So heartbreaking. As soon as Cissy Houston laid eyes on her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, in her hospital bed on Feb. 6, she lost it. In fact, she suffered a pretty bad health scare. ‘Cissy can’t handle this,’
After suffering the death of her daughter, Whitney Houston, three years prior, Cissy Houston can’t bear to also lose her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Cissy arrived at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina is in a medically induced coma, with a heavy heart on Feb. 6. As soon as Cissy walked into Bobbi Kristina’s hospital room and laid eyes on her, she just lost it. She immediately started gasping for air and her whole body was “shaking.”
“Poor Cissy can’t handle this. She took one look at Bobbi Kristina and got short of breath. Her heart also started palpitating. It was scary for the family. The minute Cissy walked into the room, she was shaking and visibly nervous,” a source tells several media outlets.
“They had to sit Cissy down in a chair in Bobbi Kristina’s room and call a doctor in. She’s alright now — they have her breathing into an oxygen machine to calm her down and give her air,” our source adds.
This breaks our hearts. It’s terrible enough that Cissy had to suffer the loss of her daughter in 2012, but now, she has to cope with the fact that Bobbi Kristina’s fate is dire, and she may lose her too.
As I previously reported, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 31, when her body was found face-down, and unresponsive, in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Since then, she’s been in a medically induced coma.
Unfortunately, doctors reportedly said there’s nothing more they can do to help Bobbi Kristina. The family was allegedly waiting for Cissy to arrive before making a decision to pull her off life support.
But there are new developments in the case against Bobbi Kristina in court. According to Channel 2 investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer the warrants are related to Brown's failure to appear in court for a previous traffic citation. She was ordered to appear before a judge within 72 hours.The warrant was dismissed after court officials learned of her condition.
Investigators are focusing on Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, as they try to determine how she ended up facedown in a tub of water, a source with knowledge of the case told CNN.
In another development, a source close to her family told CNN that she has injuries that still need to be explained. The nature of those injuries was not disclosed.
These developments come after police had to be called to an Atlanta hotel after a fight broke out among Brown's family members. According to a police report, Atlanta police were called to the W Hotel in midtown Atlanta because of an altercation that took place among the Brown family during a celebration for Bobby Brown's birthday.The 911 call was made by an employee at the bar around 12:40 a.m. Friday.
"They are having a fight here in the bar. A group fighting in the bar and they are not leaving," the employee said.
According to the police report, Shayne Brown got into an argument with his mother, who then spit in his face and hit him in the head with a glass bottle.
"They used one of the glasses at our bar as a weapon. They hit someone and cut them in the face," the employee said.
The report says Shayne Brown did not want to press charges against his mom, but went to Grady Memorial Hospital for injuries to his head.
This entire situation is so heartbreaking. Our thoughts remain with Bobbi Kristina’s loved ones as they prepare to say their final goodbyes.
