COMFIRMATION! NeNe Leakes Is Leaving R.H.o.A 'I Feel Like a Weight Has Been Lifted
You're going to need a glass of wine for this one. After nearly eight drama-filled years on Bravo's hit Real Housewives of Atlanta, fast-talking fan favorite NeNe Leakes is calling it quits, in an interview she gave to PEOPLE
Leakes, 48 – arguably the network's biggest star, who's been with the show since its inception – will not be returning for season 8. She says there comes a time when enough is enough.
"This was definitely a hard decision for me," Leakes tells PEOPLE. "Me and my husband [Gregg Leakes] have been going back and forth on it for weeks now. But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time. This is my opportunity to spread my wings and do different things."
The announcement comes with the news that Leakes will soon be focusing on totally new projects.
"I'm actually going to be doing a new primetime television show with a big legend," Leakes teases of the series she begins filming this week. "All of my fans will get to see me be really happy, witty and funny and tell all of those one liners that I always have said on Housewives."
It's a positive new direction that the mother of two is more than happy to take.
"I feel a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders," says Leakes, who throughout the years was the center of many arguments and altercations on the show.
"There were times when I was a target," she says. "I won't miss the negativity."
But will she be missed?
"I think some of the girls will be happy," Leakes says. "They always felt like I was the star, and they were never able to really shine with me there, so here's their opportunity to shine."
But lest they get too comfortable, "I'm not saying I'm gone forever," Leakes warns. "I'll probably pop up and play with those girls every now and then."

Diddy Announces The "Bad Boy Family Tour"!
Bad Boy fans from across the globe are still talking about last night's celebration of Sean Diddy Combs during the 2015 BET Awards. Bringing out Faith Evans, Mase, Jadakiss, French Montana and Lil Kim, Puffy celebrated 20 years of hits from the Bad Boy Family. Naturally, Sunday’s performance sparked tour inquries and Diddy confirmed them via social media.

While we're not sure who'll hit the road with Diddy, there is a similar Bad Boy tour already on the road. MASE, THE LOX, MARIO WINANS, 112 & TOTAL are already hitting select cities with the "Reunion Tour Experience 2." They're all set to hit Foxwoods Casino on August 22nd.

Lee Daniels Signs Overall Deal with 20th Century Fox TV
The co-creator of “Empire” has signed a multiyear overall deal with the studio, it was announced Monday.
Under the pact, he’ll remain an executive producer on the smash hit, which he also directs. He will also develop, write, direct and supervise new projects for the studio under his Lee Daniels Entertainment banner.
The studio’s move to lock him down was inevitable, given “Empire’s” tremendous success. It’s the No. 1 scripted series on broadcast of the 2014-15 season and ranks as the highest-rated broadcast drama in seven years.
“Lee Daniels has a gift for telling authentic, provocative stories that are both truthful and wildly entertaining,” said Fox TV Group chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman. “His casting instincts are incredible, whether he is discovering tomorrow’s stars or attracting the most accomplished performers to his projects. As a director, he elevates world class material to even greater heights, balancing heart-wrenching poignancy with surprising moments of levity that are over the top and fun. Quite simply, we love working with this inspired storyteller, and this deal is about extending and deepening our relationship.”
Added Daniels: “I’m incredibly excited to continue my relationship with Dana and Gary and the rest of the Fox team. I’m looking forward to developing content and finding alternative voices for both in front of and behind the camera.”
Twentieth TV also signed “Empire” showrunner Ilene Chaiken to a rich overall deal in May.
In addition to “Empire,” which went back into production last week, Daniels is also set to helm an untitled Richard Pryor biopic for the Weinstein Company.

Sorry Bey and Jay, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been crowned by Forbes as 2015’s Highest-Paid Couple, kicking Beyonce and Jay Z out of the No. 1 spot on the list of the world’s highest-paid celebrity couples.
Swift and Harris (Tayvin, for us dedicated fans) cashed in a cool $146 million in the last year, dethroning Bey and Jay, who secured the second spot with $110.5 million.

OOPS! Michael B. Jordan Denied Entrance To Diddy’s After Party!
Michael B. Jordan was denied entry to Diddy’s BET Awards after party at BOA in West Hollywood and here’s photos of the entire incident going down.
Sources connected to the restaurant tell us that the actor couldn’t get in because it was at capacity. As seen in the photos, Diddy even came to the door to see if he could work his magic, but no can do.
It’s too bad too because Jordan was dressed to the nines.
