John Legend on meeting Chrissy: ‘I wasn’t like, This is the woman I’m gonna marry’
John Legend covers the December issue of Los Angeles Confidential mag to talk about music and Grammys. He won the AMA last week for Favorite Male Artist Soul/R&B (beating out Tantrum Brown and Pharrell Williams). John has nine Grammys unders his belt, and he’ll probably win more next year (if his current album is still eligible).
John talks about his wife of one year, Chrissy Teigen. She recently posted a photo of him in the shower on Instagram. It’s a cute pic, and you can see a hint of Legend booty. Chrissy keeps John on his toes, but he reveals that it wasn’t love at first sight for him seven years ago:
Was it love at first sight? “Not right away. I’m more cautious than that. I wasn’t like, ‘This is the woman I’m going to marry’ from day one. For me I’m the kind of person who needs to grow into that feeling. It was probably a couple of years in when I could already see us being together forever.”

Chrissy’s already talked about how she and John got together for keeps. She said they hooked up right away, and then she “left him by himself for a while. I played it cool for a long time.” She didn’t want to scare him away or try and lock him down, which is a wise move. John could have his pick of groupies, Chrissy made sure to keep him guessing about her. It worked. I bet they’re going to have kids soon. Chrissy’s made no secret about wanting several mini-Legends running around the house.

So with all the extra time Wiz Khalifa has on his hands since his spilt with estranged wife Amber Rose, it seems the Pittsburgh rapper doesn’t quite know what to do with it. Or maybe he does…
Wiz is an avid social media user, sharing shots of himself as he travels the world and shares plenty of pics participating in his favorite pastime with his “main chick” Mary Jane. But today, he took it to another level. Wiz got someone from his crew to snap a pic of him while in the shower…naked! Nothing much to see though, since he made sure to cup his “men parts” in one hand while pouring a bottle of water over his head with the other.

"Were we underdogs today? For sure, right?" McCoy said. "Dallas gets a lot of hype. I'm sure everybody took them in the game. They've got good players. But we've got good players, too."
After the Eagles' 33-10 win, they appeared superior. The gulf between coach Chip Kelly's team and the rest of the NFC East widened in a statement game that could resonate when the playoff bracket is determined next month.
"We're not into statements," Kelly said. "We've given ourselves an opportunity to play meaningful football in December."
If they play the way they did on Thursday, the meaningful football can extend a few games past December. Kelly's offense overwhelmed the Cowboys, and it was outdone only by an Eagles defense that neutralized Dallas' attack.
They improved to 9-3 and remained undefeated in the NFC East, where they have outscored their rivals, 97-44, in three games. The Cowboys are 8-4 with two divisional losses. The two teams will play again at Lincoln Financial Field on Dec. 14.
"We're 9-3, we're No. 1 right?" McCoy said. "That's what I'm talking about."
Although Kelly did not consider it a statement game, the sentiment among the players was that they sent a message. That was especially the case for a defensive line that bullied the Cowboys' acclaimed offensive line and limited running back DeMarco Murray, the NFL's leading rusher, to fewer than 100 yards for just the second time this season. He totaled 73 yards on 20 carries.
McCoy was the superior rusher on Thursday, finishing with 25 carries for 159 yards, one touchdown, and one fumble. Quarterback Mark Sanchez had perhaps his finest game since replacing Nick Foles, completing 20 of 29 passes for 217 yards and one touchdown. He did not turn the ball over and was efficient with the tempo.
"We really wanted to start fast," Sanchez said. "We wanted to keep our tempo going, and we got to establish that. I'm really proud of the way we started the game for the offense, but across the board, just an amazing team win."
The Eagles opened the game with one of their best drives of the season, going 80 yards on nine plays in just more than three minutes. Both McCoy and Darren Sproles carried the ball, Sanchez completed four passes to three receivers, and he kept the ball for a 2-yard score.
After the Eagles forced Dallas to punt, Sanchez tried to outdo the opening drive. He led the Eagles 88 yards on seven plays in about two minutes, passing on six of the plays. Sanchez found Jordan Matthews for a 27-yard touchdown strike and a 14-0 lead.
"We didn't respond as well as we needed to when we were on offense," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "We were never able to kind of keep ourselves in this game, and certainly that's a disappointment."
The Eagles took three trips inside the 20-yard line during the second quarter and settled for a field goal each time, which is a recurring problem that was raised by a few players after the game. The lead could have been 35-7 if they had cashed in with red-zone touchdowns.
It didn't matter - especially with the way the defense played.
Even when McCoy fumbled to give Dallas possession at the Eagles' 13-yard line early in the third quarter, the defense was able to make a critical stop. Fletcher Cox stuffed Murray for a loss on second down, an example of how Cox might have been the most dominant player on the field. Casey Matthews sacked Tony Romo on third down to keep the Cowboys to a field goal.
"That's huge," Kelly said. "That's what we talk about all the time. Just because you turn it over doesn't mean that you've got to give up points, and I think when your defense can hold them to three instead of seven, that's a little deflating for them."
"They made things a little bit tougher," Romo said of the Eagles defense. "I missed a couple of throws that I normally won't miss. They pushed the pocket and did things that make things a little bit more challenging."
"I think that, as a unit, this was probably absolutely correct," center Jason Kelce said. "I think we finally starting jelling. We finally started to see the cohesion."
The Eagles appear to be hitting their stride as they enter the final four games of the season. Sitting atop the NFC East, they control their own path to the playoffs.
With the way the Eagles played Thursday, they might be contenders for more than the division crown. They'll have a measuring stick for where they stand in the NFC when the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks visit Philadelphia on Dec. 7.
"We're just getting better," Kelly said. "Our approach is good because we're going to play meaningful football in December."

