Zoë Kravitz on Group Texts with Her Big Little Lies Co-Stars and the Beauty of Bad Tattoos!
Everything about Zoë Kravitz is effortlessly cool. The multi-hyphenate celebrity fronts major beauty and fashion campaigns (including YSL Beauty and Tiffany & Co.), stars in the hit show Big Little Lies, and she’s releasing her latest album with her band, Lolawolf. But that’s all to be expected when your parents are the ultimate Hollywood tastemakers, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet.

Kravitz just sat down with her godmother Marisa Tomei (like we said, Hollywood royalty) for an intimate interview for InStyle‘s May issue, accompanied by four gorgeous covers. During their chat, the two discussed aging, beauty and what Kravitz does to relax and regroup (it involves a lot of sweating).

Kravitz, who turns 30 later this year, says she’s been thinking about aging more than ever, but is taking it all in stride. “I’m feeling more in my body,” Kravitz revealed. “Beauty is so much what’s on the inside, as Hallmark-y as that may sound.”
But while she feels secure in herself now, she says it’s still an evolving journey, having had moments where she didn’t feel beautiful on the inside or outside. “I had to go through phases where I had to try to find it.”
One way she expresses her inner beauty? Through tattoos.

“I think the fact that they’re permanent is such a wonderfully intense thing,” she shared. “It’s a deep way to adorn yourself, and I think they’re beautiful aesthetically. Even if you get a bad tattoo, it’s like…that’s where you were at that time.”
With a schedule as busy as Kravitz’s she says she values one thing above all to regroup to feel centered. “Steam rooms are, like, my favorite places ever,” she said. “For me, spas aren’t for getting my nails done. I want to sweat it out. I have a steam room in my house because it just makes me feel so good. When I’m in L.A., I go to a Korean spa and spend hours there sweating it out, moving the energy.”

She also values the importance of one beauty product, coconut oil. “I love the idea of putting something on your body that you can eat and that smells like cupcakes … because girls are supposed to smell like cupcakes [laughs]. It’s my favorite thing in the world, coconut oil.”
And for all you Big Little Lies fans out there, their conversation included talks of her co-stars, who she says is her “support system.”
“Before we knew we were coming back for a second season, we kept in touch—group texts and emails and stuff like that. And I’ve spoken to [co-star] Reese [Witherspoon], who’s become one of my dearest friends, about so many aspects of my life.”

InStyle’s May 2018 issue goes on sale Friday, April 13 with select features going online today.

#RHoA: FINALLY!  Kenya Moore, 47, and Husband Marc Daly Expecting Their First Child Together
TWIRL TAKE 2! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 47, revealed on Sunday’s season 10 reunion part 1 that she’s pregnant with her first child — a surprise revelation that happened at the top of the show when host Andy Cohen inquired if a baby was on the way.
“We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year,” Moore said, shocking herself. “Oh my God, I said that! I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place.”

Asked if she wanted a boy or a girl, Moore said, “I want a healthy baby.”
Her happy news comes 10 months after the former Miss USA married husband Marc Daly in a romantic sunset ceremony on a St. Lucia beach. “We both want to start a family and soon — like, right away,” Moore said at the time. “We both want a child.”

“We have been really upfront about wanting to expand our family, and we have definitely been taking the proper steps to try to make that happen,” she added on the RHOA After Show in January.
Moore and Daly first met met through mutual friend (and fellow Bravolebrity) Chef Roblé Ali back in June of 2016, though didn’t start dating until December of that year.

Their first date changed everything for Moore. “I’ve never experience a first date like this before,” she gushed. “You know when you meet people, and you like them or have good chemistry with them but you don’t feel like the world has changed? I felt like the earth moved after our first date.”
It was a stark contrast from dating experiences Moore had in the past. But then again, Moore tried a different tactic this time around.

“I was always the person who ran,” she admitted. “Any time I ever saw anything I didn’t like in someone, I just ran. And it was not working for me. I want people to stick with me and work it out if they care, so I can’t run. You have to communicate honestly with each other and never give up on each other.”
Since saying their “I dos,” the duo have kept busy, splitting their time between Moore’s house in Atlanta and Brooklyn, New York — where Daly owns and operates an acclaimed soul food fusion restaurant named Soco.

