On the magazine front...Raptress Azealia Banks has nabbed a new magazine cover. She’s featured on 1 of the 4 covers of Rogue magazine Issue 3.
While the full cover story has yet to be released, a quote from her cover story has popped up online. The Harlem native told the publication, “If you're going to be an artist, a cultural figure--really be that. Don't try & suck up to whatever the people's plight is. #RHOA: Star Kandi Burruss, talk about being mom ON Mothers Day!
Kandi Burruss a mother of three, has been in the spotlight since she was 16 as a member of the popular group Xscape.
What is it like to raise her children in that same spotlight?
“It’s crazy,” said Burruss, who recently had a son, Ace, with husband Todd Tucker. “Now you have to deal with social media. Back then (with her first daughter, Riley, now 13) social media was not really happening. Some people are so supportive, which is great. Other people are outright rude. … Nobody wants to hear negative things about their children. It really gets under my skin.”
For Burruss and other celebrities, the Internet has made their parenting an open book.
“Fans are invested in everything about you now,” she said. “Back in the day, they just heard your record and saw your video.”
How does she protect daughter Riley, who is on Instagram and Snapchat?
At first, Burruss was hesitant to let her on social media because “people can be really harsh.” She later relented. “I told her she has to have thick skin if she wants to be on social media. … She’s a strong girl and has gotten tough over the years.”
Burruss has a strong support system to help her with the children: her husband, mother, aunts and friends. Sometimes, she and close friends will alternate taking their children to various events, so they don’t miss out on activities while their mothers work. “They were never sitting there thinking, ‘Oh my mom is not really doing anything with me.’ It has helped a lot.”
How does she keep her daughter grounded?
She’s open and explains how hard work allows them a certain lifestyle. “I talk with her about the importance of money and why I have to work so hard,” she said. “You know I have to work this weekend just so you can get this extra this or that.”

Beautiful! “Empire” stars Trai Byers and Grace Gealey tied the knot two weeks ago on Grand Cayman Island in a beautiful and intimate beachside mansion wedding. Now, the lovebirds are traveling overseas on a romantic honeymoon.
The gorgeous couple is enjoying some alone time together to explore Paris, the most romantic city in the world. Ahh…to be in love and to soak up everything in Paris with your mate has to be amazing.
The newlyweds also jetted to Venice to see the Rialto Bridge that spans across the Grand Canal in Italy.

Kanye West, Nas, and French Montana get fly in the desert for “Figure It Out.” The long-awaited music video for their collaboration, which was shot in March, has finally landed.
The rappers hit the Mojave Air & Space Port in California in the Eif Rivera-directed clip, which is filled with airplanes, stunt bikes, and a Rolls-Royce. While sand creates a smoky backdrop, Esco, Yeezy, and French deliver bars about what they can’t quite figure out.
This marks the first time the Wave Gods mixtape cut is commercially available for purchase and it comes out as Montana celebrates big news. On Thursday (May 5), he continued his longstanding bond with Diddy by signing to Bad Boy’s new Epic Records imprint.

#NewMusic: Justin Timberlake – ‘CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!’
Reuniting with producer Max Martin (*NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me”), Timberlake delivers a feel-good jam filled with infectious melodies. “I got that sunshine in my pocket, got that good soul in my feet,” he sings as the bassline hits. “Nothing I can see but you when you dance, dance, dance.”
“CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!” is the first single off the upcoming Trolls soundtrack, due Sept. 23. Timberlake will serve as executive music producer and contribute three additional tracks plus a cover of the 1986 hit “True Colors” with Anna Kendrick. Additionally, JT will voice a troll named Branch in DreamWorks Animation’s 3D film, which is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 4.
In the accompanying video clip, Timberlake is joined by his Trolls co-stars Gwen Stefani, James Corden, and Anna Kendrick, who all dance and sing along to the song.

If that wasn’t enough, he has also been in the studio with Pharrell and Timbaland in recent months, and is reportedly planning to unleash the follow-up to 2013’s The 20/20 Experience in the fourth quarter of this year.
#FORMATION: Beyoncé Adds Additional Dates To ‘Formation’ World Tour
Beyoncé‘s Formation world tour has gotten an additional seven shows added to its North American leg. The new concerts, as well as the the postponed May 5th Nashville show (now on Oct. 2), will follow the tour’s European leg.
According to Billboard, Formation is shaping up to be one of the biggest tours of 2016, and appears is headed toward a total Boxscore that will top an estimated $200 million. A figure close to her Mrs. Carter World Tour of 2013-2014m which grossed $212 million from attendance of nearly 2 million at126 shows.
Her joint On The Run tour with her husband, Jay Z, followed grossing $96 million, from 832,769 tickets sold to just 19 shows in North America.
Tickets for the performances, which include a second show in Houston, Atlanta and Philadelphia, go on sale May 13th.

Lala Anthony, Monica Calhoun, Yvette Nicole Brown Join ‘New Edition’ Biopic
The long awaited New Edition miniseries is getting bigger with each casting update.
As we’ve previously reported, Empire’s Bryshere Gray will will be joined by Elijah Kelley (“The Butler”) as Ricky Bell; singer-songwriter Luke James as Johnny Gill; Algee Smith (“Let It Shine”) as Ralph Tresvant.
Keith Powers (“Straight Outta Compton”) will star as Ronnie Devoe, and Woody McClain (“Autographs”) as Bobby Brown.
Now the mothers of the group members have been cast and we’re loving the choices so far.
Lala Anthony will play Flo DeVoe, mother of the young Ronnie DeVoe, Yvette Nicole Brown will play Michael Bivins’ mother Shirley Bivins, Monica Calhoun is Ralph Tresvant’s mother Patricia Tresvant, Lisa Nicole Carson will play Ricky Bell’s mother Mae Bell and Sandi McCree is Bobby Brown’s mother Carole Brown.