With season 2 of BET’s Being Mary Jane set for February, the network is revving up for its premiere with a new teaser.
As season 1 came to a close, Mary Jane (played by Gabrielle Union) found out that her ex-boyfriend David (Stephen Bishop) had moved on with a new girlfriend (just when she’d decided he was the one for her).
In the nearly two-minute clip, the two are seen reconnecting, and just as things seem to be heating up between them, MJ decides she doesn’t want to travel down the same road anymore. “We always do this.. every time, we always do this — and then it’s over,” she says. “You go on about your life, and there I am left behind.. waiting.” After she says all she has to say, she walks off, leaving him behind.

DC Rapper Targeting Migos Is Now Threatening Fat Trel
D.C. rap trio Legg Team have been at odds with Migos ever since the crew claims they snatched Quavo’s “QC” chain, and now Legg rapper Pablo is sending out a warning to Fat Trel. Pablo claimed that he was going to expose the “We All We Got” rapper, and hinted about having information that would damage his reputation.

Why Bette Midler singled out Ariana Grande as an example of what pop stars shouldn’t do. Bette’s specific advice to these starlets was “don’t make a wh*re out of yourself to get ahead.” Not a wise choice of words. Tossing out insults like the “w” word is no way to win people over in a discussion. I understand Bette’s desire to pull the “get off my lawn” card, but c’mon. It’s not like Bette’s never dressed like a vamp or hoisted the jubblies to the moon. She’s done so on several occasions.
It was an uneven match with Bette, 68, going after a 21-year-old starlet. News quickly spread to Ariana’s left side, and she delivered a surprisingly classy response. Ariana tweeted a photo of Bette in her old mermaid costume with this note:

Kanye West is going to try his hand at fashion designing again and plans to step away from music to focus on perfecting it.

When the eight division world champion arrived back in the Philippines on Monday, November 24, after successfully defending his WBO Welterweight title against Chris Algieri in Macao, China, Pacquiao held a press conference with details concerning the planned negotiations.
“Negotiation is now underway to finalize the fight between me and Floyd Mayweather hopefully to happen in May of next year,” the Filipino Congressman told media members in attendance.
According to the Filipino based periodical, Pacquiao also disclosed that he’s been offered a guaranteed $80 million for the proposed mega fight, while Floyd Mayweather Jr. is allegedly being offered a whopping $100 million, easily making the projected prizefight the most lucrative event in the history of boxing.