They’ve also been traveling the world together. Back in November, the pair were spotted enjoying waves on a Barbados beach. In January, they spent sometime on a different terrain: the deserts of Egypt, where they celebrated Moore’s birthday.
And then there were the red carpets events they attended in March, including their first public appearance together at the 26th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party in Los Angeles and the Carrie Steele-Pitts Home 130th Anniversary Gala in Atlanta.
Both were surprise appearances, considering Moore initially kept Daly’s identity secret after announcing their nuptials — explaining that he “didn’t sign up for this world.”

“Every time someone has been associated with me, they attack that person — immediately going after them, trying to bring them down and saying crazy things,” she said. “They tear people apart. And so for [Marc], he was like, ‘This is about me andyou — it’s not about me or you.’ He just wanted it to be about our pure love and not about him.”

“That’s why I fell in love with him,” she continued. “For him, it’s about being my protector and my best friend — not being someone that stands next to me, but someone who supports me and is okay with being behind me sometimes. He doesn’t want my money, he doesn’t want my fame, he doesn’t want my success — he just wants my heart, and he has it.”
But she seems to have relaxed that now, with Daly even appearing on RHOA this season after months of shying away from the cameras.

“A year ago I would have never expected I’d be where I am now,” she said in the finale. “I am possibly expanding my family.”
As for motherhood, Moore appears committed to being the best mom she can be.

“Nothing is more important to me than my family,” she said in an Instagram post of her and Marc back in November, adding the hashtags: “#love #familyfirst #ThatsMrsDalyToYou.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

“We’re thrilled to have Q-Tip join the faculty of The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music,” Jason King, associate professor and director of Writing, History & Emergent Media Studies at the Clive Davis Institute, said in a press release. “In searching for instructors to teach in our program, our aim is to always bring top-flight working professionals to the classroom who have made a major impact in their fields.

The teaching role adds another wrinkle to the résumé of Q-Tip, who was named the Artistic Director for Hip Hop Culture by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in 2016.

“I couldn’t be more excited to share with the students what I know and I look forward to them also teaching me,” he said. “Teaching is an exchange of sharing and receiving for all involved.”

Q-Tip’s class begins on September 5 and will run through the fall semester.

A Topless protester arrested outside The Bill Cosby trial!
She wanted to make comedian ‘uncomfortable'

The topless protester who lunged at Bill Cosby and got tackled by cops outside his sexual assault re-trial Monday knew the comedian from a bit part on “The Cosby Show” and wanted to get “in his face,”.
“I just wanted him to feel my presence and to feel uncomfortable. I didn’t want him to just walk like, ‘La-di-da, it’s a normal day. I have my regular dignity, and I did nothing,’” protester Nicolle Rochelle told a small group of reporters by phone.

“The main goal was to make Cosby uncomfortable, because that is exactly what he has been doing for decades to women,” she said shortly after prosecutors charged her with disorderly conduct for the stunt.
Rochelle, 39, argued it’s “mathematically obvious” Cosby is a serial predator, but she was adamant she never intended to physically harm the 80-year-old former TV star.
“It was definitely a peaceful type of protest,” she said. “I wanted to approach him, but I didn’t want to touch him at all.”

Rochelle appeared in several episodes of “The Cosby Show” as a 12-year-old child actress and said she had no “bad experiences” with him personally.
A topless protester was arrested outside the Bill Cosby trial. A photo on IMBD.com depicts her on set alongside actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, also 39, who played Cosby’s daughter Rudy Huxtable.
According to prosecutors, Rochelle charged at Cosby and his entourage at 8:35 a.m. as they entered a restricted area outside the courthouse in Norristown, PA.

She was naked from the waist up and had writing on her body that named the comedian’s accusers and said “Cosby,” “rapist” and “Women’s Lives Matter.”

Video showed Cosby walking with his spokesman Andrew Wyatt when the incident occurred. He appeared startled but had little other reaction as Rochelle was wrestled into some bushes and handcuffed.

Wyatt later criticized Rochelle’s tactics, claiming they did a disservice to women.
Rochelle disagreed, saying she decided to use her body as a canvas to show it could be “aggressive and empowered.”
“I can use my body as a political statement and not just a sexual object, like he did to other women,” she said. “I wanted to show him that I was not disempowered.”

She said her nudity also served the goal of attracting attention to her message.
“That was definitely the goal, to attract attention to the fact that women are not laying down peacefully and taking this kind of treatment,” she said during the call facilitated by Cosby accuser Lili Bernard.

