TEA SIPS!☕ Did R&B Chanteuse Chanté Moore Illegally-Obtained Money to Produce Her Latest Album? 🙈🙉🙊
The former ‘R&B Divas’ LA star Chante Moore denied recent accusations of illegally obtained money to produce her album.
According to The Blast, Chanté Moore is accused of knowingly accepting money that was fraudulently obtained by a criminal enterprise and using it to produce her latest album and artificially inflate her sales.
Moore finds herself wrapped up in a complicated fraud and racketeering case that essentially led to two men claiming they were defrauded out of $3.6 million.

In their lawsuit, the two men claim the defendants used some of their money to buy Moore plane tickets for her musical tour, lavish her with gifts, fund the production of and marketing campaign for her seventh album, “The Rise of the Phoenix,” and even to “pay off her significant personal debt.”
The two men also claim the money was used to “artificially enhance” her album sales through iTunes purchases. Since they believe their money was used to “directly used to finance the launching of Moore’s latest resurgence effort with her new album, including all advertising and marketing efforts put forth therewith,” they believe they are entitled to any profits from the record.

In a subsequent filing, Moore has denied the allegations and wants the case thrown out. Stay Tuned on this one.

‘Christmas Back To You’ follows Chante’s recently released seventh solo studio album, ‘The Rise Of The Phoenix.’
“It’s a very personal journey. I believe that the times that I’ve had, the good and the bad, from divorce to the emotional rollercoaster of being on a reality show to regular life and being a single mother now and all those things mixed together to formulate this body of work,”
Chante told Singersroom. “I think everything is a process, and there’s a place for breaking, and there’s a place that we take what’s happened to us, and we choose to be reborn and to be renewed in those things. The fires are kind of a refining process. Certainly, in life, the trials that come, they come to refine us and make us stronger. And I feel like the things that have happened to me are reflected in this record and all the good and the bad, all of that, I’ve used that in this music to become a better artist and a better person and spiritually better all around. I just really feel like this is a time of rebirth.”