Evelyn Lozada Suffers Second Miscarriage
While out doing promo for the second season of Livin’ Lozada, in an interview with Life & Style, Evelyn Lozada reveals that she lost another unborn baby in 2015.
“I miscarried on Thanksgiving Day,” said Evelyn. “I was like, ‘This cannot be happening to my life again. I was literally miscarrying my baby,” but she kept it quiet because she “didn’t want to dampen the mood.”
The 40-year-old is mom to 23-year-old Shaniece and 2-year-old Leo, with LA Dodgers fiance Carl Crawford.
Although the reality star has faced some challenges, she still has hope to become a mother again. “I love being a mom. After two miscarriages, it makes me want to be a mom even more,” she said.
The new season of Livin’ Lozada premiere Saturday, May 7th at 10/9c on OWN.
Did Katherine Jackson Pressured Janet To Get Pregnant?
Rumor has it, Janet Jackson’s decision to expand her family was because she was pressured by her mother, Katherine Jackson. One of Janet Jackson’s family members tells The Post, that last year, her 86-year-old mother brought up the subject of her having children. The source says,

Reportedly, Katherine is “thrilled” she’ll be a grandmother for the 28th time. The source adds,

This week, news broke that Janet is pregnant. This will be her and hubby Wissam Al Mana’s first child together.

Sinead O'Connor LAUGHS Arsenio Hall's $5 Million Lawsuit Tells him to SUCK HER D*CK!
On Friday, the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer took to Facebook to react to the $5 million libel lawsuit Hall filed against her one day earlier.
"I'm more amused than I've ever dreamed a person could be and look forward very much to how hilarious it will be watching him trying to prove me wrong," O'Connor, 49, wrote. "I'm also very happy to notice that the DEA have taken me seriously enough to be thoroughly questioning all of Prince's friends and aides from the last thirty years as to his KNOWN history of hard drug use and where he obtained his drugs."
"I do not like drugs killing musicians," the post continued. "And I do not like Arsenio Hall. He can suck my d**k. That is if he isn't too busy sucking someone else's d**k : )."
Hall filed the lawsuit after O'Connor posted a lengthy message via Facebook on Monday about his relationship with Prince, who was found dead in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota, last month. The Irish singer's original post read:
"Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's b*tch). Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sheriff's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie Murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave."
In court documents obtained by ET earlier this week, Hall's legal team accused O'Connor of creating "despicable, fabricated lies."
"Desperate, attention-seeker Sinead O'Connor has maliciously published outlandish defamatory lies about comedian Arsenio Hall, falsely accusing him of supplying illegal 'hard drugs' 'over the decades' to the recently deceased musical artist, Prince, and of spiking her with drugs once years ago."
As ET previously reported, the 60-year-old comedian's attorneys also claim that O'Connor's "wild and false accusations" caused substantial harm to Hall's reputation.
"O'Connor is now known perhaps as much for her bizarre, unhinged internet rants as for her music," Hall's legal team wrote. "Among other things, O'Connor has repeatedly admitted that she actually detested Prince during his life, that she had a feud with Prince, and that she once had a violent fistfight with Prince and spat on him repeatedly after she told Prince 'to go f**k himself."
Newsoutlets reached out to Arsenio Hall's reps, who had no further comment on the situation.

Rachel Roy Terrified Of More Beyonce Drama After Shocking Private Emails Are Stolen
Rachel Roy, 42, might be learning the hard way never to put anything in writing! The designer, who was accused of being Jay Z’s alleged ‘other woman’ mentioned on Beyonce’s Lemonade album, has a whole new, but related, set of problems to worry about, as it’s been reported that her e-mail was hacked. And apparently there’s some things in there that will only cause more drama for Rachel if leaked to the public…
Rachel told friends that personal files on her computer have been stolen, according to The Sun. Although the paper doesn’t specify what’s in these e-mails, the source claims that the 42-year-old is worried the information will bring the drama between her, Bey and Jay back to light.
“She has no idea how they’ve been swiped, but is aware how much harm they can cause,” the insider says. “From a personal level, she wanted to distance herself from the furore after initially playing up the link as Jay Z’s rumored other woman. But now she fears the spotlight will be well and truly back on her, Jay Z and Beyonce if these conversations end up online.”
When Beyonce released Lemonade on April 23, she made mention of a woman she referred to as ‘Becky with the good hair’ in a song about a man being unfaithful. That very day, Rachel shared an Instagram photo bragging about her own “good hair,” and fans immediately began speculating that she was the woman in question — especially since she’s been rumored to have gotten too close to Jay Z in the past!
But Rachel eventually shot down the rumors with a statement saying that her “Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted” and that it was “misunderstood as something other than that.”
Beyonce and Jay have yet to comment on any of these allegations or if ‘Becky with the good hair’ is even real, but if these alleged e-mails come out, it might take things to a whole new level…
Netflix Orders Series Adaptation Of Dear White People
Justin Simien’s crowd-funded satirical film, Dear White People, made a splash at film festivals a couple years back. It especially did well at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival where it earned the US Dramatic Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent. Netflix is adapting the critically-acclaimed film for a new series. Simien will write and direct the pilot episode.
“Set among a diverse group of students of color as they navigate a predominantly white Ivy League college where racial tensions are often swept under the rug, Dear White People is a send up of ‘post-racial’ America that also weaves a universal story about forging one’s own unique path.”
Ten 30-minute episodes have been ordered by the streaming service. It’s not clear if any of the original cast members (Tyler James Williams, Tessa Thompson and Dennis Haysbert) will return for the TV series.
