC will add to his already 12 wins. “I don’t know what I’ll say if I win,” he said. “A lot of different emotions will be running through me, and I usually just say what I’m inspired to say at that moment … what comes off the chest. It’s just a great thing to know that these bodies of work come from a simple thought and you put that simple thought down on wax, and then you give it to the people and it goes from there.”

Miss Philippines Catriona Gray Crowned Miss Universe 2018. Meanwhile Miss Spain is first transgender contestant in Miss Universe competition's history!
Catriona Gray, the 24-year-old reigning Miss Philippines, brought home the title Sunday at the 67th Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok. She beat out 93 other contestants including Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green, who was the runner-up, and second runner-up Miss Venezuela Sthefany Gutierrez.

Gray explained in a Facebook post that when she was 13 years old, her mother said she’d dreamt the pageant queen had won the Miss Universe pageant in a red dress.

“At that time I thought nothing of it, and today my mother’s dream came true,” Gray wrote in a post following her win.“Philippines 🇵🇭 what an amazing honor it has been to carry your name across my chest and to embody you in all aspects. I may now carry the sash of Miss Universe, but I’ll forever be your Miss Philippines.”
Gray’s win marks the fourth time a Miss Philippines has won the competition. Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers made it just short of the finals. Summers had stirred up controversy after posting a video that featured her mocking Miss Vietnam H’Hen Nie for not speaking English. Miss Spain Angela Ponce, the first trans contestant in the pageant’s history, did not make the competition’s Top 20. While Miss Thailand Sophida Kanchanarin made the Top 10, she failed to advance further.

Gray grew up in Australia and is a singer and model who earned a degree in music theory from Boston’s Berklee School of Music. Her win earned praise from Filipinos across communities, as well as the controversial president of the Philippines himself, Rodrigo Duterte.

“Ms. Gray truly made the entire Philippines proud when she sashayed on the global stage and showcased the genuine qualities defining a Filipina beauty: confidence, grace, intelligence and strength in the face of tough challenges,” Duterte said in a statement. “In her success, Miss Philippines has shown to the world that women in our country have the ability to turn dreams into reality through passion, diligence, determination and hard work.”

Filipinos across the internet also expressed their pride. Meanwhile, Miss Spain is first transgender contestant in Miss Universe competition's history

There was much attention was on Miss Spain, Angela Ponce, the first transgender contestant in the competition's history.
"I'm competing because it's what I've wanted to do since I was a little girl," Ponce told Time ahead of the competition. "I'm showing that trans women can be whatever they want to be: A teacher, a mother, a doctor, a politician and even Miss Universe."

Unfortunately for Ponce, however, she did not make the top 20.

Tiffany Haddish’s Ex-Husband Wins First Round In $1 Million Defamation Lawsuit
Back in May it was reported, William Stewart is reportedly suing for libel, slander and defamation and asking for more than $1 million in damages. In addition to Haddish, Stewart has named “Unicorn” co-author Tucker Max and publisher Simon Schuster as co-defendants.

Stewart claims he reached out to Haddish personally, before making any public statements in an effort to resolve the “harmful and defamatory assertions.” He claims Haddish responded cryptically, saying, “Be patient your blessings are coming” and “Start to think positive so positive things can come your way. Because your blessings are waiting on you.”
Well now Tiffany Haddish’s ex-husband scored a victory in his six-figure defamation lawsuit against the comedian and the co-creators of her New York Time Bestselling book.

According to theJasmineBRAND, Stewart won the first round of hearings, as the court ruled against Haddish and her co-defendants who tried to block his case by stating he failed to properly inform them of the defaming issue before filing his complaint. The judge says Stuart can pursue punitive damages against the defendants.

Stewart’s legal team issued a statement, blaming Haddish’s publisher and co-author for stirring up this legal drama.
“I know that everyone is focused on defendant Haddish, but she didn’t do this alone. The publisher, Simon & Schuster has a questionable history – they, among other things, enabled Milos Yiannopoulos after he was banned from twitter for racist hate speech against comedian Leslie Jones. Simon & Schuster’s parent company is CBS who continues to settle lawsuits for a pattern of bad behavior by executives.

