Paris Jackson for Tings Magazine - Issue #2
She's carved out her own successful career in the fashion, acting and music industries.
And Paris Jackson embraced her style savvy ways as she graced the cover for Issue 2 of pop culture magazine Tings London.
The daughter of Michael Jackson, 20, showcased her series of intricate tattoos while posing up a storm for the stunning shoot, shot by Giselle Bundchen's long time collaborator Nino Munoz.

For one image, the Gringo actress mixed edgy chic with comfort as she slipped into an oversized red sweatshirt, embellished with navy stripes throughout.
The honey-blonde star maintained her signature fashion sense as she accessorised with a selection of quirky wooden necklaces, beaded bracelets and gold rings, which worked well with her colourful inkings.

For the shoot, styled by Rushka Bergman, Paris styled her tresses into loose waves and intensified the beauty of her bright blue eyes with metallic brown eyeshadow.
'Using her platform for good, she is an avid philanthropist that embodies what 2019 should look like diverse, compassionate and inclusive. She was a true honor to work with for our ISSUE 02 cover story', they added.
Meanwhile, Paris has followed in her late father's footsteps and has started to pursue a career in music in musical duo The Soundflowers with her rumoured boyfriend Gabriel Glenn.
They formed the group in June, and he plays the acoustic guitar while she plays ukulele, with both on singing duties.
Although Gabriel goes by his own name in the band, Paris decided to use the moniker PK Dragonfly for her musical debut.

The model has previously been seen supporting Gabriel as he performed at the famed Hollywood venue on Sunset Boulevard.
She wasn't just there as a fan either, she served as a roadie, helping the band haul gear before and after the performance.

Issue 2 of Tings London is available from December 15.

#RHoA: Former 'RHOA' star Kenya Moore shares first photo of daughter Brooklyn Doris
More than a month after welcoming her first child, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore is sharing Brooklyn Doris Daly with the world.
Moore, 47, shared the first photo of her “miracle baby” in the latest issue of People, which she also posted on her Instagram page.

“I finally have everything I’ve dreamed of,” Moore told the magazine. “She’s so perfect in so many ways. This little angel … so beautiful. I feel so blessed. It’s all been so worth it.”
The journey to get pregnant was not an easy one for the former Miss USA, who married New York restaurateur Marc Daly, 48, in St. Lucia in June 2017.

“There were so many scares along the way,” Moore said. “We held our breath every time we went to the doctor.”

With Moore being over the age of 40, her pregnancy was high-risk. People reported that doctors worried she had a false pregnancy when they couldn’t see the baby’s skeleton at the first ultrasound. She had pre-eclampsia in late October, which caused her to have extreme fluid retention and high blood pressure. Her condition worsened, and she was induced for labor.
“They told me, ‘Your condition is worsening so get your bags and go straight to the hospital, you’re delivering today,’” Moore said.
Daly flew in from New York and was by his wife’s side. Twelve hours after being hospitalized, Brooklyn was delivered via cesarean section, but the process took three hours.
“They couldn’t get the baby out,” she said. “There were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically, too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”

Though her daughter was born six weeks premature, Moore says it was all worth it.
“Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, but she’s such a tough baby; so determined,” Moore said. “And every step of the way, she kept surviving and getting stronger. She’s my miracle baby. There’s no other way to describe it. She’s my miracle baby.”

Brooklyn is the couple’s first child together

#HipHopNews: XXXTENTACION’s ‘Skins’ Album Set To Hit No. 1 On Billboard 200
It seems as though XXXTentacion's posthumous album, Skins, will spend one of the last weeks of 2018 at the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

On Tuesday (Dec. 12), Hits Daily Double reports that the 10-track LP, which only features Kanye West, has an estimated 150,000 to160,000 streaming equivalent album sales with 50,000 to 55,000 of that sum consisting of pure album sales. The album is estimated to  surpasse Meek Mill's Championships album second week on the chart, with 84,000 to 89,000 in SEA, and 4,000 to 6,000 in album sales. X's posthumous project will also surpass Gucci Mane's Evil Genius, which will hit the chart with 54,000 to 59,000 SEA and 5,000 to 7,000 pure album sales.

The amazing news about the late 2017 XXL Freshman's album comes shortly after the full tracklist for the Spider-Man: Into The SpiderVerse soundtrack leaked, which revealed that the Florida rapper will appear on a song with Lil Wayne and Ty Dolla $ign. After Weezy performed his collaboration with the slain rapper in Miami for the first time, he first broke the news about the soundtrack on Twitter by previewing his song "Scared Of The Dark" featuring Ty "and a surprise guest!"
"My song 'Scared Of The Dark' with @tydollasign (and a surprise special guest!) is on the Spider-Man: Into The @SpiderVerse Soundtrack. Pre-save it here & enter to win 2 tickets to see the movie," Wayne wrote on Twitter.

