#RHoA: Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kim Zolciak-Biermann ‘Kenya Won’t Get Under my Skin Anymore’
She says You Won't See Kenya Moore Get Under Her Skin Anymore This Season
The most explosive moment in season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (so far) came courtesy of enemies Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kenya Moore when they came face-to-face at NeNe Leakes' elaborately titled white party.
As Kim insinuated that Kenya's husband didn't actually exist and Kenya retaliated by accusing her foe of leveraging her daughter Brielle in an icky way for John Legend tickets, the pair had to be physically separated, with Kim eventually leaving the party she wasn't actually invited to in the first place. (Sheree Whitfield brought her as a surprise plus-one!) And while there's certainly been no love lost between the two on social media, Kim wants fans to know that that'll be the one and only time you'll see her lose her cool thanks to Kenya this season.
"I hate watching the drama unfold with Kenya, just allowing somebody to push by buttons," she told E! News when asked about having to watch that intense moment back months later. "I have not watched Housewives, I have not watched every episode since I left, so I didn't know that Kenya was the type—I didn't even know Kenya. I didn't know she was the type to just push people and push people until they just lose it until Porsha [Williams] explained to me what she's been through with her. So I didn't feel as bad that somebody was able to trigger me and get me that pissed off. But that's behind me. You'll see through the season that that doesn't happen again. No matter what I have to do when she's around me, I do many things to just not even deal with her."
After leaving the series midway through season five, Kim returned for a guest appearance late in season nine, where she sparred with—who else?—Kenya at Sheree's housewarming party. She's back this season only in a Friend of the Housewives capacity, making her appearances thus far few and far between. But could the Bravolebrity, who has a successful spinoff of her own on the network, ever envision a full-time return to the show that made her a star?
"I'm very motivated by money and I love, like I've said, I've had a really great time hanging out with Sheree and doing these kind of events and going places and getting out of the house. So the bigger the check, the more time I spend, yeah," the Don't Be Tardy star told us. "The more, the merrier. This is all a short-lived roller coaster ride, you know? So I definitely want to get in as much money as I can."
In other words: Get the woman's peach ready!
Don't Be Tardy wraps up season six on Friday, Dec. 15, while The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues Sundays at 8 p.m., on Bravo.

#MUSICNEWS: The Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music Renew Longstanding Music Agreement
The Estate of late Michael Jackson and Sony Music have agreed to a new deal which will extend the landmark 42-year relationship with the King of Pop’s music.
Effective January 1, 2018, Sony Music will extend the term of their administration of MJ’s catalog in a long-term recording agreement. Sony will also have the opportunity to partner on additional projects that the Estate may produce during the term of the contract.
Rob Stringer, Chief Executive Officer, Sony Music Entertainment comments, “Michael Jackson was an unsurpassed genius and an iconic force in music entertainment. The music—and videos—he made as an artist as part of the Sony Music family are essential to pop culture history. We’re proud to be part of that history, and to find new innovative ways to make Michael’s music available to future generations of fans.”
John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of MJ’s Estate, added, “We couldn’t ask for more creative and innovative partners than Sony and Rob Stringer (whose history working personally with Michael goes back to the 1990s). Michael continues to inspire generations of artists who have come after him and attract new fans who understand that his music and message are more important than ever. We look forward to continuing to preserve and develop his remarkable musical legacy with Sony.”
To date, Michael Jackson has achieved 40 RIAA certifications and 40 #1 chart positions and 102 Top 5 chart positions. Jackson’s overall worldwide record sales exceed the 1 billion threshold, including over 100 million sales of “Thriller” which remains the biggest selling album in history.
The last seven years of the creative partnership between Sony and the Estate have been characterized by the same kind of record-setting achievements that Michael realized during his lifetime. His recordings continue to meet new sales benchmarks: Last year, Thriller became the first and only album in RIAA history to pass the triple Diamond mark with a 33X platinum certification; Bad also achieved Diamond status.
Jackson’s latest release, the compilation album, Scream was his 16th Billboard Top 40 Album and 30th charting album and its release kicked off the worldwide. His previous release, 2014’s Xscape rocketed to #1 in 49 countries and produced the worldwide hit, “Love Never Felt So Good.”
Sony and the Estate have also partnered in the production of two critically acclaimed documentaries directed by Spike Lee: Bad 25 and Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off the Wall.
Other innovations created in conjunction with Sony include the first completely crowd-sourced music video for “Behind the Mask” (2010), the first Twitter music video premiere for “A Place With No Name” (2014) and a groundbreaking augmented reality campaign for Scream (2017).
#NEWHIPHOP: Stream Eminem’s Album ‘Revival’
Guess who’s back? Breaking a 4-year dry spell since The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem returns with Revival, the eighth album in his storied discography.
This time around, Marshall Mathers is joined by some familiar faces, including Beyoncé (“Walk On Water”), Ed Sheeran (“River”), Alicia Keys (“Like Home”), X Ambassadors (“Bad Husband”), Skylar Grey (“Tragic Endings”), Kehlani (“Nowhere Fast”), Pink (“Need Me”), and PHresher (“Chloraseptic”).
The 19-song set has been more than a year-in-the-making for Slim Shady. “You know how it is,” he recently told Elton John. “You make songs, and as you make the new ones, the old ones get old and you throw them out. The album is called Revival. It’s a reflection of where I’m at right now, but also I feel like what I tried to do was diversify. I’ve tried to make a little something for everyone.”

