Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Named Sexiest Man Alive
Congrats to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson! The 44-year-old former WWE champ, who is world’s highest-paid actor, is this year’s Sexiest Man Alive, according to PEOPLE. On learning about his latest title, he says,
"I said, ‘That’s awesome.’ And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is. And then I thought, ‘Wow, we’ve pretty much reached the pinnacle.’ I’m not quite too sure where we go from here. I’ve done it all, this is it."

At 6’5? and 245 lbs., the Herculean star says that as a teen growing up in Hawaii,
"I was doing a lot of things that I shouldn’t have. I was getting arrested multiple times, but at the same time, always very respectful to my teachers and elders. I was unsure of who I was and who I wanted to be."

He continues,"I’ve made big sweeping changes in my career over the years, which have served me nicely. But I feel that the big sweeping changes that happened in my life, in my relationships, of being a dad, of being a partner, and the things that I was and the things that I am, has really lent itself to a confidence"

#RHoA: Kenya Moore Defends Matt Jordan’s Violent Outbursts On Watch What Happens Live
Sandra Bernhard and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore were the guests on Watch What Happens Live. Kenya defends Matt Jordan‘s angry outbursts as simple “immaturity” and also attempts to say one nice thing about Porsha Williams.
Kenya on the baseboard debate. “I have baseboards. I have a modern home. I don’t have trim around the doors, it’s a clean finish.”
On her relationship status with Matt: “We’re working on our relationship. I’ve learned a lot throughout the year about myself and definitely we’re working on it.”  She says he isn’t living at Moore Manor with her.
Andy asks how many strikes she’ll give Matt and mentions that he breaks the windows on her garage in an upcoming episode. “I don’t know. I’m learning as I go and I clearly have love for this man and I see that there are issues that we need work out and that he needs to work on.”
She doesn’t believe Matt has an anger problem. “I don’t think it’s anger, I think it’s different.” She says her Aunt Lori was fine when she took Matt back and “loves” him. In fact she says “everyone” loves him. “They know that he’s a lot younger than me. He’s immature at times. He acts out. He’s 29.” Sandra calls it “Saturn Return” – between 28 and 30 you learn your first big overarching life lessons. Kenya adds, “I feel like that’s where he is. I think he’s never been in a relationship this intense and he’s really in love, but he’s also very immature at times and he acts out.”

On her friendship with Phaedra, “I think it’s a beautiful thing that people can evolve and they can forgive and they can move forward. Phaedra and I started off being friends, so it’s familiar.” She says they’re getting to know each other again.

When pressed to say one nice thing about Porsha that isn’t shady. “She has a good selection of wigs.”
A caller asks Kenya how she knows that Chateau Sheree is in Sheree’s mother’s name. Kenya explains that the house has changed title several times and now it’s in a corporation’s name.
Are Kenya and Cynthia BFFs now that NeNe Leakes is off the show? “Oooh that’s shady! Cynthia and I are great.”

A viewer asks why Kenya can forgive Matt for his violence, but she hasn’t forgiven Porsha. “Totally different. One, someone had a violent occurrence over three times that they initiated it. [Referring to Porsha] Matt hit a window.”

So is Kenya Now Downplaying Matt’s Violent Temper? Should She Forgive Porsha The Same Way?

#EMPIRE: Empire’ Season 3 Episode 6 ‘Chimes at Midnight’ Online: What Will Happen Now That Empire Entertainment Has Been Hacked?
In Empire Season 3, episode 6, which airs at 9 p.m. EST Wednesday, the Lyon family is dealing with a security breach after Empire Entertainment was hacked. The hackers have taken control of several songs by Empire artists, including Tiana and Jamal. However, a cyber security expert has confirmed the personal information of Empire Extreme subscribers, Lucious’ music streaming service, has not been compromised.

Cookie has especially been affected by the hack, as several nude photos she took for her boyfriend, Angelo, were discovered and shared publicly. In an episode 6 promo, Cookie decides to end her relationship with Angelo because he is running for mayor of New York and she does not want this issue to cost him the election.
Meanwhile, Jamal is working with music producer D-Major once more. The two had a brief fling in Season 2 and are flirting with each other once more. The episode 6 synopsis mentions that Jamal is caught in a love triangle. Considering Jamal has not had any other love interests, we can assume that D-Major, a known playboy, is the one seeing someone else.
D-Major expressed concern over Jamal mixing anxiety medication with alcohol. Jamal has been struggling all season in the aftermath of being shot by Freda Gatz. Andre has also urged him to be careful with mixing his medication with alcohol. However, an episode 6 sneak peek shows him trying to wake an unconscious Jamal.

