The Daily Buzz For Aug 12

Ciara Heats Up September 2015 Cover of Shape Magazine
The “Goodies” songstress explains that following the birth of her son, she struggled to lose her pregnancy weight and actually wound up putting on additional pounds- "When I was pregnant with Future [Jr.], one thing I learned quickly was, don't ever let a pregnant lady be hungry, because when I was, I was like the Tasmanian Devil! I indulged in all the good food the world has to offer. After he was born—when I couldn't exercise yet—I kept eating, and I gained 60 pounds. But as soon as the doctor said I could start training again, I was on the treadmill the very next day. Once I got back into it, I worked out two or three times daily. I would go to [trainer Gunnar Peterson] first for my one-hour training session, then I'd have two more cardio sessions later in the day. That, along with a really clean eating plan, was how I lost 60 pounds in four months. It was a very intense program, and I was extremely focused on it."
And when she allows herself a cheat meal, Ciara knows how to make the most of it- "When I'm on a strict eating regimen, at some point I have to have French fries, a cheeseburger and some pizza. And Oreos and vanilla ice cream! I also believe that drinking tons of water and flushing out your system is crucial for training. It really helped me drop the weight. I tell myself that water is my medicine and that to stay well, I have to drink a gallon of it every day. I have a mantra: 'The food isn't going anywhere.’ You know those days when you think you have to have a plate of pasta right now? When I'm trying to be good, I take a minute to ask myself, 'Do you really need to eat all this crazy stuff? It will still be around if you want it Later.'
Sunday Best’s Tiquila Wilson got Kicked Out Of Hotel For Being So Nasty And Rude!
Well Jesus take the wheel! I guess Kim Burrell isn’t the only one on Sunday’s Best with a NASTY DEMEANOR!Well meet contestant Tequila Wilson. And according to Funky Dineva she had a bit of a temper tantrum after her elimination on the show . According to Funky Dineva : Instead of going  home, Tiquila wanted to stay for the tapings of the remaining contestants. Since  she had been eliminated, BET was prepared to send her home, and not house her  for leisure activity. Tiquila allegedly went to the front
desk of the hotel to  inquire about room rates, and that’s when all hell broke loose. After Tiquila was  told that the room would run her around $180 a night, The People say Tiquila  cursed the front desk people out citing that she could stay somewhere much nicer  for that amount. After insulting the hotel, and talking badly to the front desk  staff, management was called in. The People say Tiquila would not stop ranting  and raving, and started going on about how she couldn’t believe that BET would  have them staying someplace “like this.” Eventfully, Management Fish wasn’t  having it. Management  told Tiquila, since she had so many issues with staying at  a hotel “like this,” that she had an hour to pack all her stuff and get out. They went on to say that if Tiquila was not out within the hour, the the entire BET  crew that was in the building would have to leave too. Managerial fish was  smart, she put the earnest on BET to get Tiquila’s rude ass up out their hotel.  Chile the people say BET legal had to get all involved, and smooth things over  to salvage the relationship. The producer I was hunching told me that Tiquila was a bit of a backstage terror too. They say Tiquila was NOT a favorite of non  other than Kim Burrell. He told me that every time Tiquila would see Kim, she  would say “hey twin.” He says that this would get under Kim Burrell’s skin, and  that Kim asked her not to do it in a round about way. Chile, Tiquila didn’t give  no damn, she continues to call Kim Burrell her twin throughout her tenure. If this is true she needs to get this checked and quick! h/t funky dineva

This poor baby was BEAT TO DEATH by his Father as he drove around town!So sad! A Kentucky man was arrested and charged with the murder of his 4-month-old son after he was seen beating the infant while driving on a highway. The infant’s mother, Kimberly Chrystie, told police the baby’s father, Daniel Cox, asked if he could take the boy out for a visit Thursday, according to WLKY-TV. Chrystie told police Cox was gone with their son for 2 hours. Shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, a family spotted a man in a gold Mercury Grand Marquis beating an infant in a car seat. Dena Stevenson told WLKY-TV the man was driving while beating the child about the chest and face. Stevenson said she followed behind the Marquis for miles, and watched helplessly as the man beat the child. Officers began searching for the car in Radcliff, KY, about 45 miles south of Louisville. 15 minutes later, Cox pulled up to Chrystie’s residence, handed the boy over to her and fled in the Marquis.Chrystie said Jayceon was “black and blue and unresponsive; he had no pulse and his eye was swollen shut.”
Chrystie said she screamed when she saw the condition her son was in.
“He dropped my child off almost two hours later, beat up all black and blue,” she wrote in a protective she filed against Cox Friday. “I called 911 as soon as I seen my son.”
Police caught up to Cox in Louisville. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with assault.
Jayceon, who was transported to a hospital in Louisville, was declared brain dead and taken off life support on Saturday. Cox’s charge was upgraded to murder.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Robert Fraction said the cause of death was “inflicted traumatic injury to the head.”

