For the second time, Serena Williams is VOGUE's cover girl. Rocking a blue Rag & Bone sheath dress and a Tate diamond bracelet, the tennis superstar serves up lush hair and a natural face for the annual SHAPE issue for April 2015.
The 33-year-old broke the news in a fabulous way: By reading her own issue while flaunting her banging bikini body.
In her cover story, she sits alongside bestie and fellow tennis champ Caroline Wozniaki (who is also featured in the issue) as they talk about friendship and forgiveness. Oh, and those killer bodies.

“It’s hard and lonely at the top. That’s why it’s so fun to have Caroline and my sister, too. You’re a target when you’re number one. Everyone wants to beat you. Everyone talks behind your back, and you get a lot more criticism. God forbid I lose. It’s like ‘Why?’ Well, I am human.”
On Serena's confidence and forgiveness
...you can see it in her recently announced decision to go back to Indian Wells, a tournament she had vowed to boycott permanently after the largely white, largely senior audience booed the then–nineteen-year-old player throughout an entire match. The crowd had believed that Venus had pulled out of a match at the last minute to make sure the two did not play each other in the semifinals. It is a testament to her grit that Serena won on that difficult day, but she spent the next several hours weeping in the locker room. “Say whatever you want about me and Venus,” Williams would later write in her autobiography, “at the end of the day we were just a couple of kids, trying to do our best.”
Every year, officials at the tournament begged her to come back. Every year, she said no. Even a new owner, billionaire Larry Ellison, and his multimillion-dollar makeover of the tournament—there’s now a Nobu—did not sway her. Then, about a year and a half ago, Williams spent Christmas vacation reading Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom. His account of his struggles caused her to reflect on how she was walking through her own life. “That’s when I realized I had to go back,” she says. “I always talk about forgiveness, but I needed to actually show it. It was time to move on.”
On her personality on the court vs. off the court
"On the court, I am fierce! I am mean and I am tough. I am completely opposite off the court. My confidence just isn’t the same. I wish I was more like I am on the court. Nobody would know that I am constantly crying or complaining.”
On maintaining her physique
“Nowadays everybody goes to the gym. But when I won my first Grand Slam, I had never been.” Even then, however, she was ambivalent about her naturally muscular physique, refusing to lift weights lest her arms get bigger. “I hated my arms,” she remembers. “I wanted them to look soft.” To this day, she uses TheraBands instead of weights to avoid overdeveloping her muscles.
On her interactions with men
“I am really shy. I don’t talk to guys. Friends? Yes. But a potential? No. I get nervous that I will say the wrong thing, and then I just start laughing.”
On playing her sister, Venus
“I don’t look at Venus on the court. I can’t,” she said. “If I am winning, I might feel sorry for her. If I’m losing, I will want to knock her out.”
On kids, family, post-career
“I guess,” she says, sounding unconvinced. “I’m not even looking for it.” When the tennis does end, she has plans to expand her interest in fashion beyond her current clothing line on the Home Shopping Network into something more high-end. She also hopes to increase her philanthropic activities—there’s a school in Kenya she has funded, along with a nursing scholarship named after her slain sister, and a partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative, an Alabama-based nonprofit that provides legal representation to indigent clients.

On the shocking two-hour season finale of Empire Malik Yoba's character Vernon Turner is killed by Andre's wife Rhonda.
Apparently Malik was just as surprised as you were…Malik tells TMZ he had no idea his character was being killed off before season 2 and claims Lee Daniels told him execs at Fox said 'somebody' had to die, but he never got a clear understanding why it was his character who had to go.