Will Jamal survive his overdose? We will find out more during episode 6 called “Chimes at Midnight,” which is best viewed on television or live online through Fox Now.

New Hip Hop from Gucci Mane & Future Drop ‘Free Bricks 2K16’ Mixtape
Everyone may have been waiting for Gucci Mane and Drake’s joint project, but they didn’t see this one coming. Guwop delivers a major surprise by teaming up with Future for a joint mixtape of their own called Free Bricks 2K16: Zone 6 Edition, which was recorded less than 24 hours ago.

The six-track project, the sequel to 2011’s Free Bricks, finds the Atlanta rappers trading rhymes over production from Metro Boomin, Southside, and Zaytoven.

Fresh off scoring his first No. 1 single with Rae Sremmurd, Gucci explained how the secret tape came together. “Last night, me and Future met up in Atlanta. We ditched our entourages, we didn’t book my usual studio, or his usual studio…it’s like we knew we wanted to fly under the radar,” he told Miss Info. “There was like this positive competition in the room. I’d hear him go in on a verse, and I knew I had to step up.”
Instead of waiting, they decided to deliver it immediately. “He would say, the same back, and we knocked out 6 songs so crazy that I knew we couldn’t just sit on it,” added Gucci. “We talked about recording some more, adding more songs. But I didn’t want to over think it or over plan things. Even Future didn’t think we were dropping this tonight. This is the freshest it can get. These joints ain’t even 24 hours old. That’s like bringing you in the studio with us.”

This marks Gucci and Future’s first collaboration since 2013’s Confused and follows their 2011 joint mixtape Free Bricks.

Next up, Gucci is gearing up to release his solo album The Return of East Atlanta Santa, while Future is working on an album of his own.

Legendary Veteran Washington Journalist Gwen Ifill Dies At 61
Gwen Ifill, one of the most prominent political journalists in the country, has died, according to PBS. She was 61.
When she took the helm of Washington Week in Review in 1999, Ifill became the first African-American woman to host a major political TV talk show. Ifill covered seven presidential campaigns and moderated the vice presidential debates in 2004 and 2008. More recently, she moderated a presidential primary debate between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Ifill was also the best-selling author of The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.

In 2013, Ifill was named co-host of the PBS NewsHour. In an interview with The New York Times, she reflected on what her appointment could mean to a new generation.

"When I was a little girl watching programs like this — because that's the kind of nerdy family we were — I would look up and not see anyone who looked like me in any way. No women. No people of color," she said. "I'm very keen about the fact that a little girl now, watching the news, when they see me and Judy [Woodruff] sitting side by side, it will occur to them that that's perfectly normal — that it won't seem like any big breakthrough at all."

Paula Kerger, president and CEO of PBS, said Ifill was "a fundamental reason public media is considered a trusted window on the world."
"Her contributions to thoughtful reporting and civic discourse simply cannot be overstated," Kerger said. "She often said that her job was to bring light rather than heat to issues of importance to our society. Gwen did this with grace and steadfast commitment to excellence."
In a news conference, President Obama said he appreciated Ifill's reporting even when she posed tough questions to him.
"She always kept faith with the fundamental responsibility of her profession, asking tough questions, holding people in power accountable and defending a strong and free press that makes our democracy work," Obama said.

Journalist Ray Suarez, who began working at NewsHour on the same day as Ifill in 1999, told Here & Now that Ifill was a mix of things.
"She was evenhanded yet tenacious," Suarez said. "She was exteriorly cool, if that's even a word, but at the same time very emotionally and passionately committed to the work she did."
Ifill was a preacher's daughter. She was born in New York City to a Panamanian immigrant father and a Barbadian mother. She started her journalism career as a print reporter for the Baltimore Evening Sun and the Boston Herald American. She went on to become a national political reporter for The Washington Post and the White House correspondent for The New York Times.

Ifill died after a battle with cancer.
