Suicide Squad: the crew lands on the cover of Empire Magazine
To paraphrase Will Smith’s line from the Suicide Squad trailer: “So that’s it, huh? Some kind of Suicide Squad cover of Empire featuring the full team line-up, in a world-exclusive image?” Indeed it is, Paraphrased Will Smith!
This is the third of Empire's exclusive covers to showcase DC's ragtag rogues' gallery of anti-heroes. The first, which featured Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn riding a bomb, Major Kong-style, is exclusive to subscribers, and will be plopping on doormats from today. Another – one of two available on the newsstands – features Jared Leto as the heavily-tattooed Joker, looking suitably mischievous.
The covers are merely the tip of a Suicide Squad-ian iceberg for the new issue, which features tons of coverage on David Ayer’s new DC universe film, including on-set interviews with all the key cast and crew – plus on-set access to Fantastic Beasts, and all the usual filmy goodness you’ve come to expect from the world’s biggest-selling movie magazine.

'Empire' Taps Actress and Singer Sierra McClain for Recurring Role
She will play a singer whom Lucious (Terrence Howard) is eager to sign.
Empire is adding another big voice for season three.
Actress and singer Sierra McClain has been tapped for a recurring role on the hip-hop drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
McClain will play Nessa, Shine's (new series regular Xzibit) loyal protege who, upon first glance, is merely a timid follower to Lucious' former partner in crime. A second listen, however, reveals she is a rare talent with a killer voice whom Lucious (Terrence Howard) is determined to sign to Empire's roster.
McClain joins recently announced season three guest-stars rapper French Montana and music mogul Birdman.
Xzibit made his Empire debut at the end of season two as a rough and tough figure from Lucious' past who carries a chip on his shoulder for the Lyon family patriarch.
"Both of those men are going to feature in major stories in season three," showrunner Ilene Chaiken told THR back in May about how Shine and fellow new character Tariq will figure into the story moving forward. "We're talking about season three as a Godfather-style opus of crime and hip-hop. It's going to be wall-to-wall music, but also all of Lucious' demons coming back to roost."
In addition to her acting credits, which include A.N.T. Farm and Daddy's Little Girls, McClain is a member of the pop and R&B girl group McClain along with her two sisters. She is repped by ICM Partners and Morris Yorn.
The third season of Empire returns on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Justin Timberlake got Slapped By Some Dude!
Justin Timberlake was involved in an altercation of sorts. Over the weekend, a man was arrested after lightly slapping the singer, at a charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. A video has been released of the incident. In the clip, the 35-year-old artist walks through a crowd on the golf course, when it appears that a man reaches out and slaps him on the side of the face. Timberlake turns around to confront the man, asking,
"Bro, why would you do that?"
After walking away, security guards speak to the man who allegedly hit Timberlake.

Yikes! Gladys Knight’s Son Spent Restaurant Money On Pot And Hookers, Employees Say
Gladys Knight’s divorce from her ex-husband record manager Barry Hankerson devastated their son, Shanga, she said in her memoir. At 11 years old, he weighed 320 pounds. Knight may have believed he’d recovered from that childhood trauma, but years later, Hankerson is accused of running the restaurants that carry his mother’s name into financial ruin, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles four Atlanta area restaurant locations have reopened but are now under state receivership.