“Haddish’s ghost writer is Tucker Max and his entire writing career was built on disgusting attempts to exploit, belittle and objectify women without regard. This is not just about Haddish. The defendants have disregarded principle, decency, or accuracy when there is an opportunity to profit. William Stewart is just their latest victim. And they never expected him to have the courage to take on such powerful interests.”

Pete Davidson Refuses To See Ariana Grande After She Rushed to Him Following Suicidal Post
Over the weekend, Kanye West unleashed a series of tweets about Drake, in which he accused the Canadian rapper of repeatedly attacking people with mental health issues. While many dismissed West’s Twitter rant as just another Twitter rant, including Ariana Grande– who used the opportunity to plug her new song with Miley Cyrus- others, like Pete Davidson came to the rapper’s defense and commended him for speaking out about the issue.

“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health,” Davidson wrote. “I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”
However, Davidson’s support was quickly met with criticisms as fans called him a hypocrite for his own jokes about West’s mental health, which premiered on “SNL” last October. After that, Davidson posted an ominous message that led many to believe the comedian was suicidal.

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” Davidson wrote. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you, but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”

The post prompted waves of support and kind words and even encouraged Davidson’s ex, Grande, to rush to his side in this hard time. But, according to TMZ, Davidson refused to see her.
Sources close to the comedian and NBC say Grande reached out to a few friends after Davidson’s message and rushed to the NBC building to see him. But, the comedian reportedly told security to keep her away after he received the heads-up of her arrival.

The refusal comes after the comedian faced widespread hate and criticisms after his public breakup with Grande in the wake of Mac Miller’s death.

Arizona Same-Sex Couple To Create New Same-Sex Wedding Barbie Set With Mattel
An Arizona same-sex couple is teaming with Mattel after the two inspired the company with their own Barbie wedding set with two Ken dolls.
According to 12 News, Matt Jacobi and Nick Caprio met over a decade ago in an Irish pub in Chicago. In 2015, the two moved from Los Angeles to Scottsdale to be closer to family, and now, next year the same-sex couple will become the first to get married at The Scottsdale Resort.

But, as it turns out, the wedding isn’t the only thing the couple has to look forward to in the new year. In fact, according to the publication, the couple has been tapped to fly out to Los Angeles to create a same-sex couple marriage doll set, inspired by their own version.

It all started when the couple took to Walmart and Target to find a Barbie wedding set for their 8-year-old niece’s birthday after the two had asked her to be a flower girl in their wedding. “We found this awesome wedding set from Mattel and it was almost perfect,” Jacobi said, referencing the heterosexual relationship between Barbie and Ken.
“So we bought another Ken, who was in a tux, and took out Barbie and added another Ken in, tied it together and gave Natalie the gift and her reaction was priceless,” he added.

The two then posted the picture of their new and improved set, with a message to Mattel that read, “I hope this inspires you.” Days later, Mattel reached out with their offer.

“For them to reach out and take social media shows the power of your voice on social media,” Caprio said. “It was great to be able to contact them and we’re really excited to see where this is going and work with them.”
“We just want every family to be reflected within toys,” Caprio said. “They’re a big part of our culture and it’s something that if kids are always exposed to this and they can see their own family, it gets rid of the question of what is this and this explanation and long story you have to go through, because it’s something that will just be what it is and it’s just people that are in love.”

“Our intent and our goal is to just spread some goodness into the world,” Jacobi added. “We hope that other companies follow suit and continue to think not just of the social norm but of every family.”

Channing Dungey Joins Netflix As VP Original Content!
Following weeks of speculation, outgoing ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey is officially joining Netflix in a senior leadership role as Vice President of Original Content, reporting to Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content. She is expected to start in February.

RelatedNetflix Impact On Movie Theaters Is Negligible, Concludes A Study Commissioned By Movie...
In this newly created role, Dungey will partner with Holland in setting strategy for Netflix’s original series and will oversee a large and key portion of the slate, including some of the company’s overall deals with such top writer-producers as Shonda Rhimes, Jenji Kohan, Kenya Barris, Steven DeKnight, Marti Noxon, as well as Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions which has a deal there.

