Kenya Moore Says She’s Still Friends With NeNe Leakes And Misses Her On RHOA
Kenya Moore is feeling the love – even for NeNe Leakes! Kenya confirms they’re still friends and praises NeNe for helping to make Real Housewives Of Atlanta such a success.
“NeNe and I have always been friends,” insists Kenya. “There came a point in time when she said we were never friends, you know she’s an emotional person and reactive, but we’ve always had a fondness for each other.” What is Kenya smoking?

“She’s sorely missed,” continues Kenya. “She did a great job on the show. She helped to bring the show to the level of success that we have today and you cannot discount that.” My, my how opinions and perceptions have changed…is NeNe paying Kenya to say all this? Kenya also claims she and NeNe talk “every few days.”
Kenya shares that Cynthia Bailey is handling her divorce from Peter Thomas really well and is ready to move on. “She is really excited to turn 50 and I think she is trying to put anything that’s negative behind her,” Kenya tells People.

“Even though she still loves Peter, it’s just not working out,” Kenya adds. “It’s a great way to divorce – being friends. I think she is in a great situation right now – as good as it can be to be a divorce.”

Mary J. Blige Performs “Thick of It,” Opens Up About Divorce on ‘GMA’
While back in New York City on her “King and Queen of Hearts World Tour” with Maxwell, Mary J. Blige paid a visit to “Good Morning America” for a candid interview and powerful performance.
Backed by her band, the R&B icon delivered an emotionally-charged performance of her new breakup anthem “Thick of It,” which deals with her highly-publicized divorce from Kendu Isaacs.
The Jazmine Sullivan-penned song is the lead single from Mary’s upcoming album Strength of a Woman.

During Wednesday’s episode, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul also sat down with Robin Roberts and opened up about her separation from her husband of 12 years. “My heart is OK. I’m hanging in there,” she said. “No one wants to go through this. This is hard. I’m hanging in there.”
She provided more insight into what led to their breakup. “The breaking point was when I kept asking over and over and over again for respect and to be respected and it just seems like I was beating a dead horse and it seems like I was talking to a wall,” she said. “I just wasn’t getting it back. If I can’t get respect in the relationship, then I have to move on to save myself. That was the point where I’m like, I’m done. I just can’t do it any more.”
But her faith and family have helped her overcome the dark times. “What is God, is prayer, is my family, people that love me, my fans.”

Report: Janet Jackson To Honor Michael Jackson with Baby Name
As she gets closer and closer to giving birth, more details of Janet Jackson‘s pregnancy have been surfacing. The latest report claims that Janet has plans to honor her late brother Michael Jackson with the birth of her child.

The baby’s name will “have something to do with Michael Jackson” claims E! News.
Their source added that Janet’s baby is “due very, very soon” and that she “can’t wait to have the baby.” In fact, Jackson and her husband Wissam Al Mana have already had the baby’s room painted with “soft pastel colors,” though the sex of the baby is unknown to the public.
Concerns about Janet’s health are also being downplayed as the 50-year-old singer is reportedly not experiencing any complications. “The doctors said she is doing well and told her just to take it easy,” said the insider. “She wants to be a healthy mother for her child.”

In April, Jackson postponed her “Unbreakable World Tour” to plan a family. Last month, she confirmed her pregnancy. The baby’s due date is currently unknown.

Remy Ma Denies Nicki Minaj & Foxy Brown Collaboration, Talks Rumored Feud!
Nicki Minaj made headlines last month when she revealed plans for a Remy Ma and Foxy Brown collaboration that she called “super hood and hard.” However, it doesn’t look like the song will actually materialize, according to Remy Ma.

The “All the Way Up” hitmaker, who is currently working on her second solo album Seven Winters & Six Summers, recently stopped by the folks over at Rap-Up HQ with her husband Papoose to dish about her relationship with Nicki and why that particular joint featuring Foxy may never happen.
“No, that was never recorded,” says Remy. “When we discussed it, she actually said, ‘Don’t tell anybody. It’s top secret.’ So the fact that she disclosed that information is beyond me. I don’t think that’s what people wanted to hear, that combination. That was just my personal decision so I didn’t want to do that. [Foxy Brown is] her friend so I can understand that, but I was gone for a long time. If you wanted to do a song with your friend, do a song with your friend. They could have did that song without me. I don’t understand what that was.”
When Nicki revealed the idea behind the track, which she claimed would be produced by Diplo, she also said it was “only a matter of time before” a collaboration with Remy happened. Martin sees that possibility too.
“I think that people recognize her talent and mine,” she says. “That’s probably why they want to see it. It has been a really long time since two women that were actually relevant at the time when they were doing music, did something together, and made history. I think that’s what the people are asking for. I hear it a lot. I get questions about it a lot. I’m just gonna do what I do. I don’t feel that it’s to the point where it’s gonna make or break me.”
Although a possible collab may go down, some still believe there’s beef between the rap powerhouses. Remy says she predicted that would happen long before the feud whispers began.

“When I first came home and she called me, we were talking about working together and things like that,” says Remy. “I told her people are gonna try to pit us against each other any time I say I’m the best or that ain’t none of these bitches fuckin’ with me, they’re gonna think I’m throwing shots at her and vice versa. I told her ‘Don’t let the people get between us being the artists that we are.'”

Throwing undeserved shots at a fellow artist is simply not Remy’s style, she says. “I never felt that it made sense to try to tear down another female that did absolutely nothing to you so you could get up,” she adds. “Never! I never thought that was cool. I will never think that’s cool. I never did that and never had to do that. My talent always spoke for itself.”

Now, she says she hopes for more unity amongst her fellow female rhymers. “Once people start working with each other,” she adds, “And everyone comes down off of their high horses and sets their egos aside or stops listening to the people around them — ’cause a lot of times that be the case too — I think the female industry will be much better off, as far as rappers are concerned. You see these guys, it’s nothing to see a record with Drake, Rick Ross, and French Montana, with all of them being who they are and it becomes huge. Why can’t we have that with women?”