Bloomsburg University Student called Mo’ne Davis A SLUT! Gets BOOTED from Team!
A Bloomsburg University baseball player has been dismissed from the team for an offensive Twitter post about Little League World Series star Mo’ne Davis.
The user account belonging to Joey Casselberry had been deactivated as of Saturday night, but screen captures of the tweet show that the player used an offensive word while criticizing news that a Disney Channel movie was being made about Davis.
Casselberry made reference to Davis’ loss to Nevada during the LLWS.
Bloomsburg announced the dismissal of the junior first baseman on Twitter. The university in Pennsylvania said it was “deeply saddened” by the player’s tweet.
Davis, from Philadelphia, was the first girl to earn a win and pitch a shutout in the LLWS last summer, and appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Awwwwww, Kevin Hart Buys Ex-Wife Torrei Hart An Escalade
Torrei Hart received the keys to a brand new Cadillac Escalade, courtesy of her ex-husband Kevin Hart, as a gift for her recent birthday.
The Atlanta Exes star took to Instagram to show off her new whip; and although they’ve experienced some “rough patches” along the way, she thanked Kevin for always having her back:

Jay Z Paternity Case Nears Shock Settlement, Love Child’s Camp Claims A Secret Payoff?
SERIOUSLY? According to Radar Online: They reports that promiscuous rap mogul Jay Z will likely pay a settlement to a son he reportedly fathered 21 years ago.
For 4 years Rymir Satterthwaite has attempted unsuccessfully to obtain Jay Z’s DNA. But Jay Z dodged the process server by giving the court his Manhattan work address. But Rymir’s dogged determination is coming to fruition.
“Ultimately the case will probably be settled out of court,” Lillie Collie, Satterthwaite’s legal guardian, told Radar exclusively.
“We’ve been going through this since 2011 and it has gotten to the point where the family just wants it to be over,” Collie added.
In addition to the 45-year-old rapper’s 3-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, Jay Z has a 12-year-old son, Isa Jael, who lives with his mom in Trinidad. He reportedly purchased a mansion for the boy’s mother and pays her a monthly stipend to stay out of his and Beyonce’s lives.
And just like Rymir, Jay Z is not involved in Isa’s life.
Rymir will reportedly use the settlement money to pay for medical bills and his mounting legal fees.
“Nobody wants this to drag out anymore,” Collie told Radar Online.

OH SNAP! Michel’le: Dr. Dre Gave Me “Five Black Eyes”& “A Cracked Rib”
Singer Michel’le stopped New York’s The Breakfast Club and opened up about her past relationship with rapper and former N.W.A. member, Dr. Dre.
The songstress did not bite her tongue when talking about being a victim of domestic violence and she and the now 50-year-old mogul’s physical relationship. “Waiting him out girl after girl, fighting,” she said when asked what broke the two up. ” It was a lot, you get tired. I tried [to fist fight], I was losing.”
The star also admitted that she not only had a broken nose, but five black eyes, a cracked rib and scars “that are just amazing.” “It was normal,” the R&B Divas star said. “Everybody that knew, it was the normal.”
She continued, “He hasn’t apologized tip this day, it wouldn’t even do any good because it was the past. I do remember when he first gave me my very first black eye, we layed in the bed and he cried. He was crying … He said ‘I’m really sorry. I think that’s the only time he ever said Im sorry. He said ‘I’ll never hit you in that eye again.'”
Michel’le also confirmed that during the course of their relationship, Dre cheated on her with his now wife, Nicole Young.

Drake Sleeps With Lil Wayne’s Girl, Weezy Writes Book About It!
It looks like Drake may be the new “Mr. Steal Yo Girl”. On the heels of being outed by Chris Brown for smashing his girlfriend Karrueche, it looks like Drizzy strikes again. This time though, he hooked up with his boss’ boo!
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne is shopping a new book and in it he details a time when Drake confessed to sleeping with Weezy’s woman. “Yeah, it’s true. Don’t f*** with her like that cause I did f*** her,” the “Trophies” rapper revealed to Wayne while he was locked up at Rikers Island. Apparently Tha Carter rapper was so broken up about the news that he stayed in his cell for multiple days.
“This is the type of s*** that a man never wants to find out when he’s locked up,” Weezy wrote in his book. “Or, maybe so, cause only God knows what I would have done if I wasn’t locked up right now.” Wayne goes on, “I woke up feeling f***** up about the f***** up day that I had … finding out that she f***** Drake was the absolute worst thing I could’ve ever found out.” And he says, “As a man, honestly, that s*** hurt … and not because it was Drake, it could have been any man. It would’ve hurt the same.”

