EDUCATIONAL RACISM? Duke University Professor on Leave After Racist Online Comments Spark Outrage
A Duke University professor has reportedly been placed on leave after posting racist comments online that included talk of “the blacks” and “the Asians.” Jerry Hough commented on a New York Times editorial titled “How Racism Doomed Baltimore” with a six-paragraph screed that seemed to suggest Asian Americans don’t riot because “they didn’t feel sorry for themselves, but worked doubly hard.” He also appeared to make a link between the Baltimore riots and a contention that “every black has a strange new name that symbolizes their lack of desire for integration” compared to “every Asian student [who] has a very simple old American first name.”

Hough told both the local ABC and Fox affiliates that he was on leave after his comments, in which he identified himself as a Duke professor, raised uproar on campus. In emailed statements, the political science professor defended his comments, saying “Martin Luther King was my hero” and insisting he is “strongly against the toleration of racial discrimination.” The key question, though, according to Hough, “is whether my comments were largely accurate. In writing me, no one has said I was wrong, just racist.”

The university has refused to comment on the professor’s situation at the school, although it did distance itself from the professor’s words. “The comments were noxious, offensive, and have no place in civil discourse,” said Duke vice president for public affairs and government affairs Michael Schoenfeld. “Duke University has a deeply-held commitment to inclusiveness grounded in respect for all, and we encourage our community to speak out when they feel that those ideals are challenged or undermined, as they were in this case.” The comments caused particular outrage at the university because they came only a few weeks after a noose was found hanging in a tree, notes the News & Observer.
Hough’s full comments in the New York Times:
This editorial is what is wrong. The Democrats are an alliance of Westchester and Harlem, of Montgomery County and intercity Baltimore. Westchester and Montgomery get a Citigroup asset stimulus policy that triples the market. The blacks get a decline in wages after inflation.
But the blacks get symbolic recognition in an utterly incompetent mayor who handled this so badly from beginning to end that her resignation would be demanded if she were white. The blacks get awful editorials like this that tell them to feel sorry for themselves.
In 1965 the Asians were discriminated against as least as badly as blacks. That was reflected in the word "colored." The racism against what even Eleanor Roosevelt called the yellow races was at least as bad.
So where are the editorials that say racism doomed the Asian-Americans. They didn't feel sorry for themselves, but worked doubly hard.

I am a professor at Duke University. Every Asian student has a very simple old American first name that symbolizes their desire for integration. Virtually every black has a strange new name that symbolizes their lack of desire for integration. The amount of Asian-white dating is enormous and so surely will be the intermarriage. Black-white dating is almost non-existent because of the ostracism by blacks of anyone who dates a white.
It was appropriate that a Chinese design won the competition for the Martin Luther King state. King helped them overcome. The blacks followed Malcolm X.

Well he is WRONG and needs to be FIRED!

Rick Ross Sued Over A Jay Z Photo
Rick Ross is getting sued over the use of an unauthorized Jay Z photo. It’s thanks to the same photographer who went after Rozay last year for the use of his work on CD covers, ads and social media.
Reports TMZ:
Rick just got sued by a photog named Armen Djerrahian, and in the docs he says he took a pretty famous photo of ‘Hova back in 2003. The image shows Jay throwing up the roc — the popular hand gesture representing his label … Roc-A-Fella Records.

Djerrahian says the shot popped up in Ricky Rozay’s new music video for his song, “Movin’ Bass” .. which features Jay Z. We checked, and he’s right … it does — but only in a montage highlighting Jay’s success.
It’s on-screen for fractions of a second, but those milliseconds could cost Rick and his label, Def Jam. Djerrahian’s suing for all the profits they made off using the Jay Z image, and a court order to block them from further use.
Pays the cost to be the baws!

Beyoncé was on a Bey Good mission with the United Nations yesterday as she arrived in Haiti to visit with the people and bring a little go-gooder action to the island.  Haiti is still recovering from the mass damage and casualties from the 2012 earthquake.  So a humanitarian trip from one of the biggest stars in the world, who likely brought necessary goods and resources along with her, is always a good thing.

She posted a few intimate pics from her trip below:

What a wedding gift from the WNBA! WNBA Suspends Griner and Johnson Record 7 Games Each
WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson were each suspended a record 7 games for a fistfight that landed them in jail last month.
Griner and Johnson got “married” in Phoenix last week — two weeks after their arrest for a domestic violence incident at a Phoenix home they purchased together.
Griner told authorities the couple fought “for days” over pressures related to their home purchase and their upcoming gay wedding.
In addition to the suspensions, the ladies must undergo individual counseling and mental health evaluations.

The WNBA probably saw this wedding photo of Johnson biting Griner. The photo reveals Johnson’s unresolved anger, sexual aggression and resentment.
Johnson may not even be aware of the seething anger she feels on a subconscious level. But her anger will likely manifest itself later, probably in the form of an emotional outburst that will end in violence.
In issuing the record suspensions, the WNBA reaffirmed its commitment to ending domestic violence among lesbians in the 19-year-old league.
From Yahoo Sports:
WNBA President Laurel Richie said the league “takes all acts of violence extremely seriously” in handing down a suspension that represents more than one-fifth of the 34-game regular season. Richie called the players’ actions “unacceptable.”
“Brittney and Glory’s conduct is detrimental to the best interests of the WNBA and violates applicable law,” Richie said in a statement. “We also understand that people make mistakes, and that education and training are as important as imposing discipline.”
The WNBA said the two All-Stars must undergo individual counseling. If either fails to comply with that condition or those by the court, the league says it can revisit the case.
“It is our strong belief that violence has absolutely no place in society, in sports or in this league,” Richie said. “As president, it is my responsibility to protect the league and uphold its values.”

The players were arrested April 22 on suspicion of assault after they fought in a home they recently bought. Griner pled guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and entered a diversion program. The assault charge was dismissed. She must attend 26 weeks of domestic violence counseling. All charges will be dismissed if she completes counseling. Johnson’s case was transferred to county court and is still pending.