A judge set Cox’s bond at $500,000. His next court hearing is Friday.
Alcohol Beverage Control Agents Cleared Of Violation Of Policy In Martese Johnson Brutality Case
Wow!! Another case of law enforcement personnel not being held accountable for their actions. This makes me very concerned because the activities of those who are in positions of authority seem to lack compassion & empathy while in the course of “doing their jobs”.
At no point is it acceptable to slam someone against a wall or the ground. These agents were deemed cleared because the organization says they did things “by the book”. Interestingly enough the final report will not be released to the public. Why not?? What are they hiding?? If the agents did nothing wrong, release the report. Eventually the TRUTH will come out.
The Virginia liquor agents who bloodied a University of Virginia honor student during a March arrest have been cleared of wrongdoing.

The three Alcoholic Beverage Control Department officers returned to work after an independent report by the Virginia State Police determined the agents “did not violate agency policy” when they arrested Martese Johnson outside of a bar on St. Patrick’s Day.
Johnson, who was detained due to a discrepancy with his identification card, was charged with public intoxication and obstruction of justice. The charges were later dropped in June by a prosecutor who said “the interest of justice is not served by further prosecution of the defendant,” NBC reports.
During the arrest, Johnson suffered a gash to his head that required a number of stitches. The incident was caught on tape by Johnson’s classmates. Growing concern over the treatment of the student prompted Gov. Terry McAuliffe to launch an investigation into the arrest.
From NBC: The agents involved in Johnson’s arrest were restricted to “administrative duties” during the review, according to an ABC statement released in March.
The ABC said training “in areas of use of force, cultural diversity, effective interaction with youth and community policing,” also ordered by McAuliffe, had been completed ahead of schedule. The training lasted two weeks, the ABC said.
The independent report will not be released to the public.

Rosie Perez to ‘The View’ Kiss my A##!
Rosie Perez canceled her last appearances on The View after being forced to apologize to Kelly Osbourne for her anger at her co-star's racist remark about Latinos,
Rosie refused to turn up for her two, final live shows last week and skipped several, pre-taped appearances after having an intense blow-up with ABC executives over Kelly's on-air comment.
Kelly, 30, caused outrage after asking: 'If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?' during a Hot Topics segment about Donald Trump's poll numbers within the community last Tuesday.
A silence fell over the studio audience as other co-hosts were clearly taken aback. After a pause, Rosie, who has Puerto Rican heritage, mumbled: 'Oh, that's not... oh, no!' and shook her head in disbelief.
The View's Raven-Symone then told Kelly: 'There's more jobs than that he can use them for.'
Sensing things were tense, The Fashion Police host attempted to clarify: 'In a sense, you know what I mean? In L.A. they always...' But before she could finish, Rosie had calmed enough to finally check her.
'Latinos are not the only people doing that,' explained Rosie, looking straight at Kelly.
Kelly backtracked and tried to elaborate. 'I didn't mean it like that! Come on, I would never mean it like that. I'm not part of this argument," she contested.
As the tension built, moderator Whoopi Goldberg stepped back in and tried to take control of the segment, before ultimately going to commercial break.
When the cameras cut away, the daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and The Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne burst into tears. 'Everyone is going to think I'm racist. I can't believe this,' she cried, as producers of the show and her personal handlers ran to her side.
At the time, ABC execs cornered Rosie during the break and demanded she apologize to Kelly in the last segment of the live broadcast
ABC executives then gathered in Rosie's room and demanded that she tweet an apology to her co-star.
She told them: 'I've already done more than enough by apologizing on air,' before a loud argument took place. So she QUIT! And GOOD FOR HER!

NEW MUSIC: SWV returns with 'Ain't No Man,' announces new album
SWV have returned. The New York R&B trio released a lush ballad, “Ain’t No Man,” Friday that picks up their ’90s R&B aesthetic right where they left off. Since reuniting in 2005, the R&B trio has only released 2012’s I Missed Us, but they also announced that “Ain’t No Man” will be part of a fresh studio effort due out October 30.
Check out “Ain’t No Man” here!

For the uninitiated, SWV—short for Sisters With Voices—broke through in 1992 with a multi-platinum debut It’s About Time. The album featured multiple R&B chart-toppers hits, including the classic “Right Here,” which you might recognize from the Free Willy soundtrack. The group split in 1998 and reformed in 2005.
