Viola Davis Dishes On Sex Scenes & Diversity
Viola Davis covers one of three covers for VARIETY’s “Actors on Actors” issue alongside Tom Hanks. The “How To Get Away With Murder” star sits down with Tom for a candid interview about diversity in Hollywood and how she executes her “HTGAWM” role as the imperfect, sexualized Annalise Keating.
“I saw that role as an opportunity for something that was way bigger than doing good work,” she said during the interview. “I saw it as an opportunity for a dark-skinned actress of 50 to be in a role that is sexualized, not sexy — there is a difference between sexualized and sexy. I saw it as an opportunity, a blank palate, or canvas, to put my mark on.”
During their chat, the EMMY Award winner analyzed the struggles and expectations that people of color face in Hollywood.
“Even in fabulous roles, they are still within the confines of being ‘strong,’ ‘a device,’ ‘funny,'” Davis said. “If it’s a black movie, at best it’s a biopic because it makes the audience feel comfortable that I am investing in this black person’s humanity, who I already know has made a mark in the world.”

#RHoA: Kim Zolciak Returning To ‘RHOA’: Why The ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ Is Star Heading Back To Her Reality Roots
Kim Zolciak is heading back to the Real Housewives of Atlanta after all. The Don’t Be Tardy star is expected to make a cameo in Season 9 during a party at Sheree Whitfield’s home. How did everyone react to Zolciak’s return?
Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports that Zolciak’s return was first spoiled by former RHOA star NeNe Leakes. Leakes told fans on social media that her contract fell through and producers were trying to get Zolciak to fill in on short notice. Cynthia Bailey recently confirmed the rumors when she revealed that Zolciak was at Whitfield’s party.
Zolciak was part of the show from Season 1 until Season 5 when she quit mid-season. The reality star walked away after an explosive lunch outing with Cynthia Bailey, Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams.
According to Buddy TV, Bailey is all for Zolciak joining the show, as long it boosts ratings. “I don’t know what is going to happen in the future,” she stated.
“All the original cast from the Housewives, I always take my hat off to them because they started the whole thing. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. So hey — if it’s gonna make the show better and you want to jump on the team and help keep this show no. 1, then by all means, come.”
Since her departure, the mother of six moved on to star in her own reality show, Don’t Be Tardy, which centers around her family life with former NFL pro Kroy Biermann and their kids. There’s no telling what kind of drama Zolciak will bring to RHOA next season, but there’s a good bet it will involve her family life.

#EMPIRE: Taraji P. Henson Is Glad She Didn’t Land Kerry Washington’s Role In “Scandal”
During a recent interview, Taraji P. Henson and Ryan Reynolds swapped nightmare audition stories. The EMPIRE actress explained that she was up for the role of Olivia Pope in Shonda Rhimes’ ABC hit “Scandal,” which Kerry Washington ultimately nabbed. She said,
I auditioned for Shonda Rhimes for ‘Scandal’. Thank God, Kerry [Washington] got it. It was her job. I think that was the last time I auditioned.
She added,
I’m not that actress that wants to do everything. When I got it [the script], I was like ‘This is Kerry Washington’. That was her blessing.
New Music: Jacob Latimore – Mutual
Jacob Latimore has a hot record on his hands with his new single “The Real,” but that hasn’t stopped the rising star from unleashing a sultry new song off his forthcoming debut album, Connection.
The Milwaukee native holds no feelings back on the honest love song “Mutual,” where he admits to his jealous thoughts, and wants to keep the past in the past for the best of their relationship.
“I don’t want to think about another n**ga touching you / I don’t want to think about another n**ga loving you / And you don’t want to think about another b*tch f**kin’ me / Well you know it’s mutual,” he sings on the hook.
Latimore is currently prepping for the release of his debut album Connection, which is due out Dec. 9, and is available for pre-order on iTunes now.

New Hip Hop New Music: Wiz Khalifa – ‘Washingtons By Your Side’
Wiz Khalifa takes on Hamilton. The Pittsburgh MC interpolates the musical’s “Washington on Your Side” into a money celebration called “Washingtons By Your Side” for the upcoming Hamilton Mixtape.
“People think I got it made just ’cause I’ve got paper,” Khalifa laments on the intro. “I mean, I do got it made but it’s because I made it myself.”
Later, the Taylor Gang boss sings about how that independent spirit has allowed him to triumph.
“I did everything that I want,” he sings. “I still don’t care what anybody else think / Now I can have anything, I ain’t gon’ stunt / And I don’t feel bad ’cause I did it my way / And now they all say / It must be nice / It must be nice / To have Washingtons by your side.”

