Jennifer Lopez Looking FAB for InStyle US - December 2018
Jennifer Lopez wore another green dress that is practically screaming, "Oh, that Versace dress? I don't know her." The 49-year-old multi-hyphenate is stunning the internet in several Valentino looks as the cover star for InStyle's December 2018 issue. The most jaw-dropping photos, however, are of Jennifer wearing a sequin Valentino Haute Couture cape with absolutely nothing else on — well, except for diamonds.
In the interview, Jennifer spoke about her body image and how it's helped influence a collective, and long overdue, embrace of curvier figures. "In my family, curves were glorified and part of the culture," Jennifer told the magazine. "It was just like, 'Jennifer has a big butt, and it's good.'"
Despite her sophisticated style, Jennifer continues to insist that she is indeed still Jenny from the block. "It's what I still often wear to this day, the big hoops and, you know, gold jewelry," she said about her style. "I always like to mix the glam with a bit of the hood." Read the full interview when the issue goes on sale Nov. 9, and enjoy pictures of Jennifer in the already iconic green dress ahead.

#Empire: Ratings: Halloween ‘Empire’ Scared Off by NBC’s ‘Chicago’ Shows
Wednesday was a Happy Halloween for NBC, which beat Fox in ratings for only the second time ever on an original “Empire” evening.
Dick Wolf’s “Chicago Shows” drove this victory for NBC. The only other time NBC was able to triumph over Fox among adults 18-49 on an “Empire” Wednesday was with “Hairspray Live!” That was way back on Dec. 7, 2016.
As a matter of fact, the last time Fox didn’t win a Wednesday in the key demo while airing an original episode was Nov. 29. 2017, when CBS ran a two-hour “Survivor” and a Bruno Mars special.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.1 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Chicago Med” at 8 p.m. had a 1.1/5 and 7.7 million viewers. At 9, “Chicago Fire” posted a 1.2/5 and 7.9 million. “Chicago PD” at 10 landed a 1.1/5 and 7 million viewers.
Fox was second in ratings with a 1.0/5, but fourth in viewers with 3.8 million. “Empire” at 8 put up a 1.2/6 and 4.2 million viewers. At 9, “Star” received a 0.9/4 and 3.4 million viewers.
CBS and ABC tied for third in ratings, each with a 0.9/4. CBS was second in total viewers with 5.6 million, ABC was third with 4 million.
For CBS, “Survivor” at 8 had a 1.3/7 and 7.1 million viewers. “SEAL Team” at 9 got a 0.8/4 and 5.4 million viewers. “Criminal Minds” at 10 received a 0.7/3 and 4.4 million viewers.
For ABC, “The Goldbergs” at 8 had a 1.0/5 and 4.8 million viewers. At 8:30, “American Housewife” got a 0.9/4 and 4.2 million viewers. “Modern Family” at 9 received a 1.2/5 and 5 million viewers. At 9:30, “Single Parents” closed the comedy block with a 0.9/4 and 3.7 million viewers. Drama “A Million Little Things” at 10 finished off actual primetime to a 0.8/4 and 3.3 million viewers.
Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.3 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1.2 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 661,000, airing all reruns.

Will Smith And Martin Lawrence Confirm ‘Bad Boys 3’
It’s official. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are bringing Bad Boys for Life to the big screen.
After much speculation, the long-awaited follow-up to 2003’s Bad Boys II is finally happening, the film’s stars announced on social media.
On Wednesday (Oct. 31), Lawrence posted a picture of himself with Smith and wrote, “It’s official. Bad Boys for Life.” Smith followed up the announcement with his own excitedly confirming the news.
“It’s been a LOOOONG time Coming,” Smith captioned the Instagram video. “But now it’s Here! @BadBoys For Life 🚨 We back!!”
The film has been on and off again for years due to Smith’s busy schedule. Just last year, Lawrence was skeptical about a third installment in the action series.
“I don’t think we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out,” he told EW. “Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen. … If they wanted to do it, I’m ready, but I don’t have control of that. That’s the studio’s decision.”
Production on Bad Boys 3 could commence as early as the top of next year, with a rumored release date of Jan. 17, 2020. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Black, Gangsta) will direct.
Chris Brown To Revise His Custody Agreement. He will Buy Nia Guzman A New Home!
Last month, Nia Guzman said in court documents, that the money she’s been demanding is squarely to “protect Royalty from CB fans who try and take photographs of Royalty.”