Bobbi Kristina Moved To Rehab Facility
Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in a medically induced coma, but has been moved from an Atlanta hospital to a rehab facility, according to a family source.
CNN reports: Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, had been treated at Emory University Hospital. No details about the transfer to a rehab facility were given.
Brown, Houston’s daughter with singer Bobby Brown, was found unresponsive January 31 in a bathtub at her home in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell. The extent of her injuries isn’t known.
Last month, doctors at Emory removed her breathing tube, allowing Brown to be ventilated through a hole in her throat.
At the time, CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta said the procedure suggested she would need to be on such support for “weeks and months to come.”
Brown’s boyfriend Nick Gordon has been very adamant in saying his voice could revitalize her if the family would allow him to visit. He even appeared on Dr. Phil, albeit drunk and high, to discuss his love for her and his disdain for Bobby Brown.

Walmart Gives $10 Million To Family Of Man Killed In Tracy Morgan Crash
James McNair, a comedian who was traveling in a luxury van with Tracy Morgan that was struck by a Walmart truck last June, died when the accident occurred. A settlement with McNair’s grown children and their attorney for $10 million dollars was announced today, although Walmart the family settled several months prior.
Morgan, who was seen in New Jersey last December, has been slowly recovering since the crash that took place on the New Jersey Turnpike shortly after a performance in Dover, Del in the wee hours of the morning of June 6. The 63-year-old McNair, who went by the nickname “Jimmy Mack,” was pronounced dead at the scene. DNA Info broke news of the recent legal developments in the ongoing matter between McNair’s family and Walmart.

Wal-Mart made the large payout to the family of James McNair to avoid potential losses from litigation, the McNair family’s lawyer said in court papers.
Under the settlement, McNair’s two children, Jamel, 26, and Denita, 19, will split the payout after their lawyer, Daryl Zaslow, takes a nearly $3 million cut, according to court records.
The children had sued Wal-Mart after one of its trucks slammed into a limousine van carrying McNair, Morgan and other comedians on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7, 2014.
New Jersey police charged the truck’s driver, Kevin Roper, with death by automobile and four other vehicle assault charges.
The actual settlement was signed by in October of last year, but the deal wasn’t made public until January of this year. According to court documents, Walmart wanted to keep the terms of the settlement as it feared the amount would hurt the company’s bottom line. There was also difficulty in obtaining the $10 million settlement because McNair wasn’t a high-wage earner and thus the attorney had to justify the large amount.
There has been no comment from Morgan’s reps on the matter.

Tamar Braxton addresses that Hospital Situation at her Birthday Party!
Tamar Braxton celebrated her birthday over the weekend.
She had friends like Kim Porter and her hubby Vince front and center for the fun times. And she also took a minute to respond to reports of her being rushed to the hospital recently.
Reports stated that Thursday afternoon, "The Real" co-host complained of anxiety and shortness of breath, and was then rushed to the hospital. But she was on the party scene. Before her b-day party, Tamar took to the 'Gram to explain saying:

Did Oprah really call M.I.A. a ‘f–king terrorist’ at a 2009 event?
I have such mixed feelings about M.I.A. I think she’s legitimately talented, like, crazy-talented. She’s probably a musical genius. I don’t mind that she’s political, although I could take or leave her political stances for the most part (and half the time I question whether she really knows what she’s talking about). But I also think M.I.A. has issues. Issues with men, issues with life, issues with the chip on her shoulder. She seems self-defeating sometimes – like she’s just looking for a fight, looking for someone to alienate or create a beef with.
All of that came to a head in M.I.A.’s new interview with Rolling Stone, which was supposed to be about the ten-year anniversary of her album Arular. She ended up doing a lengthy diatribe about politics, her beef with her ex-boyfriend Diplo and an incident with Oprah Winfrey… which I’m not sure I really believe happened the way M.I.A. says it happened. As I said, she goes on and on, so you can read the full piece here. Here are some of the Diplo and Oprah parts.
Early success: “By the time I hit America and actually found out the press aspect of it and the success aspect of it and the fact that there’s gonna be, you know, tons of people at the shows. . . and I had an encore at Coachella. That had never happened except for like, Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, and it only happened like four times in the history of Coachella. By the time that was happening to me, I was with Diplo and he basically just like shat on every good thing that was happening to me, and I just didn’t enjoy it because if I was on a cover of a magazine he’ll be like, “What do you want to do, like be on the dentist waiting room table? Like, is that what a magazine is for? It’s corny. Like, don’t do magazines.”
Diplo was an emotionally abusive monster: “When I got signed by Interscope, he literally smashed my hotel room and broke all the furniture because he was so angry I got picked up by a major label and it was the corniest thing in the world that could possibly happen. And then Missy Elliott called me for the first time in 2005 to work with me on her record, and I’m sure we had a massive fight about that — the fact that I was talking to anyone who was, like, popular. I wish I enjoyed it because I had this person on my shoulder the whole time saying, “It’s sh-t, it’s sh-t, it’s sh-t. You shouldn’t be on the charts. You shouldn’t be in the magazines and you should not be going to interviews. You should not be doing collaborations with famous people. You should be an underground artist.” So the whole two years I was with him, I just let him dictate. I basically had this man dictate to me how everything in America that I experienced was completely, like, irrelevant and it was nothing.”
Diplo was jelly: “Oh, 100 percent. It’s only now when I look back at it in 2015, I can see that he was just jealous and he couldn’t wait to be Taylor Swift’s best friend and date Katy Perry. But at that time I believed him. I just felt like he was right, and he was something of a political, righteous person with some values. I didn’t realize it was just jealousy.”
2005 was better than 2015: “At that time when Arular happened the world was so much more cultured. We had way better f–king music. People were having way better sex. People were eating way better food. It’s like we had progression, and now it’s like all we have is electronic music. People have to take drugs to pretend they’re having a great time, and the world has become way more aggressive and backwards and gentrified. Artistically, we’re not setting off enough fireworks in the art scene. There’s no f–king fireworks in the fashion scene.”
Her Oprah story: “In 2009, Time nominated me for one of the most influential people of the 21st century or something and I met Oprah at that party. And I was like, “Hey, people are gonna f–king die in my country. Like, please pay attention.” And she was like, “You’re sh-t because you were rude to Lady Gaga and I’m not talking to you. And I’m gonna interview Tom Cruise jumping on my sofa, so f–k off.” Yeah, she didn’t talk to me. She shut me down. She took that photo of me, but she was just like, “I can’t talk to you because you’re crazy and you’re a terrorist.” And I’m like, “I’m not. I’m a Tamil and there are people dying in my country and you have to like look at it because you’re f–king Oprah and every American told me you’re going to save the world.”

Eh. Do I believe that Diplo is a tiny little jealous douchebag who emotionally abused his girlfriend more than a decade ago? FOR SURE. Diplo is a well-known douchebag and yes, I totally believe he was jealous of M.I.A. blowing up before him. But the Oprah story? No. I don’t believe it went down like that. I’m not an Oprah apologist by any means, but I simply don’t believe that Oprah would A) know M.I.A. on sight at a Time Magazine event, B) know M.I.A.’s politics well enough to form a negative opinion of her and C) call M.I.A. a “terrorist” to her face or behind her back. Now, did M.I.A. go up to Oprah and start jabbering like a crazy person about some political situation? Probably. Did Oprah try to politely shut her down? Probably.

In Atlanta V-103 hosted a private listening session with Bryshere Gray (Hakeem) and Jussie Smollett (Jamal) from the hit show EMPIRE at Suite Lounge, Atlanta’s premier and hottest Upscale Night Lounge/Restaurant.
A huge part of the hip hopera and what helped make the show such a success is the musical offerings in each episode, produced by superproducer Timbaland. Last night the guys gave us a sneak peek into the hit album Empire and that included “Drip, drop, drip dripptey, drop” and the other smash hit ” Beautiful .” Check out the photos courtesy of Briana Crudup !
If you haven’t heard, Jussie Smollett is a budding R&B singer (inking a deal with Columbia Records recently) and Byshere “Yazz the Greatest” Gray is an up-and-coming rapper. So now the question is…will the guys be releasing any solo albums soon? The short answer: No! But, don’t fret. Solo albums are on their agenda, possibly for next year. Right now, though, they’re totally focused on the show. V-103 also gave out Empire CD’s to tons of lucky guests if they answered the Empire trivia questions and of course you know Empire fans were in the building and had no problems answering them !