During her ABC tenure, Dungey worked closely with Rhimes and Barris who both came to Netflix after lengthy stints at ABC Studios. While at ABC Studios prior to that, Dungey also worked with Noxon.

“Channing is a creative force whose taste and talent have earned her the admiration of her peers across the industry. She’s a risk taker and ground-breaker and talent love working with her. I couldn’t be happier to welcome her to Netflix,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix chief content officer.

It was less than eight years ago that Netflix signaled an entrance into the original programming space with a mega deal for House of Cards. The company’s original scripted series portfolio has grown exponentially since, to 100 or so home-grown shows. (Netflix does not provide broken down numbers but pegged all of its 2018 original series to 700, which includes co-productions, foreign-language series and acquisitions that are Netflix originals in some parts of the world.) That has led to an expansion of Netflix’s series executive team. Holland’s group is currently the largest group of content executives at Netflix, with Dungey set to assume half of the team. That includes the programming executives who have worked on such series as House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Narcos and The Crown.
“We’re delighted to be adding Channing’s expertise, leadership and deep experience to Netflix, and I look forward to partnering with her as we continue to grow and evolve our global network. I have been a fan of her character and approach from our early days as executives” said Holland.

Netflix has been aggressive in building its original content empire. The company, which spent $8 billion – $13 billion on original programming in 2018, has relied on debt financing to support the growth, with three new rounds in the past 14 months. Netflix has used its war chest also to poach top talent, including Ryan Murphy as well as Rhimes and Barris who will now reunite with Dungey.

“I’m drawn to the forward-thinking, risk-taking and creative culture at Netflix, and the deeply talented people there, especially Ted and Cindy, with whom I’m excited to partner on setting the strategy for original content,” Dungey said. “Given that ABC, the place I’ve called home for nearly 15 years, represents the gold standard of traditional broadcast, it feels like the perfect next step for me to join Netflix, the unparalleled leader in streaming. I’m invigorated by the challenges ahead and the opportunity to forge new relationships, and excited for the very welcome reunion with incredible talent.”
There had been speculation even before Dungey announced a month ago that she was stepping down from her post as ABC Entertainment president , that she might be going to Netflix, possibly working with Rhimes and the Obamas.

Over the past few weeks, the chatter about a Netflix move intensified, with observers calling her a great choice to join the Netflix executive ranks with her strong Hollywood relationships and the respect she has from her peers.

Dungey became the first black executive to run one of the Big Four networks’ entertainment divisions when she was named ABC Entertainment president in February 2016. She added promising new series such as The Good Doctor and Single Parents to the ABC schedule and shepherded the return of American Idol during her tenure. She also was credited as being a driving force behind the network’s swift decision to cancel its top series, Roseanne, following star Roseanne Barr’s racist tweet. ABC was the most social network on air under her leadership.
Prior to that, Dungey ran ABC’s drama development, overseeing the development of such shows as Shondaland’s Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder, and Once Upon a Time.

Dungey joined the network’s drama development department in June 2009. Prior to that, she oversaw drama programming for ABC Studios, where her slate included Shondaland’s Private Practice for ABC, and CBS’s long-running drama Criminal Minds, among others.

Dungey’s career in entertainment has spanned both television and film. She partnered with Pamela Post, and formed Dexterity Pictures, a production partnership focused on making both studio and independent films, as well as developing TV series. She also served as president of Material, a film production company with a first-look deal at Warner Bros. Prior to that, she served for five years as a Warner Bros. production executive, helping to develop and supervise a diverse range of commercially successful, critically acclaimed films.

Nicki Minaj blocks Meek Mill on social media
On Sunday, during a rousing round of #AskMeek, rapper Meek Mill was asked for his thoughts on Minaj’s new romance with felon Kenneth Petty.
“I don’t feel nothing,” he tweeted to the eager fan. “And I don’t know that man to judge him.”

However, when Mill, 31, went to go check out the details for himself, he got a rude awakening.
“I went to check him out on her page and found I was blocked,” he added.
It seems Mill will have to catch all the details of Petty on the news.

