NeNe VS Lunell? They're DRAGGING one another on Instagram?
Oh JEEZ, Luenell Campbell has a
problem with NeNe Leakes, and she’s not afraid to share it with the world.
Leakes isn’t the only celebrity to
venture into comedy without formal training. Television host Wendy Williams
periodically does one-woman comedy shows based on her life.
Both have valid points, and yet, both
are still making money using their talent. So can anyone really be mad at that? H/T Steven Littles #zephraagency
The comedian took to Instagram on
Saturday to address how she feels about reality stars going on comedy tours— in
venues she’s worked hard to get in to.
“I just find it ironic that these
days, it seems like any reality show celebrity or celebrity of any type who
wants to pop up and call themselves a comic, can,” she says. Adding, “But a
comic can’t just pop up and as easily get a show! Anybody can just walk into
our profession, grab $$$ and when they get tired… they just stop and go back to
the comfort of television. If I sound salty, it’s because I am!”
“I’m expecting big things out of her
tonight, and this is just the beginning,” Luenell said before entering
Williams’s Las Vegas show in 2014. Adding, “Because everybody knows, that when
she puts her mind to anything, she knocks it on down.”
Double
standard? Maybe.
And of course Leakes was quick to
respond and point that out.
Leakes says, “I never said I was a
comedian, so be clear about that!” Adding, “I find it ironic that you took the
time to comment on the moves I make but you had no problem helping Wendy
Williams and you had no problem coming on my show filming with Claudia Jordan.”