Congratulations to XXXTentacion's family and the EMPIRE team.

Michael Cohen Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison Following Plea That Implicated Trump
A federal judge sentenced Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen to three years in prison on Wednesday following Cohen's guilty pleas to a number of political and finance crimes.
Those three years would be followed by three years of supervised release, and Cohen also is subject to forfeiture of $500,000, restitution of $1.4 million and a $50,000 fine.
Cohen had asked for leniency. He said in court, however, that he accepts responsibility for his actions.
"This may be hard to believe, but today is one of the most meaningful days of my life," Cohen said. "Today I get my freedom back."
He said he had been "living in personal and mental incarceration ever since I agreed to work for a business mogul." It was "blind loyalty to this man," he said, "that led me to choose a path of darkness, not light."

Cohen said the president had been right to call him "weak," but not for the reasons that Trump believes.

"I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds," Cohen said. "I was weak for not having the strength to refuse his demands. Owning this mistake will free me to be once more the person I am."
Also Wednesday, prosecutors dropped a potential bombshell in a press release about the sentencing. They said they have reached a non-prosecution agreement with tabloid publisher American Media, Inc., for its role in one of the campaign finance violations at issue in Cohen's case. AMI also appears to have agreed to cooperate with investigators going forward.

Feds asked for "substantial" punishment. Prosecutors had asked Judge William Pauley to give Cohen some consideration for the information that he has provided but argued that Cohen nonetheless still deserved a "substantial prison term."
Pauley appeared to agree, saying Cohen had admitted "a veritable smorgasbord of fraudulent conduct. Each crime involved deception, and each crime appears to have been motivated by personal greed and ambition."

The judge noted that Cohen had a comfortable childhood and loving parents.
"But somewhere along the way, Mr. Cohen appeared to lose his moral compass," Pauley said. "As a lawyer, Mr. Cohen should have known better."
Cohen's sentence marked the latest drop in a precipitous fall from the elbow of the powerful man whom Cohen served for years, sometimes as a brutal but fiercely loyal fixer.
Now, Trump's former lawyer has broken completely with his onetime boss and handed the president's political opponents new weapons that could have serious implications for Trump.
First, Cohen told authorities that Trump had directed him to arrange payments to two women ahead of Election Day in 2016 to keep them quiet about sexual relationships they said they had had with Trump — allegations Trump denies.

Federal authorities call that a violation of campaign finance law — one for which Trump also may be culpable.
Later, Cohen admitted that he and other Trump aides continued negotiations with powerful Russians about a potential real estate project in Moscow well into the 2016 presidential campaign.

Cohen had told Congress in 2017 that the talks ended in January, but his subsequent admission meant that Trump's aides had a channel open with Russia even as Trump was becoming the GOP front-runner and was denying he had any ties to Russia.

Oh? Nicki Minaj Is Reportedly Talking Marriage & Kids With Convicted Sex Offender Boyfriend
NEW YORK, NY – Nicki Minaj and old crush Kenneth Petty just made their Instagram debut earlier this month but according to TMZ, their relationship is moving at lightening speed. Sources close to the platinum-selling artist say the couple has already talked about marriage and children, even though Petty reportedly has five children from previous relationships.

Despite Petty’s murky past — which includes attempted rape and manslaughter convictions — Nicki reportedly believes he’s changed and she’s apparently ready to move forward with him.
The two met as teenagers in their hometown of Queens and Nicki refers to Petty one of her “first loves.”

Over the past few days, Nicki has shared multiple photos of themselves cozying up together. Most recently, the 36-year-old super rapper uploaded a video of the pair working out.

OH MY? A Detroit pastor allegedly murdered a woman because she’s transgender
A pastor has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a transgender woman in Detroit.

Kelly Stough, 36, was found shot to death last week. Investigators believe that she was killed by Albert Weathers, 46, who then allegedly fled the scene of the crime and went to work at the Great Lakes Water Authority.
He called the police an hour after the shooting to say that someone tried to rob him and that he shot the perpetrator.
Prosecutors said that evidence would be presented showing that Weathers, a pastor who rents a space in a church for his congregation, was motivated by anti-transgender bias. They have not yet revealed what they believe to be Weathers’s motive.

“She was loved,” said Jessica Williams-Stough, the victim’s mother. “She had a lot of people who loved her. She just wasn’t nobody.”
“This case reflects the excessive brutality that members of Detroit’s transgender community constantly face,” said Dana Nessel, president of Fair Michigan, an LGBTQ organization.

“We thank the Detroit Police Department for their efforts to investigate the facts of this tragic crime.”
A GoFundMe page has been created in Stough’s memory, which has raised around $2300 of its $4000 goal so far.

Weathers was is being charged with first-degree murder. His bond is set at $1 million.