Petty, 40, is a registered sex offender in New York state for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in the ‘90s. Petty was also a teenager at the time. In 2006, he pleaded guilty to manslaughter and received a 10-year prison sentence.
In response to all the backlash over dating Petty, Minaj, 36, lashed out on social media, saying, “Y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life.”

Russia President Putin calls rap ‘degradation’ He wants to control Black music!
Hip-hop music has been under constant scrutiny, attack and attempted censorship almost from its origins. At the height of the popularity of “gangsta” rap music in the 1990s, as an example, the genre was even the subject of high-profile hearings on Capitol Hill.
Now, according to the New York Post, Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly will begin to control and steer the ever-popular and growing hip-hop music genre in his country.

The Post details accounts of multiple rap concert cancellations without explanation by Russian authorities. Russian-born artists are reportedly being harassed, threatened with fines and even jailed for trying to perform rap music throughout the republic. Putin hosted a round table discussion this past week where he proclaimed the power of hip-hop and how it can heavily influence the people of Russia, particularly from a protest standpoint.

Speaking at a meeting of the Presidential Council for Culture and Art in St. Petersburg, Putin said handling rap music should be done “with great caution.”

“What I really agree with is that if it is impossible to stop it, it should be taken over and navigated in a particular way,” Putin said, according to the Post.
Putin believes that, if unchecked, rap will contaminate Russian culture.

“Rap is based on three pillars: sex, drugs and protest,” Putin said during his address. Putin stopped short of ordering the total censorship of rap artists in Russia as he believes this would turn the rap artists into martyrs and subsequently make them even more popular.
Putin was referencing Russian rappers like Husky after multiple concerts of his were canceled. In December, authorities in the southern city of Krasnodar stopped his performance and classified it as “extremism.” Husky was also tossed in jail for 12 days after performing for fans on the roof of a car, the Post reports.

Putin is particularly concerned about what he terms as drug-themed rap, which he believes will lead to the “degradation of the nation.” Russia is reportedly handing out grants to “help” rappers promote their careers. There is also a new competition to make the best rap song about traveling in Russia, the Post reports.

What do you make of Putin’s pronouncements?

The Word is ‘The Real’ co-hosts feuding over salaries!
The camaraderie you see on the popular daytime talk show “The Real”  apparently is all a facade. The four co-hosts reportedly are clashing behind the scenes over radical pay discrepancies.

AARP Give more than just gifts.
According to the Daily Mail, co-hosts Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai are unhappy with Tamera Mowry-Housley after learning she has the highest-paid salary on the show, with Loni Love coming in second on the compensation list. More specifically, Bailon and Mai are only being paid a third of the other women’s salaries, the media outlet reports.

The publication did not list actual salaries for the four women.
Exacerbating the relationship is the fact that Mowry-Housley and Love refuse to go to bat for Bailon and Mai in their efforts to negotiate a pay raise, the Daily Mail said. And once the show became critically acclaimed as well as an award winner, Bailon and Mai felt they had the leverage to speak up without their co-stars.

“Once they won the Emmy [in April], Jeannie and Adrienne started complaining about how they knew they weren’t being compensated the same as their fellow co-hosts Loni and Tamera. They were even talking about staging a walkout,” the source told Daily Mail.

“Initially, they wanted both Tamera and Loni to support them in their quest to get better deals on the show, but when both ladies declined, that definitely meant that lines were drawn,” the source added.
According to the snitch, Mai and Bailon want to “address the pay discrepancy between them,” with Mai and Bailon even started mocking their co-hosts as ‘The Have and The Have Nots,” a reference to the Tyler Perry show on OWN.

Complicating matters further is the fact that the show improved by 13 percent when Mowry-Housley took a couple of weeks off in November, its highest growth mark in more than a year. Mowry-Housley took the time away to grieve when her 18-year-old niece was tragically gunned down by a mass shooter at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California.

“Of the four hosts, Tamera has the highest salary. And while she was gone from the show, the ratings jumped,” the source said. “Both girls kept saying, ‘How’s she making the most money and the show is doing better without her being here?’ That gave them the leverage they needed to justify their ask for more money.”

