#RHoA: What Happened to #TEAMTWIRL? Only 5 Fans Showed Up To the Kenya Moore Protest in NYC?
Fans of Kenya Moore five to be exact, showed up outside Rockefeller Center in New York City on Tuesday to protest her being axed from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“Who do we want? Kenya! Who do we need? Kenya! Bring back Kenya Moore!," they also chanted. The protest was not attended by Kenya herself.

WATCH HERE
Kenya, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Marc Daly, will not be part of RHOA's 11th season as word got out last week that she left after "messy" contract negotiations.
According to sources close to PEOPLE, both production and Kenya wanted her to return. However she was requesting more money than they were offering and they wanted to film all parts of her life. that included her marriage to husband Marc, which was previously off-limits. His lack of presence was something she was criticized for in season 10.

She threw some shade about leaving the show on her Instagram Saturday, after a fan made a comment on her post that said "You are such a real housewife of Atlanta." Her response? "Apparently not", next to a shrugging emoji.

What do you think about Kenya's fans protesting her not being part of season 11?

Kim Kardashian calls Tyson Beckford ‘Sis’ in Instagram Beef and The LGBTQ Community isn’t happy!
Kim Kardashian drew the ire of the LGBT community when she responded to Tyson Beckford‘s body shaming comments by using the slang term “sis.”

The beef all went down in the comments section of The Shade Room’s Instagram account. Beckford responded to a photo of Kim by writing, “Sorry I Don’t care for it personally … She is not real, doctor f**ked up on her right hip.”

Kim answered back by saying, “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it.”
The term “sis” is common in the LGBT community, used often to refer to an LGBT person both in a positive and negative way. It can be seen as homophobic if used by someone who is not part of the LGBT community.
Some have also taken offense because the word is used in the black community as well; “sis” being short for “sista.”

Social media reaction was all over the map — people from both communities got on Kim Kardashian for using the word, while others got on Tyson for his body shaming comment.
Beckford responded with a series of Instagram stories, first saying his comments were meant to be about women who get plastic surgery and not specifically about Kim (he’s more of a Beyoncé guy).
Oh OK!

Actress Erika Alexander Hints to a Possible ‘Living Single’ Reboot
Don’t call it a comeback, but “Living Single” may be making a return television. Actress Erika Alexander gave her fans a pretty big tease about a possible reboot.

Alexander, whose role was Maxine attorney-at-law on the hit show, posted a video on Instagram hinting at a return of the show. In the video she said, “Anybody know how to reboot this?,” as she winks and points to a computer in front of her. Her caption said, “Anyone need a REBOOT?!? ; ) #maxineshaweffect #reboot #livingsingle#nowarranty.”
Fans quickly caught on.

Fans were stunned by Alexander’s tease because earlier this year she stated that she did not want any part of a “Living Single” reboot. “I think it’s great people are nostalgic for things in the past, maybe for good reason. It happens,” she said on “The Breakfast Club” back in March. But she continued and said, “But for me, I always tried to be honest and said that if my film and television career had been a lot better, I might not have any problem dipping my toe back into that water and going and doing the Max character.” Then she said, “But for me … time is so finite. You have so little time. I think I just want to see if I can do other things. And see if I can get people as happy for me or into a different character in a different way.” Fans are crossing their fingers.

The Icon Betty White Started Trending and Gave Twitter Users a Heart Attack
It was recently announced that a Betty White documentary was going to be making its way to PBS next month. With the news came a lot of internet buzz about the iconic actress. With internet buzz comes trending topics on Twitter. And when you see a 96-year-old's name trending on Twitter your brain automatically goes to the worst case scenario.

That's exactly what happened to fans when they read White's name in the left hand corner of their computer screens, and many tweeted what we all were thinking.
Some people weren't even sure why the Golden Girls star was trending in the first place but were just happy she was alive. "Seeing all these tweets of people freaking out because Betty White is trending (honestly same) but I still haven't figured out why Betty White started trending," one fan wrote. Another suggested giving elderly celebrities special icons when they begin to trend, so we know why.

The 38-year-old actress spoke to Glamour in her cover issue about the aftermath of the trauma.
“That whole experience put me in such a messed-up place for a long time, and I ended up going to counseling,” she said.

She continued, “Me just yelling out people’s names with no thought behind it is pointless. I need a plan. “I could be a voice, but what’s a voice going to do—just keep talking? Or is there action behind it?”

“I notice that men are afraid of women that are aggressive. So to protect myself I become semi-aggressive,” she continued. “You hear about, ‘Tiffany always hitting on somebody,’ but that’s to keep them from hitting on me.”

#RHONY Jill Zarin Opens Up About New Boyfriend Gary Brody
Jill Zarin opened up about her new boyfriend, Gary Brody, during her sixth annual luxury luncheon in the Hamptons over the weekend.
While honoring her late husband, Bobby Zarin, at the event, the former Real Housewives of New York City star spoke out about her romance and revealed that Bobby would want to see her move on.

