Ever since Caitlyn Jenner, 65, made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, many have been waiting for her to find love. Sources I know attended the screening of her new docu-series, I Am Cait, which showed the moment when Caitlyn gets asked out on her first date as a woman by gorgeous transgender actress, Candis Cayne, 44! Here’s the scoop.
There’s plenty to look forward to in E!‘s groundbreaking series, which chronicles Caitlyn’s inspiring transition into becoming a woman. We get to experience the emotional highs and lows, and with that, of course, comes love! Caitlyn will get asked out by Candis on an upcoming episode of the series. After the first episode airs, the promo for the next episode will show Ronda Kamihira helping Caitlyn look for bathing suits, saying she needs a “sexy one” for Candis — to which Cait replies, “I’m not going there.” However, another scene shows Candis asking Cait, “Would you like to go out on a date?” We’ll just have to wait to hear Cait’s answer, but something in our gut says she’ll accept!
Caitlyn has been spending a lot of time with Candis lately, and we’ve learned that they have a “deep emotional connection.” Caitlyn has been an amazing influence in the transgender community, and Candis has totally been right there with her! The ladies made a show-stopping appearance at NYC Pride together on June 28, and have been inseparable. In addition to Caitlyn finding love, we will also get to see tons of other amazing moments of Cait being her “authentic self.” In fact, we get to see Kylie Jenner, 17, meeting Caitlyn for the first time via Facetime!
I Am Cait premieres Sunday, July 26 at 8 p.m. on E!