“The Real” has been renewed through the 2020 season.

Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus & More Honor Late Hair Stylist Oribe Canales
Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Campbell and more have paid tribute to celebrity hairstylist Oribe Canales, who has passed away at the age of 62.

As per the New York Post, the cause of death for the Cuban-born hairdresser is currently unknown. However, Canales' legacy will forever be cemented amongst his clients and the industry after work in every major fashion magazine, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, W, Marie Claire and many more. He regularly flew to Milan to work on Gianni Versace's fashion shows and is credited as for being one of the innovators of the early '90s punk movement in fashion. Canales also had his own line of products called Oribe Hair Care and remained a staple in the backstage rounds at fashion shows and red carpets.

Oribe's close-ties with Lopez was detailed in his official biography, which appears on his official website. "In 1997, Oribe's focus turned from fashion to the new faces of fashion: celebrities. This shift came via a new face to the music scene, Jennifer Lopez, who called for Oribe after a childhood spent reading his name in fashion magazines," the excerpt read. "He accompanied the rising star to Miami to shoot the cover of her first album, On the 6, for which he lightened her hair and pulled it tightly over a wig into a long ponytail. It was a done deal -- Sean Combs, her boyfriend at the time, told Lopez not to let Oribe get away, and she didn’t. Oribe worked with her during her meteoric rise (when he created the JLo persona with her) and at the heights of her millennial celebrity."

Among some of his other star-studded clients include Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Meghan Markle, Emily Ratajkowski, Karen Elson, Cindy Crawford and more.

Statue Of Liberty Climber Convicted On Several Charges, Faces Jail Time
NEW YORK – The woman who led police on a chase up the Statue of Liberty this summer said she wanted to make a political statement. Now, she’s facing over a year in prison for the stunt.

Therese “Pat” Okoumou was convicted of several misdemeanor charges, including trespassing, by Judge Gabriel Gorenstein in New York Monday.
Okoumou was arrested on the Fourth of July after climbing the Statue of Liberty. The activist said that she climbed the landmark to protest the practice of children being separated from their parents at the U.S.- Mexican border earlier this year.

The climb forced the island’s evacuation and kept police busy for hours.
In a statement, U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said expressed his satisfaction with the court’s decision to hold Okoumou accountable for the dangerous stunt.

Berman said the activist “endangered herself and the NYPD and U.S. Park Police officers who rescued and apprehended her. The act of climbing the base of the Statue of Liberty went well beyond peaceable protest, a right we certainly respect. It was a crime that put people at grave risk. We commend Judge Gorenstein’s decision to hold Therese Okoumou accountable for her dangerous and reckless conduct.”

Okoumou faces up to six months behind bars on each count she was convicted on Monday. She faces a maximum prison term of 18 months.

Tyrese Lynch surrenders in murder of mother Isis Williams near newborn daughter in Philadelphia!
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The man being sought for the murder of a mother in front of her baby early Friday morning has surrendered to police.
Tyrese Lynch, 32, surrendered to Philadelphia police around noon Monday for the killing of Isis Williams.
Authorities found Williams dead around 4 a.m. Friday inside a home on the 6300 block of North Woodstock Street in Logan.
Police believe Lynch shot Williams in the head with her five-day-old daughter in a crib just steps away.

Williams' aunt, Aspara Agyeman, said Isis was on the phone with her mother when gunshots rang out.
"Her mother heard the shots," said Agyeman.
The mother of three has just given birth just days before. The baby girl, now one-week-old, is staying with Isis' aunt.

"Even though I may be the one that ends up raising her, she's gonna know that Isis is her mother and that she was loved," she said.
On a GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral costs, a family member says the relationship between Williams and Lynch was abusive.
Investigators said there were signs of a struggle in the home, furniture was overturned, but the baby was not injured.
Neighbors said they heard an argument before Williams was found.
"He was calling her derogatory names," said neighbor Melvina Hall. "It was very loud."

A vigil is planned for Monday evening to remember Isis Williams in her neighborhood.
