It appears that Foxy Brown was in tears just before Lee Daniels called her to offer her a spot on the hit TV show Empire. Producers BEEF! Harmony Samuels Responds To Jermaine Dupri’s Comments On Ciara’s R&B Smash “I Bet”
Ciara’s “I Bet” struck an instant chord with fans when it dropped in late January, but Jermaine Dupri was less impressed. The hitmaker called it a “rip-off of Usher’s ‘U Got It Bad’” in an interview with the AP, saying: “I’m clear on what I made and I’m clear on how music influences people… It might not be as evident as the ‘Blurred Lines’ situation, but I believe the same thing happened to me.”
Harmony Samuels, the producer of CiCi’s platinum-selling hit, initially kept quiet about Jermaine’s comments, but addressed the situation when I spoke to him in early July. (Full interview to come shortly). “I was miffed because I was like, ‘What?’ But at the same time you know what it is? Music is a cycle,” he explained. “Things repeat but they are still completely different.”
“That’s why I never responded,” the Brit continued. “Everybody was like, ‘Harmony, what do you think?’ I said zip.” Not that there’s any bad blood. “I love Jermaine Dupri. He’s in my top ten of producers,” Harmony reveals. “So when he said it, I said ‘I can understand why you feel that way. But it’s not true, so have a good day. I love you.’ And the following week, Usher was in the studio and I was kinda like, ‘There you go.’ He didn’t say shit.”

Timbaland’s Estranged Wife Entitled To ‘Empire’ Worth $70 Million
Timbaland’s wife, Monique Mosley, filed for divorce from the famed producer back in October 2013, and at the time she demanded that he pay child support for their daughter and Monique’s child from a previous relationship.
A year later, according to court docs, the divorce case was quietly dismissed. However, it appears their reconciliation couldn’t save the marriage. According to Bossip, Monique has filed for divorce again.
The couple have been together for 12 years and married for seven. The impending divorce entitles Monique to Timbaland’s hefty fortune. When she filed back in 2013, he was worth an estimated $70 million. Has he since been hired as the executive music producer for FOX’s hit drama series, Empire.
In the same week that the first season of the musical drama ended, its soundtrack debuted at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, making it the first TV series soundtrack to top the 50-year-old list.
In her initial filing, Monique demanded alimony and child support for their daughter, as well as for her child from a previous relationship, stating Timbaland is the daddy by default since he’s “publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own.”
Monique’s specific reason for wanting out of the relationship has not been disclosed. The divorce was filed in Florida court and Timbaland has yet to respond to the petition. Meanwhile, Timbaland previously announced his work on Missy Elliot’s new album at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards last month. He revealed Elliott’s new single would be a collaboration with rapper/producer Pharrell Williams.
“I love my sister to death,” he told the crowd. “I know the tabloids love to talk, and I’m going to say it now,” he said, “Her first single is from my cousin—and yes, we are family—Pharrell.”
New details on the Chris Brown Mansion Robbery and His Mom SPEAKS OUT!
Chris Brown was the victim of a home invasion Wednesday morning around 2am. Chris and little Royalty weren't home, but his aunt was terrorized and held at gunpoint!
According to TMZ, three-armed perps -- who LAPD say targeted this home knowing it was Chris' -- forced their way into the mansion (seen above) this morning. They held Chris' aunt at gunpoint, ordered her into a closet and then proceeded to ransack the house in search of money, jewelry and other items.
Chris was photographed (shirtless) at the Argyle Club during the time of the robbery (above).
Once the robbers left, Chris' aunt called 911 and cops hurried over to the mansion, but the crooks were long gone! So far.....Chris has not talked about the incident on social media and we don't expect him to. This is a sensitive issue for his family and the police are still investigating.

