Michael Strahan COVERS Men’s Fitness September 2014 Issue
Newly inducted NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan is currently on a career high right now. Despite the shortcomings in his love life, he recently celebrated becoming one of the newest inductees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame after his 15-year career in the NFL (he played for the New York Giants).
The 42-year-old former defensive lineman turned "Live with Kelly & Michael" television host is now gracing the cover of Men’s Fitness magazine’s September 2014 issue, showing off his signature gap and toned physique. And we're loving it.
In the cover story, the new “GMA” co-host talked about keeping in shape while juggling his many jobs, the evolution of football and how he’s handling having to wear so many different hats in one day. Along with his daytime gigs, he's also a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday. He has definitely been putting in work since he left the NFL.
You would think having to work so much, one couldn't possibly have time to workout. But not Michael. He revealed he actually feels in better shape now then he did when he was playing ball. He said,
“I feel better than I did when I was playing,” Strahan says, flashing the goofy, gap-toothed grin that is as much his signature as the quarterback sack. “And not only when I was playing [pro], but when I was a young player, in my early 20s.”
When asked about his weight he said,
“I’m leaner,” he says. “The weight is distributed differently, but it’s still there.”
And it sure looks good too. Michael's issue hits stands August 4th.
NeNe Speaks on Apollo's Sentencing
NeNe Leakes chimes in regarding her Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mate Phaedra Parks' husband Apollo Nida's eight year prison sentence for fraud and whether or not Phaedra is returning to the show…
NeNe tells Reality Tea,
“I like Apollo and I really do hate that this happened. I think Apollo is smart. And they have two little young boys…eight years is a long time. That’s a long time to give your life away. I can’t give these people seven days. I hate it happened, I really do. And I also hate that it’s public. They’re already going through something, he’s got to be going through something and she’s going through something and now the public is all in it.”
As for the rumors of Apollo's wife Phaedra taking a hiatus NeNe says,
“Bravo has to make that announcement. Y’all don’t put your money on her not being back, how about that?”
Nicki Minaj Teases “Anaconda” Video
Nicki Minaj is offering a sneak peek of the video to her new “Anaconda” single. The song’s cover art received tons of buzz with Nicki’s bottom-baring pose - and it’s getting an equally bootylicious video treatment.
In the jungle-themed clip, Nicki’s joined by a group of scantily-clad women. With a sample of Sir Mix-a-Lot‘s “Baby Got Back” featured on the track, they all flaunt their assets, making them the camera’s main focus.

Miley Cyrus Flaunts Colorful Braids in the Big Apple
It’s always interesting to see how her look changes, and Miley Cyrus opted for some bright hues in her hair
The “Wrecking Ball” babe went out to dinner at Nobu restaurant with a few friends, showing off her neon-dyed braids and sporting a lacy white top and denim shorts.
Meanwhile, medium Melissa Bacelar told press that Miley consulted her following the death of her dog Floyd earlier this year.
“Floyd just wanted to let Miley know that there was nothing she could have done. That even if she was at home she couldn't have stopped it. He was just a free spirit, his life with her was amazing, she was a great mom to him. They always had a good time together. The coyote thing wasn't his favorite but he knew there was nothing he could do.”
Miss Jones returning to Hot 97?
It looks like Miss Jones will be back on the radio with Hot 97, since Angie left them in the dust… Now they are getting desperate and need ratings…
She was fired from Hot 97 back in 2008 and then fired from a station in Philly in 2011…. Remember Wendy Williams and Miss Jones had major beef.. So now that the old execs are out and new ones are in, so she may have a shot a reclaiming her throne…

HAIR-O-RAMA! It’s that time again for The Bronner Brothers Hair Show
The 67th annual Bronner Brothers International Hair Show & Convention (sponsored by Ford Motor Company) was held in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center.
"RHOA" Porsha Williams was on hand to sign autographs and promote her "Naked Hair"line.
"R&B Divas Atlanta" star Meelah was spotted at the show.
Meelah hit the stage to perform hits from her 702 era and well as her new single "Give It To You."
Syleena Johnson, who co-stars on "R&B Divas Atlanta" alongside Meelah, also hit the stage to perform a few of her hits.
LaTavia Roberson, also of "R&B Divas Atlanta", hosted a panel discussion named “The Business of Natural Hair: Changing Landscape or Trend?”
"LAHH ATL" star Rasheeda was also on hand to sign autographs for fans.
Reality star Africa, who stars on "The New Atlanta" was spotted rocking her luscious curls at the show.
Former "RHOA" personality and Atlanta hair stylist Dwight Eubanks posed on the red carpet.
We spotted Oshea, the former boyfriend of Erica Dixon on "LAHH ATL." Hmm....we wonder if he had enough gas to get home.
"Fashion Queens" co-host Derrick J smiled for the cameras.
Folks who attended the hair show were treated to many innovative hair designs including a pair of wings and a spider web - all sculpted using human hair!

Chris Brown Officially Dumps Karreuche For Being an Opportunist?
Karreuche was probably holding him down in jail to secure her money and genuinely loved him, but texting other guys at the same time. And Chris wasn’t feeling that.
Chris team claims he found out Karreuche’s people leaked a story that she dumped him, allegedly because of his and her never-ending obsession with Rihanna and refusal to act like an adult.
But Chris’ people tell TMZ that he found out she was texting and sending photos to other guys while they were together. He was also furious she did interviews for her clothing line and talked about their relationship.
Chris decided she was “an opportunist” and dumped her. It kill me when guys like Chris who stay up in some pum pum will expect you to be faithful! Everyone has their breaking point and apparently Kae had hers

Birdman’s Cash Money Label: Hit With Lawsuit Over Unpaid Attorney Bill
Birdman’s (real name Bryan Williams) record label is accused of stiffing their lawyers on the bill after they successfully won them legal battles accusing them of stealing music, according to theJasmineBRAND.com
The firm Goldberg & Rimberg filed suit in NY Court on March 31st against Cash Money Records, whose roster includes Lil Wayne, Drake, Tyga, Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, etc. The docs state that the label hired them back in March 2008 to help fight off a lawsuit filed by music exec Merlin Bobb and also a lawsuit they were filing against a company named BCD Group.
Following those 2 legal actions, they represented the label on various other legal actions.
The firm states that they had numerous conversations with Cash Money in which they agreed to pay them their rate for the services.
However, the label stopped paying and now is accused of owing a total of $42,144.61 in bills and out of pocket expenses paid by the firm. The record label has not filed a response to the lawsuit despite being served with the court papers.
The firm filed docs last month in which they are asking the court to grant them a default judgement against Cash Money for the 42k principal + $16,582.22 in interest + other court costs for a grand total of $59,216.83.
The judge has yet to make a decision on the motion
