Rihanna Look-A-Like Gets Paid $20,000 In Product Endorsement Fees
It’s nice work if you can get it. A 22-year-old woman who is a dead ringer for pop singer Rihanna is commanding up to $20,000 in product endorsement fees.
According to Mz Shyneka of Word On the Streetz, Andele Lara is paid big bucks by clothing and shoe companies to endorse their products.
The companies, which probably can’t afford the real thing, pay Andele thousands of dollars to endorse their sneakers, mascara and hair products on social media.
“As Rihanna’s career rose, my career rose in a sense because it was like she was getting bigger and I was getting bigger and everyone kept noticing her more,” said Andele.
A 22-year-old Boston woman named Andele Lara, looks very similar to the Barbadian singer. Andele tells The Daily Mail during a interview that she first realized she looked like Rihanna when she was in high school. She says that one of her friends pointed out the identical features.
Andele has never met Rihanna, but did have a small encounter with her. A fan posted a picture on Instagram of Andele with the caption, “Rare pic of Rihanna.” The icon commented saying, “OH?!” Her response sparked a flood of nasty comments being left on Andele’s page, which is now private.
She does admit that she would love to meet the real Rihanna one day. “I would love to meet RiRi and take a selfie with her!”

Chris Brown Serenades Trey Songz at His 30th Birthday Party
Trey Songz celebrated turning 30 over the weekend with a carnival-themed party held at a park in Malibu. His actual birthday is November 28th.
It was a star-studded celebration as Chris Brown, Kid Ink, Trey’s rumored boo Mila J, Sevyn Streeter, Chanel West Coast and more celebs came out to have some fun.
Guests enjoyed carnival games, rides, and even a mechanical bull ride.
At one point during the evening, Trey’s bestie Chris Brown got on the mic and serenaded Trey with a ‘Happy Birthday’ song.

Halle Berry Sues Baby Daddy Gabriel Aubry For Trying To Make Their Kid White!
Halle Berry just took Gabriel Aubry to court … claiming he’s trying to make their 6-year-old daughter white.
Reports TMZ: Halle was furious Gabriel was straightening Nahla’s naturally-curly hair, lightening it with highlights and she is convinced it’s because he does not want the girl to appear to be African American.
Halle didn’t show in court Monday morning, but her lawyer Steve Kolodny did, along with Gabriel and after a lot of arguing the judge ruled NEITHER Halle nor Gabriel could change Nahla’s look from its natural state.
So the judge is allowing Nahla’s hair to grow back naturally.
Well if she wanted “black” children, then why did she get pregnant by a white man?

Charlotte Hornets’ Jeffery Taylor won’t appeal 24-game suspension
Charlotte Hornets forward Jeff Taylor has been suspended for 24 games without pay by the NBA. Taylor plead guilty to misdemeanor domestic assault and malicious destruction of hotel property, stemming from an incident with a “girlfriend” last September.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver went beyond the standard 10-game suspension for a violent offense. The current climate in professional sports following the NFL’s gaffe in handling the Ray Rice incident.
Taylor has already missed 11 games and will sit out an additional 13. That’s about fourth of the NBA’s 82 game schedule.He will lose $199,689 of his $915,000 salary.
“This suspension is necessary to protect the interests of the NBA and the public’s confidence in it,” NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in a release Wednesday. “Mr. Taylor’s conduct violates applicable law and, in my opinion, does not conform to standards of morality and is prejudicial and detrimental to the NBA.”
Taylor, 25, is in his third NBA season. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation. As part of his probation, he must complete 26 weeks in a domestic violence intervention program.

Things must be getting serious between Robin Thicke and his very young girlfriend, because she was recently spotted hanging with Robin and his son.
Via TMZ: “Thicke, his boy Julian and his super young GF April Love Geary were snapped at the USC/UCLA game at the Rose Bowl Saturday night … where they got a good view of the Bruins whooping the Trojans.
As TMZ first reported, while Thicke has been coy about his dating situation, 19-year-old April has been going full bore, posting photos that were snapped inside Thicke’s home.”

Tasha Smith Spotted At Court Getting Support From Tisha Campbell-Martin
The nasty split between Tasha Smith and estranged husband Keith Douglas waged on in a Van Nuys courtroom as the actress made her way to the courthouse and requested a restraining order.
The legal order wouldn't be the first to hit the Smith/Douglas household (they still live together) as Keith ALREADY has a restraining order in place. It requires Tasha to stay at least 100 yards away from him (outside of the home) and at least 2 yards when they are at home.
In documents she filed a few weeks ago, Tasha said Keith has flown into jealous rages, calling her a "f***ing d**e" and accusing her of sleeping with women! "When he's in a rage, I feel that he is capable of killing me."
During the hearing, Tasha called in one of her famous friends, Tisha Campbell Martin, for moral support. The two were seen offering one another emotional support outside of the courtroom. I'll keep you posted on the court's ruling.

Ethiopian Label FOMI release for Spring/Summer 2015 Collection
FOMI, a label founded by Ethiopian PR executive-turned-designer Afomia Tesfaye in 2011. In addition to expanding to footwear this year, FOMI recently launched an online store for its ethically-produced Ethiopian-made shoes, handbags and accessories. “Afomia’s motivation,” a press release explained, “has become to show the world that it is possible for fashion companies to ethically produce luxury goods in Africa, without compromising on quality and craftsmanship.” To commemorate the virtual shop, the label has put out new styles of handbags and shoes (including a colorful line of Eshi Oxfords), as well as their “I Want To Go To Africa” (“Je Jeux Aller En Afrique”) tee, which Lauryn Hill has been spotted in.

Initially the prospect of developing a handbag line in Africa seemed daunting, but that became Afomia Tesfaye’s motivation in creating FOMI. In early 2011, she made the decision to leave Los Angeles to travel back to her native homeland of Ethiopia with the intention of designing a collection of accessories. After researching the country’s indigenous resources, she discovered a little known fact, that Ethiopia produces some of the world’s finest quality leather. Undeterred by the fact that she had no formal design training, she soon completed a collection of colorful yet sophisticated leather handbags.
Athough FOMI represents Afomia’s first venture into design, fashion has always played an integral role in her life. She led an unconventional childhood, as her father’s position as a diplomat to England, and then later to the United States, would entail that her family relocate every few years.
From an early age, this exposure to diversity through travel enabled her to cultivate her own interests in style and fashion. While earning a degree in English Literature from UCLA, she held internships in the West Coast editorial offices of both Elle magazine and Women’s Wear Daily. For several years to follow, she would go on to further hone her skills in the apparel industry by holding positions at several notable sportswear companies, including Triple Five Soul and Juicy Couture.