In fact, this is one of the reasons their relationship is estranged. She even threw a lil' mom shade on the situation via Twitter,

DA Preparing to File Manslaughter Charges Against Caitlyn Jenner in Fatal Car Crash
Police investigating February’s fatal car crash involving Caitlyn Jenner’s SVU have turned over their findings to the Los Angeles County District Attorney ther week, an insider confirmed to Radar Online.
That means charges may potentially be filed against Jenner in the same week her reality show debuts on E! Network.
Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade plowed into the back of Kimberley Howe’s car, sending her car careening into oncoming traffic where she collided head on with another vehicle. Howe was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jenner’s lawyers are in talks with the DA’s office begging them to hold off on filing charges at least until after her show premieres.
But a police source told Radar Online Jenner “did cause the death of the other motorist, Kimberly Howe,” and for that, “Caitlyn has to be held accountable.”
E! paid Jenner a reported $5 million to throw open the doors of her home to reality show cameras for an “unfiltered” look into her “transition” from former Olympian to a 65-year-old transwoman.

Judge Trims $2 Million Off ‘Blurred Lines’ Settlement, But New Trial Denied
A judge on Tuesday trimmed more than $2 million from a verdict against Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams over their hit “Blurred Lines,” but Marvin Gaye’s family will also get a significant share of future earnings from the 2013 hit song.
U.S. District Judge John A. Kronstadt ruled that the copyright infringement verdict a jury reached in March should be cut from nearly $7.4 million to $5.3 million. The judge’s ruling, however, gives Gaye’s family 50 percent of the song’s future royalties.
Kronstadt’s 56-page ruling dealt with several post-trial issues, including a request by Thicke and Williams’ lawyers for a new trial. The judge rejected that motion, and also refused to issue an injunction requested by Gaye’s family that would have temporarily blocked sales and performance of “Blurred Lines.”
The jury in March sided with Gaye’s family, who contended “Blurred Lines” copied Marvin Gaye’s 1977 hit “Got to Give It Up.”
Jurors found that rapper T.I., who received songwriting credit and a share of the royalties, did not commit copyright infringement, but Kronstadt ruled Tuesday that other elements of the jury’s verdict mean he must be included in the judgment.
Howard King, an attorney for Thicke and Williams, said he was still reviewing the ruling and had no immediate comment.
“Mr. Thicke and Williams, and their legal team, among others, went on a public relations campaign after the jury’s verdict criticizing the verdict and saying the evidence did not support the finding of copyright infringement, and did not believe the decision on liability would therefore stand,” the Gaye family’s attorney, Richard Busch, wrote in a statement. “The judge who actually heard all of the evidence disagreed. I am thrilled for the Gaye family, and the thoughtful members of the jury, who had to listen to all of that while remaining silent.”
Busch said he and his team were reviewing the ruling and would discuss options for how the reduction in the verdict would be handled.

According to NY Daily Confidential: The boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon, was officially served with a $10 million lawsuit accusing him of beating Brown and stealing from her after her dire medical crisis.
Gordon was leaving a Starbucks in Longwood, Fla., north of Orlando, clutching a large whip cream-topped Frappuccino, on Sunday when a process server appeared and shoved a manila envelope in his hands.
He spent the next several minutes scrolling through his phone as the envelope sat on a chair across the table.
Glory Johnson Seeks $20K A Month In Spousal Support From Brittney Griner
Court documents filed on June 29 in Maricopa County, Arizona, show that Glory Johnson is requesting that Brittney Griner (who filed to their marriage) pay $20,000 per month in spousal support, plus a $10,000 advancement toward attorney fees for her counsel.
According to ESPN, an evidentiary hearing has been set for August 17 at Maricopa County Central Building in Phoenix; regarding Brittney’s petition and Glory’s counter-petition.
More from ESPN: Johnson’s attorney, Stasy Click, wrote in the June 29 filing that Griner has “far superior control over the family’s financial resources” and that Johnson is “without the necessary financial means to pay for legal representation in this matter.” Neither Johnson’s nor Griner’s attorney returned calls to espnW on Monday.
In that June 5 petition, Griner said she was unaware when the in vitro fertilization resulting in Johnson’s pregnancy had taken place. She said the marriage was “based on fraud” and that the parties had acquired “minimal community property and incurred minimal community debts during their three-week marriage.” Griner and Johnson were engaged in August 2014.
Last month, Glory announced that she is pregnant with twins. “For 15yrs Double-Doubles came with hardwork and dedication…now I’ve been blessed by God to have “double doubles” for the rest of my life!” she wrote.