She says the 2-bedroom apartment is not ideal for their daughter, especially when it’s so easily accessible by the public and possibly obsessive fans. Guzman says Royalty is “trapped in my apartment. She can’t go outside,” and claims “there’s a whole bunch of weirdos,” including “People taking pictures from balconies.”
Now Chris Brown and his estranged baby mother Nia Guzman have been getting along a lot better of late.
According to TMZ reports, Sources connected to Chris and Nia tell TMZ … for several months now they’ve been in mediation and they’ve all but ironed out a deal that would have Chris upping his monthly payments to Nia for their 4-year-old daughter, Royalty.
We’re told Chris has been paying Nia around $2,500 per month. She’s asking for $21k per month, but we’re told that, while she won’t get that amount, she WILL get a significant increase.
And, get this … our sources say as part of the deal, Chris is buying Nia a new house. He’ll also pay over $100k in Nia’s legal costs. We’re told they’re still ironing out details on the custody split.
Megyn Kelly Slams Media For Invading Family’s Privacy!
Playing out in the press and social media as much as the conference room, it looks like negotiations over Megyn Kelly’s departure from NBC News have taken a bad turn yet again – and the ex-morning show host’s attorney wants the big boys to step in if news boss Andy Lack can’t or won’t stop the leaks. At the same time, Kelly herself is accusing certain outlets of crossing the privacy line in regards to her family.
“Despite my efforts to handle this process confidentially, NBC News is allowing the media to run with completely false and irresponsible reports that disparage Megyn by erroneously claiming she has ever asked for more money than her contract requires,” lawyer Bryan Freedman said today after it popped up in the Daily Mail and other outlets that Kelly was now looking for an extra $10 million over the remainder of her estimated $69 million three-year contract with the Comcast-owned company.
In talks with NBC News as recently as Tuesday, the LA-based attorney then turns his spotlight on the often porous Lack-run unit for spreading its own narrative and seemingly sitting on its hands simultaneously
“If NBC News is not the source then they have a responsibility as a news division to correct these false claims,” Freedman adds. “Or are they somehow attempting to use these fabrications for some fictitious advantage in the discussions we’re having?”
Then, from a man who floated getting ex-NBCer Ronan Farrow to sit in on the talks, there’s the kicker squarely aimed to resonant in the corporate corridors and up the chain of command: “If Andy Lack has lost control, my hope would be that Steve Burke can step in and not permit blatant lies about our discussions to remain uncorrected.”
Issues of Kelly’s payout, non-compete agreement and the signing of a NDA have been reported by various outlets including Deadline over the last week since Megyn Kelly Today was formally canned on October 26, just days after the host made deeply offensive comments about “blackface” Halloween costumes
Today NBC News today didn’t give much credence to the scathing accusations or shout-out to big boss Burke by Kelly’s high-profile lawyer.
“Unlike Mr. Freedman, who has repeatedly commented to the media throughout the negotiations, we respect the confidentiality of the process, and will have no comment until it reaches its conclusion.” a NBC News spokesperson told Deadline.
Quiet for the most part over the past week, Kelly herself took to social media this morning to name manes and slam the always upclose and personal Daily Mail for invading the privacy of her family:
It is so on and so not over.
Oprah Campaigning for Stacey Abrams in Georgia is the Best Thing You’ll See All Day
"You get a vote and you get a vote!"
With the midterm elections less than a week away, Americans are gearing up for one of the most important elections of our lifetimes. The silver lining of Trump’s election (if there is one) is that it has inspired a record number of women, and especially women of color, to run for political office. Democrat Stacey Abrams is currently running for governor of Georgia, and if elected, she would be the first African-American woman governor ever.
Abrams is a charismatic and well-qualified politician who represents the incoming wave of progressive candidates committed to making real change. As she battles Republican Brian Kemp and fights against Kemp’s alleged efforts to to suppress voting, she has gotten tremendous support from America’s queen herself: Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah joined Abrams on the campaign trail, speaking to crowds about the importance of voting and even canvassing door-to-door to talk to voters. As you can expect, the reactions are priceless:
Oprah also gave an impassioned speech in Marietta, calling on people to vote and saying, “For anybody here who has an ancestor who didn’t have the right to vote, and you are choosing not to vote — wherever you are in this state, in this country—you are dishonoring your family. You are disrespecting and disregarding their legacy, their suffering and their dreams, when you don’t vote.”
