HUH? FOX BROWN ENDORSES DONALD TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT!
Jesus take all the wheels! Move over Stacey Dash. Reclusive rap star Foxy Brown said Tuesday that she is back in the studio, but her next release could be a tribute to Donald Trump.
Brown, a lifelong Democrat, who said she loves Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, said she is giving a big shout out to the billionaire presidential front-runner because she is impressed with his ability to get things done.
“No matter how many people sabotage his campaign, it keeps growing and growing and growing,” Brown told the Daily News.
“I know so many people won’t agree with me and will try to change my mind, but I’m a smart girl. I’m excited ... I haven’t been this excited in so long.
“I know people say he’s a racist, but that’s just crazy.”
Rapper Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand, better known by her stage name Foxy Brown, shared exclusively that she is also in support of Republican hopeful Donald Trump on March 15, 2016.
Brown, 37, didn’t detail the extent of her support, but said she would be doing “a lot” for Trump in the coming months.
Earlier, Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, received a key to the city from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams recognizing her as one of the “Leaders of Tomorrow.”
"She got the key for her music not her politics," Adams said.
Brown, who broke into the rap game at age 15, and earned platinum honors with her breakthrough “Ill Na Na” album, has been on hiatus for nearly eight years after a medical issue affected her hearing.
During some of that time, Brown served a jail stint for violating her probation on a charge involving her alleged attack on two Chelsea manicurists. She was also charged with criminal contempt in 2010 for allegedly mooning a neighbor and throwing a BlackBerry at her.
Brown said her hearing is fine now, and is excited about recording and performing again.
She said she turned down millions of dollars from networks who wanted her to do a reality TV show.
“It didn’t make sense for us,” Brown said. “You don't see any of the big stars doing that. Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige didn’t run in that direction. They kept their brand intact. We were like, no thank you. That just wasn’t for us.”
We have an UPDATE. She's now denying that she was endorsing Trump: She said she was at an event where she was being given the key to the city Brooklyn and asked about Trump, Hillary and Bernie and the only thinkg that made it to the press was Donald Trump. She also showed us this. Her proclamation from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams!
Well Foxy we're watching you!