Woman Who Claims To Be Offset’s Mistress Says Bardi Gang Fans Hacked and Deleted Her Instagram
Last week, Cardi B took to Instagram to unload the marital problems in her relationship with husband, Offset. “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute,” she said, adding that, “We’ve got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”
While initial details were scarce, fans concluded that the relationship fell apart due to Offset’s alleged infidelities after an old friend of Cuban Doll’s exposed her alleged relations with the rapper. Though Cuban denied ever reaching out to the Atlanta superstar, another woman implicated herself in the alleged cheating scandal.

In fact, since then, the woman, who has been identified as a 20-year-old woman named Summer Bunni, has released a written apology, a tearful statement to TMZ, as well as a new track, titled, “Don’t Matter,” apologizing for her role in Offset’s alleged infidelities.

But, after all the apologizing, Bunni took to Instagram live to flip the script and defend her relationship with the married rapper against Cardi’s fans, with Nicki Minaj playing in the background.
“Excuse me, sir. I didn’t mean to take your man, sir,” Bunni said on Instagram Live, adding that, “you should be sending people to fight your husband. I’m not the only girl, I’m the only girl the world wants to focus on.”

However, shortly after the Live, Bunni was locked out of her Instagram account, and not long after that, the entire page was scrubbed from the internet. And according to The Blast, sources close to Bunni say she believes the Bardi Gang is behind the hack.

The account previously had 76,000 followers and 35 posts before it was taken down on Monday morning, and now, she’s trying to get it back.

Nine-Year-Old Girl Hangs Herself After Being Bullied At School Over Friendship With White Boy
Last week, tragedy struck in Linden, Alabama after a nine-year-old girl committed suicide over repeated racist bullying because of her friendship with a white child.

According to Tuscaloosa News, McKenzie Adams was a fourth grade student at U.S. Jones Elementary School. Adams transferred to the school after her mother and grandmother reported to the State Board of Education that the young girl was being bullied at another school in Linden.
“She told me that this one particular child was writing her nasty notes in class,” Adams’ mother, Jasmine said. “It was just things you wouldn’t think a 9-year-old should know. And my baby to tell me some of the things they had said to her I was like where are they coming from.”

“She was being bullied the entire school year, with words such as ‘kill yourself,’ ‘you think you’re white because you ride with that white boy,’ ‘you ugly,’ ‘black b*tch,’ ‘just die,’’ Edwinna Harris, McKenzie’s aunt, said.
On December 3, Adams’ grandmother found her lifeless body in their Linden home, as the young girl had hanged herself. Now, according to CBS, the case is under investigation.
“We are working fully with the Demopolis and Linden police department. They are doing a joint investigation of these allegations,” Alex Brasswell, the City Schools attorney, said. “We are cooperating fully and I can’t comment on any of the aspects of the investigation until they conclude it.”

Our condolences to the Adams family.

Marvin Gaye, Chuck Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown Will Be Honored On DC’s New Walk of Fame
Marvin Gaye, Chuck Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown Will Be Honored On DC’s New Walk of Fame
Chocolate City just got a little bit more bronze. Washington, D.C. has snagged a new $400,000 project to salute D.C.’s contributions to the African American performing arts. A Walk of Fame is being built leading up to the historic Howard Theatre.

This project will parallel the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in the aspect that the attraction will be at our feet, but with a twist. Artists and contractors are placing bronze medallions and sculptures in a patterned .1 mile span leading up to the Howard Theatre. The medallions will be the faces of entertainers that have graced the Howard stage – including but not limited to Chuck Brown, Marvin Gaye, Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, and Cab Calloway.

Protesters Fill Michigan Capitol To Stand Against GOP Power Grab
Hundreds of protesters filled the Michigan Capitol in Lansing on Wednesday to voice their fierce opposition to Republican efforts that would curb incoming Democrats’ authority and stomp on measures to raise the minimum wage and guarantee paid sick leave.
Demonstrators traveled from around the state and as far as the Upper Peninsula, an organizer with Progress Michigan told HuffPost. Pressed against railings in the building’s gilded rotunda, they chanted and slapped their hands on the banister in unison.

“Hey hey, ho ho, lame duck has got to go!” protesters shouted.

In November, Michiganders elected a Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer; a Democratic secretary of state, Jocelyn Benson; and a Democratic attorney general, Dana Nessel ― all set to replace Republicans. And although Republicans will still enjoy a majority in the state’s House and Senate, their grasp weakened significantly as a number of Democrats were elected to each chamber.

Michigan’s GOP has responded inelegantly. Members of the state Legislature are moving quickly in the lame-duck session to diminish the incoming officials’ power, mirroring GOP efforts in neighboring Wisconsin.
Proposals under consideration would kneecap the governor’s and attorney general’s abilities to intervene in lawsuits and diminish the secretary of state’s role in campaign finance oversight, among other impairments. Michigan Republicans are also rushing to weaken unions and slash measures that would have raised the minimum wage and given workers access to paid sick leave.
