Folks want to BOYCOTT Star Wars movie over WHITE GENOCIDE?

‘Star Wars’ Boycott: Fans Outraged Over Viral Demand To Ban Film Over ‘White Genocide’
Is a ‘Star Wars’ backlash brewing? One of the top trending topics on Twitter has been #BoycottStarWarsVII. It seems absolutely ludicrous to boycott a ‘Star Wars’ movie, but we’ve learned the  truly ridiculous reasons some fans have for wanting to boycott the new sequel.
One of the top trending hashtags on Twitter today, Oct. 19, is #BoycottStarWarsVII. While Star Wars: The Force Awakens is likely the most anticipated movie of the year by fans all over the world, a small group of white supremacists are making the bizarre claim that the upcoming SciFi epic is an anti-white movie.
The hashtag is obviously quite bizzare and it’s popularity seems to stem more from how many people are mocking it, rather than there being a large number of supporters. The boycotters anger seems to be deriving from the fact that African American actor John Boyega, 23, will be playing the character of Finn, one of the movies main heroes. So what’s the big deal about a black Jedi? Samuel L. Jackson, 66, already broke that barrier when he played the character of Jedi master Mace Windu in the Phantom Menace. Throwing a temper tantrum over a black actor seems very childish to say the least.

However, there might be a more legitimate reason for fans to worry about the new film and it has nothing to do with race. The movie’s new poster has been released and it’s left fans asking one important question: Where’s Luke Skywalker? The poster features new heroes Finn and Rey (Daisey Ridley, 23), as well as classic characters from the original trilogy, Han Solo (Harrison Ford, 73) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher, 64), but the series most iconic character of all isn’t on it! Is this all an evil plan by the Empire or is there another reason that he’s being held back from the artwork? I guess we’ll find out when the film is released on Dec. 18. I can’t wait!