#FEMALEBEEF: Omarosa: Robin Roberts Declared “Black Woman Civil War”!
Soon-to-be-former White House staffer Omarasa Managault-Newman says ABC News’ Robin Roberts has declared “a black woman civil war” on her. And, being Omarosa, she did so via text message – to Inside Edition.
It all started when ABC News’ Good Morning America snagged the first interview with the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison on Thursday morning. The White House announced Wednesday she will be leaving January 20, after resigning to “pursue other opportunities.”
CNN contributor April Ryan had reported Wednesday afternoon that Omarosa – the former reigning villainess of The Apprentice franchise on which now-POTUS Donald Trump starred – had not left under her own steam, literally. Ryan reported on the cable news network that security escorted Omarosa from the building after she tried to enter the White House residence without authorization, to appeal to Trump. This after being told by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly that her services no longer were required, Ryan reported.
But Omarosa refuted that report to GMA‘s Michael Strahan on Wednesday, saying she and Kelly sat down in the Situation Room for a candid conversation in which she expressed her desire to stay with the White House until the one-year mark, in January, and then leave to get on with her life.
She blasted Ryan’s report she tried to access the White House Residence, saying it would be “ridiculous” to try to do so “in the most secure building in the world.”
“When I have the chance to tell my story, Michael, it will be quite a story to tell,” she told Strahan. “As the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the President, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people.
“And when I can tell my story it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear,” Omarosa promised modestly.
“She said she has a story to tell, and I’m sure she will be selling that story,” Roberts quipped to GMA colleague George Stephanopoulos.
“We’ll see,” Stephanopoulos responded, noncommittally. “Yeah, she will,” Roberts answered back. Then, looking into the camera, added, “Bye, Felicia,” quoting Ice Cube popular line from the 1995 film Friday.
Omarosa rose to the bait, texting Inside Edition that Robert’s “petty” crack launched “a black woman civil war.”

This from the woman who declared, on PBS’ Frontline, “Every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump.”
If it’s war, Roberts has a lot of troops. Over at The View, for instance, Sunny Hostin called Omarosa a “pariah” in the community.
“She’s always sort of been a villain, and I think her job as director of outreach in the African-American community was almost a slap in the face to the African-American community,” she explained.
Added Whoopi Goldberg, on Omarosa, “She’s just been so nasty to so many women, and so many women of color. So many women of color. And I just, you know, never mind.”
LOL!!!

