‘Southpaw’ Stars 50 Cent And Jake Gyllenhaal Cover Vibe’s August 2015 Issue
After posing for Muscle & Fitness magazine, 50 Cent lands on the cover of another publication. This time around he’s sharing the digital cover of Vibe’s August issue with his Southpaw costar, Jake Gyllenhaal.
““I’m only getting younger out here,” 50, who Vibe says will either arrive on time or be there early, said as he entered the office space for his cover shoot. “I’m turning 40 in July, then every year after that I’m going down a year like Benjamin Button!”
He and Jake rock dapper looks for the shoot, and also switch it up to casual.
In their interview, the fellas talk the upcoming sports drama thriller about a one-time boxer (Jake Gyllenhaal) who fights his way to the top, only to find his life falling apart around him.

From OK Magazine: The Real Housewives of Atlanta is preparing to celebrate its 100th episode with a special dedicated to our favorite Georgia peaches of the past and present. But according to reports, former housewives Shereé Whitfield and Lisa Wu have dropped out of taping for the show due to some series salary drama.
Whitfield and Wu -- who are both members of the show’s original cast -- were reportedly on board when first presented with opportunity, the reports detail. However, conflicts over their salaries for the special led the ladies backing out of taping for the episode
And the reports added that the ladies also convinced their fellow original housewife DeShawn Snow to also drop out of the taping since she had reportedly initially agreed to do it for free.
'Empire' Launches Singing Contest With Season 2 Appearance As the Big Prize
The Lyon family comes together to record a legacy album in the "The Lyon's Roar" episode of Empire airing Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 on FOX.
Fox's breakout hit Empire just announced a new contest -- and the big prize is an appearance on the smash hit show. A nationwide bus tour is kicking off Thursday, July 16 in Los Angeles.
"The gold Empire bus, outfitted with a one-of-a-kind recording studio, will travel to 15 cities across the country, giving fans the opportunity to record their versions of Empire’s biggest hits. In addition, fans recording songs will also have the opportunity to record an a cappella version to submit in the FOX’s Next EMPIRE Artist contest, in which one lucky winner will appear as an Empire artist during Season Two," according to a press release from the network.
The “FOX’s Next Empire Artist” bus will travel to Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; St. Louis, MO; Dallas, TX; New Orleans, LA; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC; New York, NY; and Boston, MA.

REALLY? Is Jay Z, Beyonce Purchasing Rights To own The Confederate Flag?
Earlier this week, it was widely reported that Jay Z and Beyonce were purchasing the rights to the Confederate flag. The story originated from a website called NewsWatch33 who “spoke” with the couple’s lawyer about the political statement and savvy business move.
“My clients are adamant about purchasing the rights to the Rebel Confederate flag,” their lawyer Ralph Hammerstein allegedly told NewsWatch33.
“They have expressed deep concern regarding the flag and how it is tearing apart our nation. Mr. and Mrs. Carter wants to assist in the abolishment of the flag by purchasing the resell rights to the Confederate flag. If my clients are successful, purchasing the rights would mean that anyone who wants to produce merchandise using the Confederate flag would have to get permission from Mr. and Mrs. Carter. My clients have expressed that they are not looking to profit from the use of the flag, but rather prevent any further use of the flag on merchandise.”
That report went viral, but not many people bothered to fact check its origins. If they had, they would have learned NewsWatch33 is a bogus website. The “outlet” also erroneously reported that Dylann Roof received $4 million in donations for his legal defense fund.
That report, as well as this the Carters article, are false.
OOPS! CAUGHT ON VIDEO: New Footage Alleges Benzino And Althea's "LAHH ATL" Marriage Proposal Was FAKED For TV!
We've known for a while that many reality shows "fake" scenes or "re-create" scenarios, and now we've got some alleged video proof. Earlier this week, former "LAHH ATL" stars Althea Heart and Benzino revealed that they're expecting a son. While the news was met with a mix of approval and shade (watch Althea combat Instagram trolls here), it made fans question the couple's intentions. Is the marriage real? Is Thea really pregnant?
Now....someone is out to prove that they faked their tv proposal. The clip below shows two scenarios. From what we gather, the FIRST half was the actual proposal. Thea looks genuinely surprised. The second half (which aired on "LAHH"), is what seems "re-created."
What does this prove? Hmmm....it doesn't prove anything we didn't already know. But it does make us question all of these scenes that social media really gets hyped up about. The fighting...the cheating...the back-stabbing...is something a "reality" it if has a script and 20-man camera crew?