Fans now wait in hour-long lines at its spot on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta for a taste of the Midnight Train: Four jumbo chicken wings on a golden waffle.
But the outward success of a famous family business unraveled when state revenue agents raided and closed the restaurant chain last month, arrested Hankerson on theft counts, and filed civil racketeering charges against him, alleging more than $1 million in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties. All three locations have since reopened under state receivership.
Now, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned damaging new details about how Hankerson spent the company’s money and treated his employees.
Hankerson siphoned money from his business’s three locations to finance a voracious marijuana habit and sex parties, witnesses have told investigators.
The spending exacted a heavy toll on employees who were shorted on their pay after working under grueling and sometimes unsafe conditions. Managers dug into their own pockets just to keep the restaurant’s doors open for the day, public records and interviews with a dozen former employees and business associates confirmed.
In one case, a general manager — one of Hankerson’s childhood friends — put some $12,000 on his credit card to keep the company’s employee health insurance coverage from lapsing, former employees said.
By the time Hankerson, 38, was booked into Clayton County Jail June 22 on felony theft charges, he had pocketed some $52,000 in state taxes during March and April alone, according to his arrest warrant.
On paper, the company was making $8 million in annual sales, but years of chaos at the Atlanta institution had pushed it to the brink of collapse. Funds were so scarce that managers rushed to cash employees’ bounced paychecks with money from the downtown restaurant’s safe before Hankerson’s representatives arrived to retrieve it, they said.
“I think he was just in it for the money in the end,” said Charles Preston, 63, who worked as a manager at the downtown location for eight years until he quit in April.
Hankerson declined comment through Steve Sadow, one of his attorneys. Gladys Knight did not respond to requests for comment placed through a representative.
Dr. Dre Cuffed, Detained Outside Home After Road Rage Dispute
*Dr. Dre was cuffed and detained outside his Malibu home today after an alleged road rage dispute over a guy blocking his driveway, TMZ reports.
Sources close to Dre said the motorist had pulled off PCH and stopped in front of Dre’s crib. When Dre asked him to move, he did but cussed at the music mogul while doing so. According to the report, Dre pulled into his driveway, but the other driver kept yelling — so Dre pulled out his phone to record video. At this point, the motorist cried “black guy with a gun,” and called the cops on Dre.
Dre sources claim the guy said, “Here we go again, another black guy with a gun.” L.A. County Sheriffs then received a call from the motorist reporting someone had pulled a gun on him.
When deputies responded they put handcuffs on Dre and searched him, but they found no gun, and let him go. However, the guy insisted on making a citizen’s arrest, which means he filled out a report detailing his allegations. The Sheriff’s Dept. will forward his report to the District Attorney — who will decide whether there’s a case.
Dre was not physically arrested by deputies.

When does the woman wave the proverbial white flag and say enough is enough? Do men deserve this type of loyalty?
It’s both parties in a marriage responsibility to show devotion, God and family first, and then decency — and not cheat. If both are doing the latter then no one has time to entertain the opposite sex outside of the marriage.
The Harrises have such a beautiful family. We’ve enjoyed seeing them on VH1’s “TI & Tiny: The Family Hustle” and their vacation videos and photos on social media recently. So it’s simply heartbreaking when we hear news that a father and entertainer we admire so much would betray a woman so devoted. Is he living a double life?
Hillary Clinton stayed even after the semen-stained blue dress. Now she might be the next president of the United States. Tiny could be making some power play moves and we just don’t know it. We’ll see how this plays out.
Famous Pyschic Miss Cleo dead at 53
Miss Cleo, the TV psychic who became famous in the late ‘90s for her catchy commercials, has died, multiple sources has confirmed.
A rep for the Miss Cleo told us she died after a "valiant battle with cancer in Palm Beach, Florida, surrounded by family and close friends."
TMZ reported the 53-year-old had colon cancer and was discharged last week from the hospital to enter hospice care.
The star may be best remembered for her "Call me now" catchphrase.
Born Youree Del Cleomilli Harris, Miss Cleo took on the nickname “The Seer” in recent years and worked as a podcast host, releasing spoken word CDs.
Paris Jackson's Family Planning To Stage An Intervention
The Jackson children haven't had it easy since Michael Jackson's death. In recent times things seemed to have been cooling off with just a few minor headlines here and there.
Radar Online is now reporting that 18 year old Paris Jackson, who spent time in rehab after her father died due to depression, is struggling with a drug addiction that is endangering her life. Though things appeared to be okay since her first rehab stint, reports surfaced today that her family is now planning to take "drastic measures to save her life."
According to Radar, after Paris was photographed carrying a beer while on vacation with her 26 year old rocker boyfriend, she's been causing her family great concern.