Rihanna & Prince Harry Celebrates Barbados’ 50 years of independence!
On Wednesday (Nov. 30), Rihanna met Britain’s Prince Harry during a celebration for Barbados’ 50 years of independence from British rule. RiRi, a native of Barbados, was on hand to celebrate the occasion with a series of events, including the Toast of the Nation and an evening concert.
During his visit, Prince Harry explained what a privilege it was to be part of these events. “I am honored to be here representing my grandmother, [Queen Elizabeth II], as we celebrate the historic milestone of 50 years of independence of this beautiful nation,” said the Prince. “Her Majesty visited your beautiful country on the eve of independence in early 1966. The people of Barbados have held a special place in her heart ever since.”
Rihanna is having a big week. Aside from celebrating Barbados’ 50th anniversary of independence and promoting awareness on World AIDS Day, she also took home the Shoe of the Year honors at this week’s FN Achievement Awards and was named Spotify’s most streamed female artist of 2016.

Who Gave Jennifer Lopez That Black Eye?
Jennifer Lopez is currently walking around with one hell of a black eye. But don’t worry, don’t worry, the pop star didn’t get into a bar brawl; rather, the actress was simply putting in work.
The singer and star of the popular NBC drama Shades of Blue shared a snapshot on Instagram of her clean shiner. Naturally, fans were concerned for the 47-year-old, but the beauty made it clear that it was all in a good day’s work.
“Work can be rough…lol,” she captioned the image.
Lopez didn’t further specify exactly how the incident happened, but our guess is she was performing a dope stunt while filming her hit series. But while Lopez is keeping quiet on the details of the injury, she did, however, joke with a few hashtags that we should “see the other guy” and that “I’m a lover not a fighter.”
The mother of two being a lover not a fighter also just might explain why her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, is still in love with her. An insider recently revealed to Us Weekly that the Latin singer “is trying to get back together with her.”
According to the insider, Marc instantly wanted out of his now-failed marriage to Shannon De Lima, after learning that Lopez and her longtime boyfriend, Casper Smart, called it quits.
Lima and Marc ended their two-year marriage early last month and now, it looks like the artist is on the rebound. In fact, he made that pretty clear during last month’s Latin Grammy Awards when he caved to the audience’s request to kiss Lopez, who he was on stage with performing “Olvidame y Pega la Vuelta.”
Lopez and Anthony tied the knot in 2004 and split in 2011. The former couple, who share 8-year-old twins together, are currently working on Lopez’s Spanish album together, set to be released in 2017.
Bradley Cooper, 41, and Irina Shayk, 30, are expecting their first child
A month ago, there was a suspicious story about Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk. Irina and Bradley have been together for a year and a half, and they’ve reportedly moved in together and everything. And E! had a story where “sources” were making a big deal about how Bradley and Irina have “discussed marriage” and marriage might be in the cards for them. Well, guess what? Irina is knocked up! E! News was the first to report the news, which has since been confirmed by People Mag.
It looks like this Victoria’s Secret model just let the cat out of the bag! Multiple sources tell E! News that Irina Shayk is expecting her first child with Bradley Cooper. According to one insider, the pregnant star is in her second trimester and is “so excited” about becoming a mother for the very first time. Bradley’s rep did not respond to requests for comment on the happy news, however, Irina’s rep had no comment.
The 30-year-old Russian model strut her stuff at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris earlier this evening, where she made her runway debut for the lingerie giant in a range of barely-there bras and see-through panties. The mama-to-be also donned a trench coat with one of her runway looks and a red fringe robe with another one of her sexy ensembles. Backstage, she kept her midriff covered up while in a signature pink Victoria’s Secret silk robe while she got runway ready. Even though Irina was joined by a bevy of angels for the actual show today, she was noticeably absent from the plane ride to the City of Light with the other famous ladies earlier this week. However, just one day later, Irina was seen leaving a Paris airport en route to her hotel solo.

Well… congratulations. That’s one way to lock down a guy who seems like something of a commitment-phobe. No, no, I jest. For what it’s worth, Irina and Bradley have always seemed like they’re pretty happy together. There was that minor hiccup when it seemed like they were having a huge fight in the middle of Wimbledon this year, but otherwise, they seem loved up. As for the real #1 woman in B-Coop’s life, sources have always said that his mother Gloria gets along well with Irina. And now Gloria’s going to be a grandmother! I’m sure that pleases her.