#PROTECTTHEINTERNET: F.C.C. Repeals Net Neutrality Rules
The Federal Communications Commission voted on Thursday to dismantle landmark rules regulating the businesses that connect consumers to the internet, granting broadband companies power to potentially reshape Americans’ online experiences.
The agency scrapped so-called net neutrality regulations that prohibited broadband providers from blocking websites or charging for higher-quality service or certain content. The federal government will also no longer regulate high-speed internet delivery as if it were a utility, like phone services.
The action reversed the agency’s 2015 decision, during the Obama administration, to better protect Americans as they have migrated to the internet for most communications.
What’s The Tea? Tamar Braxton Turned Away From Dallas Area Gay Bar?
*It looks like “The Real” is not the only entity that doesn’t want Tamar Braxton on its premises. Add a Dallas area bar and restaurant to the list.
Tamar herself revealed what went down earlier this week via her Instagram story. She told her followers she was barred from entering JR’s Bar & Grill because of her appearance.
“Evidently I look like a gangster. I can’t go in this establishment,” she said.
“Here in my favorite town Dallas, they have zero tolerance for black people.”
courtesy of Meet Magazine
Meanwhile, JR’s addressed what happened in a statement, released to NBC 5/Dallas. Their position is that they have strict entrance policy which applies to anyone and everyone hoping to drink and dine there.
“Our posted policies regarding entrance into JR’s Bar & Grill are to both ensure the safety of all our customers and to certify that our staff are in accordance with the law when serving alcohol – without exception,” the statement read.
“In this instance, we were simply following our published procedures. It would have been a beautiful experience and honor to add Tamar Braxton to the long list of celebrities who have enjoyed JR.s as a safe and inclusive entertainment venue. We are deeply saddened that she didn’t experience the love that awaited her inside.”
Charles Roy is one of many who frequents the popular gay bar and is well aware of the dress code, which says, “no sweat towels, no backpacks, pants are to be worn around the waist, no sunglasses worn inside, give respect, get respect” and “zero tolerance policy.”
“I know they have signs up that say zero tolerance, but I think that’s for drug peddling and some other things that have gone on here in the past,” Roy told Fox 4. “I don’t think that’s being racist.”
“Are there certain areas of Dallas that are discriminatory? Maybe,” said another patron, Louis Dofrman. “But I don’t think this is one of them. I mean, this is the ‘gayborhood’ for God’s sake!”
Hundreds of comments on JR’s Facebook page, mostly from Braxton fans, take a different tone.
“Even in the gay community, people are a racist,” one person commented. “Smh I will never support y’all ever again.”
“How could you be so naive and oblivious?,” another commenter said. “Black people have supported JR’s but not any longer. The incident is disgraceful, tasteless, and racist.”
However Dallas LGBTQ community activist James Vincent to me had the perfect response. He said.
‘Hey Jrs Bar And Grill maybe you should've had my buddy John Anderson craft your response to the Tamar Braxton-Herbert situation. Actually, this should've been your response weeks, months, YEARS before the Tamar incident as she isn't the first case of alleged discrimination. It's the worst kept secret in Dallas that yours and other establishments on the strip either willingly engage in these behaviors or enable them by turning a tone deaf blind eye to them. You have an opportunity to change the course of race relations in this community. Be a pioneer. Heed the warnings from the community. Be better. Let's build.’
As of this posting, Tamar had not responded to the statement from the restaurant. Braxton was in the Big D for a performance at the Verizon Theatre.
Remember the LGBTQ Community don’t want to be discriminated against but in some cases are discriminating against one another. And now what about about that Cake baker in Colorado??????? SAD!
NYPD Launches Investigation into Russell Simmons
Russell Simmons is now the target of an NYPD investigation after several women have accused the Def Jam founder of sexual assault.
The special victim’s unit of the NYPD is investigating the sexual misconduct claims of at least seven women, according to the L.A. Times., and that detectives are in the initial stages of reaching out to the alleged victims.
Simmons stepped down from his businesses last month after screenwriter Jenny Lumet accused him of sexual assault. He has also been accused of rape by former model, Keri Claussen.
The mogul has denied any he committed sexual assault and claims all the other incidents were consensual. He also posted “#NOTME” this morning in response to the accusations, and vows to defend himself and “hold accusers accountable.”
Debra Lee Replaced As President At BET, Staying On As Chairman
BET has named Scott M. Mills as the new president of the Viacom-owned network. The current president, Debra L. Lee, will stay on at BET as chairman and CEO, according to reports.
Mills will take over the day-to-day responsibilities at BET, with Lee focusing on relationships with external stakeholders and communities. Michael Armstrong will continue in his position as general manager and will report to Mills. Bob Bakish, president and CEO of Viacom, said in a statement,
In her two decades at the helm of BET Networks, Debi has built BET into a truly global entertainment powerhouse, bringing this dominant African American brand to more than 60 countries and 125 million households. Her vision and leadership, unmatched intuition for what audiences want, and ability to attract and foster top talent– both behind and in front of the camera – have been pivotal to this success. We’re grateful that we will continue to benefit from Debi’s experience and insights. Scott is a proven leader who has made exceptional contributions to Viacom and BET for more than 20 years. His strong relationships across the industry – which were instrumental in securing our recent cross-house deal with Tyler Perry – as well as his track record of success initiating innovative creative ventures, including BET Experience, make him the right person for this role, as we continue to extend this brand across platforms and markets around the world.

‘G.O.A.T.’
Okay (1) Decent pun there. Totes ma goats. Well played. (2) Now is as good as time as any to vent my frustration for the sudden overuse of the acronym GOAT or Greatest of All Time. You want to put it on Brady, whatever go for it. But since the Super Bowl I feel like every sports team is tossing GOAT around to anyone and everyone. You get 1 per sport, league-wide. That’s it. Brady, Jordan, Gretzky, Ruth. Done.