“Life goes on and Bobby would want me to be happy and that’s what I’m trying to do,” Jill explained to Extra TV, according to a July 30 report. “I’m trying to fulfill what he wanted for me.”

Then, when asked if she’s in love with her new beau, Jill said, “New like, we’ll start with new like.”
“Of course, you know, it’s time. It’s time,” she explained of dating after Bobby’s death. “We started out as friends and then one thing leads to another in life and that’s… you know, that’s what Bobby wanted for me. He was very adamant about it.”

“I ask everyone who I’ve introduced him to if [Bobbt] would approve and they’ve all said [he would], but I trust my daughter [Ally’s] instinct the most,” she explained, adding that Ally approves of her new relationship.
News of Jill’s romance with Gary, a clothing company executive, first hit the web in June. At the time, the couple had reportedly been spotted together at Tao Downtown, prompting rumors of a new romance. Weeks later, Jill and Gary seemingly confirmed their relationship with a joint outing at Wimbledon tennis match with her daughter.

Netflix Lands Quincy Jones Documentary to be released in September!
(via Deadline) Netflix has acquired Quincy, the documentary about legendary composer/producer Quincy Jones that was directed by his daughter Rashida Jones and Alan Hicks. Netflix has set a global release for September 21, and will give the film a limited theatrical release as well. The film is produced by Paula DuPré Pesmen and executive produced by Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh from Tribeca Productions and Adam Fell from Quincy Jones Productions.

The docu is an intimate look into the life of an icon who has been a force in music and pop culture for decades, transcending racial and cultural boundaries. He started as a trumpeter, pianist and arranger for bandleader Lionel Hampton, and right out of college was arranging songs for artists including Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Gene Krupa, and Ray Charles. He has been a mentor to artists from Michael Jackson to Lesley Gore, Oprah Winfrey and Will Smith and collaborated with the likes of Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Miles Davis and many others.

Jones was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and has Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and Tonys on his mantle. Actually he has won 27 Grammys, second most in history. He was producer and conductor of “We Are The World,” still the best selling single of all time, and Jackson’s solo albums Off The Wall, Bad and Thriller, latter of which remains the best selling album ever. On the movie side, he co-produced Steven Spielberg’s The Color Purple and won an Emmy for scoring the opening episode of the groundbreaking miniseries Roots.

Jones is an inspiring man to speak with and is an accomplished storyteller, and opened up for the daughter he shares with his ex, the Mod Squad star Peggy Lipton.
“It’s rare that somebody who has lived as much life as my dad is still interested in growing and knowing the next generation,” Rashida Jones said. “He is such a man of action and accomplishments, but we were so lucky to spend real time with him, to let him reflect on life and the larger picture. I feel honored to be able to share that with audiences all over the world.”

Said co-director Hicks: “There is really no one like Quincy, the sheer breadth of his work alone is unparalleled, but the story of him as a man has never been comprehensively told. It was a privilege to have his trust, allowing us to capture intimate moments giving insight into the fabric of the man.”

Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentaries for Netflix called it “a rare opportunity to be able to present the definitive story of someone who has for over seven decades, not just influenced, but altered the course of culture.”

Dating app murder suspect seemed like a ‘dream guy’ at first, ex-girlfriend says
Zynea Barney, 26, said she began interacting with Danueal Drayton last November after he messaged her on an online dating and matchmaking application, for “two days straight.”
Barney “wasn’t looking for love” at the time, so she said she ignored the messages at first, but she eventually replied.

“It was just conversation, you know, just talk here and there,” Barney told ABC News.
Drayton stood out because instead of asking Barney for photos of her body, like a “normal guy” would, he would inquire about her goals and dreams instead, she said.
“We would talk all night, all day, regular conversation,” she said. “No red flags, nothing. Just you know — the perfect guy…..”

Barney said the relationship “kept going forward in a positive direction,” but she noticed something amiss when Drayton was driving her car and she answered a call on his phone from a woman named “Cherry.”
Barney says the woman told her that she also met Drayton on a dating app. According to Barney, the woman said she and Drayton were “just friends,” but told Barney he’d never mentioned that he had a girlfriend.
Barney demanded that Drayton pull over and get out of her car, causing him to plead with her, telling her that the woman was “nothing” but “conversation,” she said.

But, Barney says she drove away, telling Drayton that while he should have been honest with her, they could remain friends since Drayton was “new to New York,” offering him help with looking for a job. Barney’s son was in the backseat of the car at the time, she said.

After that, the relationship spiraled out of control, Barney said. She began to feel threatened in early June, she said, when Drayton would allegedly sleep outside her home, waiting for her and begging her to take him back when she would ask him to leave.
