A$AP Rocky Lands Forbes 30 Under 30 Cover
WOW! Rapper A$AP Rocky nabbed a spot on Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 issue for his love of fashion and being a trendsetter in the fashion industry. The publication dubbed the Harlem native as a fashion mogul, securing a spot for him on the 30 Under 30 Fashion list.
While we knew he was a fashion lover, modeling for DKNY and flexing his dance moves with ex-fiancée Chanel Iman in VOGUE magazine, we didn’t quite see him as a fashion mogul, per se. But, Forbes gave the young rapper the label, so that’s saying something.
In the cover story, the young rap star chops it up about where his love for fashion came about, his plans for AWGE–the creative collective that’s been his main focus of late–and comparisons between it and Kanye West’s DONDA.

Forbes chose 30 tastemakers under the age of 30 in 20 different sectors, resulting in a massive list of 600 of the brightest young entrepreneurs, breakout talents and change agents. Here's a list of just a few others who landed in the 2016 class: Steph Curry, Star Wars star John Boyega, Cam Newton, Mo’ne Davis, Russell Westbrook, Russell Wilson, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, O’Shea Jackson Jr, Jason Derulo, Fetty Wap, The Weeknd, and Schoolboy Q just to name a few.

Singer-songwriter/actor/musician B. Slade drops off a funky video for an equally-funky ditty today called “Alright2016,” a revamp of Janet Jackson’s 1989 hit.
This 2016 re-imagination of the musical legend's song is absolutely breathtaking and gives it a fresh spin. The clip features a light-hearted Slade wearing the popular animal winter hat with the long flaps. While drinking a Corona and chilling on the couch as he plays the keyboard with one hand, Slade decides to get up and bust many moves: from the chill bop, to the old school, Slade breaking it down may be one of the best things you see all day.

Beyoncé Is Not Developing Hottentot Venus Film
Recently, reports stated that Beyoncé was developing a film about Saartjie Baartman aka the Hottentot Venus. However, it seems that this news is false, at least according to Bey’s camp.
“Beyonce is in no way tied to this project,” her representative told Billboard in a press statement. “This is an important story that should be told, however.”
And there you have it. The The Sun, which originally reported the story citing Hollywood “sources,” has some explaining to do.
Kevin Hart Reveals Wedding Date!

2016 Coachella Valley Music Festival Lineup Released
Every year thousands of fans flock to Indio, California for the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and for 2016 there’s no shortage of big name performers.
Per the just-released lineup, bands like Guns N Roses, LCD Soundsystem, CHVRCHES and The 1975 will take the stage for the two-weekend event, slated for April 15-17 and April 22-24.
Furthermore, Calvin Harris, Ice Cube, Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Sia and Gary Clarke Jr have all signed on for the three-day roster.
President Obama Gets Emotional During Gun Control Speech
President Obama addressed the nation today to talk about stiffer gun control measures, an issue that made him emotional. The POTUS shed a few tears as he spoke about the countless victims of mass gun violence, including the children killed when a gunman opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012.
Obama spoke about a plan to expand background checks, amid a room of parent’s and family members of gun violence victims.“Every time I think about those kids it makes me mad,” he said wiping a tear.“And by the way it happens on the streets of Chicago everyday.”

Despite the tears, Obama still faces a major hurdle among Republicans who have criticized the call to action as an infringement on citizens’ rights. “The gun lobby may be holding Congress hostage right now, but they can’t hold America hostage,” he said. “Congress still needs to act. The folks in this room will not rest until they do.”
According to Bloomberg, stiffer background checks wouldn’t have helped stop the San Bernardino, Calif. shooting last month or Sandy Hook, since the firearms in each massacre were obtained legally.

Draya Michele is pregnant!
The actress and entrepreneur is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
“I’m not sure what made me decide to take a home pregnancy test, but I decided on taking two at the same time!” Michele, 30, tells PEOPLE. “They were both positive and I was instantly excited.”
Michele, also mom to 13-year-old Kniko, will welcome her second son in late April. Scandrick, 28, is already dad to 6-year-old twin daughters Taylor and Tatiana.
“We made an appointment to see the sex of the baby for 16 weeks, but surprisingly at 12 weeks, our doctor was able to see that he was a boy,” she explains. “Technology and ultrasound machines are much more advanced then 13 years ago when I had my first child.”