“I know so many people personally that are for him, which always disturbs me, so I wanted to show that people are definitely against him,” Rochelle said.
Bernard, also a former actress on “The Cosby Show,” is attending the trial with a group of other fellow accusers and was not involved in planning the protest.
If convicted, Rochelle, who has an address in Little Falls, N.J., will have to pay a fine, prosecutors said.

She said Monday that authorities put her in a jail cell and said it was possible she would be charged with lewdness. In the end, she was released without giving her fingerprints and was asked to leave Norristown, she said.
Rochelle said she actually lives in Paris now and is a member of the European feminist group Femen.
The wild scene that kicked off Cosby’s re-trial led into a waiting game inside the courthouse as the judge delayed opening statements so he could investigate the impartiality of a juror.
Cosby’s camp has claimed the juror told a woman during jury selection last week that he thought Cosby was guilty. Cosby wants the man removed from the case.
Cosby is charged with drugging and molesting Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. She was a manager of the Temple University women’s basketball team at the time while Cosby was a high-profile university trustee.
Constand, 44, claims she considered Cosby a father figure and professional mentor when she visited him to discuss her career. She testified last year that she only accepted three blue pills that he offered to her after she felt reassured they were only “herbal” remedies for stress.

She says the pills ended up leaving her groggy and paralyzed, and that Cosby took advantage of her incapacitation to grope her breasts, penetrate her with his fingers and masturbate himself with her hand.
Her claims fell within Pennsylvania’s statute of limitations when prosecutors charged him in December 2015. The criminal filing came after a judge unsealed deposition testimony in which Cosby admitted he obtained seven prescriptions for Quaaludes in the 1970s so he could give the powerful drug to women he found sexually attractive.
The TV star once known as “America’s Dad” has pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated indecent assault, saying the pill pieces he gave Constand were Benadryl and that their sexual contact was consensual.

Some 58 women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct, but Constand's case is the only one to reach criminal prosecution.
If convicted of any of the three charges, Cosby could face up to a decade behind bars.

An initial trial on the same charges ended with a hung jury last June.

Killer Mike Issues An Apology After Joy-Ann Reid
There is nothing worse than someone being loud and wrong especially when they are trying to expose you.

The big homie Killer Mike collected a public “L” on Sunday after he played himself while trying to expose Joy-Ann Reid.

When Joy-Ann mention H&M on her Instagram page, Mike jumped at the chance to clapback at her by accusing her of supporting the clothing store we canceled over the monkey hoodie. Unfortunately, the H&M she was referring to was hair and makeup.
Killer Mike commented:
Joy-Ann Reid gathered him like a struggling ponytail when she responded:
Mike took to Twitter to apologize and finessed an interview with Joy-Ann to discuss his stance on gun ownership.

Tony Robbins Apologizes Amid Backlash Over Me Too Comments
“It is clear that I still have much to learn,” the self-help guru said in a statement Sunday.
Tony Robbins has apologized after comments he made about the Me Too movement last month recently sparked outrage on social media.

During one of his self-help lectures last month in San Jose, California, Robbins suggested that proponents of the movement to end sexual harassment and assault were failing to take responsibility for their own actions. Tarana Burke, who created the #MeToo hashtag, slammed Robbins in a series of tweets Saturday.
“This moment is so damaging especially with how influential @TonyRobbins is,” Burke tweeted. “His misogyny runs deep.”
Robbins, a wildly popular motivational speaker, attempted to clarify his comments in a statement Sunday, calling the Me Too movement a “beautiful force for good.”

“My comments failed to reflect the respect I have for everything Tarana Burke and the #MeToo movement has achieved,” Robbins said in the statement. “I apologize for suggesting anything other than my profound admiration for the #MeToo movement.”
“It is clear that I still have much to learn,” he added.
A video of Robbins controversial remarks went viral after Burke weighed in on them Saturday. In the video, a woman identified as Nanine McCool is seen confronting Robbins over his stance on the Me Too movement.
“I think you misunderstand the Me Too movement. I think ―” McCool says before Robbins cuts her off.
“I’m not mocking the Me Too movement. I’m mocking victimhood,” Robins said. “Look at these people and see what is empowerment. Anger is not empowerment.”

“What you’re seeing is people making themselves significant by making somebody else wrong,” he continued. “And there’s nothing wrong with that ― it just won’t make you happy. It won’t make them better. It won’t make you better.”
