“Empire” co-stars Raven Symone and Jussie Smollett linked up for a night out on the town. The twosome made their way to Stage 48 to party it up at Legendary Damon’s Luxx Ball 2015 affair to celebrate his birthday.
“Refill” singer Elle Varner also came out for the night’s festivities.
Backstage, Raven caught up with Lil Kim (who was tapped to perform) to snap it up for the cameras.

Ummmm, Kanye West Speaks On Racism…Again, Says ‘It’s Stupid’
Milk Studios in New York City.Rapper Kanye West is known for his unique views and more recently he has been willing to share his thoughts on subjects like racism, classism, elitism and more.
Recently, the 37-year-old rapper discussed racism and white people singing along to “N—-s in Paris” at his concerts in an interview with Clique TV.
In the interview he can be heard saying ‘It’s like a silly concept that people try to touch on…to separate, to alienate, to pinpoint anything… It’s stupid’
He also went on to discuss hearing white people use the N-Word, “It does hurt when we hear that because we’re still in a generation that remembers when racism was a big thing that held people back.” eh Whateva!
Jessica Lange Confirms ‘American Horror Story’ Departure
Sorry folks, Jessica Lange will not be returning for next season of American Horror Story.
At The 2015 Paleyfest American Horror Story: Freak Show panel on Sunday Lange confirmed that she will be moving on after four long, yet exciting seasons. “To cut to the chase, no,” she said when asked if she will be back.
The actress added, “We’ve had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I’ve had the opportunity to play.”
But as fans say goodbye to the show’s star, they will be saying hello to a few new folks. During the panel, the crew announced that Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will join the cast, alongside newcomer, Lady Gaga.
While on the red carpet, AHS actor, Michael Chiklis shared with HipHollywood that he is excited to see Gaga’s acting chops. “She’s an incredible talent. She is a crazy, great musician,” Michael, who played Dell Toledo on Freak Show explained. “I’m looking forward to seeing what she does.”
The cast and crew gathered during the closing night presentation to celebrate an amazing series, but a night on this level would not have gone on without the mention of their late friend and co-star, Ben Woolf. The 34-year-old died on February 23 after being struck on the head with a car mirror from an SUV.
“He was just such a sweetheart,” Finn Wittrock said. “Why is it always the best ones who go.”

Cynthia Erivo to Join Jennifer Hudson in ‘Color Purple’ Return
*Cynthia Erivo will shake her shimmy with Jennifer Hudson this fall when the musical “The Color Purple” returns to Broadway.
Erivo, who starred in the Menier Chocolate Factory production in London in 2013, will reprise her role of Celie in her Broadway debut. The production, which begins previews in November at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, is directed and designed by John Doyle.
Hudson will play Shug Avery, the sultry blues singer in the story adapted from Alice Walker’s novel about one woman’s triumph over adversity.
Real Estate Expert Explains why LeBron’s $17 Million Miami Mansion Won’t Sell
Chris Leavitt, director of luxury sales for Douglas Elliman, said LeBron James‘ Miami mansion might not make a sale right now, according to Page Six.
Leavitt said the property has to be in the right location for the right price. And that’s where James has an issue. His home is located in the Coconut Grove neighborhood.
“What people really want is Star Island, Palm Island, Indian Creek Island, La Gorce Island, or North Bay Road. These are the premier real estate locations in Miami,” Leavitt said. “This is not, unfortunately, there.”
“It’s not a bad price per square foot, but I think it’s a tad high for that area,” he added about it being hard to find someone to write $17 million check.
lebron james, mansion“At this price point,” Leavitt said, “people aren’t impressed by who owns it. They don’t care. It doesn’t really matter to them. The people that buy these homes won’t say, ‘Oh my God, it’s LeBron James’ home, I’m going to buy it.’”
Leavitt said it’s a good idea to focus on using the seclusive area as a selling point to potential buyers who don’t want to live in a party atmosphere.
“I would focus on the privacy,” he said. “It’s close enough to the action, but it’s far enough away that you’re not in the hustle and bustle. It’s very serene and peaceful down there. It is one of the most wide-open bay views you’ll find. There are lots and lots of great attributes.”
Rihanna Plugs “Home” In NYC
Rounding out the weekend with some promotional duties, Rihanna showed up at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.
The “We Found Love” lady was clad in a gorgeous green getup as she attended a special event for her forthcoming animated feature “Home,” also starring Jim Parsons, Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez.
“Home” is slated to hit theaters on March 27th. Per the synopsis, “When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human.