Other celebrities canvassing for Abrams include Will Ferrell and Michael B. Jordan:
Mike Pence, who was in town to stump for Kemp said, “I heard Oprah was in town today and I heard Will Ferrell was going door-to-door the other day. Well I’d like to remind Stacey Abrams and Oprah and Will Ferrell—I’m kind of a big deal too.” Okay, sure Pence, you’re the Vice President. But you’re sure as shit no Oprah.

Stefflon Don Trolls Nicki Minaj Fans On Social Media, Compares Them To Garbage
The feud between Stefflon Don and Nicki Minaj’s fan base is persisting as she’s firing back at the “Garbs” on social media. Don has continued to taunt the cult like fan base in her comments on Instagram with Jamaican vernacular, comparing them to garbage, and accusing them of being teenagers.
We hear that the spawning of the Internet quarrel started when Don called out Nicki during her disagreement with Cardi B. Since then, Nicki’s fan base – who she respectively calls Barbz – has been creeping under Don’s comments, and she’s reacted seemingly jokingly.
She shared a video selfie Thursday morning trying to decipher why the comments seemed to have halted,
So I just woke up and looked at the video, it’s been over an hour now, it’s got over a 1000 comments. Garbs, what’s going on? What the f*ck is going on?! What, you tired already? How you tired so quick, what kind of dead garbs is this?
Attaching the caption,
The GARBS dem tired AF im truly disappointed this morning
In another post, Don shared a video of herself doing a dance which involved her feet to be used in a consistent motion. She later added a comment under the video writing,
UPDATE! This is a rare footage of me stepping on the duty GARBS
In addition to another post, where she mocked the ongoing joke which the “Barbie Dreams” rapper’s core fan base is in middle and high school. Sharing a text conversation between her and a friend, who inquired about the behavior of the garbs. Don’s caption read,
My kids still in school ? I appreciate the fact my friend has acknowledged that my kids names have now changed from #BARBS to #GARBS aka #GARBAGE and nicki ain’t they mother no more i AM ?for those who keep asking ? ??
Al Roker Fires Back After Being Called Hypocrite For Portraying White Character Amid Megyn Kelly Blackface Firing
When Megyn Kelly was fired for saying it was fine for people to wear blackface on Halloween, Al Roker was one of the first to criticize her on air. But now he’s being called a hypocrite.
As they do every year, the “Today” show hosts dressed up for Halloween and followed a particular theme.
This go around they came as popular musicians, as well as movie characters from the ‘80s, and Roker dressed as Doc Brown from “Back to The Future” played by Christopher Lloyd.
There were some who asked why Roker was allowed to portray a white character for Halloween when Kelly got fired for speaking about someone wearing blackface.
“So here’s my question,” wrote one Facebook user. “Megyn Kelly loses her show because she posed a question about dressing as an admired character of color if you are of Caucasian background, and yet Al Roker dresses today as a beloved character from an iconic movie who happens to be Caucasian. Is there some hypocrisy in there?”
“Megyn Kelly is a terrible person to even suggest that it is okay for a white person to go as a Black character for Halloween,” another person wrote. “Also, Al Roker goes as Doc Brown, a white character from a movie for Halloween. #Hypocrites #Whiteface.”
Roker eventually responded but before he did, others on social media beat him too it.
“No, there is no hypocrisy but plenty of ignorance on your part,” wrote someone on Facebook. “Al Roker did not put on whiteface.”
Then another person posted an old photo of Roker dressed as Dracula and wearing white facial makeup, which sparked another round of debate.
“Wow the stupidity,” one person replied. “Please don’t comment if you have no idea what blackface is. Also, really, someone brought up Dracula? A made up vampire is your reasoning of why Al stoker is a hypocrite? Please stop the ignorance.”
Eventually, Roker chimed in through social media page and explained why he’s able to portray a white person compared to one wearing blackface.
“I’m going to say this one last time but the folks who get it understand, and the ones who don’t, won’t,” he tweeted. “I can be Doc Brown, and I wear the outfit and wig and not change my skin color. If you’re white you can be President Obama if you want. Just don’t color your skin.”
Roker’s tweet didn’t quiet the noise, however and some still called him a hypocrite. But others kept jumping to his defense
Kenya Moore Confirms She’ll Have to Deliver Baby Daly Early Due to Complications
Kenya Moore has been dealing with major pregnancy complications and now she’s confirmed she’ll have to deliver her baby early because of it.