Did Kanye West’s Album Leak Online?
Kanye West’s forthcoming album, Swish, apparently leaked online on Tuesday night all thanks to a Reddit user. Redditor dxnxixlrxsxnxbxrx posted audio on Tuesday from what was said to be Yeezy’s labor of love. The audio was allegedly taped while outside of the rapper’s listening party. The user also claims that the audio, which was extremely unclear and horrific quality, “wasn’t from an audience member.”
“There’s a lot of vocal samples in this album,” the user wrote. “A lot of them sound like they were taken from old movies based on the tone of their voice.”
The audio has since been removed from the site, but Complex released the project’s apparent track list, which includes features by Big Sean, Bruno Mars and Paul McCartney.
Ye has not responded to the apparent leak.
K.Michelle Reveals Her New London Bae -- Meet Locksmith Rudimental
K. Michelle has been gushing about a new boo for a few months now. She previously revealed he's based in London, and she even spoke last month about picking up and moving there herself in the near future .

OOPS DC! Federal Judge Orders Cancellation Of Washington Redskins Trademark Registration
There’s protests and ongoing talks about the Washington Redskins name, with many people feeling like it should be changed while ownership has tried several ploys to prove it isn’t offensive. Well another step has been taken in support of the former as a federal judge in Northern Virginia ordered the cancellation of the Washington Redskins federal trademark registrations on Wednesday.
Reports IFWT: The decision comes 12 months after the United States Patent and Trademark Office canceled the Redskins’ trademark registration because it considered the team’s name “disparaging to Native Americans.”
More from the Post:The cancellation doesn’t go into effect until the Redskins have exhausted the appeals process in the federal court system. But even if the Redskins ultimately took the case to the Supreme Court and lost, the team can still use “Redskins” and seek trademark protections under state law. The team has argued, however, that a cancellation of its trademarks could taint its brand and remove legal benefits that would protect against copycat entrepreneurs.
U.S. District Judge Gerald Bruce Lee’s decision affirmed an earlier ruling last year by the federal Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, which voted 2-to-1 that “Redskins” was offensive to Native Americans and ineligible under the Lanham Act for status in the federal trademark registry.

Rick Ross – More Legal Troubles for Rapper, Woman Sues Him for Body Disfigurement
Some not so good legal news for Rick Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts II). As you know, the 39-year-old Maybach Music founder has been arrested twice this year alone … and adding to his troubles is a lawsuit in which a woman blames the rapper for her body disfigurements caused at his Florida home.
A woman named Norbert Martins filed suit against Rick Ross and his mother Tommie claiming she suffered disfigurement while at the rappers Florida home.
Martins explains that on December 19th 2011, she was invited to the home owned by Rick Ross and his mother. She says that both were negligent in keeping the property safe for the guests.
The lawsuit says due to their lack of care, she tripped and injured herself due to a iron yard enclosure hardware and its attachments being at ground level.
The woman claims that trip caused her serious injuries including bodily injuries, disfigurement, expense for hospitalization, medical, nursing and treatment costs along with the loss of ability to earn income. She filed suit demanding in excess of $15K.
Ross fired back recently, claiming he had no duty to warn the woman of any possible dangerous conditions at his home. He says her lawsuit is so vague and ambiguous that he doesn’t even know how to respond to the allegations. The case is still pending in Florida court.

He's been in more than a couple movies and tv shows about marriage...and now he's a married man again himself. Michael Jai White got hitched to his actress wife Gillian Waters over the weekend in the tropical location of Thailand. Must be nice...
Dressed in all white and cream, the couple wed at the multi-acre riverfront estate of their good friend and film producer, Michael Selby. They exchanged vows surrounded by their children, family and close friends.
Gillian wore a custom gown by Milan Bangkok, topped off with a 10-carat engagement ring with a diamond and platinum band.
Their ceremony was definitely a lavish one as it featured fireworks, an obligatory, elephant parade, belly dancers, drone airplanes (why not?) and a lavish dinner reception. At said reception, guests noshed on Pad Thai, jumbo prawns, crab fried rice, curried chicken, and a custom three-tiered cake from a famous Bangkok bakery.

The couple are currently on honeymoon on the Indian Ocean in Krabi Province and will host a California reception one they return. By the way, the twosome get to continue the honeymoon as they will star in the upcoming film Never Back Down 3 together.