“Tests confirmed I do have preeclampsia today,” Moore shared on her Instagram Story Wednesday, Oct. 31. “I will have to deliver #babydaly early but I’m being closely monitored to determine when. Thank you for all your love and well wishes❤️.”
Fans have poured out with positive comments for the mom-to-be, whose due date was originally on Thanksgiving Day.
“Hang in there Kenya and Baby Daly!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 You got this girl!”
“You and the baby will be fine. My grandson came the same way last week. Sending love and hugs. Can’t wait to see pics of the bundle of joy. Just relax and let God work.”

“I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party,” she said on Instagram Oct. 29. “Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia… I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal!”
The former star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” said she had been undergoing a stress test to determine if she’d have to deliver her baby early. At the time, she told followers she was “staying positive.”
She also encouraged her “pregnant sisters” to keep up with doctor’s visits and inform their physicians “of any drastic changes.”
“Thank God I have great doctors. #babydaly #highrisk #love #family #miraclebaby #kenyamoore #babybump #pregnantover40,” she added.
Pittsburgh Shooting Suspect Robert Bowers Pleads Not Guilty
PITTSBURGH—The man charged with killing 11 people in a synagogue entered a plea of not guilty and his lawyers asked for a jury trial in an arraignment in federal court Thursday.
Prosecutors said a trial could take three to four weeks unless the case is certified for capital punishment.
No trial date was set in the short proceeding.
Robert Bowers, 46 years old, was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on 44 counts connected to Saturday’s shooting inside the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood. The counts include hate crimes that could carry the death penalty if he is convicted.
Mr. Bowers entered the courtroom wearing a short sleeve, tomato-red jumpsuit, with bandages visible on his left elbow and a chain around his waist.
In addition to the 11 killed, six other people including four police officers were wounded.
U.S. attorney Scott Brady has said he intends to seek the death penalty against Mr. Bowers, who said he wanted to “kill Jews” while being taken into custody, according to the indictment.
Mr. Bowers was armed with an AR-15 assault-style rifle and three handguns when he carried out the attack, the indictment states.
In the brief appearance before federal Magistrate Judge Robert Mitchell, Mr. Bowers said “yes” to whether he had seen the indictment and whether he understood the potential penalties against him.
Experts say it isn’t unusual for a suspect to plead not guilty at this point in a potential capital case. A suspect could plead guilty at a later time to avoid capital punishment.
“Generally speaking, in a case that’s well-litigated from the defense perspective, no agreement is reached until the defense has had a full opportunity to do the necessary investigation,” said Eric M. Freedman, a law professor at Hofstra University’s law school.
Mr. Bowers, who was injured when he was apprehended Saturday, was wheeled into the same courtroom earlier in the week. On Thursday, he walked in between two U.S. Marshals and looked out into the crowd before taking his seat.
Mr. Bowers sat hunched silently between his two attorneys at a defense table as federal prosecutors Soo Song and Troy Rivetti read summaries of the 44 counts against him and associated penalties.
His attorney Michael Novara from the federal public defender’s office entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.
Mr. Bowers faces a potential death sentence for 32 of the 44 counts against him. He also faces a potential sentence of life without parole, followed by a sentence of as much as 535 years in prison, prosecutors have said.
Little is known about Mr. Bowers beyond his social-media footprint in which he often expressed anti-Semitic views.
Records from the police department in the Borough of Dormont, a suburb of Pittsburgh in which Mr. Bowers at one point lived, show that he had occasional contact with officers in the mid-1990s and early 2000s.
In September 1993, police in Dormont issued Mr. Bowers a traffic citation related to a vehicle registration.
Dormont police stopped Mr. Bowers again in April 1994 after an officer saw him walking with a white box across a rooftop before descending a fire escape. Mr. Bowers told officers he lived in the rear apartment of the building, near the Potomac Bakery, where Mr. Bowers worked.
Police later questioned Mr. Bowers in relation to a 1996 burglary in which he wasn’t a suspect, but knew someone thought to be involved.
Then in February 1997, Mr. Bowers appears to have found a wallet behind Breakers Pool Hall and turned it in to police.
Police also had contact with Mr. Bowers in 2004 for a medical incident, but declined to discuss the details in that case citing health privacy laws.
Pennsylvania court records also show Mr. Bowers had a 2015 traffic citation for operating a vehicle without an identification decal.
